Abstract
Objective: To describe the distribution characteristics of hypertension among adult twins in the Chinese National Twin Registry (CNTR) and to provide clues for exploring the role of genetic and environmental factors on hypertension. Methods: A total of 69 220 (34 610 pairs) of twins aged 18 and above with hypertension information were selected from CNTR registered from 2010 to 2018. Random effect models were used to describe the population and regional distribution of hypertension in twins. To estimate the heritability, the concordance rates of hypertension were calculated and compared between monozygotic twins (MZ) and dizygotic twins (DZ). Results: The age of all participants was (34.1±12.4) years. The overall self-reported prevalence of hypertension was 3.8%(2 610/69 220). Twin pairs who were older, living in urban areas, married, overweight or obese, current smokers or ex-smokers, and current drinkers or abstainers had a higher self-reported prevalence of hypertension (P<0.05). Analysis within the same-sex twin pairs found that the concordance rate of hypertension was 43.2% in MZ and 27.0% in DZ, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.001). The heritability of hypertension was 22.1% (95%CI: 16.3%- 28.0%). Stratified by gender, age, and region, the concordance rate of hypertension in MZ was still higher than that in DZ. The heritability of hypertension was higher in female participants. Conclusions: There were differences in the distribution of hypertension among twins with different demographic and regional characteristics. It is indicated that genetic factors play a crucial role in hypertension in different genders, ages, and regions, while the magnitude of genetic effects may vary.

Abstract
Bacterial blight (BB) is currently considered one of the most serious rice diseases and is caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo). Numerous studies have shown that breeding resistant rice varieties is one of the most effective methods to prevent BB, and it is important to identify and isolate more BB resistance (R) genes from different rice resources. Using a map-based approach, we identified a new QTL/gene, Xa43(t), from ZhangPu wild rice, which was highly resistant to the BB isolate PX099. We performed bulked segregant analysis combined with candidate gene prediction to identify the candidate gene. The Xa43(t) gene was narrowed down to a 29-kb region containing four putative genes. More importantly, the candidate gene Xa43(t) did not affect the main agronomic traits of rice. We also identified a widely applicable molecular marker, namely Inde1-18, which co-segregates with the Xa43(t) gene. The Xa43(t) gene is a new broad-spectrum BB resistance gene without identified alleles and has good application prospects for rice disease resistance breeding.

Abstract
Objective: To compare the improvement in quality of life (QoL) after implantation of leadless pacemakers (L-PM) with that of conventional pacemakers (C-PM) in patients with slow-onset arrhythmias. Methods: A total of 112 patients who received pacemaker implantation for the first time at Beijing Anzhen Hospital from January 2020 to July 2021 were selected, including 50 leadless pacemakers (L-PM) and 62 conventional pacemakers (C-PM). Clinical baseline data were collected, pacemaker-related complications and SF-36 scores were recorded and followed up at 1, 3, and 12 months post-operatively; SF-36 questionnaires and additional questionnaires were completed to compare the quality of life of the 2 groups; and factors associated with the change in QoL from baseline to 1, 3 and 12 months post-operatively were analyzed using multiple linear regression models. Results: The age of the 112 patients was (70.3±10.5) years, and 69 patients (61.6%) were male. The age of patients with L-PM and C-PM was (75.8±8.5) years and (67.5±10.4) years, respectively (P=0.004). In the L-PM group, 50 patients completed 1-, 3-, and 12-month follow-up. In the C-PM group, 62 patients completed the 1-month and 3-month follow-up, and 60 completed the 12-month follow-up. The C-PM group had a higher incidence of discomfort in the surgical area, impact of daily activities for the discomfort in the surgical area, and concern about heart or overall condition than the L-PM group on the additional questionnaire (all P values<0.05). After adjusting for age and SF-36 scores at baseline, at 12th month of follow-up, patients implanted with C-PM had lower values for quality of life PF, RP, SF, RE, and MH scores compared to patients implanted with L-PM, with beta values (95%CI) of -24.500 (-30.010--18.981), -27.118 (-32.997--21.239), -8.085 (-12.536--3.633), -4.839 (-9.437--0.241), -12.430 (-18.558--6.301), respectively (all P values<0.05). Conclusions: L-PM is associated with better QoL in slow arrhythmias patients, and patients who received L-PM reported less activity limitations due to surgical discomfort and less emotional distress.

