Abstract
Non-coding RNA (ncRNA) refers to RNA that lack the ability to encode protein. Based on their distinct biological characteristics, ncRNA are mainly classified into microRNA (miRNA), long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), and circular RNA (circRNA). NcRNA plays a crucial regulatory role in various biological processes. Pregnancy is a highly intricate physiological process that requires successful completion of multiple steps. Embryo implantation, as a key event of pregnancy, which is regulated by numerous factors, including embryo development, endometrial changes, and the maternal-embryo crosstalk. A diverse array of regulatory mechanisms ensures the accomplishment of embryo localization, adhesion, invasion, and ultimately successful implantation. MiRNA, lncRNA, and circRNA are extensively studied ncRNA molecules at present, which play an important role in the physiological and pathological processes associated with embryo implantation through targeting and regulating the expression of multiple cytokine and genes. With advancements in molecular biology technology, it is anticipated that ncRNA will contribute to the prediction and enhancement of clinical pregnancy outcomes from a molecular perspective.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) may cause damage to many organs of the body and is a potentially fatal disease, which has a serious impact on health and quality of life for patients. Residents play an important role in the screening of OSAHS. This study aims to evaluate the cognition and attitude level of residents towards OSAHS, and to provide evidence for the intervention and diagnosis of the disease. METHODS A cross-sectional survey of residents at a teaching hospital was conducted from December 1, 2021 to December 1, 2022. A questionnaire was used to assess residents' knowledge, attitudes, and confidence in dealing with OSAHS patients. RESULTS Of the 200 residents who responded to the questionnaire, 183(91.5%) completed it. The average score on the knowledge scale of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Knowledge and Attitudes Questionnaire (OSAKA) for all residents in this study was 13.12±2.46. The knowledge score of internal medicine residents was higher than that of non-internal medicine residents (13.46±2.22 vs 12.33±2.83, P<0.05), and the mean knowledge score of residents with respiratory rotation experience was higher than that of residents without respiratory rotation experience (13.46±2.35 vs 12.69±2.56, P<0.05). The average score of the attitude/confidence scale on the OSAKA questionnaire for all residents in this study was 3.64±0.62. Of the 183 residents, 60.7% of residents considered OSAHS to be extremely important as a clinical disorder, 72.7% of residents were confident in the identification of OSAHS patients, but only 50.3% were confident in the management of OSAHS patients, and only 42.6% were confident in the management of patients treated with continuous positive pressure ventilation. There was a weak positive correlation among levels of knowledge, attitude, and confidence. CONCLUSIONS Most residents are aware of the clinical importance of OSAHS, but their knowledge and confidence for OSAHS diagnosis and management are still insufficient, and they need to be trained to manage OSAHS patients.

Abstract
PKM2, also known as M2-type pyruvate kinase, has attracted significant attention due to its crucial role in glycolysis and its abnormal expression in various tumors. With the discovery of PKM2's non-metabolic functions, the transition between its pyruvate kinase activity (in the tetrameric form in the cytoplasm) and protein kinase activity (in the dimeric form in the nucleus) has once again made PKM2 a target of interest in cancer research. Studies have shown that PKM2 is a protein susceptible to various post-translational modifications, and different post-translational modifications play important regulatory roles in processes such as PKM2 cellular localization, structure, and enzyme activity conversion. In this review, we focused on the recent progress of multiple post-translational modifications of PKM2 and their important roles in tumor initiation and development. For example, phosphorylation and acetylation promote nuclear translocation by altering PKM2 cell localization; glycosylation and ubiquitination can promote the formation of dimer structure by affecting the structural transformation of PKM2; succinylation and redox modification promoted the enhancement of PKM2 kinase activity by affecting the transformation of kinase activity. Both changes affect the structure and cell localization of PKM2 and they play a role in promoting or inhibiting tumor development via altering its kinase activity.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The treatment of Dubberley type B capitellar fractures, which are frequently complicated, is widely debated. This study aimed to investigate the prognostic factors and clinical outcomes of Dubberley type B capitellar fractures treated with Herbert screws combined with posterior buttress plates. METHODS Seven men and nine women (aged 30-68 years) with Dubberley type B capitellar fractures were operated on with Herbert screws combined with posterior buttress plates. The patients were classified into Dubberley types IB (seven), IIB (four), and IIIB (five). Complications and bone union were observed, and functional outcomes were evaluated by the Mayo Elbow Performance Index (MEPI). RESULTS All patients were followed up for a mean period of 23.5 months (12-30 months). All fractures healed in 8-14 weeks (mean, 10.5 weeks). No cases of non-union, elbow instability, or avascular necrosis occurred. Degenerative arthritis occurred in 7 (44%) and heterotopic ossification in 11 (69%) patients. The median MEPI score was 92.5 (interquartile range, 85-100) points, with 11 reporting excellent, 3 good, and 2 fair outcomes. The MEPI scores of type IIIB fractures were significantly lower than those of types IB and IIB fractures, while the MEPI scores of type IB and IIB fractures did not differ significantly. CONCLUSIONS Dubberley type IIIB capitellar fractures with multiple articular fragments have a poorer prognosis than type IB and IIB fractures. However, Herbert screw fixation combined with posterior metacarpal locking plates is feasible, providing satisfactory recovery of elbow joint function.

