Abstract
Objective: To analyze the occurrence and clinical characteristics of testicular adrenal rest tumor (TART) in 21-hydroxylase deficiency (21-OHD) patients, and further explore the possible factors related to the occurrence of TART. Methods: Twenty-seven male 21-OHD patients who visited Peking Union Medical College Hospital from January to December 2018 were enrolled and their clinical and biochemical data were collected. The CYP21A2 mutations were identified by Sanger sequencing and multiple ligation probe amplification (MLPA). Patients were divided into different subgroups according to the residual activity of 21-hydroxylase: Null (residual enzymatic activity 0, 3 cases), group A (0-<1%, 9 cases), group B (1%-5%, 7 cases), group C (20%-50%, 2 cases) and group D (6 cases). The ultrasound of testis was used to detect whether there was TART and its morphological characteristics. Results: Among 27 patients with 21-OHD [average age (17.4±9.3) years], 55.6% (15/27) had TART lesions, most of them were adolescents, and the youngest was only 4 years old. The lesions were mostly bilateral and hypoechoic. The levels of 17α-hydroxyprogesterone (17-OHP) and progesterone in patients with TART were higher than those in patients without TART [17-OHP: 199.6 (62.1, 232.7) nmol/L vs 7.4 (3.2, 105.0) nmol/L, P=0.003; progesterone: 97.1 (42.0, 126.8) nmol/L vs 5.4 (0.7, 20.0) nmol/L, P=0.004]. There was a correlation between the occurrence of TART and genotype of CYP21A2. Patients with Null and A genotypes were more likely to have TART than those with B and C genotypes (8/12 vs 4/9, P=0.021). Conclusions: TART is common in 21-OHD male patients, which is related to 17-OHP and CYP21A2 genotype. It is of great significance for the early screening of TART in 21-OHD patients.

Abstract
We used the epidemic data of COVID-19 published on the official website of the municipal health commissions in Anhui province to map the spatiotemporal changes of confirmed cases, fit the epidemic situation by the population growth curve at different stages and analyze the epidemic situation in Anhui Province. It was found that the cumulative incidence of COVID-19 was 156/100 000 by February 18, 2020 and the trend of COVID-19 epidemic declined after February 7 with a change from J-shaped curve to S-shaped curve. As the reporting time of cases might be 3-5 days later than the actual onset time, the number of new cases in Anhui province actually began to decline around February 2 to February 4, 2020.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the effect of parental rearing patterns and their consistency on the emotional and behavioral problems of preschool children. Methods: From October to November 2017, 27 987 children aged 3 to 6 years old from 109 kindergartens in 11 cities of Hubei, Anhui and Jiangsu Provinces were selected by using the cluster sampling method. A total of 27 200 valid questionnaires which were completed by subjects' parents were collected. The emotional and behavioral problems of preschool children were collected by "strengths and difficulties questionnaire" and the parental rearing patterns were evaluated by the "Parental Behavior Scale". The differences in emotional and behavioral abnormality rates of preschool children with different characteristics were analyzed; with emotional and behavioral problems as dependent variables and parental support/participation and compulsion/hostility as independent variables, the multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the effect of parental rearing patterns and their consistency on the emotional and behavioral problems of preschool children. Results: The age of children was (4.35±0.96) years old, and 51.4% of children were 13 975 males. There were 24 634 (90.6%) urban children and 17 916 (65.9%) only children. Both parents with strong support/participation accounted for 14.9%, and those with poor support/participation accounted for 11.9%; both parents with strong compulsion/hostility accounted for 15.2%, and those with low compulsion/hostility accounted for 11.3%. The rates of emotional symptoms, conduct behavior, hyperactive behavior, peer interaction, total difficulty score, and abnormal prosocial behavior of preschool children were 9.5%, 9.5%, 18.2%, 24.5%, 11.2%, and 10.2%, respectively. The multivariate logistic regression model analysis showed that after adjusting for gender, only child, living area, family economic status, mother's age and education level, father's education level, and other factors, compared with fathers/mothers with strong support/participation and low compulsion/hostility and parents with strong support/participation and low compulsion/hostility, preschool children who had fathers/mothers with poor support/participation and strong compulsion/hostility or parents with poor support/participation and strong compulsion/hostility were more likely to have emotional symptoms, conduct behavior, hyperactive behavior, peer interaction, total difficulty score, and abnormal prosocial behavior (P<0.05). Conclusions: Parental rearing patterns and their consistency are related to the emotional and behavioral problems of preschool children.