Abstract
Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play important roles in carcinogenesis. However, the effect of lncRNA on chemoresistance and RNA alternative splicing remains largely unknown. In this study, we identified a novel lncRNA, CACClnc, which was upregulated and associated with chemoresistance and poor prognosis in colorectal cancer (CRC). CACClnc promoted CRC resistance to chemotherapy via promoting DNA repair and enhancing homologous recombination in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, CACClnc specifically bound to Y-box binding protein 1 (YB1, a splicing factor) and U2AF65 (a subunit of U2AF splicing factor), promoting the interaction between YB1 and U2AF65, and then modulated alternative splicing (AS) of RAD51 mRNA, and consequently altered CRC cell biology. In addition, expression of exosomal CACClnc in peripheral plasma of CRC patients can effectively predict the chemotherapy effect of patients before treatment. Thus, measuring and targeting CACClnc and its associated pathway could yield valuable insight into clinical management and might ameliorate CRC patients' outcomes.

Abstract
Low temperatures limit the geographic distribution and yield of plants. Hormones play an important role in coordinating the growth and development of plants and their tolerance to low temperatures. However, the mechanisms by which hormones affect plant resistance to extreme cold stress in the natural environment are still unclear. In this study, two winter wheat varieties with different cold resistances, Dn1 and J22, were used to conduct targeted plant hormone metabolome analysis on the tillering nodes of winter wheat at 5 °C, -10 °C and -25 °C using an LC-ESI-MS/MS system. We screened 39 hormones from 88 plant hormone metabolites and constructed a partial regulatory network of auxin, jasmonic acid and cytokinin. GO analysis and enrichment of KEGG pathways in different metabolites showed that the 'plant hormone signal transduction' pathway was the most common. Our study showed that extreme low temperature increased the most levels of auxin, cytokinin and salicylic acid, and decreased levels of jasmonic acid and abscisic acid, and that levels of auxin, jasmonic acid and cytokinin in Dn1 were higher than those in J22. These changes in hormone levels were associated with changes in gene expression in synthesis, catabolism, transport and signal transduction pathways. These results differ from the previous hormone regulation mechanisms, which were mostly obtained at 4 °C. Our results provide a basis for further understanding the molecular mechanisms by which plant endogenous hormones regulate plant freezing stress tolerance.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs)-based therapy for perianal fistulizing Crohn's disease (pfCD) has been extensively studies in the past decade. Its efficacy and safety had been preliminarily confirmed in some phase 2 or phase 3 clinical trials. This meta-analysis is performed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of MSCs-based therapy for pfCD. METHODS Electronic databases (Pubmed, Cochrane Library, Embase) were searched for studies that reported the efficacy and safety of MSCs. And RevMan were used to assess the efficacy and safety. RESULTS After screening, 5 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were included in this meta-analysis. RevMan 5.4 for meta-analysis showed that: [Efficacy] Patients had definite remission after MSCs treatment, with an odds ratio (OR) of 2.06 (P < .0001, 95%CI 1.46, 2.89) vs controls. [Safety] The incidence of the most frequently reported TEAEs (treatment-emergent adverse events, TEAEs), perianal abscess and proctalgia, did not significantly increase due to the use of MSCs, with an OR of 1.07 in perianal abscess (P = .87, 95%CI 0.67, 1.72) vs controls, and an OR of 1.10 in proctalgia (P = .47, 95%CI 0.63, 1.92) vs controls. CONCLUSIONS MSCs seem to be an effective and safe therapy for pfCD. MSCs based therapy has the potential to be used in combination with traditional therapies.

Abstract
Quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) is important for safe, rapid and effective risk assessment of chemicals. In this study, two QSAR models were established with 1230 chemicals to predict toxicity towards Tetrahymena pyriformis using multiple linear regression (MLR) method. The topological(T)-QSAR model was developed by using topological-norm descriptors generated from the topological structure, and the spatial(S)-QSAR model were built with spatial-norm descriptors obtained from the three-dimensional structure of molecules and topological-norm descriptors. The r2training and r2test are 0.8304 and 0.8338 for the T-QSAR model, and 0.8485 and 0.8585 for the S-QSAR model, which means that T-QSAR model and S-QSAR model can be used to predict toxicity quickly and accurately. In addition, we also conducted validation on the developed models. Satisfying validation results and statistical parameters demonstrated that QSAR models based on the topological-norm descriptors and spatial-norm descriptors proposed in this paper could be further utilized to estimate the toxicity of chemicals towards Tetrahymena pyriformis.