Abstract
The production performance of Jeryak, resulting from the F1 generation of the cross between Gannan yak and Jersey cattle, exhibits a significantly superior outcome compared with that of Gannan yak. Therefore, we used an RNA-seq approach to identify differentially expressed mRNAs (DEMs) and differentially expressed lncRNAs (DELs) influencing muscle growth and development in Gannan yaks and Jeryaks. A total of 304 differentially expressed lncRNAs and 1819 differentially expressed mRNAs were identified based on the screening criteria of |log 2 FC| > 1 and FDR < 0.05. Among these, 132 lncRNAs and 1081 mRNAs were found to be down-regulated, while 172 lncRNAs and 738 mRNAs were up-regulated. GO and KEGG analyses showed that the identified DELs and DEMs were enriched in the entries of pathways associated with muscle growth and development. On this basis, we constructed an lncRNA-mRNA interaction network. Interestingly, two candidate DELs (MSTRG.16260.9 and MSTRG.22127.1) had targeting relationships with 16 (MYC, IGFBP5, IGFBP2, MYH4, FGF6, etc.) genes related to muscle growth and development. These results could provide a basis for further studies on the roles of lncRNAs and mRNAs in muscle growth in Gannan yaks and Jeryak breeds.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Sepsis is a life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by the host's imbalanced response to infection. Due to lack of effective treatments, it has always been the difficulty and focus of clinical treatment of sepsis. Studies have shown that pro-brain-derived neurotrophic factor (proBDNF) binds to the high-affinity total neurotrophic factor p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR), which activates downstream signaling cascades and disrupts immunological inflammation and plays an important role in the progression of sepsis. This study aims to explore the expression changes of lymphocyte-derived proBDNF/p75NTR in patients with sepsis and its effect on lymphocyte differentiation. METHODS From the healthy donors (control group, n=40) and sepsis patients (sepsis group, n=40) admitted to the hospital for the first time, peripheral blood samples and blood routine clinical detection indicators were obtained. By using flow cytometry, the proportion of lymphocyte subsets and their expression of proBDNF/p75NTR were examined. The peripheral blood lymphocytes were isolated from the control group and incubated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Flow cytometry analysis technology was used to detect the expression of proBDNF/p75NTR on LPS-treated lymphocyte subsets. On this basis, we investigated the effects on lymphocyte differentiation by inhibiting p75NTR. RESULTS White blood cell count, neutrophil count, and neutrophil percentage of the patients in the sepsis group at admission were significantly higher than those in the control group; on the contrary, lymphocyte count and lymphocyte percentage in the sepsis group were lower than those in the control group (all P<0.001). The patients in the sepsis group had considerably greater neutrophil/lymphocyte and monocyte/lymphocyte ratios than those in the control group (both P<0.05). In the peripheral blood of sepsis patients, proBDNF expression was upregulated on CD19+ B cells, whereas p75NTR expression was elevated on B cells, CD4+ T cells, and CD8+ T cells (all P<0.05). ProBDNF/p75NTR expression was upregulated by LPS stimulation in vitro in peripheral blood cells of the control group (P<0.05), and this tendency was similar to the expression alterations in peripheral lymphocytes of the sepsis group. Inhibition of p75NTR increased CD4+ T cell and CD19+ B cell percentages, cytokine expression of IL-4 and IL-10, and reduced IL-1β and IL-6 production (all P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS The immunosuppressive state of sepsis patients is indicated by a reduction in lymphocyte count and an increase in the proportion of inactive neutrophils. ProBDNF/p75NTR expression is upregulated in the peripheral blood lymphocytes of sepsis patients, and p75NTR inhibition may control lymphocyte differentiation involved in sepsis progression.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is one of the most important treatments for coronary artery disease (CAD). However, in-stent restenosis (ISR) after PCI is a serious complication without effective measures for prevention and treatment. This study aims to investigate the Ras-related protein 1A (Rap1A) level in ISR patients and in the tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)-induced inflammatory injury model of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), to explore the role of Rap1A in regulating TNF-α-induced inflammation in HUVECs and to provide a new potential target for ISR prevention and treatment. METHODS A total of 60 CAD patients, who underwent PCI between December 2020 and July 2022 from the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, and re-examined coronary angiography (CAG) 1 year after the operation, were included. After admission, 27 patients were diagnosed