Abstract
BACKGROUND To establish a comprehensive diagnostic model for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSDs) based on laboratory indicators and clinical data. METHODS A retrospective method was used to query the medical records of patients with NMOSD from January 2019 to December 2021. At the same time, clinical data of other neurological diseases were also collected for comparison. Clinical data of the NMOSD group and non-NMOSD group were analyzed, and the diagnostic model was established based on these data. In addition, the model was evaluated and verified by the receiver operating curve. RESULTS A total of 73 patients with NMOSD were included, and the ratio of males to females was 1:3.06. The indicators that showed differences between the NMOSD group and non NMOSD group included neutrophils (P = 0.0438), PT (P = 0.0028), APTT (P < 0.0001), CK (P = 0.002), IBIL (P = 0.0181), DBIL (P < 0.0001), TG (P = 0.0078), TC (P = 0.0117), LDL-C (P = 0.0054), ApoA1 (P = 0.0123), ApoB (P = 0.0217), TPO antibody (P = 0.012), T3 (P = 0.0446), B lymphocyte subsets (P = 0.0437), urine sg (P = 0.0123), urine pH (P = 0.0462), anti-SS-A antibody (P = 0.0036), RO-52 (P = 0.0138), CSF simplex virus antibody I-IGG (P = 0.0103), anti-AQP4 antibody (P < 0.0001), and anti-MOG antibody (P = 0.0036). Logistic regression analysis showed that changes in ocular symptoms, anti-SSA antibody, anti-TPO antibody, B lymphocyte subsets, anti-AQP4 antibody, anti-MOG antibody, TG, LDL, ApoB, and APTT had a significant impact on diagnosis. The AUC of the combined analysis was 0.959. The AUC of the new ROC for AQP4- and MOG- antibody negative NMOSD was 0.862. CONCLUSIONS A diagnostic model was successfully established, which can play an important role in differential diagnosis of NMOSD.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) Traditional methods of radiotherapy positioning have shortcomings such as fragile skin-markers, additional doses and lack of information integration. Emerging technologies may provide alternatives for the relevant clinical practice. We proposed a noninvasive radiotherapy positioning method integrating augmented reality (AR) and optical surface, and evaluated its feasibility in clinical workflow. MATERIALS/METHODS AR and structured light-based surface were integrated to implement the coarse-to-precise positioning through two coherent steps, i) the AR-based coarse guidance. To implement quality assurance, recognition of face and pattern was used for patient authentication, case association and accessory validation in AR scenes. The holographic images reconstructed from simulation computed tomography (CT) images, guided the initial posture correction by virtual-real alignment. ii) optical surface-based precise verification. The point clouds were fused, with the calibration and pose estimation of structured light cameras, and segmented according to the preset regions of interest (ROIs). The global-to-local registration for cross-source point clouds was achieved to calculate couch shifts in 6 degrees-of-freedom (DoF), which were ultimately transmitted to AR scenes. The evaluation based on phantom and human-body (4 volunteers) included, i) quality assurance workflow, ii) errors of both steps and correlation analysis, and iii) receiver operating characteristic (ROC). RESULTS The maximum errors in phantom evaluation were 3.4±2.5 mm in Vrt and 1.4±1.0° in Pitch for the coarse guidance step, while 1.6±0.9 mm in Vrt and 0.6±0.4° in Pitch for the precise verification step. The Pearson correlation coefficients between precise verification and cone beam CT (CBCT) results were distributed in the interval [0.81, 0.85]. In ROC analysis, the areas under the curve (AUC) were 0.87 and 0.89 for translation and rotation respectively. In human body-based evaluation, the errors of thorax and abdomen (T&A) were significantly greater than those of head and neck (H&N) in Vrt (2.6±1.3 vs. 1.7±1.1, p<0.01), Lng (2.4±1.3 vs. 1.4±0.1, p<0.01) and Rtn (0.8±0.5 vs. 0.6±0.4, p = 0.03) while relatively similar in Lat (1.7±1.0 vs. 1.9±1.1, p = 0.13). CONCLUSION The combination of AR and optical surface has utility and feasibility for patient positioning, in terms of both safety and accuracy.