Abstract
Central venous lesion is a difficult problem in the vascular access complications of hemodialysis, which can cause serious clinical symptoms and affect the quality of hemodialysis and life of patients. We established arteriovenous fistula of the contralateral graft blood vessel with the used vein on the diseased side of the central vein of the patient. The arteriovenous fistula of the graft blood vessel was successfully punctured and hemodialysis was performed 2 weeks later. In this way, we not only solved the problem of venous hypertension and subsequent vascular access in the patient, but also reserved more vascular resources.

Abstract
The fungal microbiota is an important component of the complex multikingdom microbial community colonizing the mammalian gastrointestinal tract and has an important role in immune regulation. However, how fungi regulate inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is poorly understood. This study found that intestinal fungi regulate immune responses in IBD. Antibiotic-mediated depletion of fungi facilitated the development of IBD. Fungi greatly enhanced oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) by enhancing glutaminolysis. Mechanistically, we found that fungi could activate the dectin-1-Syk- NF-κB signaling pathway to promote the expression of key enzymes and transporters involved in glutaminolysis. In summary, our findings reveal that fungal interactions in the human gut could be a promising therapeutic target for IBD.

Abstract
Background Modification of lifestyle-related risk factors for multiple sclerosis (MS) has been associated with improved health outcomes when compared with standard medical management alone. Based on an existing lifestyle modification program offered as a residential workshop, the MS Online Course (MSOC) was developed to translate the workshop into an online intervention. We performed a pilot randomized controlled trial (RCT), to assess the feasibility concepts of accessibility, learnability and desirability through quantitative and qualitative analyzes. In the present study, we performed additional qualitative analyzes to explore participants' motivations, expectations, and experiences of the MSOC. This study aims to complement prior feasibility analyzes and inform recruitment strategies and course content redevelopment so that its effectiveness may be assessed by examining behavior change and health outcomes in a future larger RCT. Methods Participants were recruited via online advertisements and randomized to either: the standard care course, containing material sourced from public facing MS websites; or the intervention course, based on an evidence-based lifestyle modification program for people with MS. Course completers were invited to participate in semi-structured interviews. Within a qualitative paradigm, reflexive thematic analysis of interviews was undertaken. Results Of 31 eligible participants, 17 completed the MSOC and 14 agreed to be interviewed. Four themes were identified in this analysis: (1) "Wanting to help others" (helping through volunteering, contributing to knowledge base, spreading the word; (2) "Seeking knowledge" (confirmation of existing knowledge; obtaining new knowledge, relevant, credible information); (3) "Doing what I can to help myself" (understanding lifestyle modification, changing my lifestyle, remaining well); and (4) "Changing attitudes" (finding positivity, feeling more confident and in control). Conclusions Participants were motivated to help others through research, help themselves by improving knowledge and to find ways to better manage their MS. Expectations included obtaining credible, reliable information, to substantiate existing knowledge, and to further understand lifestyle modification. Participants' experiences included confirmation of and obtaining new knowledge, and early implementation of modified lifestyle behaviors. These insights surrounding participants' motivations, expectations and experiences will assist in recruitment strategies, course redevelopment and outcome measures for the future RCT to examine the effectiveness of the MSOC.