with ISR and 33 patients were diagnosed with non-in-stent restenosis (non-ISR) according to the CAG. Clinical data were collected, and the plasma Rap1A level was determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). In cell experiments, an inflammatory injury model was established with TNF-α treatment (10 ng/mL, 24 h) in HUVECs. The mRNA and protein expression levels of Rap1A, interlukin-6 (IL-6), and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) were measured by real-time reverse transcription PCR and Western blotting. Small interfering RNA (siRNA) was used to explore the role of Rap1A in regulating TNF-α-induced inflammation in HUVECs. RESULTS Compared with the non-ISR patients, a higher proportion of ISR patients had a history of smoking (P=0.005) and diabetes (P=0.028), and higher levels of glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) (P=0.012), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c) (P=0.014), and hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) (P=0.027). The remaining projects did not show significant differences (all P>0.05). The plasma level of Rap1A in the ISR group was significantly higher than that in the non-ISR group [942.14 (873.28 to 1 133.81) μg/mL vs 886.93 (812.61 to 930.98) μg/mL; P=0.004]. Diabetes, LDL-c, and Rap1A were risk factors for ISR by univariate logistic regression analysis (all P<0.05). The mRNA and protein expression levels of inflammatory factors IL-6 and VCAM-1 were increased in HUVECs after 10 ng/mL TNF-α treatment for 24 h compared with the control group (all P<0.05), while the mRNA and protein levels of Rap1A were increased (both P<0.05). After inhibition of Rap1A in HUVECs, the mRNA and protein expression levels of IL-6 and VCAM-1 were significantly decreased (all P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS The plasma Rap1A level was significantly elevated in patients with ISR, suggesting that Rap1A may be a potential biomarker for predicting ISR. In the TNF-α- induced HUVECs inflammatory injury model, the expression level of Rap1A was increased. The level of TNF-α-induced endothelial cell inflammation was decreased after inhibition of Rap1A expression, suggesting that Rap1A may be a potential target for the treatment of endothelial cell inflammation in ISR.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Hereditary neuropathy with liability to pressure palsy (HNPP) is a rare autosomal dominant peripheral neuropathy, usually caused by heterozygous deletion mutations in the peripheral myelin protein 22 (PMP22) gene. This study aims to investigate the clinical and molecular genetic characteristics of HNPP. METHODS HNPP patients in the Department of Neurology at Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University from 2009 to 2023 were included in this study. The general clinical data, nervous electrophysiological and molecular genetic examination results were collected and analyzed. Molecular genetic examination was to screen for deletion of PMP22 gene using multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification (MLPA) after extracting genomic DNA from peripheral blood; and if no PMP22 deletion mutation was detected, next-generation sequencing was used to screen for PMP22 point mutations. The related literatures of HNPP were reviewed, and the clinical and molecular genetic characteristics of HNPP patients were analyzed. RESULTS A total of 34 HNPP patients from 24 unrelated Chinese Han families were included in this study, including 25 males and 9 females. The average age at illness onset was 22.0 years. Sixty-two point five percent of the families had a positive family history. Among them, 30 patients had symptoms of peripheral nerve paralysis. Patients often presented with paroxysmal single limb weakness with (or) numbness (25/30), and some patients had paroxysmal unilateral recurrent laryngeal nerve (vagus nerve) paralysis (2/30). Physical examination revealed muscle weakness (23/29), hypoesthesia (9/29), weakened or absent ankle reflexes (20/29), distal limb muscle atrophy (8/29) and high arched feet (5/29). Most patients (26/30) could fully recover to normal after an acute attack. Thirty-one patients in our group underwent nervous electrophysiological examination, and showed multiple demyelinating peripheral neuropathies with both motor and sensory nerves involved. Most patients showed significantly prolonged distal motor latency (DML), mild to moderate nerve conduction velocity slowing, decreased amplitude of compound muscle action potential (CMAP) and sensory nerve action potential (SNAP), and sometimes with conduction block. Nerve motor conduction velocity was (48.5±5.5) m/s, and the CMAP amplitude was (8.4±5.1) mV. Nerve sensory conduction velocity was (37.4±10.5) m/s, and the SNAP amplitude was (14.4±15.2) μV. There were 24 families, 23 of whom had the classical PMP22 deletion, the last one had a heterozygous pathogenic variant in the PMP22 gene sequence (c.434delT). By reviewing clinical data and genetic testing results of reported 1 734 HNPP families, we found that heterozygous deletion