Abstract
Background To investigate the factors associated with follow-up CSF cultures (FUCCs) in post-neurosurgical patients with gram-negative bacterial meningitis/encephalitis and the effect of FUCCs on treatment management and patient outcomes. Methods This single-centered retrospective cohort study enrolled post-neurosurgical patients with gram-negative bacterial meningitis/encephalitis at a tertiary-care university hospital between 2012 and 2022. The risk factors for 28-day mortality were evaluated using multivariate Cox analysis. FUCC-related risk factors were also analyzed. Results Among the 844 enrolled patients, 504 (59.7%) underwent FUCC, and FUCC was found to be associated with lower rates of both all-cause (hazard ratio (HR) 0.391; 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.235-0.651; p<0.001) and attributable mortality (HR 0.463; 95% CI, 0.239-0.897; p=0.023) in Post-neurosurgical patients diagnosed with Gram-negative bacterial meningitis/encephalitis. Moreover, the results of the study underscored that patients with persistent gram-negative bacterial meningitis/encephalitis had a lower all-cause/attributable short-term survival rate according to 28-day mortality Kaplan-Meier analysis (P=0.001/0.006). Conclusion Performing FUCC has been demonstrated to lower mortality rates in Post-neurosurgical patients suffering from Gram-negative bacterial meningitis/encephalitis. The higher mortality rate observed in patients with persistent gram-negative bacterial meningitis/encephalitis suggests that performing FUCC is a crucial component of proper patient care and management, and is therefore recommended for use by clinicians as a standard practice. This finding underscores the significance of consistent implementation of FUCC in the management and prognosis of patients with Post-neurosurgical infections.

Abstract
Objectives To analyze the differences in laboratory data between patients with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD). Methods The study included 26 MOGAD patients who visited Beijing Tiantan Hospital from 2018 to 2021. MS and NMOSD patients who visited the clinic during the same period were selected as controls. Relevant indicators were compared between the MOGAD group and the MS/NMOSD groups, and the diagnostic performance of meaningful markers was assessed. Results The MOGAD group showed a slight female preponderance of 57.7%, with an average onset age of 29.8 years. The absolute and relative counts of neutrophils were higher in the MOGAD group than in the MS group, while the proportion of lymphocytes was lower. The cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) IgG level, IgG index, 24-h IgG synthesis rate, and positive rate of oligoclonal bands (OCB) were lower in MOGAD patients than in the MS group. The area under ROC curve (AUC) was 0.939 when combining the relative lymphocyte count and IgG index. Compared to the NMOSD group, the MOGAD group had higher levels of serum complement C4 and lower levels of serum IgG. The AUC of serum C4 combined with FT4 was 0.783. Conclusion Statistically significant markers were observed in the laboratory data of MOGAD patients compared to MS/NMOSD patients. The relative lymphocyte count combined with IgG index had excellent diagnostic efficacy for MOGAD and MS, while serum C4 combined with FT4 had better diagnostic efficacy for MOGAD and NMOSD.

Abstract
The colored calla lily is an ornamental floral plant native to southern Africa, belonging to the Zantedeschia genus of the Araceae family. We generated a high-quality chromosome-level genome of the colored calla lily, with a size of 1,154 Mb and a contig N50 of 42 Mb. We anchored 98.5% of the contigs (1,137 Mb) into 16 pseudo-chromosomes, and identified 60.18% of the sequences (694 Mb) as repetitive sequences. Functional annotations were assigned to 95.1% of the predicted protein-coding genes (36,165). Additionally, we annotated 469 miRNAs, 1,652 tRNAs, 10,033 rRNAs, and 1,677 snRNAs. Furthermore, Gypsy-type LTR retrotransposons insertions in the genome are the primary factor causing significant genome size variation in Araceae species. This high-quality genome assembly provides valuable resources for understanding genome size differences within the Araceae family and advancing genomic research on colored calla lily.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels are associated with serum lipid concentrations in the general nonpregnant population. Here, we aimed to establish trimester-specific reference intervals and to explore the associations of their variations within the specific reference intervals during pregnancy. METHODS Trimester-specific reference intervals were established according to the Clinical and Laboratory Standard Institute EP28-A3c guidelines using a direct sampling method based on a large prospective cohort. After making one-to-one matches, correlation analyses between TSH and lipid index levels, especially within the reference intervals, were conducted. RESULT A total of 1648 pregnant women for TSH and 2045 subjects for lipids were recruited to establish the trimester-specific reference intervals. The upper reference limit (90% confidence interval) of TSH for pregnant women in the first trimester is 3.95 (3.66-4.29) mIU/L, which is very close to the default value (4.0 mIU/L) recommended by the American Thyroid Association in 2017. Apart from triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, TSH levels were positively associated with the serum concentrations of total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (non-HDL-C), and remnant cholesterol (RC) either in the entire range or within the specific reference intervals. Of note, the positive correlations between TSH and non-HDL-C and RC were, albeit similarly weak (r < 0.25), relatively more robust (P < .001). CONCLUSION In this study, we showed positive correlations between TSH and lipid components within trimester-specific reference intervals, highlighting the need for the integrated management of pregnant women over age 35 and with nonoptimal lipid status in China.