Abstract
Objective: To study the effect of circ-WHSC1 on the growth, metastasis and radiosensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells and its molecular mechanism. Methods: Cancerous tissues and adjacent tissues were collected from 23 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) was used to detect the expression levels of circ-WHSC1, miR-338-3p, and ELAVL1 mRNA. Western blot was used to detect the expression of ELAVL1 protein. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells 5-8F and SUNE1 were divided into si-NC group, si-circ-WHSC1 group, pCD5-ciR group, circ-WHSC1 group, anti-miR-NC group, anti-miR-338-3p group, miR-NC group, miR-338-3p group, si-circ-WHSC1+ anti-miR-NC group, si-circ-WHSC1+ anti-miR-338-3p group, miR-338-3p+ pcDNA group, miR-338-3p+ ELAVL1 group. Tetramethylazolium salt colorimetric method (MTT) was used to detect cell viability. Clone formation test was used to detect cell clone formation and cell radiosensitivity. Flow cytometry was used to detect cell apoptosis. Transwell was used to detect cell migration and invasion. Dual luciferase assay was used to detect the targeting relationship between circ-WHSC1 and miR-338-3p, miR-338-3p and ELAVL1. The SUNE1 cells stably transfected with sh-circ-WHSC1 were injected into nude mice and irradiated with radiation, and then the tumor volume and weight of mice were detected. Results: The expressions of circ-WHSC1 (1.57±0.94 vs 3.78±1.18, 1.00±0.10 vs 1.64±0.14/2.00±0.21/2.81±0.26/3.36±0.34) and ELAVL1 (1.28±0.74 vs 3.36±0.77, 1.00±0.08 vs 2.51±0.19/3.27±0.27) in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues and cells were increased, and the expression of miR-338-3p (3.13±0.96 vs 1.37±0.98, 1.00±0.08 vs 0.48±0.08/0.38±0.07) was decreased (P<0.05). After knockdown of circ-WHSC1, the activity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells was decreased [(100.00±8.00)% vs (51.33±8.62)%, (100.00±10.10)% vs (41.02±7.31)%], the number of clone-forming cells was decreased (101.00±8.54 vs 50.33±8.02, 114.00±14.10 vs 42.33±10.01), the rate of apoptosis was increased [(5.37±1.20)% vs (18.3±1.01)%, (6.5±1.18)% vs (22.43±1.40)%], and the numbers of migration (136.00±13.00 vs 72.33±9.50, 154.00±14.10 vs 62.67±11.50) and invasion (113.67±11.59 vs 60.67±9.07, 124.33±15.57 vs 50.33±9.01) were decreased; after different doses of radiation, the cell survival score was decreased (0.23±0.04 vs 0.06±0.01, 0.32±0.07 vs 0.05±0.02) (P<0.05). Circ-WHSC1 targeted and negatively regulated miR-338-3p. Inhibition of miR-338-3p affected the effect of knockdown of circ-WHSC1 on the proliferation, apoptosis, migration, invasion and radiosensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells. MiR-338-3p targeted and negatively regulated ELAVL1; ELAVL1 overexpression affected the effects of miR-338-3p on the proliferation, apoptosis, migration, invasion and radiosensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells. After the cells stably transfected with sh-circ-WHSC1 were injected into nude mice, the tumor volume [(884.67±95.63)mm(3) vs (487.33±76.51)mm(3)] and weight [(899.01±88.54)mg vs (558.67±75.04) mg] of the nude mice were reduced; after further irradiation, the tumor volume [(395.00±73.50)mm(3) vs 243.13±42.51)mm(3)] and weight[ (452.33±67.30)mg vs (211.09±57.51)mg] of the nude mice were reduced (P<0.05). Circ-WHSC1 regulated the expression of ELAVL1 by targeting miR-382. Conclusion: Knockdown of circ-WHSC1 can inhibit the growth and metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells by targeting miR-338-3p/ELAVL1 axis, and enhances the radiosensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells.

Abstract
To construct a non-communicable disease system recommended by WHO, develop the key techniques and promote their applications, obtain the main health indicators and understand the prevalence of chronic diseases, and provide support for the prevention, control and research of chronic diseases. Based on factor analysis, K-means clustering and multi-cluster random sampling, 30 typical sampling areas at provincial level were designed and constructed; By referring to WHO's Non-communicable Disease Surveillance Framework and the American behavioral risk factor sampling and questionnaire and combined with China's actual needs, a comprehensive surveillance system for chronic diseases, covering morbidity and mortality, risk factor exposure and community management and control of chronic diseases, was established, a "5+12+1" quality control system for surveillance data collection, management, analysis and feedback was formed and a three-level surveillance information management platform and information technology construction standards in the province were established, resulting the integration of life registration, chronic disease case reporting and community chronic disease management. Using these key techniques, we have obtained high-quality surveillance data of the whole province, produced the main health indicators, carried out research of chronic diseases, and analyze the prevalence and changing trend of the main chronic diseases and related risk factors to boost the government's practical projects for the reform of the people's livelihood and facilitate the construction of "Healthy Zhejiang". The successful experiences and key techniques have been applied in the construction of chronic disease surveillance system in some provinces in China.