mutation of PMP22 was the most common pathogenic mutation of HNPP (93.4%). Other patients were caused by PMP22 small mutations (4.0%), PMP22 heterozygous gross deletions (0.6%), and PMP22 complex rearrangements (0.1%). Thirty-eight sorts of HNPP-related PMP22 small mutations was reported, including missense mutations (10/38), nonsense mutations (4/38), base deletion mutations (13/38), base insertion mutations (3/38), and shear site mutations (8/38). HNPP patients most often presented with episodic painless single nerve palsy. Common peroneal nerve, ulnar nerve, and brachial plexus nerve were the most common involved nerves, accounting for about 75%. Only eighteen patients with cranial nerve involved was reported. CONCLUSIONS Heterozygous deletion mutation of PMP22 is the most common pathogenic mutation of HNPP. Patients is characterized by episodic and painless peripheral nerve paralysis, mainly involving common peroneal nerve, ulnar nerve, and other peripheral nerves. Nervous electrophysiological examination has high sensitivity and specificity for the diagnosis of HNPP, which is manifested by extensive demyelinating changes. For patients with suspected HNPP, nervous electrophysiological examination and PMP22-MLPA detection are preferred. Sanger sequencing or next generation sequencing can be considered to detect other mutations of PMP22.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Heme chloride (Hemin) is an in vitro purified form of natural heme and an important raw material for anti-anemia and antitumor drugs. This study aims to analyze the protective effect of Hemin on tissue damage in low-pressure oxygen chamber simulated plateau hypoxic mice, and explore its role in anti-plateau hypoxia. METHODS Thirty male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into a blank group, a positive drug group (acetazolomide, 200 mg/kg), a Hemin low-dose group (15 mg/kg), a Hemin medium-dose group (30 mg/kg), and a Hemin high-dose group (60 mg/kg) with intraperitoneal injection. The anti-hypoxic activity of Hemin was explored by atmospheric closed hypoxia experiment and the optimal dose was screened. Thirty-six male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into a blank group, a hypoxia group, a positive drug group, and a Hemin high-dose group. The plasma inflammatory factor levels and oxidative stress indicators malondialdehyde (MDA), glutataione (GSH), and superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels of myocardium, brain, lung, and liver tissues were measured in different groups with hypoxia for 24 h. The degree of histopathological damage of mice was observed with HE staining. The degree of protection of Hemin against tissue hypoxia injury was detected with the hypoxia probe piperidazole. RESULTS Compared with the blank group, the survival time of mice in the positive drug group, the Hemin medium-dose group, and high-dose group was significantly extended (all P<0.05), with the highest prolongation rate in the Hemin high-dose group. Compared with the hypoxia group, mice in the Hemin high-dose group showed a significant increase in SOD level and GSH content of brain tissue, and a significant decrease in MDA content of lung tissue (all P<0.05). The results of HE staining and hypoxia probe showed that Hemin had a significant protective effect on the damage of liver, heart, brain and lung tissues of mice with hypoxia, and the most obvious effect on that of the brain tissue. CONCLUSIONS Hemin has an effect of improvement on oxidative stress and inflammatory response caused by hypoxia, and has obvious protective effect on tissue damage caused by hypoxia.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Currently, patients with pre-exsiting donor-specific antibody (DSA) are prone to antibody-mediated rejection (AMR) after surgery and are at a relatively high risk of postoperative complications and graft failure. The risk of postoperative complications and graft failure is relatively high. This study aims to discuss the clinical outcome of DSA-positive kidney transplantation and analyze the role and safety of preoperative pretreatment in DSA-positive kidney transplantation, providing single-center treatment experience for DSA-positive kidney transplantation. METHODS We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 15 DSA-positive kidney transplants in the Department of Renal Transplantation of First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from August 2017 to July 2022. Eight cases were organ donation after citizen's death (DCD) kidney transplant recipients, of which 3 cases in the early stage were not treated with preoperative desensitisation therapy (DCD untreated group, n=3), and 5 recipients were treated with preoperative rituximab desensitisation (DCD preprocessing group, n=5). The remaining 7 cases were living related donors recipients (LRD) who received preoperative desensitisation treatment with rituximab and plasma exchange (LRD preprocessing group, n=7). We observed and recorded the incidence of complications with changes in renal function and DSA levels in the