Abstract
Naphthoquinones harboring 1,4-naphthoquinone pharmacophore are considered as privileged structures in medicinal chemistry. In pharmaceutical industry and fundamental research, polyketide naphthoquinones were widely produced by heterologous expression of polyketide synthases in microbial chassis cells, such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Escherichia coli. Nevertheless, these cell factories still remain, to a great degree, black boxes that often exceed engineers’ expectations. In this work, the biotransformation of juglone or 1,4-naphthoquinone was conducted to generate novel derivatives and it was revealed that these two naphthoquinones can indeed be modified by the chassis cells. Seventeen derivatives, including 6 novel compounds, were isolated and their structural characterizations indicated the attachment of certain metabolites of chassis cells to naphthoquinones. Some of these biosynthesized derivatives were reported as potent antimicrobial agents with reduced cytotoxic activities. Additionally, molecular docking as simple and quick in silico approach was performed to screen the biosynthesized compounds for their potential antiviral activity. It was found that compound 11 and 17 showed the most promising binding affinities against Nsp9 of SARS-CoV-2, demonstrating their potential antiviral activities. Overall, this work provides a new approach to generate novel molecules in the commonly used chassis cells, which would expand the chemical diversity for the drug development pipeline. It also reveals a novel insight into the potential of the catalytic power of the most widely used chassis cells.

Abstract
Objective: To examine the effectiveness of revascularization of the deep femoral artery and its inflow vessels to treat critical limb ischemia in patients with thromboangiitis obliterans (TAO). Methods: The clinical data of 9 TAO patients with critical limb ischemia who underwent deep femoral artery and its inflow revascularization from January 2018 to October 2020 at Department of Vascular Surgery, the First Medical Center, People's Liberation Army General Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. There were all males, aged from 26 to 50 years with onset time from 1 to 7 years. All patients had severe rest pain, and 4 had ischemic ulcers or gangrene. All patients had occlusion of the deep femoral artery origins and(or) its inflow tracts, including 2 ipsilateral common iliac artery occlusion, 4 ipsilateral external iliac artery occlusion, 7 common femoral artery occlusion, and 8 deep femoral artery origins, without the involvement of the contralateral common femoral artery or its inflow tracts.Surgical procedures included femoral endarterectomy with thrombectomy, merge suture, and bypass.Technical success rate, rest pain relief, ulcer healing, patency, amputation rate, and long-term prognosis were recorded. Results: The overall technical success rate was 9/9, including 8 femoral endarterectomies with thrombectomy (with 4 patch-angioplasty with the great saphenous vein, 1 merge suture, and 3 simple sutures), 4 femoral-femoral bypasses with artificial vessels, and 1 superficial femoral artery bypass with the great saphenous vein.Rest pain disappeared after the operation immediately. The follow-up time was 10 to 44 months. All patients survived. The semi-annual patency rate was 9/9, and the one-year patency rate was 6/8.Except for one patient with significantly reduced but unhealed dorsalis ulcer up to now due to continuous heavy tobacco exposure after surgery, all others had no rest pain occurred or recurrence of foot ulcers during the follow-up.Among the 8 patients, 3 cases with recent claudication had continuous moderate tobacco exposure (10 to 20 cigarettes per day or severe passive smoking). Conclusions: For patients with thromboangiitis obliterans involved in the deep femoral artery or its inflow vessels, revascularization should be the primary choice and a good long-term prognosis is promising.Postoperative tobacco exposure (including passive smoking) is of great impact on the prognosis of TAO patients, and smoking cessation education must be reemphasized and reinforced.

