Abstract
Traditional elastomers are mostly dielectrics; existing conductive elastomers are conductive composites with electric conductors. Herein, we introduce a series of ionic conducting elastomers (ICE) by salt in polymer strategy. The ICEs possess good stretchability, transparency and ionic conductivity. Moreover, the ICEs exhibit very high stability in air, under high temperature and voltage, with excellent adhesion properties and no corrosive effects to metal electrodes. Touch sensors are fabricated using these ICEs-impedance spectra and impedance complex plane are tested and analyzed to clarify different stimulus of the touch sensors. These ICEs provide possibilities for flexible electronics and soft machines.

Abstract
Abstract
Background. Yangzheng Xiaoji is a formulation of Chinese medicine and has been used in the treatment of solid cancer as an adjuvant to chemotherapy by reducing the side effects to the patient. There has been evidence to show that the medicine has a direct biological role in cancer cells. In the present study, we sought to investigate the potential effects of the medicine on breast cancer cells and in particular aimed to identify the key targets and molecular pathways contributing to the anti-cancer effect of the medicine.
Methods. Human breast cancer cell lines (BT549, BT20, MDA MB-231, MCF-7 and ZR 75-1) with varying invasiveness and receptor status were used. The soluble extract of Yangzheng Xiaoji, namely DME25 was used in the study. The effects of DME25 on the growth, toxicity and cellular migration were assessed. Signalling kinase changes were screened using kinase antibody array based array technologies. Kinases were also validated using phosphorylation based protein blotting.
Results. Of the five breast cancer cell lines tested, Yangzheng Xiaoji extract DME25 showed little cytotoxicity over a broad range of concentrations. However, DME25 were able to markedly reduce the migration of the panel of breast cancer tested, without being toxic. Triple negative cells responded in a similar fashion with other cells. It was also noted that the adhesion of these cells were also inhibited by DME25. Using a protein kinase array, it was shown that a number of kinase complexes were inhibited by the medicine, notable ones including EGFR family kinases (reduced by 35%), Janus protein kinases (JAK) (by 57%), and Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate (Rac1 or CDC42 GTPase) (by 49%) and Ribosomal protein S6 kinases (RSKs) (by 52%). Given the clinical significance of RSKs in human breast cancer, we further evaluated the role of RSK and RSK inhibitors in DME mediated cell functions and have demonstrated that both in triple negative breast cancer cells and receptor positive breast cancer cell lines, DME25 was able to synergistically enhance the effect of RSK2 inhibitor, SL1010-1, on the both the cellular migration and cell growth.
Conclusion. Yangzheng Xiaoji has a broad and direct effect on the migration of breast cancer, an effect unrelated to hormone receptor status and independent of cytotoxicity. The medicine appears to target kinase pathway, particularly for the RSK kinases, suggesting an important clinical implication in the treatment of breast cancer.

Abstract
The Ge-based compounds show great potential as replacements for traditional graphite anode in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). However, large volume changes and low conductivity of such materials result in a poor electrochemical cycling and rate performance. Herein, we fabricate a self-supported and three-dimensional (3D) sponge-like structure of interlinked Zn2GeO4 ultrathin nanosheets anchored vertically on a nickel foam (ZGO NSs@NF) via a simple hydrothermal process assisted by cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB). Such robust self-supported hybrid structures greatly improve the structural tolerance of the active materials and accommodate the volume variation that occurs during repeated electrochemical cycling. As expected, the self-supported ZGO NSs@NF composites demonstrate an excellent lithium storage with a high discharge capacity, a long cycling life, and a good rate capability when used as binder-free anodes for LIBs. A high reversible discharge capacity of 794 mA h g-1 is maintained after 500 cycles at 200 mA g-1, corresponding to 81% capacity retention of the second cycle. Further evaluation at a higher current density (2 A g-1) also delivers a reversible discharge capacity (537 mA h g-1) for this binder-free anode. This novel 3D structure of the self-supported ultrathin nanosheets on a conductive substrate, with its volume buffer effect and good interfacial contacts, can stimulate the progress of other energy-efficient technologies.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The current study investigated whether older drivers' driving patterns during a customized on-road driving task were representative of their real-world driving patterns. METHODS Two hundred and eight participants (male: 68.80%; mean age = 81.52 years, SD = 3.37 years, range = 76.00-96.00 years) completed a customized on-road driving task that commenced from their home and was conducted in their own vehicle. Participants' real-world driving patterns for the preceding 4-month period were also collected via an in-car recording device (ICRD) that was installed in each participant's vehicle. RESULTS During the 4-month period prior to completing the on-road driving task, participants' median real-world driving trip distance was 2.66 km (interquartile range [IQR] = 1.14-5.79 km) and their median on-road driving task trip distance was 4.41 km (IQR = 2.83-6.35 km). Most participants' on-road driving task trip distances were classified as representative of their real-world driving trip distances (95.2%, n = 198). CONCLUSIONS These findings suggest that most older drivers were able to devise a driving route that was representative of their real-world driving trip distance. Future research will examine whether additional aspects of the on-road driving task (e.g., average speed, proportion of trips in different speed zones) are representative of participants' real-world driving patterns.