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the detection of CYP21A2 gene mutations in 21-hydroxylase deficiency (21-OHD) patients, so as to determine the accuracy of clinical diagnosis. Methods: Totally, 514 patients with 21-OHD who visited Peking Union Medical College Hospital from January 2015 to January 2018 were enrolled and their clinical and biochemical data were collected. DNAs were extracted from peripheral blood leukocytes and CYP21A2 mutations were detected by Sanger sequencing and multiple ligation probe amplification (MLPA) technique. We divided 514 patients into three groups: two mutations of CYP21A2 alleles (group A), one mutation of CYP21A2 (group B), and no mutation of CYP21A2 (group C). Results: Mutation was detected in each allele of CYP21A2 gene in 401 (78.0%) patients, ninety (17.5%) had only one mutant allele and 23 (4.5%) had no mutation. There was no significant difference between the patients with different clinical phenotypes and the number of CYP21A2 gene mutations detected. In male, the cortisol of the patients with simple virilizing 21-OHD in group A [0.04 (0.02, 0.20) nmol/L] was lower than that of group B [0.24 (0.17, 0.28) nmol/L] and the difference was statistically significant (P=0.014). In female, 17-hydroxyprogesterone (17-OHP) of patients with salt wasting 21-OHD in group A [153.7 (90.1, 204.5) nmol/L] was higher than that of group B [38.2 (31.0, 183.3) nmol/L] and C [42.6 (27.8, 48.1) nmol/L] and the differences were statistically significant (both P<0.05). The progesterone of patients with simple virilizing 21-OHD in group C [23.0 (8.6, 33.2) nmol/L] was lower than that of gourp A [57.8 (34.4, 110.2) nmol/L] and B [63.6 (31.4, 110.8) nmol/L] and the difference were statistically significant (both P<0.05). The 17-OHP of patients with non-classical 21-OHD in group C [24.5 (20.4, 54.2) nmol/L] was lower than that of group A [158.7 (59.1, 187.6) nmol/L] and B [147.8 (131.9, 179.3) nmol/L]. The difference were statistically significant (both P<0.05). Conclusions: Mutations of two alleles have not been found in all patients with clinically diagnosed 21-OHD. Other congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) types which can cause similar changes in 17-OHP and other hormones may be misdiagnosed as 21-OHD. Therefore, 21-OHD cannot be diagnosed with help of 17-OHP level only, and gene detection plays a vital role in the differential diagnosis of different CAH types.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the copy number variation of CYP21A2 gene in 21-hydroxylase deficiency (21-OHD) patients, and identify the three copy repetition, single copy deletion of CYP21A2 gene and the type and proportion of CYP21A1P/CYP21A2 fused gene in 21-OHD patients. Methods: A total of 424 patients (140 males and 284 females) with 21-OHD who visited Peking Union Medical College Hospital from January 2015 to January 2018 were enrolled and the average age was (17.1±12.4) years. All clinical and biochemical data were collected. DNAs were extracted from peripheral blood leukocytes, and CYP21A2 gene mutation and copy number variation were detected by Sanger sequencing and multiple ligation probe amplification (MLPA). Results: Of 424 21-OHD patients, 287 (67.7%) had two copies of CYP21A2 gene, 137 (32.3%) had copy number variation, of which 1 patients (0.2%) had 3 copies of CYP21A2 gene and 136 (32.1%) were carriers of large deletion/rearrangement mutation of CYP21A2 gene. Three pathogenic mutations including a truncated Q319X protein mutation were detected in the patient with 3 copies of CYP21A2 gene. Of 136 patients with large deletion/rearrangement mutation of CYP21A2 gene, 82 (60.3%) carried fused CYP21A1P/CYP21A2 gene, and the remaining 54 harbored the one allele deletion of CYP21A2. The most common types of fused CYP21A1P/CYP21A2 gene were CH-5, CH-1 and CH-2, with the frequency being 31.7% (26 cases), 26.8% (22 cases) and 19.5% (16 cases), respectively, and followed by CH-4 and CH-7, with the incidence being 8.5% (7 cases) and 4.9% (4 cases), respectively. In addition, two cases of CH-3, CH-6 and CH-8 and one case of CH-9 were detected. Conclusions: This is the first study to detect the occurrence of CYP21A2 gene copy number variation and fused CYP21A1P/CYP21A2 gene in a large cohort of 21-OHD patients. The number of CYP21A2 gene copies in 21-OHD patients includes 2 copies, 1 copy deletion and 3 copies duplication. One copy deletion of CYP21A2 includes one allele deletion of CYP21A2 gene and fused CYP21A1P/CYP21A2 gene. In patients with 3 copies of CYP21A2 gene, pathogenic mutations should be verified in all 3 copies of CYP21A2 gene to make the precise diagnosis. Therefore, the accurate molecular diagnosis of 21-OHD patients should take both genotype and copy number variation of CYP21A2 into account.