Abstract
Objective: To compare the clinical application results of the FPTF (free posterior tibial artery perforator flap) and RFFF (radial forearm free flap) for reconstruction of head and neck defects. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 27 cases treated with FPTF (19 males and 8 females, aged 14-69 years) and 24 cases with RFFF (11 males and 13 females, aged 22-69 years) for head and neck defect reconstruction at Beijing Tongren Hospital of Capital Medical University from January 2015 to December 2020 was conducted. Flap size, vascular pedicle length, matching degree of recipient area blood vessels, preparation time, total operation time, hospital stay, recipient area complications, donor area complications and scale-based patient satisfaction were compared between two groups of patients with FTPF and RFFF. SPSS 26.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis. Results: There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of patients in tumor T staging (P=0.38), primary sites (P=0.05) and mean flap areas ((53.67±29.84) cm2 vs. (41.13±11.08) cm2, t=-1.472, P=0.14). However the mean vascular pedicle length of FPTF was more than that of RFFF ((11.15±2.48)cm vs. (8.50±1.69)cm, t=-4.071, P<0.01). The donor sites of 4 patients in FPTF group could be sutured directly, while all the 24 patients in RFFF group received skin grafts from the donor sites. There was no statistically significant difference in the recipient area arteries between two groups of flaps (P=0.10), with more commonly using of the facial artery (RFFF: FPTF=21∶27), but there was significant difference in the recipient area veins (P<0.01), with more commonly using of the external jugular vein in RFFF (14/24) than FPTF (4/32) and the posterior facial vein in FPTF (27/32) than RFFF (9/24). There were 10 recipient complications and 3 donor complications in RFFF group; no recipient complication and 3 donor complications occurred in FPTF group. With patient's subjective evaluation of the donor site at 12 months after surgery, FPTF was better than RFFF (χ²=22.241, P<0.01). Conclusions: FPTF is an alternative to RFFF in head and neck reconstruction and has unique advantages in aesthetics and clinical application.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the impact of water pollutants, water levels and meteorological factors on the Oncomelania hupensis density in Eastern Dongting Lake regions, so as to provide insights into schistosomiasis control. METHODS O. hupensis snails were surveyed using a systematic sampling method in snail-infested marshlands in Eastern Dongting Lake regions from 2007 to 2014, and data pertaining to water pollutants, water levels and meteorological factors were collected. The duration of submergence and the date of the start of submergence were calculated. The snail density and its influencing factors were descriptively analyzed, and a linear mixed model was generated to examine the impacts of variables on the snail density. In addition, smooth curves were fitted to investigate the relationship between snail density and variables. RESULTS The snail density appeared a fluctuation in Eastern Dongting Lake regions during the period from 2007 to 2014, with the highest density on October, 2010 (52.79 snails/0.1 m2) and the lowest density on January 2009 (2.15 snails/0.1 m2). Linear mixed-model analysis showed that permanganate index, total phosphorus and the date of the start of submergence affected the snail density (t = 6.386, -2.920 and -3.892, all P values < 0.01). Smooth curve analysis revealed that the associations of the snail density with the permanganate index and total phosphorus appeared an approximately quadratic curve. After the end of April, the earlier date of the start of submergence resulted in a higher snail density. CONCLUSIONS Permenganate index, total phosphorus and the date of the start of submergence affect the O. hupensis snail density in Eastern Dongting Lake regions.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE An accurate evaluation of the World Health Organization grade is critical in pediatric intracranial tumors. Our aim was to explore the correlations between parameters derived from conventional DWI, intravoxel incoherent motion, and diffusional kurtosis imaging with histopathologic features to evaluate the accuracy of diffusion parameters for grading of pediatric intracranial tumors. MATERIALS AND METHODS Fifty-four pediatric patients with histologically proved intracranial tumors who underwent conventional DWI, intravoxel incoherent motion, and diffusional kurtosis imaging were recruited. The conventional DWI (ADC), intravoxel incoherent motion (pure diffusion coefficient [D], pseudodiffusion coefficient [D*], perfusion fraction [f], diffusional kurtosis imaging [K], and diffusion coefficient [Dk]) parameters in the solid component of tumors were measured. The cellularity, Ki-67, and microvessel density were measured. These parameters were compared between the low- and high-grade pediatric intracranial tumors using the Mann-Whitney U test. Spearman correlations and receiver operating characteristic analysis were performed. RESULTS The ADC, D, and Dk values were lower, whereas the K value was higher in high-grade pediatric intracranial tumors than in low-grade tumors (all, P < .001). The K value showed positive correlations (r = 0.674-0.802; all, P < .05), while ADC, D, and Dk showed negative correlations with cellularity and Ki-67 (r = -0.548 to -0.740; all, P < .05). The areas under the curve of ADCVOI, DVOI, DkVOI, and KVOI were 0.901, 0.894, 0.863, and 0.885, respectively, for differentiating high- from low-grade pediatric intracranial tumors. The area under the curve difference in grading pediatric intracranial tumors was not significant (all, P > .05). CONCLUSIONS Intravoxel incoherent motion- and diffusional kurtosis imaging-derived parameters have similar performance compared with conventional DWI in predicting pediatric intracranial tumor grade. The diffusion metrics may potentially reflect tumor cellularity and Ki-67 in pediatric intracranial tumors.