Abstract
Breast cancer histopathological image automatic classification can reduce pathologists workload and provide accurate diagnosis. However, one challenge is that empirical datasets are usually imbalanced, resulting in poorer classification quality compared with conventional methods based on balanced datasets. The recently proposed bilateral branch network (BBN) tackles this problem through considering both representation and classifier learning to improve classification performance. We firstly apply bilateral sampling strategy to imbalanced breast cancer histopathological image classification and propose a meta-adaptive-weighting-based bilateral multi-dimensional refined space feature attention network (MAW-BMRSFAN). The model is composed of BMRSFAN and MAWN. Specifically, the refined space feature attention module (RSFAM) is based on convolutional long short-term memories (ConvLSTMs). It is designed to extract refined spatial features of different dimensions for image classification and is inserted into different layers of classification model. Meanwhile, the MAWN is proposed to model the mapping from a balanced meta-dataset to imbalanced dataset. It finds suitable weighting parameter for BMRSFAN more flexibly through adaptively learning from a small amount of balanced dataset directly. The experiments show that MAW-BMRSFAN performs better than previous methods. The recognition accuracy of MAW-BMRSFAN under four different magnifications still is higher than 80% even when unbalance factor is 16, indicating that MAW-BMRSFAN can make ideal performance under extreme imbalanced conditions.

Abstract
A novel breast ultrasound tomography system based on a circular array of capacitive micromechanical ultrasound transducers (CMUT) has broad application prospects. However, the images produced by this system are not suitable as input for the training phase of the super-resolution (SR) reconstruction algorithm. To solve the problem, this paper proposes an improved medical image super-resolution (MeSR) method based on the sparse domain. First, we use the simultaneous algebraic reconstruction technique (SART) with high imaging accuracy to reconstruct the image into a training image in a sparse domain model. Secondly, we denoise and enhance the contrast of the SART images to obtain improved detail images before training the dictionary. Then, we use the original detail image as the guide image to further process the improved detail image. Therefore, a high-precision dictionary was obtained during the testing phase and applied to filtered back projection SR reconstruction. We compared the proposed algorithm with previously reported algorithms in the Shepp Logan model and the model based on the CMUT background. The results showed significant improvements in peak signal-to-noise ratio, entropy, and average gradient compared to previously reported algorithms. The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed MeSR method can use noisy reconstructed images as input for the training phase of the SR algorithm and produce excellent visual effects.

Abstract
Objective This study aimed to investigate the relationship between anti-MDA5 titer and type I IFN signature in patients with MDA5+ DM. Methods We explored the transcriptome profiling of PBMCs in MDA5+ DM patients with high-titer of antibody at disease onset or relapse and normal low-titer after treatment and healthy donors. Subsequently, we revealed the dynamic relationship between serum type I IFN scores and antibody titers. Result Differentially expressed genes in MDA5+ DM patients were enriched for related pathways and biological functions linked to viruses and cytokines compared to healthy donors. Similar differences remained pooled between the high-titer and low-titer group, and type I-specific interferon response genes showed upregulation in high-titer group. Significant correlations were found between anti-MDA5 titers and type I IFN scores (r = 0.50, P< 0.001). Contemporaneous anti-MDA5 titers revealed to be significantly higher in the group with ultra-high type I IFN scores (vs. high group, P = 0.027; vs. low group, P< 0.001). Longitudinal assessment of type I IFN scores and anti-MDA5 titers, including pre- and post-treatment changes at initial diagnosis and dynamic changes during treatment, presented an asynchrony between the two parameters in response to treatment. Conclusion Anti-MDA5 antibody titers correlated with type I IFN signature in patients with MDA5+ DM and they both changed dynamically but not synchronously over the course of treatment.

