Abstract
Tin dioxide (SnO2)-based electronic materials and gas sensors have attracted extensive attention from academia and industry. Herein we report the preparation of two-dimensional (2D) porous SnO2 flakes by thermal oxidation of 2D SnS flakes that serve as a self-sacrificial template. An oxidation-enabled, temperature-dependent matter conversion from SnS through three-phase SnS-SnS2-SnO2 (400 °C) and two-phase SnS2-SnO2 (600 °C) to pure-phase SnO2 (≥800 °C) is disclosed by means of combined XRD, TG-DSC and XPS studies. Meanwhile, the associated chemical reactions and the mass and heat changes during this solid-state conversion process are clarified. The as-prepared 2D SnO2 flakes exhibit structural porosity with tunable pore sizes and crystallite sizes/crystallinity, resulting in superior potential for NO2 sensing. At the optimized operating temperature of 200 °C, the prototype gas sensors made of porous SnO2 flakes show competitive sensing parameters in a broad NO2 concentration range of 50 ppb-10 ppm in terms of high response, faster response/recovery speeds, and good selectivity and stability. A sensing mechanism involving the adsorption and desorption of NO2/O2 molecules and the possible surface reactions is further rationalized for the SnO2 NO2 gas sensors.

Abstract
Mixtures of active self-propelled and passive colloidal particles promise rich assembly and dynamic states that are beyond reach via equilibrium routes. Yet, controllable transition between different dynamic states remains rare. Here, we reveal a plethora of dynamic behaviors emerging in assemblies of chemically propelled snowman-like active colloids and passive spherical particles as the particle shape, size, and composition are tuned. For example, assembles of one or more active colloids with one passive particle exhibit distinct translating or orbiting states while those composed of one active colloid with 2 passive particles display persistent "8"-like cyclic motion or hopping between circling states around one passive particle in the plane and around the waist of 2 passive ones out of the plane, controlled by the shape of the active colloid and the size of the passive particles, respectively. These morphology-tailored dynamic transitions are in excellent agreement with state diagrams predicted by mesoscale dynamics simulations. Our work discloses new dynamic states and corresponding transition strategies, which promise new applications of active systems such as micromachines with functions that are otherwise impossible.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Pregnant women belong to the special population of drug therapy, and their physiological state, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics are significantly different from the general population. Drug safety during pregnancy involves two generations, which is a hot issue widely concerned in the whole society. Global Trigger Tool (GTT) of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) has been wildly used as a patient safety measurement strategy by several institutions and national programs, and the effectiveness had been demonstrated. But only one study reports the use of GTT in obstetric delivery until now. The aim of the study is to establish triggers detecting adverse drug events (ADEs) suitable for obstetric inpatients on the basis of the GTT, to examine the performance of the obstetric triggers in detecting ADEs experienced by obstetric units compared with the spontaneous reporting system and GTT, and to assess the utility and value of the obstetric trigger tool in identifying ADEs of obstetric inpatients. METHODS Based on a literature review searched in PubMed and CNKI from January of 1997 to October of 2023, retrospective local obstetric ADEs investigations, relevant obstetric guidelines and the common adverse reactions of obstetric therapeutic drugs were involved to establish the initial obstetric triggers. According to the Delphi method, two rounds of expert questionnaire survey were conducted among 16 obstetric and neonatological physicians and pharmacists until an agreement was reached. A retrospective study was conducted to identity ADEs in 300 obstetric inpatient records at the Sichuan Academy of Medical Sciences & Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital from June 1 to September 30, 2018. Two trained junior pharmacists analyzed the first eligible records independently, and the included records reviewed by trained pharmacist and physician to identify ADEs. Sensitivity and specificity of the established obstetric triggers were assessed by the number of ADEs/100 patients and positive predictive value with the spontaneous reporting system (SRS) and GTT. Excel 2010 and SPSS22 were used for data analysis. RESULTS Through two rounds of expert investigation, 39 preliminary triggers were established that comprised four modules (12 laboratory tests, 9 medications, 14 symptoms, and 4 outcomes). A total of 300 medical records were reviewed through the obstetric triggers, of which 48 cases of ADEs were detected, with an incidence of ADEs of 16%. Among the 39 obstetric triggers, 22 (56.41%) were positive and 11 of them detected ADEs. The positive predictive value (PPV) was 36.36%, and the number of ADEs/100 patients was 16.33 (95% CI, 4.19-17.81). The ADE detection rate, positive trigger rate, and PPV for the obstetric triggers were significantly augmented, confirming that the obstetric triggers were more specific and sensitive than SRS and GTT. CONCLUSION The obstetric triggers were proven to be sensitive and specific in the active monitoring of ADE for obstetric inpatients, which might serve as a reference for ADE detection of obstetric inpatients at medical institutions.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) plays a role in demonstrating substantial utility in lung lesion imaging, detection, diagnosis, and evaluation. Previous studies have found that free-breathing star VIBE sequences not only have high image quality but also have a high ability to detect and display nodules. However, in our routine clinical practice, we have encountered suboptimal image quality in the free-breathing sequences of certain patients. OBJECTIVE This study aims to assess the impact of breath training on the quality of chest magnetic resonance imaging obtained during free-breathing sequences. METHODS A total of 68 patients with lung lesions, such as nodules or masses detected via Computed Tomography (CT) examination, were prospectively gathered. They were then randomly divided into two groups: an observation group and a control group. Standard preparation was performed for all patients in both groups before the examination. The observation group underwent 30 minutes of breath training prior to the MRI examination additionally, followed by the acquisition of MRI free-breathing sequence images. The signal intensity (SI) and standard deviation (SD) of the lesion and adjacent normal lung tissue were measured, and the image signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and contrast signal-to-noise ratio (CNR) of the lesion were calculated for objective image quality evaluation. The subjective image quality of the two groups of images was also evaluated using a 5-point method. RESULTS MRI examinations were completed in both groups. Significantly better subjective image quality (edge and internal structure clarity, vascular clarity, breathing and cardiac artifacts, and overall image quality) was achieved in the observation group compared to the control group (P<0.05). In addition, higher SNR and CNR values for disease lesions were observed in the observation group compared to the control group (t=4.35, P<0.05; t=5.35, P<0.05). CONCLUSION It is concluded that the image quality of free-breathing sequences MRI can be improved through breath training before examination.