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of the radical resection with a proximal incisal edge length of 20-25 mm and 30-35 mm in Siewert type Ⅱ advanced esophagogastric junction adenocarcinoma, to shorten the minimum safe distance of the proximal incisal edge to 20-25 mm. Methods: A retrospective cohort study method was used. The clinical data of 166 patients with Siewert type Ⅱ advanced esophagogastric junction adenocarcinoma who underwent total gastrectomy from January 2017 to August 2020 in the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Heji Hospital Affiliated to Changzhi Medical College were retrospectively collected. According to the proximal incisal edge length, the patients were divided into two groups: the proximal incisal edge length of 20-25 mm group (69 cases) and 30-35 mm group (97 cases). The perioperative conditions and the 6-month follow-up after the operation were compared between the two groups. Results: There was no statistically significant difference in baseline information between the patients in the two groups (P>0.05). The operations of both groups were completed. The intraoperative operation time of the proximal incisal edge length of 20-25 mm group was shorter than that in the proximal incisal edge length of 30-35 mm group ((172±24)and(206±27)min, P<0.001). There were no significant differences in the amount of intraoperative blood loss, the treatment of the diaphragm during the operation and the positive rate of intraoperative freezing of the upper incisal edge between the patients in the two groups (all P>0.05). And there was no significant differences in the first exhaust time, gastric tube removal time, first feeding time and hospital stay after the operation of the two groups (all P>0.05). There was no significant differences in the incidence of anastomotic leakage, anastomotic stenosis, reflux esophagitis and intestinal obstruction after the operation between the patients in the two groups (all P>0.05). And there was no anastomotic leakage case among the 69 cases in the proximal incisal edge length of 20-25 mm group. Postoperative pathological treatment showed no significant differences in the vascular tumor thrombus and nerve infiltration between the two groups (both P>0.05). During the 6-month follow-up, there was no death or tumor recurrence in the two groups, and there was no significant difference in body weight loss at 6 months after the operation between the two groups (P=0.178). Conclusion: When radical resection of Siewert type Ⅱ advanced esophagogastric junction adenocarcinoma is performed, it is feasible to shorten the minimum safe distance of the proximal incisal edge to 20-25 mm under the premise of ensuring R0 resection. The operation time is shortened. Due to the shortening the incisal edge distance, the anastomotic tension is decreased, and the incidence of postoperative anastomotic leakage is also reduced.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the characteristics of thyroid invasion and central lymph node metastasis of hypopharyngeal carcinoma, and the impact on survival rate and quality of life. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 124 cases (122 males and 2 females with age range from 36 to 78 years old) with laryngopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma who were initially treated in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery, Beijing Tongren Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from January 2014 to December 2017 was performed. The clinical data included tumor location, pathological T stage, pathological N stage, invasion of thyroid gland, central lymph node metastasis, surgical procedures and so on. Patients were grouped according to if presence of thyroid invasion and central lymph node metastasis. With follow-up, the survival was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier method, and tumor recurrence and metastasis were evaluated. Results: Of the patients, 12 patients had thyroid involvement and 5 patients had central lymph node metastasis. The incidence of thyroid involvement was 8.16% (8/98) in pyriform sinus, 1/18 in posterior pharyngeal wall and 3/8 in posterior cricoid wall, with statistically significant difference (χ2=15.076,P=0.008). The incidence of central lymph node metastasis was 1.02% (1/98) in pyriform sinus, 3/18 in posterior pharyngeal wall and 1/8 in posterior cricoid wall, also with statistically significant difference (χ2=11.205, P=0.008). There was no statistical correlation between thyroid invasion or central lymph node metastasis and gender, smoking or alcohol exposure history and tumor pathological differentiation (all P>0.05). The 3-year