Abstract
Cytochrome P450 family is a kind of biocatalyst widely existing in nature. It has many functions such as catalyzing the biosynthesis of plant secondary metabolites and regulating phytoremediation. Based on the analysis of proteome data of Tripterygium wilfordii,the CYP450 gene of T. wilfordii was preliminarily analyzed and predicted by various bioinformatics methods. The results showed that after the expression of T. wilfordii suspension cells was induced by methyl jasmonate,the proteomic data of T. wilfordii were obtained and analyzed,and 10 CYP450 proteins of T. wilfordii were finally screened out. By analyzing the phylogenetic tree constructed with CYP450 gene of Arabidopsis family,the 10 CYP450 proteins were clustered into 6 different CYP450 families. The physical and chemical properties of CYP450 proteins in different families were different. The secondary structure of CYP450 proteins was mainly composed of irregular curls. Eight subcellular localization results of CYP450 proteins were chloroplasts and the rest were plastids. Subsequently,the conserved domains( heme active sites) shared by CYP450 genes were found by analyzing the results of multiple sequence alignment. Finally,by analyzing the transcriptome data of T. wilfordii,the expression distribution of T. wilfordii in different tissues was preliminarily confirmed,which verified its correlation with the biosynthesis of active components of T. wilfordii,and provided important genetic resources for the analysis of biosynthesis pathway of active components of T. wilfordii.

Abstract
Terpenoids are main bioactive components in Tripterygium wilfordii,but the contents of some terpenoids are relatively low. In order to provide scientific evidence for the regulation of terpenoids in T. wilfordii,this research explored the effect of GR24 on accumulations of four diterpenoids( triptolide,tripterifordin,triptophenolide,and triptinin B) in T. wilfordii suspension cells by biological technology and UPLC-QQQ-MS/MS. The results indicated that 100 μmol·L-1 GR24 inhibited the accumulations of triptolide,tripterifordin,triptophenolide,and triptinin B to different degrees. Compared with the control group,the contents of 4 diterpenoids( in the induced group) were down to 96.59%,63.80%,61.02% and 33.59% in 240 h,respectively. Among them,the accumulation of triptinin B iswas significantly inhibited. In addition,the key time point of inhibitory effect was 120 h after induction with GR24 in some diterpenoids. This is the first systematic study focusing on the effect of GR24 on the accumulations of diterpenoids in T. wilfordii suspension cells. The dynamic accumulation ruleregularity of four diterpenoids after induced by GR24 was summarized,which laid a foundation for further study on the chemical response mechanism of terpenoids to GR24.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze clinical effects of modified Yokoyama's surgery combined with medial rectus muscle recession for treatment of high myopic strabismus fixus. Methods: Retrospective analysis of records of 9 patients (14 eyes) with high myopic strabismus fixus treated from February 2013 to December 2016 in the Department of Ophthalmology, Xiangya Hospital, Central South University. All patients underwent modified Yokoyama's surgery. The temporal 1/2 of the superior rectus (SR) and the superior 1/2 of the lateral rectus (LR) were united 12 to 14 mm, combined with medial rectus muscle recession. The angle of deviation of primary position, the mobility of the affected eye, and the change of CT imaging were observed and analyzed before and 6 months after surgery. Statistical analysis was performed by Mann-Whitney U test. Results: The patients were 5 females and 4 males with an average age of (60±10) years. The duration of high myopia was (33.33±6.61) years. The refractive power was (-23.32±5.95) D, and the axial length was (33.04±2.63) mm. The recession mount of medial rectus was (7.2±2.1) mm (4.0-10.0 mm) intraoperatively. At 6 months, the median esotropia improved from 130 (80-140) prism diopter (PD) to 0 (0-10) PD, and the hypotropia from 20 (15-25) PD to 0 (0-5) PD. The median abduction limitation decreased from -3 (-4--1) to -1 (-2-0), and the median limitation of elevation decreased from -2 (-4--1) to 0 (-1-0). The angle of esotropia and hypotropia significantly