recipients and the survival of the recipients and transplanted kidneys at 1, 3 and 5 years, and to compare the differences in recovery and postoperative complications between 3 groups. RESULTS All 15 recipients were positive for preoperative panel reactive antibody (PRA) and DSA and were treated with methylprednisolone+rabbit anti-human thymocyte immunoglobulin induction before kidney transplantation. DCD untreated group all suffered from DSA level rebound, delayed renal graft function (DGF) and rejection reaction after surgery. After the combined treatment, DSA level was reduced and the graft renal function returned to normal. The DCD preprocessing group were all without antibody rebound, 1 recipient developed DGF and the renal function returned to normal after plasmapheresis, and the remaining 4 recipients recovered their renal function to normal within 2 weeks after the operation. In the LRD preprocessing group, 2 cases had antibody rebound and 1 case had rejection, but all of them recovered to normal after treatment, and DSA was maintained at a low level or even disappeared. The incidence of DGF and rejection in the DCD untreated group were significantly higher than that in the DCD preprocessing group and the LRD preprocessing group; and there were no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative haematuria, proteinuria, bacterial and fungal infections, and BK virus infection between the 3 groups (all P>0.05). A total of 11 of the 15 recipients were followed up for more than 1 year, 6 for more than 3 years, and 1 for more than 5 years, and the survival rates of both the recipients and the transplanted kidneys were 100%. CONCLUSIONS Effective preoperative pretreatment with desensitization therapy can effectively prevent antibody rebound in DSA-positive kidney transplantation and reduce perioperative complications.

Abstract
Insomnia is one of the most common accompanying symptoms of depression, with both sharing highly overlapping molecular pathways. The same pathological changes can trigger comorbidity of insomnia and depression, which further forms a vicious cycle with the involvement of more mechanisms and disease progression. Thus, understanding the potential interaction mechanisms between insomnia and depression is critical for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Comorbidity genetic factors, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, along with circadian rhythms of cortisol and the brain reward mechanism, are important ways in contributing to the comorbidity occurrence and development. However, owing to lack of pertinent investigational data, intricate molecular mechanisms necessitate further elaboration. Synaptic plasticity is a solid foundation for neural homeostasis. Pathological alterations of depression and insomnia may perturb the production and release of neurotransmitter, dendritic spine remodeling and elimination, which converges and reflects in aberrant synaptic dynamics. Hence, the introduction of synaptic plasticity research route and the construction of a comprehensive model of depression and insomnia comorbidity can provide new ideas for clinical depression insomnia comorbidity treatment plans.

Abstract
Antipsychotic medications are commonly used to treat schizophrenia, but they can have negative effects on lipid metabolism, leading to an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, reduced life expectancy, and difficulties with treatment adherence. The specific mechanisms by which antipsychotics disrupt lipid metabolism are not well understood. Sterol regulatory element-binding proteins (SREBPs) are important transcriptional factors that regulate lipid metabolism. Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9), a gene regulated by SREBPs, plays a critical role in controlling levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and has become a focus of research on lipid-lowering drugs. Recent studies have shown that antipsychotic drugs can affect lipid metabolism through the SREBP/PCSK9 pathway. A deep understanding of the mechanism for this pathway in antipsychotic drug-related metabolic abnormalities will promote the prevention of lipid metabolism disorders in patients with schizophrenia and the development and application of new drugs.

Abstract
Engaging in physical activity and exercise is one of the important ways for health promotion. However, older adults are often physically inactive or have a sedentary lifestyle and have poor compliance with physical activity. Exergaming program with their unique advantages could make physical activity a more joyful experience and motivate older adults to participate in physical activity. Promoting older adults' health through engagement in exergaming programs is still in the early stage, and still faces many challenges. Analyzing the challenges and difficulties faced by exergaming program for older adults and exploring in-depth strategies to promote the implementation of exergaming program for older adults are of great significance for the design and implementation of sports games for older adults.