overall survival rate was 80.65% and the 3-year recurrence free rate was 85.48%. Totally 24 patients died in 3 years, including 4 cases in thyroid invasion group and 1 case in central lymph node metastasis group. Local recurrence occurred in 18 patients, including 4 cases in thyroid invasion group and 1 case in central lymph node metastasis group. There was no significant difference in survival between patients with and without thyroid invasion and central lymph node metastasis (all P>0.05). There were significantly difference in 3-year overall survival and relapse-free survival among the groups with different T stages, N stages, pathological stages and tumor pathological differentiation levels (all P<0.05). There were significantly differences in the levels of serum calcium and FT3 between the groups with or without thyroid invasion and central lymph node metastasis (all P<0.05). Conclusion: The incidences of thyroid invasion and central lymph node metastasis of hypopharyngeal carcinoma are rare, and the risk of occurrence is related to the primary site of tumor. Comprehensive evaluation, correct decision-making and accurate treatment could be helpful to cure radically the tumor, to prevent recurrence and to improve the quality of life of patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND CDK4/6 inhibitors modulate immune response in breast cancer. This phase I/II trial was designed to test the safety and efficacy of palbociclib, pembrolizumab and letrozole in women with hormone receptor positive (HR+) human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 negative (HER2-) metastatic breast cancer (MBC). PATIENTS AND METHODS Women with stage IV HR+ HER2- MBC were enrolled and treated with palbociclib, pembrolizumab and letrozole. Primary end-points were safety, tolerability and efficacy. RESULTS Between November 2016 and July 2020, 23 patients were enrolled with 20 evaluable for response, including 4 patients in cohort 1 and 16 patients in cohort 2. Cohort 1 median age was 48 years (33-70) and cohort 2 median age was 55 (37-75). Cohort 1 closed early due to limited accrual. Grade III-IV adverse events were neutropenia (83%), leucopaenia (65%), thrombocytopenia (17%) and elevated liver enzymes (17%). In cohort 1, 50% achieved a partial response (PR) and 50% had stable disease (SD). In cohort 2, 31% achieved complete response (CR), 25% had PR and 31% had SD by Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumours version 1.1. Median progression-free survival was 25.2 months (95% confidence interval [CI] 5.3, not reached) and median overall survival was 36.9 months (95% CI 36.9, not reached) in cohort 2 with a median follow-up of 24.8 months (95% CI 17.1, not reached). A correlative immune biomarker analysis was published separately. CONCLUSION The combination of palbociclib, pembrolizumab and letrozole is well tolerated, and a complete response rate of 31% was identified in HR+ MBC patients who received this combination as front-line therapy. Confirmatory trials are required to better understand the immune-priming effects of CDK4/6 inhibitors.

Abstract
Background:Experts emphasize early diagnosis and treatment in RA, but the widely used diagnostic criterias fail to meet the accurate judgment of early rheumatoid arthritis. In 2012, Professor Zhanguo Li took the lead in establishing ERA “Chinese standard”, and its sensitivity and accuracy have been recognized by peers. However, the optimal first-line treatment of patients (pts) with undifferentiated arthritis (UA), early rheumatoid arthritis (ERA), and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) are yet to be established. Objectives:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Iguratimod-based (IGU-based) Strategy in the above three types of pts, and to explore the characteristics of the effects of IGU monotherapy and combined treatment. Methods:This prospective cohort study (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier NCT01548001) was conducted in China. In this phase 4 study pts with RA (ACR 1987 criteria[1]), ERA (not match ACR 1987 criteria[1] but match ACR/EULAR 2010 criteria[2] or 2014 ERA criteria[3]), UA (not match classification criteria for ERA and RA but imaging suggests synovitis) were recruited. We applied different treatments according to the patient’s disease activity at baseline, including IGU monotherapy and combination therapies with methotrexate, hydroxychloroquine, and prednisone. Specifically, pts with LDA and fewer poor prognostic factors were entered the IGU monotherapy group (25 mg bid), and pts with high disease activity were assigned to combination groups. A Chi-square test was applied for comparison. The primary outcomes were the proportion of pts in remission (REM)or low disease activity (LDA) that is DAS28-ESR<2.6 or 3.2 at 24 weeks, as well as the proportion of pts, achieved ACR20, Boolean remission, and good or moderate EULAR response (G+M).Results:A total of 313 pts (26 pts with UA, 59 pts with ERA, and 228 pts with RA) were included in this study. Of these, 227/313 (72.5%) pts completed the 24-week follow-up. The results showed that 115/227 (50.7%), 174/227 (76.7%), 77/227 (33.9%), 179/227 (78.9%) pts achieved DAS28-ESR defined REM and LDA, ACR20, Boolean remission, G+M response, respectively. All parameters continued to decrease in all pts after treatment (Fig 1).Compared with baseline, the