Abstract
The organization of microscopic objects into specific structures with movable parts is a prerequisite for building sophisticated micromachines with complex functions, as exemplified by their macroscopic counterparts. Here we report the self-assembly of active and passive colloids into micromachinery with passive rotational parts. Depending on the attachment of the active colloid to a substrate, which varies the degrees of free freedom of the assembly, colloidal machines with rich internal rotational dynamics are realized. Energetic analysis reveals that the energy efficiency increases with the degrees of freedom of the machine. The experimental results can be rationalized by the cooperation of phoretic interaction and osmotic flow encoded in the shape of the active colloid, which site-specifically binds and exerts a torque to passive colloids, supported by finite element calculations and mesoscale simulations. Our work offers a new design principle that utilizes nonequilibrium interfacial phenomena for spontaneous construction of multiple-component reconfigurable micromachinery.

Abstract
Vital pulp therapy and root canal therapy (RCT) are the dominant treatment for irreversible pulpitis. While the success rate of these procedures is favorable, they have some limitations. For instance, RCT leads to removing significant dentin in the coronal third of the tooth that increases root-fracture risk, which forces tooth removal. The ideal therapeutic goal is dental pulp regeneration, which is not achievable with RCT. Specialized proresolving mediators (SPMs) are well known for inflammatory resolution. The resolution of inflammation and tissue restoration or regeneration is a dynamic and continuous process. SPMs not only have potent immune-modulating functions but also effectively promote tissue homeostasis and regeneration. Resolvins have been shown to promote dental pulp regeneration. The purpose of this study was to explore further the cellular target of Resolvin E1 (RvE1) therapy in dental pulp regeneration and the impact of RvE1 in infected pulps. We investigated the actions of RvE1 on experimentally exposed pulps with or without microbial infection in an Axin2Cre-Dox;Ai14 genetically defined mouse model. Our results showed RvE1 promoted Axin2-tdTomato+ cell expansion and odontoblastic differentiation after direct pulp capping in the mouse, which we used to mimic reversible pulpitis cases in the clinic. In cultured mouse dental pulp stem cells (mDPSCs), RvE1 facilitated Axin2-tdTomato+ cell proliferation and odontoblastic differentiation and also rescued impaired functions after lipopolysaccharide stimulation. In infected pulps exposed to the oral environment for 24 h, RvE1 suppressed inflammatory infiltration, reduced bacterial invasion in root canals, and prevented the development of apical periodontitis, while its proregenerative impact was limited. Collectively, topical treatment with RvE1 facilitated dental pulp regenerative properties by promoting Axin2-expressing cell proliferation and differentiation. It also modulated the resolution of inflammation, reduced infection severity, and prevented apical periodontitis, presenting RvE1 as a novel therapeutic for treating endodontic diseases.