Abstract
Incomplete radiofrequency ablation (IRFA) triggers mild protective autophagy in residual tumor cells and results in an immunosuppressive microenvironment. This accelerates the recurrence of residual tumors and causes resistance to anti-PD-1/PDL1 therapy, which bringing a great clinical challenge in residual tumors immunotherapy. Mild autophagy activation can promote cancer cell survival while further amplification of autophagy contributes to immunogenic cell death (ICD). To this regard, we constructed active targeting zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) nanoparticles (NPs) loaded with STF62247 or both STF62247 and BMS202, namely STF62247@ZIF-8/PEG-FA (SZP) or STF62247-BMS202@ZIF-8/PEG-FA (SBZP) NPs. We found that SZP NPs inhibited proliferation and stimulated apoptosis of residual tumor cells exposed to sublethal heat stress in an autophagy-dependent manner. Further results discovered that SZP NPs could amplify autophagy in residual tumor cells and evoke their ICD, which dramatically boosted the maturation of dendritic cells (DCs). Through vaccination experiments, we found for the first time that vaccination with heat + SZP treatment could efficiently suppress the growth of new tumors and establish long-term immunological memory. Furthermore, SBZP NPs could remarkably promote the ICD of residual tumor cells, obviously activate the anti-tumor immune microenvironment, and significantly inhibit the growth of residual tumors. Thus, amplified autophagy coupled with anti-PD-1/PDL1 therapy is potentially a novel strategy for treating residual tumors after IRFA.

Abstract
Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a subtype of breast cancer with the highest degree of malignancy and the worst prognosis. The application of immunotherapy for TNBC is limited. This study was to verify the potential application of chimeric antigen receptor-T cells (CAR-T cells) targeting CD24 named as 24BBz in treatment of TNBC. 24BBz was constructed by lentivirus infection and then was co-culture with breast cancer cell lines to evaluate the activation, proliferation and cytotoxicity of engineered T cells. The anti-tumor activity of 24BBz was verified in the subcutaneous xenograft model of nude mice. We found that CD24 gene was significantly up-regulated in breast cancer (BRCA), especially in TNBC. 24BBz showed antigen-specific activation and dose-dependent cytotoxicity against CD24-positive BRCA tumor cells in vitro. Furthermore, 24BBz showed significant anti-tumor effect in CD24-positive TNBC xenografts and T cells infiltration in tumor tissues, while some T cells exhibited exhaustion. No pathological damage of major organs was found during the treatment. This study proved that CD24-specific CAR-T cells have potent anti-tumor activity and potential application value in treatment of TNBC.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Previous studies have reported that renal denervation (RDN) prevents the occurrence of atrial fibrillation (AF) related to obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). However, the effect of RDN on chronic OSA (COSA)-induced AF is still unclear. METHODS Healthy beagle dogs were randomized into the OSA group (sham RDN + OSA), OSA-RDN group (RDN + OSA), and CON group (sham RDN + sham OSA). The COSA model was built via repeated apnea and ventilation rounds for 4 h each day lasting 12 weeks, and RDN was employed after 8 weeks of modeling. All dogs were implanted Reveal LINQ™ to detect spontaneous AF and AF burden. Circulating levels of norepinephrine, angiotensin II, and interleukin-6 were determined at baseline and end of the study. In addition, measurements of the left stellate ganglion, AF inducibility, and effective refractory period were conducted. The bilateral renal artery and cortex, left stellate ganglion, and left atrial tissues were collected for molecular analysis. RESULTS Of 18 beagles, 6 were randomized to each of the groups described above. RDN remarkably attenuated ERP prolongation and AF episodes and duration. RDN markedly suppressed the LSG hyperactivity and atrial sympathetic innervation, decreased the serum concentrations of Ang II and IL-6, further inhibited fibroblast-to-myofibroblast transformation via the TGF-β1/Smad2/3/α-SMA pathway, and reduced the expression of MMP-9, thus decreasing OSA-induced AF. CONCLUSIONS RDN may reduce AF by inhibiting sympathetic hyperactivity and AF in a COSA model.

Abstract
Liposomal doxorubicin exhibits stronger drug accumulation at the tumor site due to the Enhanced Permeability and Retention (EPR) effect. However, the prognosis for the patient is poor due to this drug's lack of targeting and tumor metastasis during treatment. Vascular epidermal growth factor receptor (VEGFR2) plays an important role in angiogenesis and cancer metastasis. To enhance antitumor efficacy of PEGylated liposomal doxorubicin, we constructed a VEGFR2-targeted and doxorubicin-loaded immunoliposome (Lipo-DOX-C00) by conjugating a VEGFR2-specific, single chain antibody fragment to DSPE-PEG2000-MAL, and then we inserted the antibody-conjugated polymer into liposomal doxorubicin (Lipo-DOX). The immunoliposome was formed uniformly with high affinity for VEGFR2. In vitro, Lipo-DOX-C00 enhanced doxorubicin internalization into LLC and 4T1 cells compared with non-conjugated, liposomal doxorubicin. In vivo, Lipo-DOX-C00 delivered DOX to tumor tissues effectively, which exhibited an improved antitumor and anti-metastasis efficacy in both LLC subcutaneous tumor models and 4T1 tumor models. In addition, the combined therapy of a VEGFR2-MICA bispecific antibody (JZC01) and Lipo-DOX-C00 achieved enhanced inhibition of cancer growth and metastasis due to activation of the immune system. Our study provides a promising approach to clinical application of liposomal doxorubicin.