improved (Z=-2.67, -2.70; P=0.008, 0.007), and the restriction of abduction and elevation decreased (Z=-3.35, -3.24; both P=0.001). Only 3 patients' CT images were enrolled in a comparative study. Preoperative orbital CT scans showed inferior LR displacement and medial SR displacement with the posterior portion of the eyeball to the superotemporal quadrant of the orbit. After surgery, the mean reduction ratio of dislocation degree of the 3 patients was 28.97%, the dislocation of LR and SR was reduced, and the posterior global part was correctly positioned within the orbit. Conclusions: The modified Yokoyama's surgery combined with medial rectus muscle recession can effectively correct high myopic strabismus fixus, recover the eyeball anatomical position, and evidently improve eye mobility. Abstract
Objective: To analyze the types of dietary patterns of women during pregnancy in Shaanxi and their association with adverse pregnancy outcomes. Methods: Data were derived from a cross-sectional program named "The prevalence and risk factors of birth defects in Shaanxi Province" from July to November in 2013. A multi-stage stratified random sampling method was used to extract 15 980 women of childbearing age who met the inclusion exclusion criteria from Shaanxi Province. The questionnaire obtained information such as the pregnancy outcome and the food intake of the study subjects during pregnancy. The dietary pattern was extracted by factor analysis, and the each dietary pattern of subjects were divided into T(1)-T(3) groups according to the factor score. The effects of each dietary pattern on major adverse pregnancy outcomes were estimated by unconditional logistic regression model. Results: Four dietary patterns were established:vegetarian pattern, balanced pattern, traditional pattern, and processing pattern. The multivariate logistic regression model results showed that compared with the vegetarian pattern T(2) group, the T(1) group had lower risk of low birth weight (OR=0.56, 95%CI: 0.41-0.83), and the T(3) group had higher risk of low birth weight in offspring (OR=2.32, 95%CI: 1.59-3.89); compared with the traditional pattern T(2) group, the T(3) group had higher risk of premature (OR=2.62, 95%CI: 1.58-5.01); compared with the balanced pattern T(2) group, the T(3) group had a lower risk of spontaneous abortion (OR=0.73, 95%CI: 0.36-0.89); compared with the processing pattern T(2) group, the T(3) group had a higher risk of spontaneous abortion (OR=1.97, 95%CI: 1.36-3.34) and higher risk of stillbirth (OR=2.96, 95%CI: 1.49-6.26), and the T(1) group had a lower risk of stillbirths in offspring (OR=0.52, 95%CI: 0.33-0.83). Conclusion: The women of childbearing age in Shaanxi have different dietary patterns, and there may be a correlation between dietary patterns and adverse pregnancy outcomes.

Abstract
Experiments on turbulence structures and features of a wind field under steady inflow and gusty wind inflows were implemented in a straight-through wind tunnel. Streamwise and wall-normal velocity components were measured using a streamline constant temperature anemometer (streamline CTA). Power spectra analyses revealed the existence of very large-scale motions (VLSMs) under both steady and gusty wind inflows; but new gusty scale motions (GSMs) were revealed under only gusty wind inflows. The GSMs might originate from an ordered external driving force that forces hairpin packets to align coherently in groups with a length scale related to the gust inflow condition. The streamwise wavelength of VLSMs is independent of inflow conditions, while the turbulent energy of VLSMs is associated with the wall-normal height and local mean streamwise velocity. In particular, the streamwise wavelength of GSMs increases linearly with the average value and period of sinusoidal gusty wind inflows, and the turbulent energy of GSMs is sensitive to the wall-normal height and all characteristic parameters of gusty wind inflows, including the average value, amplitude and period. Considerable wall-normal airflows induced by gusty wind inflows were detected and these are negatively correlated with the variation in gusty streamwise velocity, and root mean square (RMS) values of the gusty wall-normal velocity tended to increase linearly with the average value and amplitude of gusty wind inflows.