Abstract
Objective To assess the diagnostic efficacy of metagenomic next generation sequencing (mNGS) for proven invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA). Methods A total of 190 patients including 53 patients who had been diagnosed with proven IPA were retrospectively analyzed. Using the pathological results of tissue biopsy specimens as gold standard, we ploted the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve to determine the optimal cut-off value of mNGS species-specific read number (SSRN) of Aspergillus in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF)for IPA. Furthermore, we evaluated optimal cut-off value of mNGS SSRN in different populations. Results The optimal cut-off value of Aspergillus mNGS SSRN in BALF for IPA diagnosis was 2.5 for the whole suspected IPA population, and 1 and 4.5 for immunocompromised and diabetic patients, respectively. The accuracy of mNGS was 80.5%, 73.7% and 85.3% for the whole population, immunocompromised and diabetic patients, respectively. Conclusions The mNGS in BALF has a high diagnostic efficacy for proven IPA, superioring to Aspergillus culture in sputum and BALF and GM test in blood and BALF. However, the cut-off value of SSRN should be adjusted when in different population.

Abstract
Iron-dependent lipid peroxidation causes ferroptosis, a form of regulated cell death. Crucial steps in the formation of ferroptosis include the accumulation of ferrous ions (Fe2+) and lipid peroxidation, of which are controlled by glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4). Its crucial role in stopping the spread of cancer has been shown by numerous studies undertaken in the last ten years. Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is the process by which epithelial cells acquire mesenchymal characteristics. EMT is connected to carcinogenesis, invasiveness, metastasis, and therapeutic resistance in cancer. It is controlled by a range of internal and external signals and changes the phenotype from epithelial to mesenchymal like. Studies have shown that mesenchymal cancer cells tend to be more ferroptotic than their epithelial counterparts. Drug-resistant cancer cells are more easily killed by inducers of ferroptosis when they undergo EMT. Therefore, understanding the interaction between ferroptosis and EMT will help identify novel cancer treatment targets. In-depth discussion is given to the regulation of ferroptosis, the potential application of EMT in the treatment of cancer, and the relationships between ferroptosis, EMT, and signaling pathways associated with tumors. Invasion, metastasis, and inflammation in cancer all include ferroptosis and EMT. The goal of this review is to provide suggestions for future research and practical guidance for applying ferroptosis and EMT in clinical practice.

Abstract
Jet quenching is the process of color-charged partons losing energy via interactions with quark-gluon plasma droplets created in heavy-ion collisions. The collective expansion of such droplets is well described by viscous hydrodynamics. Similar evidence of collectivity is consistently observed in smaller collision systems, including pp and p+Pb collisions. In contrast, while jet quenching is observed in Pb+Pb collisions, no evidence has been found in these small systems to date, raising fundamental questions about the nature of the system created in these collisions. The ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider has measured the yield of charged hadrons correlated with reconstructed jets in 0.36 nb^{-1} of p+Pb and 3.6 pb^{-1} of pp collisions at 5.02 TeV. The yields of charged hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>0.5 GeV near and opposite in azimuth to jets with p_{T}^{jet}>30 or 60 GeV, and the ratios of these yields between p+Pb and pp collisions, I_{pPb}, are reported. The collision centrality of p+Pb events is categorized by the energy deposited by forward neutrons from the struck nucleus. The I_{pPb} values are consistent with unity within a few percent for hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>4 GeV at all centralities. These data provide new, strong constraints that preclude almost any parton energy loss in central p+Pb collisions.