Abstract
The covalent organic frameworks (COFs) membrane with ordered and confined one-dimensional channel has been considered as a promising material to harvest the salinity gradient energy from the seawater and river water. However, the application of the COFs in the field of energy conversion still faces the challenges in membrane preparation. Herein, energy harvesting is achieved by taking advantage of a COFs membrane where TpDB-HPAN is synthesized via layer-by-layer self-assembly strategy at room temperature. The carboxy-rich TpDB COFs can be expediently assembled onto the substrate with an environmental-friendly method. The increased open-circuit voltage (Voc ) endows TpDB-HPAN membrane with a remarkable energy harvesting performance. More importantly, the application perspective is also illuminated by the cascade system. With the advantages of green synthesis, the TpDB-HPAN membrane can be considered as a low-cost and promising candidate for energy conversion.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To develop a predictive model using conventional ultrasound combined with CEUS to identify thoracic wall recurrence after mastectomy. METHODS A total of 162 women with pathologically confirmed thoracic wall lesions (benign 79, malignant 83; median size 1.9 cm, ranging 0.3-8.0 cm) underwent a mastectomy and were checked by both conventional ultrasound and CEUS and were retrospectively included. Logistic regression models of B-mode ultrasound (US) and color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI) with or without CEUS were established to assess the thoracic wall recurrence after mastectomy. The established models were validated by bootstrap resampling. The models were evaluated using calibration curve. The clinical benefit of models were assessed using decision curve analysis. RESULTS The area under the receiver characteristic was 0.823 (95% CI: 0.76, 0.88) for model using US alone, 0.898 (95% CI: 0.84, 0.94) for model using US combined with CDFI, and 0.959 (95% CI: 0.92, 0.98) for model using US combined with both CDFI and CEUS. The diagnostic performance of the US combined with CDFI was significantly higher than that of the US alone (0.823 vs 0.898, p = 0.002) but significantly lower than that of the US combined with both CDFI and CEUS (0.959 vs 0.898, p < 0.001). Moreover, the unnecessary biopsy rate of the US combined with both CDFI and CEUS was significantly lower than that of the US combined with CDFI (p = 0.037). CONCLUSIONS Compared to B-mode ultrasound and CDFI, CEUS improves the diagnostic performance to evaluate thoracic wall recurrence after mastectomy. KEY POINTS • CUES is an effective supplementary method for US in the diagnosis of thoracic wall recurrence after mastectomy. • CEUS combined with both US and CDFI can significantly improve the accuracy of diagnosis of thoracic wall recurrence after mastectomy. • CEUS combined with both US and CDFI can reduce the rate of unnecessary biopsy of thoracic wall lesions after mastectomy.

Abstract
PURPOSE To define the localization and configuration of the elastic fibers of the cricoarytenoid ligament (CAL) and their relationship with the cricoarytenoid joint (CAJ) capsule. METHODS Twenty-four CAJs from twelve cadavers were analyzed using Verhoeff-Van Gieson staining, and immunohistochemistry methods. This is a prospective study. RESULTS The CAL was classified into two parts: an extra-capsular anterior-CAL and an intra-capsular posterior-CAL. The both parts contained rich elastic fibers. The elastic fibers of the anterior-CAL were orientated in both anterior-posterior and superior-inferior directions and under a relaxation status, whereas the elastic fibers of the posterior-CAL were arranged in a lateral-medial direction and under a taut status. CONCLUSIONS This study defined the fine configuration of the CAL, particularly its elastic fibers, which may help us to better understand the biomechanics of the CAJ motions, and differential diagnosis of CAJ disorders. The results of the study re-confirm that the P-CAL is the key posterior-lateral passive force to limit the mobility of the muscular process of the arytenoid cartilage and stabilize the CAJ, whereas the A-CAL may protect the CAJ from an over superior-lateral-posterior motion. Abstract
As a crucial regulatory molecule in the context of vascular stenosis, transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β), plays a pivotal role in its initiation and progression. TGF-β, a member of the TGF-β superfamily, can bind to the TGF-β receptor and transduce extracellular to intracellular signals through canonical Smad dependent or noncanonical signaling pathways to regulate cell growth, proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Restenosis remains one of the most challenging problems in cardiac, cerebral, and peripheral vascular disease worldwide. The mechanisms for occurrence and development of restenosis are diverse and complex. The TGF-β pathway exhibits diversity across various cell types. Hence, clarifying the specific roles of TGF-β within different cell types and its precise impact on vascular stenosis provides strategies for future research in the field of stenosis.

