Abstract
Background Compound Turkish gall ointment (CTGO) has a long history of being widely used as a folk medicine in Xinjiang for the treatment of eczema. CTGO is currently in the pre-investigational new drug application stage, but its pharmacological mechanisms of action have not yet been clarified. Methods First, a sensitive and reliable ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-Q exactive hybrid quadrupole-orbitrap high-resolution accurate mass spectrometry (UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap HRMS) technique was established. Second, an integrative strategy of network analysis and molecular docking based on identified and retrieved ingredients was implemented to investigate the potential targets and pathways involved in the treatment of eczema with CTGO. Finally, Sprague–Dawley (SD) rats with eczema were prepared to verify the predicted results. The skin conditions of the rats were observed, evaluated, and scored. Skin tissues were observed by hematoxylin–eosin (HE) staining, and the levels of serum interferon-γ (IFN-γ) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The expression levels of toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), nuclear factor kappa-B p65 (NF-κB p65), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were detected by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). Results A total of 29 compounds were identified. We found 38 active components and 58 targets for the treatment of eczema, which included 118 signaling pathways related to inflammation, immunity, and apoptosis. CTGO significantly improved the skin surface and histopathological characteristics of eczema-affected rats, downregulated the expression of IL-4, TLR4, NF-κB (p65), IL-1β, and TNF-α, and upregulated the expression level of IFN-γ. Conclusion We predicted and validated our prediction that CTGO may be used to treat eczema by affecting the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway, which provides guidance for future experimental studies.

Abstract
Apoptotic vesicles (apoVs) are apoptotic cell-derived nanosized vesicles that play a crucial role in multiple pathophysiological settings. However, their detailed characteristics, specific surface markers, and biological properties are not fully elucidated. In this study, we compared mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-derived apoVs and exosomes from three different types of MSCs including human bone marrow MSCs (hBMSCs), human adipose MSCs (hASCs), and mouse bone marrow MSCs (mBMSCs). We established a unique protein map of MSC-derived apoVs and identified the differences between apoVs and exosomes in terms of functional protein cargo and surface markers. Furthermore, we identified 13 proteins specifically enriched in apoVs compared to exosomes, which can be used as apoV-specific biomarkers. In addition, we showed that apoVs inherited apoptotic imprints such as Fas to ameliorate haemophilia A in factor VIII knockout mice via binding to the platelets' FasL to activate platelet functions, and therefore rescuing the blood clotting disorder. In summary, we systemically characterized MSC-derived apoVs and identified their therapeutic role in haemophilia A treatment through a previously unknown Fas/FasL linkage mechanism.

Abstract
The realization of high-quality heterostructures or hybrids of graphene and superconductor is crucial for exploring various novel quantum phenomena and devices engineering. Here, the electronic transport on directly grown high-quality graphene/Mo2 C vertical heterostructures with clean and sharp interface is comprehensively investigated. Owing to the strong interface coupling, the graphene layer feels an effective confinement potential well imposed by two-dimensional (2D) Mo2 C crystal. Employing cross junction device geometry, a series of resonance-like magnetoresistance peaks are observed at low temperatures. The temperature and gate voltage dependences of the observed resonance peaks give evidence for geometric resonance of electron cyclotron orbits with the formed potential well. Moreover, it is found that both the amplitude of resonance peaks and conductance fluctuation exhibit different temperature-dependent behaviors below the superconducting transition temperature of 2D Mo2 C, indicating the correlation of quantum fluctuations and superconductivity. This study offers a promising route toward integrating graphene with 2D superconducting materials, and establishes a new way to investigate the interplay of massless Dirac fermion and superconductivity based on graphene/2D superconductor vertical heterostructures.