Abstract
Background Neonatal sepsis (NS) is an important cause of mortality and morbidity in newborn infants. However, early diagnosis of proven sepsis (culture-positive sepsis) is difficult. We aimed to define the best combination of biomarkers to diagnose the onset of neonatal sepsis, distinguish culture-positive neonatal sepsis and predict the time of confirmation of neonatal sepsis. Methods This retrospective cohort study was conducted from January 2016 to December 2020. Clinical characteristics and laboratory results were collected from the electronic medical records. Hematology profiles and biochemical indices were obtained upon hospital admission. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the risk factors and construct a nomogram. The performance of the nomogram was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and decision curve analysis (DCA). Multivariable linear regression was used to identify the association between admission-to-diagnosis interval (ADI) and correlated variables. Results Overall, 148 infants with neonatal sepsis (67 culture positive sepsis and 81 culture negative sepsis) and 150 controls were included. C-reactive protein (CRP) (p<0.001), platelets (PLT) (p=0.011), urea nitrogen (BUN) (p=0.001) and conjugated bilirubin (BC) (p=0.007) were independent risk factors for neonatal sepsis. The diagnostic nomogram based on CRP, PLT, BUN and BC showed excellent diagnostic accuracy for neonatal sepsis (AUC=0.928). The nomogram based on red blood cell distribution width (RDW) and mean platelet volume (MPV) was efficient in distinguishing proven neonatal sepsis from clinical sepsis, with an AUC of 0.700 in the training group and 0.689 in the validation group. Decision curve analysis (DCA) showed that the nomogram had good clinical utility. Multivariable analysis revealed gestational age, CRP, and MPV were significantly associated with admission-to-diagnosis interval in culture-positive sepsis (p < 0.001). Conclusion Different combinations biomarkers were performant to diagnose the onset of neonatal sepsis, distinguish culture-positive neonatal sepsis, predict the time of confirmation, and aid in individual therapy.

Abstract
Tool wear state recognition is an important part of tool condition monitoring (TCM). Online tool wear monitoring can avoid wasteful early tool changes and degraded workpiece quality due to later tool changes. This study incorporated an attention mechanism implemented by one-dimensional convolution in a convolutional neural network for improving the performance of the tool wear recognition model (1DCCA-CNN). The raw multichannel cutting signals were first preprocessed and three time-domain features were extracted to form a new time-domain sequence. CNN was used for deep feature extraction of temporal sequences. A novel 1DCNN-based channel attention mechanism was proposed to weigh the channel dimensions of deep features to enhance important feature channels and capture key features. Compared with the traditional squeeze excitation attention mechanism, 1DCNN can enhance the information interaction between channels. The performance of the model was validated on the PHM2010 public cutting dataset. The excellent performance of the proposed 1DCCA-CNN was verified by the improvement of 4% and 5% compared to the highest level of existing research results on T1 and T3 datasets, respectively.