three highest decline indexes of disease activity at week 24 were SW28, CDAI, and T28, with an average decline rate of 73.8%, 61.4%, 58.7%, respectively. Results were similar in three cohorts. We performed a stratified analysis of which IGU treatment should be used in different cohorts. The study found that the proportion of pts with UA and ERA who used IGU monotherapy were significantly higher than those in the RA cohort. While the proportion of triple and quadruple combined use of IGU in RA pts was significantly higher than that of ERA and UA at baseline and whole-course (Fig 2).A total of 81/313 (25.8%) pts in this study had adverse events (AE) with no serious adverse events. The main adverse events were infection(25/313, 7.99%), gastrointestinal disorders(13/313, 4.15%), liver dysfunction(12/313, 3.83%) which were lower than 259/2666 (9.71%) in the previous Japanese phase IV study[4].The most common reasons of lost follow-up were: 1) discontinued after remission 25/86 (29.1%); 2) lost 22/86 (25.6%); 3) drug ineffective 19/86 (22.1%).Conclusion:Both IGU-based monotherapy and combined therapies are tolerant and effective for treating UA, ERA, and RA, while the decline in joint symptoms was most significant. Overall, IGU combination treatments were most used in RA pts, while monotherapy was predominant in ERA and UA pts.References:[1]Levin RW, et al. Scand J Rheumatol 1996, 25(5):277-281.[2]Kay J, et al. Abstract
Objective: To develop and validate the health-related quality of life (HRQOL) questionnaire for adult patients with anisometropic amblyopia. Methods: Cross-sectional study. A total of 170 adult patients with anisometropic amblyopia, 100 adult patients with other eye diseases and 80 healthy adults with normal vision were recruited at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, and 20 healthy adults with normal vision were recruited at Qinhuai Medical District of Easter Theater General Hospital of PLA from December 2019 to February 2020. Individual interviews of 30 adult patients with anisometropic amblyopia generated 80 questionnaire items. For item reduction, 40 adult patients with anisometropic amblyopia were asked to complete the 80-item questionnaire and responses were analyzed. Then factor analyses were performed to identify prominent factors (subscales). The reliability of the questionnaire was evaluated by Cronbach's α coefficient. The overall and sub-scale scores were the average scores of all included items, ranging from 0 (worst HRQOL) to 100 (best HRQOL). The final 20-item questionnaire was administered to additional 100 adult patients with anisometropic amblyopia, 100 adult patients with other eye diseases and 100 visually normal adults. Mean overall and subscale scores were compared across groups using one-way analysis of variance. Results: The final adult anisometropic amblyopia questionnaire (AAAQ) consisted of a function subscale and a psychosocial subscale, each containing 10 items. The Cronbach's α coefficients of the overall, function subscale and psychosocial subscale were 0.88, 0.78 and 0.78. There were 55 males and 45 females in 100 adult anisometropic amblyopia patients, with a median age of 26 years (range, 18 to 43 years). The age and gender distribution were matched with 100 adult patients with other eye diseases and 100 healthy adults with normal vision (all P>0.05). The mean overall score (28.63±9.18), function subscale score (27.69±9.88) and psychosocial subscale score (29.53±9.90) for adult patients with anisometropic amblyopia were significantly lower compared to adult patients with other eye diseases (71.28±8.14, P<0.01; 65.56±7.81, P<0.01; 76.85±10.76, P<0.01) and visually normal adults (84.54±9.13, P<0.01; 81.70±9.27, P<0.01; 87.38±10.06, P<0.01). Conclusion: The AAAQ meets the requirements for validity and reliability of a HRQOL questionnaire, and can be used to assess the HRQOL of adult patients with anisometropic amblyopia. Abstract
OBJECTIVE COVID-19 is a new coronavirus infectious disease. We aimed to study the characteristics of thyroid hormone levels in patients with COVID-19 and to explore whether thyroid hormone predicts all-cause mortality of severely or critically ill patients. METHODS The clinical data of 100 patients with COVID-19, who were admitted to Wuhan Tongji Hospital from February 8 to March 8, 2020, were analyzed in this retrospective study. The patients were followed up for 6-41 days. Patients were grouped into non-severe illness and severe or critical illness, which included survivors and non-survivors. Multivariate Cox proportional hazards analysis was used to estimate hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) for all-cause mortality in association with continuous and the lower two quartiles of thyroid hormone concentrations in severely or critically ill patients. RESULTS The means of free T3 (FT3) were 4.40, 3.73 and 2.76 pmol/L in non-severely ill patients, survivors and non-survivors, respectively. The lower (versus upper) two quartiles of FT3 was associated with all-cause mortality HR (95% CI) of 9.23 (2.01, 42.28). The HR (95% CI) for all-cause mortality in association with continuous FT3 concentration was 0.41 (0.21, 0.81). In the multivariate-adjusted models, free T4 (FT4), TSH and FT3/FT4 were not significantly related to all-cause mortality. Patients with FT3 less than 3.10 pmol/L had increased all-cause mortality. CONCLUSION FT3 concentration was significantly lower in patients with severe COVID-19 than in non-severely ill patients. Reduced FT3 independently predicted all-cause mortality of patients with severe COVID-19.