OBJECTIVES Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) has the highest mortality and disability rates among various subtypes of stroke. Previous studies have shown that the gut microbiome (GM) is closely related to the risk factors and pathological basis of ICH. This study aims to explore the causal effect of GM on ICH and the potential mechanisms. METHODS Genome wide association study (GWAS) data on GM and ICH were obtained from Microbiome Genome and International Stroke Genetics Consortium. Based on the GWAS data, we first performed Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to evaluate the causal association between GM and ICH. Then, a conditional false discovery rate (cFDR) method was conducted to identify the pleiotropic variants. RESULTS MR analysis showed that Pasteurellales, Pasteurellaceae, and Haemophilus were negatively correlated with the risk of ICH, whileVerrucomicrobiae, Verrucomicrobiales, Verrucomicrobiaceae, Akkermansia, Holdemanella, and LachnospiraceaeUCG010 were positively correlated with ICH. By applying the cFDR method, 3 pleiotropic loci (rs331083, rs4315115, and rs12553325) were found to be associated with both GM and ICH. CONCLUSIONS There is a causal association and pleiotropic variants between GM and ICH.

Abstract
Gray mold is a destructive disease caused by Botrytis cinerea, a pervasive plant pathogen, which poses a threat to both tomato growth and postharvest storage. The utilization of induced resistance presents a potential strategy for combating plant pathogenic attacks. ZNC (zhinengcong), an extract derived from the endophytic fungus Paecilomyces variotii, has been discovered to play a vital role in preventing diverse forms of bacterial infections. Nevertheless, the precise mechanism behind its ability to enhance tomato resistance to fungi remains unclear. In this study, we found that the exogenous spraying of ZNC could significantly improve the resistance of tomato plants to B. cinerea. The results of both the metabolomic analysis and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) demonstrated that tomato plants responded to ZNC treatment by accumulating high levels of rutin. Additional transcriptome analysis uncovered that rutin enhances tomato resistance possible by initiating the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and phosphorylation of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MPKs) related genes expression during the initial phase of invasion by B. cinerea. In addition, we also found that rutin might activate plant immunity by eliciting ethylene (ET) and jasmonic acid (JA)-mediated pathways. Therefore, plant immune inducer ZNC and rutin has bright application prospects and high utilization value to control gray mold.

Abstract
17-4PH martensitic steel is usually used as valve stems in nuclear power plants and it suffers from thermal aging embrittlement due to long-time service in a high-temperature and high-pressure environment. Here, we characterized the evolution of microstructures at the nano-scale in 17-4PH steel by in situ small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) with a thermo-mechanically coupled loading device. The device could set different temperatures and tensile so that an in situ SANS experiment could dynamically characterize the process of nanoscale structural changes. The results showed that with increasing thermal aging time, the ε-Cu phase precipitates and grows as the temperature is 475 °C and 590 °C, and the ε-Cu phase is spherical at 475 °C but became elongated cylinders at 590 °C. Moreover, the loading stress could aid in the growth of the ε-Cu phase at 475 °C.

Abstract
Leukemia complicated with Mucor and Aspergillus coinfection is very rare, which is difficult to diagnose, and life-threatening. The clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment in a child with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), who developed mucormycosis and aspergillus coinfection after chemotherapy, was reported. This case was a 12-year-old boy who presented with fever and cough during chemotherapy. Rhizomucor pusillus and Aspergillus flavus were detected in his blood, cerebrospinal fluid and alveolar lavage fluid by metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS). Amphotericin B, posaconazole, and voriconazole were successively used for antifungal therapy. Skin debridement, bronchoalveolar lavage and local perfusion under bronchoscopy were performed. The infection of children was well controlled. The clinical manifestations of leukemia with mixed fungal infection are non-specific. The disease progresses rapidly and is prone to spread. Early diagnosis and treatment should be carried out. Combined antifungal therapy is recommended, and surgery is helpful to improve the patient's condition.