Abstract
HOTAIR has been reported to be associated with development and metastasis in different types of cancer. This meta- analysis collected all relevant articles and explored the correlation of HOTAIR with lymph node metastasis (LNM) and distant metastasis (DM). A literature collection was conducted by searching PubMed, Web of Science, Google Scholar and Cochrane Library (up to Sep 11, 2016). The odds ratio (OR) with 95% confidence interval (95% CI) was calculated to assess the association with strength. Nineteen studies were included in this study, with a total of 1874 patients. The study objects were all Asians. We found high HOTAIR expression in tumor tissues was significantly correlated with LNM and DM, and analysis showed a pooled OR of 3.18 (95% CI: 2.10-4.81, p<0.00001) and 3.93 (95% CI: 2.39-6.47, p<0.00001), respectively. HOTAIR may serve as a novel diagnostic biomarker for cancer metastasis.

Abstract
Objective: To observe the changes of sex hormone and sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) levels in young male patients with hyperthyroidism before and after antithyroid drug (ATD) treatment. Methods: Between January 2015 and July 2016, forty male patients with hyperthyroidism aged 19-52 years (with an median age of 33.1 years) were enrolled in the Department of Endocrinology of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. Blood samples were taken before treatment and at 1 month, 2 months, 3 months and 5 months after treatment to evaluate thyroid function, follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), testosterone(T), free testosterone(FT), estradiol(E2), prolactin and SHBG. Results: A total of 40 patients were enrolled but only 35 patients completed the follow-up. The patients had high levels of thyroid function, SHBG and sex hormones before treatment. Before treatment, free thyroxine (FT(4)), free triiodothyronine (FT(3)), SHBG, LH, estradiol, testosterone and free testosterone was (0.30±0.12) pmol/L, (9.68±4.73) pmol/L, (146±111) nmol/L, (8.41±3.61) U/L, (19.9±7.7) pmol/L, (29.9±9.5) nmol/L and (0.24±0.08) nmol/L, respectively. After treatment, the level of triiodothyronine, thyroxine, FT(3) and FT(4) gradually decreased to normal (all P<0.001). Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) gradually increased to normal (P<0.001). LH and estradiol levels gradually decreased (all P<0.001). FSH decreased but the difference was not statistically significant. Prolactin did not change significantly. Testosterone and SHBG levels decreased significantly while the levels of free testosterone, free testosterone percentage (FT%), bio-available testosterone (BAT), bio-available testosterone percentage (BAT%), free androgen index (FAI) gradually increased and stabilized (all P<0.001). The difference was not statistically significant between T/LH and E2/LH before and after treatment (all P>0.05). However FT/LH gradually increased and its difference was statistically significant (P<0.001). Conclusion: The levels of LH, estradiol, testosterone and SHBG in male patients with hyperthyroidism significantly increased, while the free testosterone level decreased, but they all gradually returned to normal with the lowering of thyroid hormone levels during ATD treatment.