Abstract
A search for a long-lived, heavy neutral lepton (N) in 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is reported. The N is produced via W→Nμ or W→Ne and decays into two charged leptons and a neutrino, forming a displaced vertex. The N mass is used to discriminate between signal and background. No signal is observed, and limits are set on the squared mixing parameters of the N with the left-handed neutrino states for the N mass range 3 GeV

Abstract
A test of CP invariance in Higgs boson production via vector-boson fusion has been performed in the H→γγ channel using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The optimal observable method is used to probe the CP structure of interactions between the Higgs boson and electroweak gauge bosons, as described by an effective field theory. No sign of CP violation is observed in the data. Constraints are set on the parameters describing the strength of the CP-odd component in the coupling between the Higgs boson and the electroweak gauge bosons in two effective field theory bases: d[over ˜] in the HISZ basis and c_{HW[over ˜]} in the Warsaw basis. The results presented are the most stringent constraints on CP violation in the coupling between Higgs and weak bosons. The 95% C.L. constraint on d[over ˜] is derived for the first time and the 95% C.L. constraint on c_{HW[over ˜]} has been improved by a factor of 5 compared to the previous measurement.

Abstract
Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) PTCSC3 is characterized as a tumor suppressor in thyroid cancer and glioma. The present study aimed to investigate the role of PTCSC3 in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). A total of 82 patients with TNBC were enrolled in the present study. The results showed that PTCSC3 was downregulated, while lncRNA MIR100HG was upregulated in tumor tissues compared with that in adjacent non-cancerous tissues of patients with TNBC. The follow-up study showed that low expression levels of PTCSC3 and high expression levels of MIR100HG were closely associated with poor survival of patients with TNBC. The expression levels of MIR100HG were decreased with the clinic stages of TNBC, while the expression levels of MIR100HG showed the opposite trend. Correlation analysis showed that the expression levels of PTCSC3 and MIR100HG were significantly correlated in both tumor tissues and adjacent non-cancerous tissues. The overexpression of PTCSC3 inhibited the expression level of MIR100HG in TNBC cells, while the expression level of PTCSC3 was unaffected. Cell Counting Kit-8 and Annexin V-FITC Apoptosis flow cytometry assays showed that overexpression of PTCSC3 led to inhibition, while overexpression of MIR100HG led to the promotion of TNBC cells viability and inhibited apoptosis of TNBC cells. In addition, overexpression of MIR100HG attenuated the effects of PTCSC3 overexpression on cancer cell viability. However, the overexpression of PTCSC3 did not affect cancer cell migration and invasion. Western-blot analysis showed that PTCSC3 suppressed viability and promoted apoptosis of TNBC cells through the Hippo signaling pathway. Thus, the present study demonstrated that lncRNA PTCSC3 inhibits cancer cell viability and promotes cancer cell apoptosis in TNBC by downregulating MIR100HG.

Abstract
The rapid and sensitive detection of trace-level viruses in a simple and reliable way is of great importance for epidemic prevention and control. Here, a multi-functionalized floating gate carbon nanotube field effect transistor (FG-CNT FET) based biosensor is reported for the single virus level detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen and RNA rapidly with a portable sensing platform. The aptamers functionalized sensors can detect SARS-CoV-2 antigens from unprocessed nasopharyngeal swab samples within 1 min. Meanwhile, enhanced by a multi-probe strategy, the FG-CNT FET-based biosensor can detect the long chain RNA directly without amplification down to single virus level within 1 min. The device, constructed with packaged sensor chips and a portable sensing terminal, can distinguish 10 COVID-19 patients from 10 healthy individuals in clinical tests both by the RNAs and antigens by a combination detection strategy with an combined overall percent agreement (OPA) close to 100%. The results provide a general and simple method to enhance the sensitivity of FET-based biochemical sensors for the detection of nucleic acid molecules and demonstrate that the CNT FG FET biosensor is a versatile and reliable integrated platform for ultrasensitive multibiomarker detection without amplification and has great potential for point-of-care (POC) clinical tests.