Abstract
Hemorrhagic cystitis is one of the complications of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Treatment of hemorrhagic cystitis is difficult, especially in pediatric patients. A pediatric case of severe hemorrhagic cystitis after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation was treated in our hospital with arterial embolization combined with corticosteroid therapy because the conventional therapy was invalid for him. After the treatment, hemorrhagic cystitis was cured. During follow-up, the patient was in stable condition, with normal urine, blood cells returned to normal, bone marrow was in complete remission state, and disease-free survival for more than 8 months. Selective bladder arterial embolism followed by corticosteroid therapy successfully treated the patient.

Abstract
Carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX) is a hypoxia inducible factor 1-induced, cell surface pH regulating enzyme with an established role in tumor progression and clinical outcome. However, the molecular basis of CAIX-mediated tumor progression remains unclear. Here, we have utilized proximity dependent biotinylation (BioID) to map the CAIX ‘interactome’ in breast cancer cells in order to identify physiologically relevant CAIX-associating proteins with potential roles in tumor progression. High confidence proteins identified include metabolic transporters, β1 integrins, integrin-associated protein CD98hc and matrix metalloprotease 14 (MMP14). Biochemical studies validate the association of CAIX with α2β1 integrin, CD98hc and MMP14, and immunofluorescence microscopy demonstrates colocalization of CAIX with α2β1 integrin and MMP14 in F-actin/cofilin-positive lamellipodia/pseudopodia, and with MMP14 to cortactin/Tks5-positive invadopodia. Modulation of CAIX expression and activity results in significant changes in cell migration, collagen degradation and invasion. Mechanistically, we demonstrate that CAIX associates with MMP14 through potential phosphorylation residues within its intracellular domain, and that CAIX enhances MMP14-mediated collagen degradation by directly contributing hydrogen ions required for MMP14 catalytic activity. These findings establish hypoxia-induced CAIX as a novel metabolic component of cellular migration and invasion structures, and provide new mechanistic insights into its role in tumor cell biology.

Abstract
Nickel hydroxide (Ni(OH)2) has been regarded as a potential next-generation electrode material for supercapacitor owing to its attractive high theoretical capacitance. However, practical application of Ni(OH)2 is hindered by its lower cycling life. To overcome the inherent defects, herein we demonstrate a unique interconnected honeycomb structure of g-C3N4 and Ni(OH)2 synthesized by an environmentally friendly one-step method. In this work, g-C3N4 has excellent chemical stability and supports a perpendicular charge-transporting direction in charge-discharge process, facilitating electron transportation along that direction. The as-prepared composite exhibits higher specific capacities (1768.7 F g-1 at 7 A g-1 and 2667 F g-1 at 3 mV s-1, respectively) compared to Ni(OH)2 aggregations (968.9 F g-1 at 7 A g-1) and g-C3N4 (416.5 F g-1 at 7 A g-1), as well as better cycling performance (∼84% retentions after 4000 cycles). As asymmetric supercapacitor, g-C3N4@Ni(OH)2//graphene exhibits high capacitance (51 F g-1) and long cycle life (72% retentions after 8000 cycles). Moreover, high energy density of 43.1 Wh kg-1 and power density of 9126 W kg-1 has been achieved. This attractive performance reveals that g-C3N4@Ni(OH)2 with honeycomb architecture could find potential application as an electrode material for high-performance supercapacitors.