Abstract
Background Anastomotic leakage (AL) is one of most severe postoperative complications following low anterior resection (LAR) for rectal cancer, and has an adverse impact on postoperative recovery. The occurence of AL is associated with several factors, while few studies explored the role of intracorporeal barbed suture reinforcement in it. Methods Consecutive cases underwent laparoscopic LAR for rectal cancer from Mar. 2018 to Feb. 2021 in our center were retrospectively collected. Cases were classified into the intracorporeal barbed suture reinforcement group and the control group according to whether performing intracorporeal reinforcement with barbed suture, and AL incidences were compared between two groups. Propensity score matching (PSM) was then performed based on identified risk factors to reduce biases from covariates between two groups. AL incidences in the matched cohort were compared. Results A total of 292 cases entered into the study, and AL incidences were significantly lower in the intracorporeal barbed suture reinforcement group compared with the control group (10.00% vs 2.82%, P = 0.024). Sex, BMI, preoperative adjuvant chemoradiotherapy and anastomotic level were chose for PSM analyses based on previous studies. In the matched cohort, the AL incidences were still significantly lower in the intracorporeal barbed suture reinforcement group (10.57% vs 2.44%, SD = 0.334). Conclusions Intracorporeal barbed suture reinforcement is associated with low AL incidences after laparoscopic LAR for rectal cancer, which is a potential procedure for reducing AL and worthy of application clinically.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To show that zero-opioid discharges after both open and robotic cystectomy are feasible and to examine the impact of zero-opioid discharges on patient interaction with the physician's office. MATERIALS AND METHODS 107 patients who underwent either open or robotic radical cystectomy from March 1, 2020 to December 30, 2020 were identified. Patient demographics, perioperative data, and 30 day pain related outcomes including phone calls, office visits, requests for pain medication, emergency department visits, and readmissions were abstracted from the chart. We then examined variables associated with a zero-opioid discharge. RESULTS Thirty-two patients were discharged with an opioid prescription (Median Oral Morphine Equivalents Prescribed = 90) and seventy-five were discharged without an opioid prescription. On regression analysis, age (OR 1.07, 95% CI [1.02-1.12]) and pathology (OR 0.36, 95% CI[0.14-0.9]) remained significantly associated with postoperative opioid prescriptions. There were no differences in the percent of patients presenting to the emergency department, being readmitted, calling the office, calling the office regarding pain, or requesting opioid prescriptions within thirty days of discharge, or the number of post-operative office visits (p> 0.05 for all). CONCLUSIONS Patients can safely be discharged home without opioids following cystectomy, regardless of robotic or open approach. Age and pathology are predictors of the need for an opioid prescription on discharge. These patients did not have increased follow-up visits, phone calls, or requests for pain medication.