Abstract
The green fluorescent reporter gene was inserted into the gene interval of polymyxin resistant mcr-1-carrying plasmid (pSH13G841) by homologous recombination of suicide plasmid. At the same time, E. coli J53 with red fluorescent reporter gene was constructed. Using the ability of spontaneous conjugation of drug resistant plasmid (pSH13G841), pSH13G841-GFP plasmid was transferred into J53 RFP bacteria to construct a double fluorescent labeled donor bacterium. The two light-emitting systems could stably and spontaneously express fluorescence without mutual interference. The dual fluorescence report system constructed can be used for visual tracing horizontal transfer of mcr-1-carrying plasmid, the subsequent model can study the colonization, transfer and prognosis of drug-resistant bacteria/drug-resistant genes mcr-1 by using mouse in vivo imaging technology.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The comorbidities of either epilepsy or Tourette syndrome (TS) are heterogeneous. However, the co-occurrence of epilepsy and TS conditions is rarely encountered, let alone effective treatments that address both neurologic disorders at the same time. METHODS We report a 24-year-old female patient who was diagnosed with TLE and TS. She presented for seizure control. After evaluation with stereo-electroencephalography and electrocorticography monitoring, the patient underwent a resective surgery treatment and was followed for 9 months. RESULTS At the last follow-up, the patient remained seizure free and unexpectedly showed great improvement in TS symptoms and its psychiatric comorbidities. CONCLUSION This anecdotal case highlights the close association between TLE and TS and we suggest that epilepsy and TS share some common pathophysiologic mechanisms.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to explore the effects of different doses of recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) treatment on children with growth hormone deficiency (GHD). PATIENTS AND METHODS Medical records of 174 GHD patients admitted to our hospital from June 2019 to January 2022 were retrospectively evaluated. A total of 136 patients met the inclusion criteria, of which 70 received 0.1 U/ (kg·d) (low-dose group) and 66 received 0.2 U/ (kg·d) dose of rhGH treatment (high-dose group). Growth and development status [height, weight, height standard deviation (HtSDS), growth rate], bone age, bone density, speed of sound (SOS) as distal radius bone mass, biochemical indicators of growth and development [insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), insulin-like growth factor binding protein 3 (IGFBP-3)], growth hormone (GH) levels and incidence of adverse reactions were collected and compared between the two groups before and after one year of the treatment. RESULTS After the treatment, height, weight, HtSDS, and growth rate of the two groups increased compared to before the treatment and were significantly higher in the high-dose group than in the low-dose group (p<0.05). After one year of treatment, the following observations were made: the bone age of the two groups increased compared to the baseline values and was higher in the high-dose group compared to the low-dose group (p<0.05). The SOS of the two groups decreased but was significantly higher in the high-dose group compared to the low-dose group (p<0.05). Serum levels of IGF-1, IGFBP-3, and GH in both groups increased compared to the baseline values and were higher in the high-dose group than in the low-dose group (p<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the high-dose group (8.6%) and the low-dose group (6.1%) (p>0.05). CONCLUSIONS High-dose rhGH treatment for GHD is safe and can more effectively upregulate IGF-1, IGFBP-3, and GH, and promote the growth and development of children.

Abstract
The mechanisms of interaction between pulsed laser and materials are complex and indistinct, severely influencing the stability and quality of laser processing. This paper proposes an intelligent method based on the acoustic emission (AE) technique to monitor laser processing and explore the interaction mechanisms. The validation experiment is designed to perform nanosecond laser dotting on float glass. Processing parameters are set differently to generate various outcomes: ablated pits and irregular-shaped cracks. In the signal processing stage, we divide the AE signals into two bands, main and tail bands, according to the laser processing duration, to study the laser ablation and crack behavior, respectively. Characteristic parameters extracted by a method that combines framework and frame energy calculation of AE signals can effectively reveal the mechanisms of pulsed laser processing. The main band features evaluate the degree of laser ablation from the time and intensity scales, and the tail band characteristics demonstrate that the cracks occur after laser dotting. In addition, from the analysis of the parameters of the tail band very large cracks can be efficiently distinguished. The intelligent AE monitoring method was successfully applied in exploring the interaction mechanism of nanosecond laser dotting float glass and can be used in other pulsed laser processing fields.