Abstract
The global spread of SARS-CoV-2 and its variants poses a serious threat to human health worldwide. Recently, the emergence of Omicron has presented a new challenge to the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic. A convenient and reliable in vitro neutralization assay is an important method for validating the efficiency of antibodies, vaccines, and other potential drugs. Here, we established an effective assay based on a pseudovirus carrying a full-length spike (S) protein of SARS-CoV-2 variants in the HIV-1 backbone, with a luciferase reporter gene inserted into the non-replicate pseudovirus genome. The key parameters for packaging the pseudovirus were optimized, including the ratio of the S protein expression plasmids to the HIV backbone plasmids and the collection time for the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Kappa, and Omicron pseudovirus particles. The pseudovirus neutralization assay was validated using several approved or developed monoclonal antibodies, underscoring that Omicron can escape some neutralizing antibodies, such as REGN10987 and REGN10933, while S309 and ADG-2 still function with reduced neutralization capability. The neutralizing capacity of convalescent plasma from COVID-19 convalescent patients in Wuhan was tested against these pseudoviruses, revealing the immune evasion of Omicron. Our work established a practical pseudovirus-based neutralization assay for SARS-CoV-2 variants, which can be conducted safely under biosafety level-2 (BSL-2) conditions, and this assay will be a promising tool for studying and characterizing vaccines and therapeutic candidates against Omicron-included SARS-CoV-2 variants.

Abstract
Purpose: This study aimed to quantify the different quadrants of the optic nerve head (ONH) and macular parameters and their changes during exposure to high altitude, and to assess their correlation with high-altitude headache (HAH).Methods: Spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (OCT) was used to quantify changes in the retinal structure in 109 healthy subjects during acute exposure to high altitude (3,700 m). Self-reported symptoms of HAH and acute mountain sickness AMS were assessed using Lake Louise Score (LLS), alongside measurements of physiological parameters (oxygen saturation [SpO2], heart rate [HR], hemoglobin level [Hb], and red blood cell [RBC] count). Measurements were taken before and after exposure to the high-altitude environment. The correlations of these parameters and changes at ONH were examined.Results: With the exposure to high altitude, the incidence of AMS was 44.0% and the frequency of HAH was 67.0% (54.1% mild, 12.9% moderate-severe). As for systemic parameters measured at high altitude, the participants exhibited significantly lower SpO2, higher resting HR, higher Hb, and a higher RBC (all p < 0.05). Key stereometric parameters used to describe ONH [superior, inferior, nasal, temporal, and mean retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness] and macula (macular thickness) increased at high altitude compared with baseline. Most parameters of ONH changed, especially superior, inferior, and mean RNFL thickness (p < 0.05). There was a significant correlation between the ratios of RNFL at ONH and HAH [mean thickness (r = 0.246, p = 0.01); inferior (r = 0.216, p = 0.02); nasal (r = 0.193, p = 0.04)]. No associations between parameters of ONH and AMS or LLS were observed.Conclusion: The high-altitude environment can increase RNFL thickness at ONH. Furthermore, we found that the ratios of mean thickness, inferior area, and nasal area correlated positively with HAH, which provides new insights for understanding of the underlying pathological mechanisms of high-altitude retinopathy (HAR).

Abstract
BACKGROUND To illustrate the molecular mechanism of mycoheterotrophic interactions between orchids and fungi, we assembled chromosome-level reference genome of Gastrodia menghaiensis (Orchidaceae) and analyzed the genomes of two species of Gastrodia. RESULTS Our analyses indicated that the genomes of Gastrodia are globally diminished in comparison to autotrophic orchids, even compared to Cuscuta (a plant parasite). Genes involved in arbuscular mycorrhizae colonization were found in genomes of Gastrodia, and many of the genes involved biological interaction between Gatrodia and symbiotic microbionts are more numerous than in photosynthetic orchids. The highly expressed genes for fatty acid and ammonium root transporters suggest that fungi receive material from orchids, although most raw materials flow from the fungi. Many nuclear genes (e.g. biosynthesis of aromatic amino acid L-tryptophan) supporting plastid functions are expanded compared to photosynthetic orchids, an indication of the importance of plastids even in totally mycoheterotrophic species. CONCLUSION Gastrodia menghaiensis has the smallest proteome thus far among angiosperms. Many of the genes involved biological interaction between Gatrodia and symbiotic microbionts are more numerous than in photosynthetic orchids.