Abstract
Objective: The urine concentrations of phthalate metabolites were used to estimate the cumulative risk assessment in preschool children in Ma'anshan of Anhui province. Methods: Based on the China-Anhui Birth Cohort, the demographic information and urine samples of 3 743 children were collected in Ma'anshan from April 2014 to April 2015. The concentrations of 7 metabolites' [monomethyl phthalate (MMP), monoethyl phthalate (MEP), monobutyl phthalate (MBP), monobenzyl phthalate (MBzP), mono (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (MEHP), mono (2-ethyl- 5-oxohexyl) phthalate (MEOHP) and mono (2-ethyl-5-hydroxyhexyl) phthalate (MEHHP)] of 5 phthalates [dimethyl phthalate (DMP), diethyl phthalate (DEP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), butyl benzyl phthalate (BBzP), and di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)] in the urine samples of the children were measured by solid-phase extration-triple quadrupole high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry-isotope method. In addition, the estimated daily intakes (EDIs) of 5 phthalates were calculated according to the metabolites' concentrations. Cumulative risk assessment was performed using hazard quotient (HQ) and hazard index (HI) methods. Results: The M (Q(R)) of seven metabolite concentrations were 29.58 (18.69-48.26), 26.65 (13.44-56.09), 256.86 (150.99-438.51), 0.12 (0.04-0.32), 6.27 (3.71-11.13), 17.94 (11.94-28.42) and 24.80 (16.05-40.32) μg/g creatinine, respectively. For the EDIs of 5 phthalates, DBP ranked first, followed by DEHP, DMP, DEP and BBzP with the M (Q(R)) of 7.54 (4.41-12.85), 3.35 (2.20-5.42), 0.75 (0.47-1.24), 0.71 (0.36-1.52) and 0.003 (0.001-0.009) μg/(kg·d), respectively. The HQ and HI varied with age, gender and sampling season, the differences were significant (P<0.05). Conclusions: These results indicated that risk of cumulative exposure to phthalates was high in preschool children aged 3-6 years in Ma'anshan. Age, gender and sampling season were influencing factors.

Abstract
Objective: To understand the prevalence of hypertension and quantitative relationship between family history and the risk of hypertension among rural residents living in Hanzhong District, Shaanxi province. Methods: A multistage random sampling survey was conducted. Data on the characteristics related to hypertension were collected and physical examination was conducted. Logistic regression was used to analyze the relationship between family history and hypertension. Results: A total number of 2 817 rural residents aged 18-80 with complete information were recruited. The crude prevalence of hypertension was 33.7%. Results from the logistic regression analysis showed that the OR was 2.06 (95% CI: 1.70-2.50) between family histories with or without hypertension. When the first-degree relatives were with the degrees of family history of hypertention as Ⅰ, Ⅱ or Ⅲ, the OR values of hypertension appeared as 1.83 (95% CI: 1.47-2.27), 2.94 (95% CI: 2.09-4.13) and 4.48 (95% CI: 2.17-9.27) respectively. Either father or mother having the positive family history of hypertension, the corresponding OR values appeared as 2.50 (95% CI: 1.84-3.40), 1.61(95% CI: 1.22-2.12) seen in mothers. However, when both father and mother having the family history of hypertention, the OR value was seen 2.82 (95%CI: 1.76-4.51) in the mothers. Conclusion: Family history appeared as a risk factor for hypertension. The number of first-degree relatives with positive family history showed a dose-response relationship to the occurrence of hypertension. Family history in both father or mother might further affect the incidence of hypertension.

Abstract
Objective: To study the procedure of CYP21A2 gene mutation detection in 21-hydroxylase deficiency (21-OHD) patients. Methods: The detail clinical and biochemical data of 51 patients with 21-OHD [18 males and 33 females, with an average age of (16.4±9.9) years] were collected between December 2016 and December 2017 at Department of Endocrinology, Peking Union Medical College Hospital. Multiplex ligation dependent probe amplification (MLPA) and Sanger sequencing of the CYP21A2 gene were used to clarify the cause of 21-OHD. The genotype-phenotype correlation was also analyzed. Results: The incidences of large deletion, 8 bp deletion, I2G, I172N and F306+T were 19.6% (20/102), 1.0% (1/102), 30.4% (31/102), 25.5% (26/102) and 1.0%(1/102), respectively, and the detection rate of gene mutation in 51 21-OHD patients was 77.5% (79/102) by MLPA test. Except large and 8 bp deletion, all above mutations contained in MLPA and other 8 mutations, including P31L, Q319X, R361L, R357W, V282L, R484Q, G425S and R342W were detected, and the detection rate was 79.4% (81/102) by Sanger sequencing of CYP21A2. MLPA combined with direct sequencing identified mutations in all patients. Genotype correlated well with clinical phenotype in 21-OHD patients. Conclusions: When MLPA or CYP21A2 gene sequencing were used alone to diagnose the cause of 21-OHD, gene mutations in all patients could not be detected. The combination of the two methods can complement each other and fully clarify the underlying causes of 21-OHD.