Abstract
Formic acid is receiving intensive attention as being one of the most progressive chemical fuels for the electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide. However, the majority of catalysts suffer from low current density and Faraday efficiency. To this end, an efficient catalyst of In/Bi-750 with InOx nanodots load is prepared on a two-dimensional nanoflake Bi2 O2 CO3 substrate, which increases the adsorption of * CO2 due to the synergistic interaction between the bimetals and the exposure of sufficient active sites. In the H-type electrolytic cell, the formate Faraday efficiency (FE) reaches 97.17% at -1.0 V (vs reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE)) with no significant decay over 48 h. A formate Faraday efficiency of 90.83% is also obtained in the flow cell at a higher current density of 200 mA cm-2 . Both in-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and theoretical calculations show that the BiIn bimetallic site can deliver superior binding energy to the * OCHO intermediate, thereby fundamentally accelerating the conversion of CO2 to HCOOH. Furthermore, assembled Zn-CO2 cell exhibits a maximum power of 6.97 mW cm-1 and a stability of 60 h.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) To evaluate the efficacy and safety of nanoparticle albumin-bound paclitaxel (nab-PTX) plus cisplatin as the regimen of conversional chemoradiotherapy (cCRT) in locally advanced borderline resectable or unresectable esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). MATERIALS/METHODS Patients with locally advanced ESCC (cT3-4, Nany, M0-1, M1 was limited to lymph node metastasis in the supraclavicular area) were enrolled. All the patients received the cCRT of nab-PTX plus cisplatin. After the cCRT, those resectable patients received esophagectomy; those unresectable patients continued to receive the definitive chemoradiotherapy (dCRT). The locoregional control (LRC), overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), distant metastasis free survival (DMFS), pathological complete response (pCR), R0 resection rate and adverse events (AEs) were calculated. RESULTS A total of 45 patients with ESCC treated from October 2019 to May 2021 were finally included. The median follow-up time was 30.3 months. The LRC, OS, EFS, DMFS at 1and 2 years were 81.5%, 86.6%, 64.3%, 73.2% and 72.4%, 68.8%, 44.8%, 52.7% respectively. 21 patients (46.7%) received conversional chemoradiotherapy plus surgery (cCRT+S). The pCR rate and R0 resection rate were 47.6% and 84.0%. The LRC rate at 1 and 2 years were 95.0%, 87.1% in cCRT+S patients and 69.3%, 58.7% in dCRT patients respectively (HR, 5.14; 95% CI, 1.10-23.94; P = 0.021). The OS rate at 1 and 2 years were 95.2% and 84.2% in resectable patients compared to 78.8% and 54.4% in unresectable patients (HR, 3.41; 95% CI, 1.10-10.61; P = 0.024). The toxicities during chemoradiotherapy were tolerated, the most common grade 3-4 toxicities were radiation esophagitis (15.6%). CONCLUSION Nab-PTX plus cisplatin were effective and safe as the regimen of conversional chemoradiotherapy of ESCC. The patients receiving conversional chemoradiotherapy plus surgery (cCRT+S) were prone to have a better survival.

Abstract
Background Elderly patients frequently experience a high incidence of adverse drug events (ADEs) due to the coexistence of multiple diseases, the combination of various medications, poor medication compliance, and other factors. Global Trigger Tool (GTT) is a new method for identifying ADEs, introducing the concept of a trigger, that is, clues including abnormal laboratory values, reversal drugs, and clinical symptoms that may suggest ADEs, and specifically locating information related to ADEs in the medical record to identify ADEs. The aim of this study was to establish a GTT-based trigger tool for adverse medication events in elderly patients and to investigate the risk variables associated with such events. Methods The triggers were identified by reviewing the frequency of ADEs in elderly patients in Sichuan, China, retrieving relevant literature, and consulting experts. A retrospective analysis was carried out to identify adverse medication occurrences among 480 elderly inpatients in Sichuan People's Hospital. Results A total of 56 ADEs were detected in 51 patients (10.62%), 13.04 per 1,000 patient days, and 11.67 per 100 admissions. The overall positive predictive value (PPV) of the triggers was 23.84, and 94.64% of ADEs caused temporary injury. Gastrointestinal system injury (27.87%) and metabolic and nutritional disorders (24.53%) were the primary organ-systems affected by ADEs. The majority of ADEs were caused by drugs used to treat cardiovascular diseases. 71.43% of ADE occurred within 2 days of administration and the risk factor analysis of ADE revealed that the number of medicines had a significant correlation. Conclusion This study demonstrated GTT's value as a tool for ADEs detection in elderly inpatients in China. It enhances the level of medication management and comprehensively reflects the situation of ADE of the elderly.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Controlling the relapses of scalp psoriasis is a clinical issue. OBJECTIVES To evaluate the efficacy and safety of a supramolecular active zinc antidandruff hair conditioner in managing scalp psoriasis (SP). METHODS This multicentre randomized, observed-blind, parallel-group, placebo- and active-controlled noninferiority trial enrolled 211 patients with SP between October 2018 and June 2019. The participants were randomized 1 : 1 : 1 to the experimental (supramolecular active zinc antidandruff hair conditioner), placebo (supramolecular hydrogel) or positive control (calcipotriol ointment) group. The primary efficacy endpoint was the disease control rate at the end of the fourth week of treatment, measured using the Investigator's Global Assessment score. RESULTS This study included 70, 70 and 71 participants in the experiment, control and placebo groups, respectively. The disease control rates of SP at the end of week 4 of treatment in the full-analysis set (FAS) were 39%, 25% and 37% in the experimental, placebo and control groups. The margin of superiority between the experimental and placebo groups was > 0 [96% confidence interval (CI) 13.22% (0.43% to ∞)] in the FAS. The experimental group was superior to the placebo group. The noninferiority margin between the experiment and control groups was > -15% [96% CI -1.43% (-14.91% to ∞)] in the FAS. The experimental group was not inferior to the control group. CONCLUSIONS Supramolecular active zinc antidandruff hair conditioner was helpful for the treatment of SP, and it has good clinical efficacy in maintaining therapeutic effect and assisting in preventing the recurrence of psoriasis.

Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is an important infectious disease suffered by many countries, including China. In this stage, accurate diagnosis and treatment are key measures for the prevention and control of TB. Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is a global emerging Gram-negative, multidrug-resistant (MDR) organism characterized by its high contribution to the increase in crude mortality rates. By single cell preparation and strain identification, we isolated S. maltophilia from stored cultures of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb). We found that S. maltophilia could not be removed from sputum by alkali treatment or inhibited by antibiotic mixture added to MGIT 960 indicator tubes. When co-cultured with Mtb on a Löwenstein-Jensen (L-J) slant, it could inhibit the growth of Mtb and liquefy the medium. More seriously, it was resistant to 10 of the 12 anti-TB drugs, including isoniazid and rifampin, and made the mixed samples display multidrug-resistant Mtb (MDR-TB) results in the drug sensitivity test, which might change a treatment regimen and increase disease burden. Following, we conducted a small-scale surveillance which showed that the isolation rate of S. maltophilia in TB patients was 6.74%, but these patients had no special characteristics and the presence of S. maltophilia was hidden. The effect of S. maltophilus on TB and its mechanism are unclear and require more attention. IMPORTANCE China is a high-burden country for tuberculosis (TB), multidrug-resistant/rifampicin-resistant tuberculosis (MDR/RR-TB), and HIV-associated TB. Increasing the positive rate of culture and the accuracy of antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) are important for diagnosis, treatment, and control of TB. In our study, we found that the isolation rate of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia in TB patients was not neglectable and that this bacterium affects the isolation and AST results of TB. Due to a lack of relevant research, the impact of S. maltophilia on the course and outcome of TB is unclear. However, the characteristics of S. maltophilia that increase disease mortality require attention. Therefore, in the clinical testing of TB, in addition to mycobacteria, it is recommended to increase the detection of co-infected bacteria and improve the awareness of TB clinicians of these bacteria.

Abstract
Objective: To assess the cardiovascular health status of adults in China by using the "Life's Essential 8" score, and provide reference for the development and improvement of cardiovascular disease prevention and control policies and measures. Methods: Chronic Disease and Nutrition Surveillance was conducted in 298 counties/districts in 2015 in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) across China, multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling was used to select 45 households in each village or neighborhood, and 20 households were further selected to conduct dietary surveys. In this study, a total of 70 093 adults aged ≥20 years who completed the dietary survey and had complete information were included, their cardiovascular health status were assessed by using the "Life's Essential 8" score, a cardiovascular health scoring standard released by the American Heart Association in 2022. All results were adjusted using complex design-based sampling weights to achieve a better estimate of the population. Results: In 2015, the overall cardiovascular health score of Chinese adults aged ≥20 years was 73.3±12.6, the score was significantly higher in women (77.9±11.6) than in men (68.7±11.8), and higher in urban area (74.5±12.8) than in rural area (71.9±12.2), the differences were significant (P<0.001). It was estimated that about 0.25% (95%CI: 0.16%-0.33%) of adults in China had cardiovascular health score of 100, and 33.0% (95%CI: 31.6%-34.3%), 63.2% (95%CI: 62.1%-64.3%), and 3.9% (95%CI: 3.5%-4.2%) of adults had high, moderate and low cardiovascular health scores, respectively. The proportion of those with high cardiovascular health scores was relatively low in men, those with low education level, those with low income, those living in rural areas, and those living in southwest China (P<0.001). Of the eight factors, diet had the lowest mean score (46.0, 95%CI: 44.7-47.3), followed by blood pressure (59.4, 95%CI: 58.2-60.6) and tobacco exposure (61.4, 95%CI: 60.6-62.2). Conclusions: The cardiovascular health status of two-thirds of adult population in China needs to be improved. Diet, tobacco exposure, and blood pressure are the factors affecting the cardiovascular health of Chinese population, to which close attention needs to be paid, and men, rural residents, and those with lower socioeconomic status are key groups in cardiovascular health promotion.