Abstract
Targeted therapies using tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) against epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) have improved the outcomes of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, due to genetic mutations of EGFR or activation of other oncogenic pathways, cancer cells can develop resistance to TKIs, resulting in usually temporary and reversible therapeutic effects. Therefore, new anticancer agents are urgently needed to treat drug-resistant NSCLC. In this study, we found that acetyltanshinone IIA (ATA) displayed much stronger potency than erlotinib in inhibiting the growth of drug-resistant NSCLC cells and their-derived xenograft tumors. Our analyses revealed that ATA achieved this effect by the following mechanisms. First, ATA could bind p70S6K at its ATP-binding pocket to prevent phosphorylation, and second by increasing the ubiquitination of p70S6K to cause its degradation. Since phosphorylation of S6 ribosome protein (S6RP) by p70S6K can induce protein synthesis at the ribosome, the dramatic reduction of p70S6K after ATA treatment led to great reductions of new protein synthesis on several cell cycle-related proteins including cyclin D3, aurora kinase A, polo-like kinase, cyclin B1, survivin; and reduced the levels of EGFR and MET. In addition, ATA treatment increased the levels of p53 and p21 proteins, which blocked cell cycle progression in the G1/S phase. Taken together, as ATA can effectively block multiple signaling pathways essential for protein synthesis and cell proliferation, ATA can potentially be developed into a multi-target anti-cancer agent to treat TKI-resistant NSCLC.

Abstract
The treatment of chronic periodontitis is undergoing a transition from simple plaque removal and replacement with substitute materials to regenerative therapy, in which stem cells play an important role. Although stem cell-based periodontal reconstruction has been widely explored, few clinical regeneration studies have been reported. The inflammatory lesions under the impact of host factors such as local microbial–host responses, may impede the regenerative properties of stem cells and destroy their living microenvironment. Furthermore, systemic diseases, in particular diabetes mellitus, synergistically shape the disordered host-bacterial responses and exacerbate the dysfunction of resident periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs), which ultimately restrain the capacity of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) to repair the damaged periodontal tissue. Accordingly, precise regulation of an instructive niche has become a promising approach to facilitate stem cell-based therapeutics for ameliorating periodontitis and for periodontal tissue regeneration. This review describes host limitations and coping strategies that influence resident or transplanted stem cell-mediated periodontal regeneration, such as the management of local microbial–host responses and rejuvenation of endogenous PDLSCs. More importantly, we recommend that active treatments for systemic diseases would also assist in recovering the limited stem cell function on the basis of amelioration of the inflammatory periodontal microenvironment.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Arterial stiffness is a common issue that may represent an indicator of vascular ageing. We aimed to investigate the association of arterial stiffness with the risk of functional disability and mobility limitation in older adults. DESIGN Prospective cohort study. SETTING AND PARTICIPANTS A total of 1699 older adults from the Rugao Longitudinal Ageing Study were included and analysed. MEASUREMENTS Arterial stiffness was assessed by brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV). Functional disability and mobility limitation were evaluated by the activities of daily living and the Timed Up and Go test, respectively. The associations of baPWV and risk of functional disability and mobility limitation were analysed using logistic regression models. Restricted cubic spline regressions were applied to estimate the possible nonlinear relationships between them. RESULTS During the 3.5-year follow-up, 97 (10.00%) and 285 (31.11%) individuals were defined as new-onset functional disability and mobility limitation, respectively. After adjusting for confounding factors, elevated baPWV was significantly associated with a higher risk of incident functional disability (odds ratio [OR] 1.18, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.06-1.31) and mobility limitation (OR 1.08, 95% CI 1.01-1.16). Additionally, consistent results were obtained from the stratified analyses of the different subgroups. Multivariable restricted cubic spline regression analysis further demonstrated that a near-linear association occurred between baPWV and the risk of incident functional disability and mobility limitation (P-overall < 0.01, P-nonlinear >0.05). CONCLUSION Arterial stiffness, as assessed by baPWV, was associated with the risk of functional disability and mobility limitation in this community-based cohort, and these associations were nearly linear.