Abstract
Introduction Despite recent advances, there are limited treatments available for acute asthma exacerbations. Here, we investigated the therapeutic potential of GGsTop, a γ-glutamyl transferase inhibitor, on the disease with a murine model of asthma exacerbation. Methods GGsTop was administered to mice that received lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and ovalbumin (OVA) challenges. Airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR), lung histology, mucus hypersecretion, and collagen deposition were analyzed to evaluate the hallmark features of asthma exacerbation. The level of proinflammatory cytokines and glutathione were determined with/without GGsTop. The transcription profiles were also examined. Results GGsTop attenuates hallmark features of the disease with a murine model of LPS and OVA driven asthma exacerbation. Airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR), mucus hypersecretion, collagen deposition, and expression of inflammatory cytokines were dramatically inhibited by GGsTop treatment. Additionally, GGsTop restored the level of glutathione. Using RNA-sequencing and pathway analysis, we demonstrated that the activation of LPS/NFκB signaling pathway in airway was downregulated by GGsTop. Interestingly, further analysis revealed that GGsTop significantly inhibited not only IFNγ responses but also the expression of glucocorticoid-associated molecules, implicating that GGsTop profoundly attenuates inflammatory pathways. Conclusions Our study suggests that GGsTop is a viable treatment for asthma exacerbation by broadly inhibiting the activation of multiple inflammatory pathways.

Abstract
Breast-conserving surgery (BCS) is the standard of care for early breast cancer patients, while the high ratio of reoperation is still a challenge due to inaccurate margin assessments. In patients with locally advanced or advanced breast cancer, radiotherapy is an important treatment for local control or improvement of quality of life. However, enhancing sensitization to radiotherapy is an unmet medical need. To solve the above clinical predicaments, a glutathione (GSH) exhausting virus-like silicon dioxide nanoprobe with Gd coating and folic acid (FA) modification is designed. After loading ICG in the mesopores, the VGd@ICG-FA probe efficiently targets tumor cells with high resolution, due to its virus-like morphology and folate acid anchoring. Especially, the fabricated nanoprobe enables the identification of tiny cancers and navigates precise surgery under NIR-II fluorescence imaging. Moreover, after the nanoprobes enter into the cytoplasm of cancer cells, tetrasulfide linkages in the silica framework are broken under the triggering of high GSH concentrations. In turn, the broken framework exhausts GSH to disrupt intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) homeostasis, and Gd produces more ROS under radiotherapy, further activating ferroptosis, and resulting in the enhancement of radiotherapy in breast cancer. Therefore, our nanoprobe exhibits tremendous potential as a NIR-II fluorescence imaging agent with no systematic side effects for precise cancer surgery and nanotherapeutics for boosting radiation sensitivity in future clinical translation of breast cancer.

Abstract
Sentinel lymph node imaging is important for breast tumor staging and prediction of postoperative metastasis. However, clinical sentinel lymph node imaging has limitations such as low specificity, low contrast, and short retention time. The combination of bio-conjugates chemistry and luminescence technology may achieve the specific targeting effect. In this research, we designed a dual-targeting composite nanoprobe (∼50 nm) using a metal-organic framework (MOF) as carrier, loaded with lanthanide and ICG, and combined with hyaluronic acid and folic acid to detect metastatic lymph nodes. The coupled hyaluronic acid and folic acid can target to the tumor cells and dentritic cells with a dual-targeting effect. The FA-HA/ZIF-8@ICG nanoprobes can accumulate rapidly in sentinel lymph node with a stronger luminescence intensity (1.6 times) than that of normal popliteal lymph nodes in vivo, thus distinguish metastatic sentinel lymph node from normal effectively. Furthermore, due to the MOF carrier, the integrated lanthanide and near-infrared dye by transferring the absorbed excitation energy from ICG to Nd3+ can enhance the signal-to-background ratio of NIR II imaging and have long retention time in vivo imaging. Finally, the FA-HA/ICG@Ln@ZIF-8 nanoplatform increased the penetration depth and contrast of imaging, prolonged the retention time, and achieved the sentinel lymph nodes surgical resection. This study has important implications for lymph node imaging and surgical navigation.