Abstract
Microplastics (MPs), as a new type of pollutant, are widely detected in sewage treatment plants. Currently, research on MPs in traditional sewage treatment systems has mainly been focused on the pollution level and distribution characteristics, with a lack of studying the impact of MPs on the sludge granulation. In order to explore the effect of MPs on the granulation process, a microplastic exposure test was conducted by adding polyethylene terephthalate microplastics (PET-MPs), which are widespread in the environment. The operating performance of the system, extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) composition, and flora enrichment were analyzed on the sludge granulation. The results showed that the exposure of PET-MPs significantly accelerated the sludge granulation process, whereas the increase in EPS content dominated by PN enhanced the sludge surface hydrophobicity; the granulation rate and EPS secretion were proportional to the exposed particle size. Microplastics and EPS secretions synergistically promoted the formation of granular sludge. However, continuous microplastic exposure led to deterioration of the system decontamination performance and inhibited the degradation process of pollutants, with the most negative effect of nitrite nitrogen accumulation under 250 μm PET-MPs exposure, as high as (5.08±0.24) mg·L-1. The high-throughput sequencing revealed that the microbial community diversity fell in the experimental group. The dominant bacteria at the phylum level were Proteobacteria and Bacteroidota on the sludge granulation. Rhodocyclaceae, Sphingomonadaceae, Flavobacteriaceae, and Rhodanobacteraceae promoted flocculation by increasing EPS secretion. The decrease in Comamonadaceae and Chitinophagaceae weakened the ammonia and nitrite oxidation capacity of the system, whereas the decrease in Rhodobacteraceae, Hyphomonadaceae, and Xanthomonadaceae inhibited the removal of nitrate nitrogen.

Abstract
RATIONALE AND OBJECTIVES Infrapatellar fat pad (IPFP) proton density-weighted images (PdWI) hyperintense regions on MRI are an important imaging feature of knee osteoarthritis (KOA) and are thought to represent inflammation which may induce knee pain. The aim of the study was to compare the intravoxel incoherent motion diffusion-weighted imaging (IVIM-DWI) findings of PdWI hyperintense regions of IPFP between symptomatic and asymptomatic KOA and to determine whether IVIM-DWI parameters can be used as an objective biomarker for symptomatic KOA. MATERIALS AND METHODS In total, 84 patients with symptomatic KOA, 43 asymptomatic KOA persons, and 30 healthy controls with MRI were retrospectively reviewed. Demographic, IPFP-synovitis, Western Ontario and McMaster Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) pain sub-score, IPFP volume and depth and quantitative parameters of IVIM-DWI were collected. The chi-square test, Binary logistic regression and receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) analysis were used for diagnostic performance comparison. RESULTS The IPFP volume and depth were statistically significant differences between the non-KOA and sKOA groups (p<0.05). The IPFP PdWI hyperintense regions demonstrated significantly higher values of D and D* in the symptomatic KOA compared to those in the asymptomatic KOA (1.51±0.47 vs. 1.73±0.40 for D and 19.24±6.44 vs. 27.09±9.75 for D*) (both p<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analyses showed that Higher D and D* values of IPFP hyperintense region were significantly associated with higher risks of knee pain (OR: 1.97; 95% CI: 1.21-3.19; p=0.006 for D and OR: 1.24; 95% CI: 1.09-1.41; p=0.001 for D*). Sensitivity and specificity of D value for symptomatic KOA were 80.28% and 83.33%, with an AUC of 0.78 (0.68-0.86). D* value had the sensitivity with 92.96% and a specificity of 58.33%, with an AUC of 0.82 (0.73-0.89) for symptomatic KOA. CONCLUSION IVIM-DWI can be used as an additional functional imaging technique to study IPFP with signal abnormalities on PdWI, and the D and D* values may have potential value to predict the symptom in mild-to-moderate KOA patients.