Abstract
Species retaining ancestral features, such as species called living fossils, are often regarded as less derived than their sister groups, but such discussions are usually based on qualitative enumeration of conserved traits. This approach creates a major barrier, especially when quantifying the degree of phenotypic evolution or degree of derivedness, since it focuses only on commonly shared traits, and newly acquired or lost traits are often overlooked. To provide a potential solution to this problem, especially for inter-species comparison of gene expression profiles, we propose a new method named "derivedness index" to quantify the degree of derivedness. In contrast to the conservation-based approach, which deals with expressions of commonly shared genes among species being compared, the derivedness index also considers those that were potentially lost or duplicated during evolution. By applying our method, we found that the gene expression profiles of penta-radial phases in echinoderm tended to be more highly derived than those of the bilateral phase. However, our results suggest that echinoderms may not have experienced much larger modifications to their developmental systems than chordates, at least at the transcriptomic level. In vertebrates, we found that the mid-embryonic and organogenesis stages were generally less derived than the earlier or later stages, indicating that the conserved phylotypic period is also less derived. We also found genes that potentially explain less derivedness, such as Hox genes. Finally, we highlight technical concerns that may influence the measured transcriptomic derivedness, such as read depth and library preparation protocols, for further improvement of our method through future studies. We anticipate that this index will serve as a quantitative guide in the search for constrained developmental phases or processes.

[The effect of red blood cell folate on the prognosis of high-risk human papillomavirus infection: a community-based cohort study]. Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of red blood cell folate on the prognosis of high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) infection. Methods: A total of 564 participants with low-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasias (CINⅠ) were selected from the community-based married women cohort established in 2014. The general baseline information and factors related to HPV infection were collected. Meanwhile, HPV genotyping and levels of folate were measured. The subjects were divided into different levels of exposure group according to the folate levels and followed up for 24 months to observe the changes of HR-HPV infection status. There were four changes, including persistent infection, infection turned negative, from negative to positive and constant negative by comparing HR-HPV infection status at baseline and follow-up to 24 months. Results: 483 participators completed 24 months of follow-up observation, with a follow-up rate of 85.64% (483/564). The rates of persistent infection, infection turned negative, from negative to positive, and the constant negative were 52.45% (75/143), 47.55% (68/143), 19.71% (67/340), 80.29% (273/340), respectively. Our results demonstrated that the risk of persistent infection (aRR=2.50, 95%CI: 1.55-4.02) and from negative to positive (aRR=4.55, 95%CI: 2.52-8.23) in the low level of folate were significantly higher than that in the high level of folate, especially the risk of homotype persistent infection (aRR=2.72, 95%CI: 1.51-4.90). The risk of persistent infection (trend χ2=20.62, P<0.001), from negative to positive (trend χ2=31.76, P<0.001), persistent homotypic infection (trend χ2=20.09, P<0.001) increased with the decrease of red blood cell folate level. On the contrary, no similar results were found in persistent heterotypic infection. Conclusions: A low level of red blood cell folate could increase the risk of HR-HPV persistent infection and from negative to positive. In women with HR-HPV infection, the risk of persistent homotypic infection is higher.

Abstract
Ageing is characterized by degeneration and loss of function across multiple physiological systems. To study the mechanisms and consequences of ageing, several metrics have been proposed in a hierarchical model, including biological, phenotypic and functional ageing. In particular, phenotypic ageing and interconnected changes in multiple physiological systems occur in all ageing individuals over time. Recently, phenotypic age, a new ageing measure, was proposed to capture morbidity and mortality risk across diverse subpopulations in US cohort studies. Although phenotypic age has been widely used, it may overlook the complex relationships among phenotypic biomarkers. Considering the correlation structure of these phenotypic biomarkers, we proposed a composite phenotype analysis (CPA) strategy to analyse 71 biomarkers from 2074 individuals in the Rugao Longitudinal Ageing Study. CPA grouped these biomarkers into 18 composite phenotypes according to their internal correlation, and these composite phenotypes were mostly consistent with prior findings. In addition, compared with prior findings, this strategy exhibited some different yet important implications. For example, the indicators of kidney and cardiovascular functions were tightly connected, implying internal interactions. The composite phenotypes were further verified through associations with functional metrics of ageing, including disability, depression, cognitive function and frailty. Compared to age alone, these composite phenotypes had better predictive performances for functional metrics of ageing. In summary, CPA could reveal the hidden relationships of physiological systems and identify the links between physiological systems and functional ageing metrics, thereby providing novel insights into potential mechanisms underlying human ageing.