Abstract
We employed pandemic treatment strategies that we developed at the beginning of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, and it was not clear whether any adverse results were associated with our strategies. Therefore, we carried out a retrospective study to compare our pandemic treatment strategies with prepandemic protocols to determine whether the strategies used during the high-risk period of COVID-19 were appropriate. The observation period was September 2019 to February 2020. Patients hospitalized from December 2019 to February 2020 were included as an experimental group, and individuals hospitalized from September 2019 to November 2019 were included as a control group. All non-small cell lung cancer patients hospitalized during the observation period were included except for pediatric and obstetric patients, patients younger than 18 years old, and patients admitted only for routine follow-up examinations. Treatment strategies were evaluated based on the prognosis of the different treatment methods, including surgical and nonsurgical treatments and discontinuation of therapy. Survival curves were analyzed using the Kaplan-Meier method. Cox regression analysis was used for multivariate analysis of risk factors for progress-free survival. Propensity score matching was used for clinical characteristics to adjust for selection bias. Therapy discontinuation in the experimental group was significantly higher than in the control group (P < .001). The differences in cancer progression and the number of deaths between the 2 groups were not significant (P = .38 and .13, respectively). For late-stage patients, there were significant differences in nonsurgical treatment and discontinued therapy (P < .001 and < .001, respectively) between the 2 groups, while the cancer progression and death toll differences were not significant (P = .20 and .20, respectively). For early-stage patients, the differences in surgical treatment, discontinued therapy, cancer progression, and death toll were not significant (P = .24, 0.24, 0.61, and 0.49, respectively) between the 2 groups. Multivariate analysis revealed that temporary discontinuation of therapy did not predict poor progress-free survival independently (hazard ratio = 1.007, 95% confidence interval: 0.653-1.552, P = .98). For patients in geographical regions with a high risk for COVID-19 infections, temporarily suspending treatment for late-stage non-small cell lung cancer patients is not likely to significantly impact their prognosis if they can return to treatment within 3 months of discontinuation.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the association between self-reported gingival bleeding and prevalent hypertension among adults in Zhejiang with a cross-sectional study. Methods: After excluding participants with self-reported, physician-diagnosed heart diseases, stroke, diabetes, cancer, and those who never or rarely brush their teeth at baseline study, 48 625 participants aged 30-79 in the China Kadoorie Biobank (CKB) study from Tongxiang, Zhejiang were included for the final analysis. Three multivariable logistic regression models were used to estimate the odds ratios (ORs) for the associations of self-reported gingival bleeding with prevalent hypertension. Results: The mean age of women was (51.2±9.2) years, and 42.9% of participants had prevalent hypertension. The percentage of self-reported frequent gingival bleeding was 6.56% (95%CI: 6.38%-6.75%), significantly higher among women (8.08%, 95%CI: 7.82%-8.35%) than among men (4.36%, 95%CI: 4.12%-4.60%) (P<0.001). After adjusting for socio-demographic factors, behavioral lifestyle, sleep duration, BMI, waist circumference, snoring, in comparison with men whose gingivae never or rarely bleed while brushing teeth, the odds ratio (95%CI) of hypertension for those with occasional, and frequent gingival bleeding were 1.04 (0.96-1.12) and 1.18 (1.02-1.37), respectively (trend P =0.038). The corresponding figures for women were 0.96 (0.91-1.02) and 0.95 (0.86-1.05), respectively (trend P=0.344). Conclusion: Frequent gingival bleeding was positively associated with prevalent hypertension among men.

Abstract
Background: Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a well-known risk factor for developing colitis-associated colorectal cancer (CAC). However, the molecular mechanism of the pathogenesis of CAC remains unclear. This study aimed to explore candidate genes involved in the tumorigenesis of CAC. Methods: GSE75214 and the Cancer Genome Atlas Program (TCGA) dataset were used to analyze the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in UC and colorectal cancer (CRC), respectively. Survival-hub genes were identified from these DEGs by sequentially constructing a protein–protein interaction network, selecting hub genes, and conducting survival analysis. Regulatory signatures were also predicted on these genes through the online database. Apcmin/+ and UC mice models were used to validate the expression of the above-predicted molecules. Gene set enrichment analysis and CIBERSORT were performed to explore the enriched molecular pathways and associated tissue-infiltrating immune cells of genes. Results: Here, 376 common DEGs were identified from the GSE75214 and TCGA datasets. Through survival-hub gene selection and in vivo experiments, we confirmed that CXCL10 and CXCL11 were significantly upregulated in UC and CRC. We also proved that miR-34a-5p and miR-203a-5p were potential regulators of CXCL10 and CXCL11. Meanwhile, CXCL10 and CXCL11 may activate the JAK–STAT signaling pathway via the interaction with cytokine receptors in UC. Furthermore, CXCL10 and CXCL11 were positively associated with the tissue infiltration of proinflammatory M1 macrophages in UC and CRC. Conclusion: CXCL10 and CXCL11 may act as the candidate genes involved in the tumorigenesis of CAC and potential therapeutic targets to prevent the development of CAC from UC.