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the clinical effects of orthokeratology lens on children with myopic anisometropia. Methods: Retrospective case series study. The data of 226 myopic anisometropia children, (10.83±1.56)years old, including 95 males and 131 females, fitted with orthokeratology(OK) lens in Beijing Tongren Hospital from June 2017 to June 2019 were collected. According to the lens wearing condition and baseline anisometropia, they were divided into four groups: group A1 with an average age of (10.68±1.66) years (bilateral OK lens wearing with low anisometropia, 1.0 D≤SE difference<2.5 D, 50 males and 61 females), group A2 with an average age of (11.24±1.38) years (bilateral OK lens wearing with moderate and high anisometropia, SE difference≥2.5 D, 10 males and 23 females), group B1 with an average age of (10.79±1.51) years (unilateral OK lens wearing with low anisometropia, 1.0 D≤SE difference<2.5 D, 17 males and 21 females) and group B2 with an average age of (10.97±1.60) years (unilateral OK lens wearing with moderate and high anisometropia, SE difference≥2.5 D, 18 males and 26 females). After wearing OK lens for one year, the changes of axial length(AL) and AL difference were observed and statistically analyzed. Results: (1) AL changes: after wearing OK-lens for one year, AL of each eye increased. In group A1, the AL of the more myopic eyes and the less myopic eyes increased by (0.20±0.21) mm and (0.24±0.22) mm respectively, and the difference was statistically significant (t=-3.208, P=0.002); in group A2, the AL growth of the more myopic eyes and the less myopic eyes were (0.04±0.11) mm and (0.17±0.14) mm, and the difference was statistically significant (t=-5.545, P<0.001). In group B1, the AL elongation of the more myopic eyes and the less myopic eyes were (0.14±0.21) mm and (0.39±0.23) mm, and in group B2, the AL growth of the more myopic eyes and the less myopic eyes were (0.11±0.14) mm and (0.54±0.24) mm, with statistically significant differences(t=-6.533, -11.643; all P<0.001). There was a linear correlation between AL elongation and age of the more myopic eyes and the less myopic eyes in group A1(corrected R2=0.208, 0.237) and group A2 (corrected R2=0.169, 0.360). There was no linear correlation of the more myopic eyes and the less myopic eyes between AL change and age or baseline myopia in group B1 (F=0.514, 1.205;P=0.602, 0.312) and group B2 (F=0.841, 0.056; P=0.439, 0.946). (2)Change of AL difference: after wearing OK lens for one year, the changes of AL difference in groupA1, A2, B1 and B2 were (-0.04±0.14) mm,(-0.13±0.13) mm,(-0.26±0.24) mm and (-0.43±0.25) mm, and the decrease of AL difference in moderate and high anisometropia groups were greater than that in low anisometropia groups (t =-3.211, -3.180; P=0.002, 0.002).There was a linear correlation between the reduction of AL difference and baseline anisometropia in group A1, A2 and B2 (corrected R2=0.099, 0.149, 0.230), and there was no linear relationship between the decrease of AL difference and the baseline anisometropia in group B1 (F=0.014, P=0.908). Conclusions: Orthokeratology could effectively control the progression of myopia and to treat anisometropia. The effect of myopia control was better in the older binocular OK lens wearers, and for the patients with greater baseline anisometropia, the treatment effect of anisometropia was better.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE In recent years, the death number of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) has been enhanced annually. The crucial function of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) in the occurrence and progression of cancer is of great significance. However, the specific role of lncRNAs in the pathogenesis and prognosis of RCC has not been fully elucidated. Therefore, the aim of this study was to uncover the role of lncRNA RP11-567G11.1 in regulating the progression of RCC. PATIENTS AND METHODS Relative expression level of RP11-567G11.1 in RCC tissues and cells was determined by quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR). The influences of RP11-567G11.1 on proliferative and invasive abilities of RCC cells were assessed. Subsequently, regulatory effects of RP11-567G11.1 on the viability and apoptosis of DDP-induced RCC cells were examined. Furthermore, the mRNA and protein levels of Notch pathway-related genes Jagged1/HES5/HEY1 in RCC were detected by qRT-PCR and Western blot, respectively. RESULTS RP11-567G11.1 expression was significantly up-regulated in RCC tissues and cells. Meanwhile, RP11-567G11.1 was highly expressed in RCC patients with advanced stage. Knockdown of RP11-567G11.1 significantly attenuated proliferative and invasive abilities of 786-O and 769-P cells. Silence of RP11-567G11.1 attenuated viability, while it induced apoptosis in DDP-induced RCC cells. In addition, knockdown of RP11-567G11.1 remarkably down-regulated both mRNA and protein levels of Jagged1, HES5, and HEY1 in RCC. CONCLUSIONS RP11-567G11.1 accelerates the proliferative and invasive abilities of RCC through activating the Notch pathway. Our findings suggest that it may be a new therapeutic target for RCC.