Abstract
Modern communication and navigation systems are increasingly relying on atomic clocks. As timing precision requirements increase, demands for lower SWaP (size, weight, and power) clocks rise. However, it has been challenging to break through the general trade-off trend between the clock stability performance and SWaP. Here we demonstrate micro mercury trapped ion clock (M2TIC) prototypes integrated with novel micro-fabricated technologies to simultaneously achieve high performance and low SWaP. The M2TIC prototypes could reach the [Formula: see text]-stability level in 1 day with a SWaP of 1.1 L, 1.2 kg, and under 6 W of power. This stability level is comparable to the widely used rack-mount Microchip 5071A cesium frequency standard. These standalone prototypes survived regular commercial shipping across the North American continent to a government laboratory, where their performance was independently tested. The M2TIC sets a new reference point for SWaP and performance and opens opportunities for high-performance clocks in terrestrial and space applications.

Abstract
Terrestrial water storage anomaly (TWSA) from Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) and GRACE Follow-on was first exacted by using the forward modeling (FM) method at three different scales over the Yangtze River basin (YRB): whole basin, three middle sub-basins, and eleven small sub-basins (total 15 basins). The spatiotemporal variability of eight hydroclimatic variables, snow water storage change (SnWS), canopy water storage change (CnWS), surface water storage anomaly (SWSA), soil moisture storage anomaly (SMSA), groundwater storage anomaly (GWSA), precipitation (P), evapotranspiration (ET), and runoff (R), and their contribution to TWSA were comprehensively investigated over the YRB. The results showed that the root mean square error of TWS change after FM improved by 17 %, as validated by in situ P, ET, and R data. The seasonal, inter-annual, and trend revealed that TWSA over the YRB increased during 2003-2018. The seasonal TWSA signal increased from the lower to the upper of YRB, but the trend, sub-seasonal, and inter-annual signals receded from the lower to the upper of YRB. The contribution of CnWS to TWSA was small over the YRB. The contribution of SnWS to TWSA occurs mainly in the upper of YRB. The main contributors to TWSA were SMSA (~36 %), SWSA (~33 %), and GWSA (~30 %). GWSA can be affected by TWSA, but other hydrological elements may have a slight impact on groundwater in the YRB. The primary driver of TWSA over the YRB was P (~46 %), followed by ET and R (both ~27 %). The contribution of SMSA, SWSA, and P to TWSA increased from the upper to the lower of YRB. R was the key driver of TWSA in the lower of YRB. The proposed approaches and results of this study can provide valuable new insights for water resource management in the YRB and can be applied globally.

Abstract
We report the triton (t) production in midrapidity (|y|<0.5) Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=7.7-200 GeV measured by the STAR experiment from the first phase of the beam energy scan at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The nuclear compound yield ratio (N_{t}×N_{p}/N_{d}^{2}), which is predicted to be sensitive to the fluctuation of local neutron density, is observed to decrease monotonically with increasing charged-particle multiplicity (dN_{ch}/dη) and follows a scaling behavior. The dN_{ch}/dη dependence of the yield ratio is compared to calculations from coalescence and thermal models. Enhancements in the yield ratios relative to the coalescence baseline are observed in the 0%-10% most central collisions at 19.6 and 27 GeV, with a significance of 2.3σ and 3.4σ, respectively, giving a combined significance of 4.1σ. The enhancements are not observed in peripheral collisions or model calculations without critical fluctuation, and decreases with a smaller p_{T} acceptance. Abstract
BACKGROUND To evaluate the value of a deep learning-based computer-aided diagnostic system (DL-CAD) in improving the diagnostic performance of acute rib fractures in patients with chest trauma. MATERIALS AND METHODS CT images of 214 patients with acute blunt chest trauma were retrospectively analyzed by two interns and two attending radiologists independently firstly and then with the assistance of a DL-CAD one month later, in a blinded and randomized manner. The consensusdiagnosis of fib fracture by another two senior thoracic radiologists was regarded as reference standard. The rib fracture diagnostic sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, diagnostic confidence and mean reading time with and without DL-CAD were calculated and compared. RESULTS There were 680 rib fracture lesions confirmed as reference standard among all patients. The diagnostic sensitivity and positive predictive value of interns weresignificantly improved from (68.82%, 84.50%) to (91.76%, 93.17%) with the assistance of DL-CAD, respectively. Diagnostic sensitivity and positive predictive value of attendings aided by DL-CAD (94.56%, 95.67%) or not aided (86.47%, 93.83%), respectively. In addition, when radiologists were assisted by DL-CAD, the mean reading time was significantly reduced, and diagnostic confidence was significantly enhanced. CONCLUSIONS DL-CAD improves the diagnostic performance of acute rib fracture in chest trauma patients, which increases the diagnostic confidence, sensitivity, and positive predictive value for radiologists. DL-CAD can advance the diagnostic consistency of radiologists with different experiences.