Abstract
We have performed sound velocity and unit cell volume measurements of three synthetic, ultrafine micro/nanocrystalline grossular samples up to 50 GPa using Brillouin spectroscopy and synchrotron X-ray diffraction. The samples are characterized by average grain sizes of 90 nm, 93 nm and 179 nm (hereinafter referred to as samples Gr90, Gr93, and Gr179, respectively). The experimentally determined sound velocities and elastic properties of Gr179 sample are comparable with previous measurements, but slightly higher than those of Gr90 and Gr93 under ambient conditions. However, the differences diminish with increasing pressure, and the velocity crossover eventually takes place at approximately 20-30 GPa. The X-ray diffraction peaks of the ultrafine micro/nanocrystalline grossular samples significantly broaden between 15-40 GPa, especially for Gr179. The velocity or elasticity crossover observed at pressures over 30 GPa might be explained by different grain size reduction and/or inhomogeneous strain within the individual grains for the three grossular samples, which is supported by both the pressure-induced peak broadening observed in the X-ray diffraction experiments and transmission electron microscopy observations. The elastic behavior of ultrafine micro/nanocrystalline silicates, in this case, grossular, is both grain size and pressure dependent.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effects of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) exposure on the prognosis of high risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) infection. Methods: In this prospective study, 564 patients with low-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia confirmed by pathology were selected from the natural cohort population established by our research group in Shanxi province in 2014. Based on the baseline data of demographic characteristics and factors related to HPV infection, the concentrations of 1-hydroxypyrene in urine samples of the patients were determined by high performance liquid chromatography to define the exposure level of PAHs. At baseline survey and follow-up after 24 months, flow-through hybridization was used to detect HPV infection types, and to evaluate the prognosis of HR-HPV (persistent infection, negative conversion, positive conversion and persistent negative status). Results: Of the 564 subjects, 483 completed the follow-up, with a follow-up rate of 85.6% (483/564). Among them, the persistent infection rate was 52.4% (75/143), the persistent homotype infection rate was 35.7% (51/143), the negative conversion rate was 47.6% (68/143), the positive conversion rate was 19.7% (67/340), and the persistent negative rate was 80.3% (273/340). The follow-up results showed that the persistent infection rate (aRR=3.22, 95%CI: 1.85-5.62) and positive conversion rate (aRR=2.84, 95%CI: 1.64-4.94) of HR-HPV in high PAHs exposure group were higher than those in low PAHs exposure group, while the persistent negative rate (aRR=0.55, 95% CI: 0.43-0.70) of HR-HPV in high PAHs exposure group were lower than those in low PAHs exposure group. Based on restrictive cubic spline analysis, the results showed that the effects of PAHs exposure on persistent HR-HPV infection and persistent homotype infection showed an ascending linear dose-response relationship, while on HR-HPV positive conversion and persistent negative status showed an ascending and declining nonlinear dose-response relationship respectively (P<0.01). Conclusions: High PAHs exposure could promote persistent HR-HPV infection and persistent homotypic infection. Reducing PAHs exposure might conducive to HR-HPV continuous negative maintenance. Active prevention and control of PAHs exposure is of great significance to prevent HR-HPV infection and persistent infection.

Abstract
High altitude is an extreme environment that imposes hypoxic pressure on physiological processes, and natives living at high altitudes are more adaptive in certain physiological processes. So far, epigenetic modifications under extreme changes in hypoxic pressures are relatively less understood. Here, we recruit 32 Tibetan elite alpinists (TEAs), who have successfully mounted Everest (8848 m) at least five times. Blood samples and physiological phenotypes of TEAs and 32 matched non-alpinist Tibetan volunteers (non-TEAs) are collected for analysis. Genome-wide DNA methylation analysis identifies 23,202 differentially methylated CpGs (Padj < 0.05, |β| > 0.1) between the two groups. Some differentially methylated CpGs are in hypoxia-related genes such as PPP1R13L, MAP3K7CL, SEPTI-9, and CUL2. In addition, Gene ontology enrichment analysis reveals several inflammation-related pathways. Phenotypic analysis indicates that 12 phenotypes are significantly different between the two groups. In particular, TEAs exhibit higher blood oxygen saturation levels and lower neutrophil count, platelet count, and heart rate. For DNA methylation association analysis, we find that two CpGs (cg16687447, cg06947206) upstream of PTEN were associated with platelet count. In conclusion, extreme hypoxia exposure leads to epigenetic modifications and phenotypic alterations of TEA, providing us clues for exploring the molecular mechanism underlying changes under extreme hypoxia conditions.