Longitudinal Flow Decorrelations in Xe+Xe Collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.44 TeV with the ATLAS Detector. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2021; 126:122301. Abstract
The first measurement of longitudinal decorrelations of harmonic flow amplitudes v_{n} for n=2-4 in Xe+Xe collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.44 TeV is obtained using 3 μb^{-1} of data with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The decorrelation signal for v_{3} and v_{4} is found to be nearly independent of collision centrality and transverse momentum (p_{T}) requirements on final-state particles, but for v_{2} a strong centrality and p_{T} dependence is seen. When compared with the results from Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV, the longitudinal decorrelation signal in midcentral Xe+Xe collisions is found to be larger for v_{2}, but smaller for v_{3}. Current hydrodynamic models reproduce the ratios of the v_{n} measured in Xe+Xe collisions to those in Pb+Pb collisions but fail to describe the magnitudes and trends of the ratios of longitudinal flow decorrelations between Xe+Xe and Pb+Pb. The results on the system-size dependence provide new insights and an important lever arm to separate effects of the longitudinal structure of the initial state from other early and late time effects in heavy-ion collisions.

Abstract
Several extensions of the Standard Model predict the production of dark matter particles at the LHC. An uncharted signature of dark matter particles produced in association with VV=W^{±}W^{∓} or ZZ pairs from a decay of a dark Higgs boson s is searched for using 139 fb^{-1} of pp collisions recorded by the ATLAS detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The s→V(qq[over ¯])V(qq[over ¯]) decays are reconstructed with a novel technique aimed at resolving the dense topology from boosted VV pairs using jets in the calorimeter and tracking information. Dark Higgs scenarios with m_{s}>160 GeV are excluded.

Abstract
Type H vessel is a specific vessel subtype that is strongly positive for CD31 and endomucin (CD31hiEmcnhi). It has already been identified that it can tightly regulate the coupling of angiogenesis and osteogenesis in the long bone of mice and human beings. The long bone is formed through endochondral ossification, which is the same type of process happening in mandibular condyle. Although the ossification of long bone and mandibular condyle has the same developmental process, the existence of type H vessels in the mouse condyle remains unclear. To address this, we identified that abundant type H vessels existed in the subchondral bone of the mouse condylar head and endosteum of the mouse condylar neck. Meanwhile, immunofluorescence imaging of the condyles in different ages of male C57BL/6J mice demonstrated that type H vessels decreased while aging. Furthermore, we validated a positive correlation between type H vessels and Osterix+ osteoprogenitors in the condyle induced by mandibular advancement. Mechanistically, we confirmed that deferoxamine mesylate, which promoted the proliferation of type H endothelial cells by activating hypoxia-inducible factor 1α (HIF-1α) signaling pathways, largely prevented the osteopenia in the condyle induced by botulinum toxin type A. Collectively, these results demonstrate that in the mouse condyle, type H vessels in areas of high function positively correlate with bone formation. In addition, we show a novel influence of HIF-1α signaling on osteogenesis via an increase in type H vessels. In conclusion, promoting angiogenesis of type H vessels is a promising strategy for the therapeutic improvement of osteogenesis in mandibular condyle.