Abstract
Nitrogen is abundant in the atmosphere but is generally the most limiting nutrient for plants. The inability of many crop plants, such as cereals, to directly utilize freely available atmospheric nitrogen gas means that their growth and production often rely heavily on the application of chemical fertilizers, which leads to greenhouse gas emissions and the eutrophication of water. By contrast, legumes gain access to nitrogen through symbiotic association with rhizobia. These bacteria convert nitrogen gas into biologically available ammonia in nodules through a process termed symbiotic biological nitrogen fixation, which plays a decisive role in ecosystem functioning. Engineering cereal crops that can fix nitrogen like legumes or associate with nitrogen-fixing microbiomes could help to avoid the problems caused by the overuse of synthetic nitrogen fertilizer. With the development of synthetic biology, various efforts have been undertaken with the aim of creating so-called "N-self-fertilizing" crops capable of performing autonomous nitrogen fixation to avoid the need for chemical fertilizers. In this review, we briefly summarize the history and current status of engineering N-self-fertilizing crops. We also propose several potential biotechnological approaches for incorporating biological nitrogen fixation capacity into non-legume plants.

Abstract
The current study examined the relationship between napping duration and metabolic syndrome (MetS) among Chinese middle-aged and older adults over 4 years. We included 4,526 individuals aged ≥50 years who completed the 2011 and 2015 waves of the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study. General linear models were conducted to analyze the association of napping duration (none, 1 to 29 minutes, 30 to 59 minutes, 60 to 89 minutes, and ≥90 minutes) with MetS. At baseline, a higher prevalence of MetS was observed among participants with longer napping durations (60 to 89 minutes or ≥90 minutes) compared to non-nappers (odds ratio [OR] = 1.27, OR = 1.51, respectively). Among all participants, a napping duration ≥90 minutes at baseline was correlated with an increased risk of MetS 4 years later (OR = 1.58). Among participants without MetS at baseline, excessive napping (≥90 minutes) was predictive of a higher incidence of MetS 4 years later (OR = 1.46). Results revealed that excessive napping was related to an increased prevalence and incidence of MetS among Chinese middle-aged and older adults. [Research in Gerontological Nursing, xx(x), xx-xx.].

Abstract
KIN17 DNA and RNA binding protein (Kin17) is involved in the regulation of tumorigenesis of diverse human cancers. However, its role in the cancer progression and metastasis in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains largely unknown. Bioinformatics and immunohistochemistry staining were used to investigate the expression pattern of KIN17 and its prognostic value in HCC patients. The transwell, wound-healing assay was employed to determine the effects of KIN17 on migration and invasion of HCC cells in vitro. The tail veins model was employed to determine the effects of KIN17 on lung metastasis in vivo. The biological mechanisms involved in cell migration and invasion regulated by KIN17 were determined with Western blot analysis method. KIN17 expression was significantly increased in HCC tissues compared with adjacent normal tissues, with particularly higher in portal vein tumor thrombus and intrahepatic metastasis tissues. Patients with higher KIN17 expression experienced poor overall and disease free survival. KIN17 knockdown in HuH7 and HepG2 cells significantly reduced cell migration and invasion abilities, whereas its overexpression promoted migration and invasion in MHCC-97L and HepG2 cells in vitro and in vivo. In HuH7 and HepG2 cells, KIN17 knockdown inhibited the TGF-β/Smad2 pathway. In contrast, KIN17 overexpression stimulated TGF-β/Smad2 pathway in MHCC-97L and HepG2 cells, along with the genes involved in the epithelial-mesenchymal transition. These findings suggest that KIN17 promotes migration and invasion in HCC cells by stimulating the TGF-β/Smad2 pathway. KIN17 could be a promising prognostic biomarker, as well as a potential therapeutic target in HCC.