Abstract
BACKGROUND In this study, we investigated the Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway activating capacity of Biphenyl Diester Derivative-39 (BDD-39) in diabetic nephropathy in order to elucidate the mechanism surrounding its antidiabetic potential. OBJECTIVES Protein expressions of Nrf2, HO-1, NQO-1 and biomarkers of kidney fibrosis were executed after which mRNA levels of Nrf2, HO-1 and NQO-1 were estimated after creating the models following BBD-39 treatment. METHODS Type 2 diabetes model was established in mice with high-fat diet feeding combined with streptozocin intraperitoneal administration. The diabetic mice were then treated with BDD-39 (15, 45mg· kg-1· d-1, ig) or a positive control drug resveratrol (45mg· kg-1·d-1, ig) for 8 weeks. Staining techniques were used to investigate collagen deposition in the glomerulus of the renal cortex and also to investigate the expression and localization of Nrf2 and extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins (collagen IV and laminin) in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, we studied the mechanism of action of BDD-39 using RNA-mediated Nrf2 silencing technique in mouse SV40 glomerular mesangial cells (SV40 GM cells). RESULTS We found that BDD-39 activates Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway, promotes Nrf2 nuclear translocation (Nrf2nuc/Nrf2cyt) and modulate prominent biomarkers of kidney fibrosis at the protein level. However, BDD-39 could not activate Nrf2/ARE signaling in RNA-mediated Nrf2-silenced HG-cultured SV40 GM cells. CONCLUSION Taken together, this study demonstrates for the first time that BDD-39 ameliorates experimental DN through attenuation of renal fibrosis progression and modulation of Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the relationship between serum folate and the prognosis of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade I (CIN1) and the interaction between folate and high risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) infection. Methods: From a community-based married women cohort established in Jiexiu and Yangqu County of Shanxi Province from June to December 2014, a total of 564 eligible women with CIN1 by pathologically diagnosed were recruited. The pathological examination was performed again 12 months later. According to the prognosis of CIN1, participants were divided into CIN1 regression group, persistence and progression group, respectively. Nested case-control study was used to explore the relationship between serum folate and CIN1 prognosis, and additive model was used to analyze the interaction between serum folate and HR-HPV infection. Results: Among 564 CIN1 patients, 479 cases underwent pathological examination again, 331 were divided in CIN1 regression group and other 148 in persistence and progression group. The levels of serum folate in CIN1 regression group and persistence and progression group were (18.890±8.360) and (15.640±5.550) nmol/L, respectively, and the difference was statistically significant (Z=-6.937, P<0.001). HPV infection was detected in 154 patients, including 148 cases of HR-HPV infection and 6 cases of low risk human papillomavirus (LR-HPV) infection. Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in the age, passive smoking, frequency of pudendal cleaning, frequency of cleaning after sex, frequency of changing underwear, serum folate and HR-HPV infection between regression group and persistence and progression group (P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the frequency of pudendal cleaning (OR=0.422, 95%CI: 0.238-0.750), frequency of changing underwear (OR=0.574, 95%CI: 0.355-0.928), serum folate (13.06-16.78nmol/L: OR=4.806, 95%CI: 2.355-9.810; ≤13.05nmol/L: OR=8.378, 95%CI: 4.024-17.445), HR-HPV infection (OR=1.852, 95%CI: 1.170-2.933) were the independent influencing factors of CIN1 prognosis. Interaction analysis showed that the relative excess risk of low serum folate level and HR-HPV infection for the CIN1 persistence and progression was 4.992 (95%CI: 0.189-9.796), attributable proportion due to interaction was 0.552 (95%CI: 0.279-0.824), synergy index was 2.632 (95%CI: 1.239-5.588), aOR of serum folate≤16.78 nmol/L and HR-HPV infection positive was 9.055 (95%CI: 4.878-16.807). Conclusion: Low serum folate level could increase the risk of CIN1 persistence and progression, and might enhance the risk when combined with HR-HPV infection.

Abstract
β-Lactam compounds play a key role in medicinal chemistry, specifically as the most important class of antibiotics. Here, we report a novel one-step approach for the synthesis of α-(trifluoromethyl)-β-lactams and related products from fluorinated olefins, anilines and CO. Utilization of an advanced palladium catalyst system with the Ruphos ligand allows for selective cycloaminocarbonylations to give diverse fluorinated β-lactams in high yields.