Abstract
Ultrathin cobalt ferrite nanosheets have been successfully assembled on the surface of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) via only adjusting the volume ratio of ethanol and deionized (DI) water and a post calcination treatment. The perpendicular ultrathin cobalt ferrite nanosheets supported by rGO sheets (CoFe2O4 NSs@rGO) can be obtained when the volume ratio of ethanol and DI water is 10:30. Correspondingly, the hierarchical porous films covering the total rGO sheets will be formed nanosheets. When evaluated as the electrodes for lithium ion batteries (LIBs) and supercapacitors (SCs), the resultant CoFe2O4 NSs@rGO hybrids exhibit highly enhanced electrochemical performance. Even after 200 charge-discharge cycles at 400 mA g-1, the electrodes as the anode material for LIBs still exhibit a reversible discharge capacity of 835.6 mAh g-1. In addition, this electrode for SCs also exhibits specific capacitance of ca 1120 F g-1 after 3000 cycles. These superior results imply that CoFe2O4 NSs with novel hybrid structure of rGO could potentially lead to an excellent electrochemical performance for energy storage.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To aim at the efficacies of surgical clipping and endovascular embolization for oculomotor nerve palsy (ONP) as treatments for posterior communicating artery aneurysm (PcoAA), and the comparison and various influencing factors of the treatments. PATIENTS AND METHODS An analysis of the clinical data of 52 enrolled PcoAA patients with ONP who had treatment in the Department of Neurosurgery in Anhui Provincial Hospital from January 2011 to June 2015 was conducted. There were 23 patients among a total underwent surgical clippings and others 29 patients received endovascular embolization treatment. Then, the age, gender, aneurysm size and rupture status, onset duration, preoperative ONP severity and postoperative recovery degree of ONP of patients in the two groups were compared. RESULTS The final ONP outcomes of the 52 PcoAA patients consisted of 27 full recovery patients (51.9%), 21 partial recovery patients (40.4%), and 4 no recovery patients (7.7%). (1) Within the 23 patients in the surgical clipping group, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) occurred in 16 patients, and no SAH occurrence in the other 7 patients; the final ONP evaluation showed 18 patients fully recovered (78.3%) and 5 patients partially recovered (21.7%). Within the 29 patients in the endovascular embolization group, SAH occurred in 18 patients, and no SAH occurrence in the other 11 patients; the final ONP evaluation showed 9 patients fully recovered (31%), 16 patients partially recovered in 16 patients (55.2%) and 4 no recovery patients (13.8%). (2) The postoperative ONP recovery was analyzed with multivariate logistic regression, and the treatment method was an independent factor for ONP recovery (OR = 0.041, 95% CI: 0.007-0.261, p < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS When compared with the endovascular embolization, the surgical clipping showed a better efficacy in the recovery from PcoAA related ONP.

Abstract
Context To analyze the dynamic changes of serum thyrotrophin receptor antibody (TRAb) and thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) in Graves' disease (GD) patients before and after radioactive iodine (RAI) treatment and to investigate if TRAb and TPOAb play a role in the occurrence of early hypothyroidism after 131I therapy for Graves' hyperthyroidism. Subjects and Methods A total of 240 patients newly diagnosed with GD were selected to study. A clinical and laboratory assessment was performed before and at 3, 6, and 12 months after 131I therapy. Chemiluminescent immunoassays were used to detect serum free triiodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4), sensitive thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) and TPOAb concentration. Radio-receptor assay was used to measure serum TRAb concentration. According to the early onset of hypothyroidism in a year after RAI therapy, patients were divided into early hypothyroidism group (group A) and non-early hypothyroidism group (group B). Results In both groups, serum TRAb and TPOAb increased at 3 months, reached the highest level at 6 months and returned to the baseline at 12 months after RAI therapy. TRAb showed a significant difference between the two groups at 6 months (P<0.01). Serum TPOAb in group A was higher than that in group B before and at 3, 6, 12 months after RAI therapy (P<0.05). Conclusions Serum TRAb and TPOAb are closely related to the occurrence of the early hypothyroidism, and play an important role in judging prognosis after 131I treatment in Graves' disease.

Abstract
Evidence of a nonlinear transition from mitigation to suppression of the edge localized mode (ELM) by using resonant magnetic perturbations (RMPs) in the EAST tokamak is presented. This is the first demonstration of ELM suppression with RMPs in slowly rotating plasmas with dominant radio-frequency wave heating. Changes of edge magnetic topology after the transition are indicated by a gradual phase shift in the plasma response field from a linear magneto hydro dynamics modeling result to a vacuum one and a sudden increase of three-dimensional particle flux to the divertor. The transition threshold depends on the spectrum of RMPs and plasma rotation as well as perturbation amplitude. This means that edge topological changes resulting from nonlinear plasma response plays a key role in the suppression of ELM with RMPs.