Abstract
Objective: To examine the heritability of body mass index (BMI) and coronary heart disease (CHD), and to explore whether genetic factors can explain their correlation. Methods: Participants were from 11 provinces/municipalities reqistered in the Chinese National Twin Registry (CNTR) from 2010 to 2018. Participants data were collected from face-to-face questionnaire survey. Bivariate structure equation model was used to estimate the heritability and the genetic correlation of BMI and CHD. Results: A total of 20 340 pairs of same-sex twins aged ≥25 years were included in this study. After adjusting for age and gender, the heritability of BMI and CHD was 0.52 (95%CI: 0.49-0.55) and 0.76 (95%CI: 0.69-0.81), respectively. Further, a genetic correlation was identified between BMI and CHD (rA=0.10, 95%CI:0.02-0.17). Conclusion: In Chinese adult twin population, BMI and CHD are affected by genetic factors, and their correlation can be attributed to the common genetic basis.

Funding Acknowledgements Type of funding sources: None. Background The Essential Frailty Toolset (EFT) is a valid measurement of frailty in people with heart valve disease. COVID-19 has prompted the transition to virtual health consultations and necessitates the validation of the virtual assessment of frailty. Methods We conducted a prospective observational cohort study to compare the measurement of EFT in person and virtual format within a maximum 2-week window of repeated measurement. The weighted Kappa tests was used to measure the agreement of EFT scores between assessments; we explored the effect of the sequence of measurement using the Cochran-Mantel-Haenszel statistic to test the general association between the timing of measurement and differences of EFT score. Results We recruited a sample of 49 patients, with a mean age of 81 ± 7 years, including 29 men (59.2%); the primary valvular heart diseases were aortic stenosis (n=40, 81.6%), mitral regurgitation (n=2, 4.1%) and tricuspid regurgitation (n=7, 14.3%). The virtual measurement of frailty was conducted using a standardised protocol. The platform for virtual connection selected by patients was FaceTime (n=20, 40.8%) and Zoom (n=29, 59.2%); the median (IQR) number of days between the in-person and the virtual assessment was 5 (3,10). The weighted Kappa estimate was 0.69 (95% CI 0.55, 0.82), illustrating a strong agreement between the separate scores obtained. The test for the general association was non-significant (p=0.82), indicating a lack of evidence for detecting an association between EFT scores and chronological order of assessment. Conclusion The EFT can be reliably measured virtual in older patients with valvular heart disease to inform clinical care.

Background
We examined the barriers of early nurse-led mobilisation after transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) to support safe next-day discharge home.
Methods
We conducted a prospective observational cohort study of patients treated in 2019-2021 using a standardised post-procedure nursing care standard to promote mobilisation in 4 to 6 hours after TAVI. Results are presented as mean (standard deviation) for continuous variables and as number (percentage) for categorical data; student t test was used to compare continuous variables and χ2 and Fisher exact tests were used to compare categorical variables. All analyses were performed in SAS version 9.4 (SAS Institute).
Results
The cohort included a convenience sample of 139 patients (64 women, 46%) mean age 82.5±6.7 years, NYHA III/IV 72 (51.8%), prior pacemaker 18 (13%), and prior SAVR 11 (7.9%). Patients were treated under local anaesthesia only (n=29, 20.9%) or conscious sedation (n=106, 76.3%) with a balloon expandable device (n=134, 96.4%) in a cardiac catheterisation laboratory (n=111, 79.9%) or hybrid operating room (n=28, 25.2%), and early recovery in cardiac telemetry (n=101, 72.7%) or critical care unit (n=38, 27.3%). Early mobilisation was achieved in 113 patients (81.3%: 4 hours: n=100, 71.9%, 4-6 hours: n=13, 9.4%); there were no significant (p≤0.05) differences in baseline characteristics between patients with early vs. late mobilisation; the primary reasons for delayed mobilisation included monitoring and/or managing cardiac conduction issues (n=6), vascular access hemostasis (n=6) and neurological status (n=4), patient preference or other self-reported issue (n=5) and nursing workload (n=5). In patients who achieved early mobilisation, 81.4% were discharge on post-operative day 1 and 86.3% by day 2, with 99.1% returning directly home. There was no significant difference in 30-day readmission between the two groups.
Conclusions
Early nurse-led protocol-driven mobilisation is safe and effective to facilitate rapid reconditioning and safe transition home after uncomplicated TAVI. Research is needed to better understand patient and systems-level enablers to improve standardisation of practice.