Abstract
Objective: To examine the relationship of nighttime sleep duration and bedtime with preschool children's obesity, and to explore possible early life risk factors for childhood obesity. Methods: A total of 14 946 valid children from 16 439 pre-school children aged 3-6 years in 91 kindergartens in Ma'anshan city participated in the study. The body mass index cut-offs for overweight and obesity in Chinese children and adolescents aged 2-18 years was used as the criterion for judging overweight and obesity, and pathological and secondary causes of obesity were excluded. The associations of nighttime sleep duration and bedtime with preschool children's obesity was analyzed by using non-conditional multivariate binary logistic regression model. Results: Among the preschool children, 22.4% (n=3 345) had shorter sleep duration. 9.5% (n=1 415) had bedtimes after 22:00 on weekdays and 21.8% (n=3 260) had bedtimes after 22:00 on weekends. The prevalence of overweight and obesity were 16.5% (n=2 466) and 10.5% (n=1 562), respectively. After the adjustent of age, gender, whether or not only child, residence in the last six months, parents' body mass index parents' educational level, diet preference, outdoor activities, TV viewing duration, sleep duration, bedtime on weekdays and weekends, only the shorter sleep duration (OR=1.25, 95%CI: 1.03-1.51) was still positively associated with the prevalence of obesity in preschool children. Conclusion: Shorter sleep duration was positively associated with the prevalence of obesity among preschool children.

Abstract
KEY MESSAGE In the soybean cultivar Suweon 97, BCMV-resistance gene was fine-mapped to a 58.1-kb region co-localizing with the Soybean mosaic virus (SMV)-resistance gene, Rsv1-h raising a possibility that the same gene is utilized against both viral pathogens. Certain soybean cultivars exhibit resistance against soybean mosaic virus (SMV) or bean common mosaic virus (BCMV). Although several SMV-resistance loci have been reported, the understanding of the mechanism underlying BCMV resistance in soybean is limited. Here, by crossing a resistant cultivar Suweon 97 with a susceptible cultivar Williams 82 and inoculating 220 F2 individuals with a BCMV strain (HZZB011), we observed a 3:1 (resistant/susceptible) segregation ratio, suggesting that Suweon 97 possesses a single dominant resistance gene against BCMV. By performing bulked segregant analysis with 186 polymorphic simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers across the genome, the resistance gene was determined to be linked with marker BARSOYSSR_13_1109. Examining the genotypes of nearby SSR markers on all 220 F2 individuals then narrowed down the gene between markers BARSOYSSR_13_1109 and BARSOYSSR_13_1122. Furthermore, 14 previously established F2:3 lines showing crossovers between the two markers were assayed for their phenotypes upon BCMV inoculation. By developing six more SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism) markers, the resistance gene was finally delimited to a 58.1-kb interval flanked by BARSOYSSR_13_1114 and SNP-49. Five genes were annotated in this interval of the Williams 82 genome, including a characteristic coiled-coil nucleotide-binding site-leucine-rich repeat (CC-NBS-LRR, CNL)-type of resistance gene, Glyma13g184800. Coincidentally, the SMV-resistance allele Rsv1-h was previously mapped to almost the same region, thereby suggesting that soybean Suweon 97 likely relies on the same CNL-type R gene to resist both viral pathogens.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of soluble Semaphorin 5A(Sema 5A) in patients of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) and the effect of Sema 5A on osteoclastogenesis in RAW264.7 cells. Methods: (1)Soluble Sema 5A was detected in the serum of 62 RA patients, 30 osteoarthritis(OA) patients and 48 healthy controls(HC) by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The relationships between serum Sema 5A and disease activity, radiographic severity and laboratory parameters were investigated in RA patients.(2)RAW264.7 cells were treated with different concentrations of Sema 5A(0,0.5,1,2.5,5 μg/ml).After 7 days, tartrate-resistant acid phosphate(TRAP) staining was performed. The mRNA levels of TRAP, cathepsin-K and matrix metallopeptidase 9(MMP-9) were tested using real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).(3)Bone resorption area of dentine slides cultured with RAW264.7 cells was calculated after Sema 5A(5μg/ml) treatment. Results: (1)The serum Sema 5A in RA patients[(5.24±0.59)μg/L] was significantly higher than those in healthy controls[(2.93±0.34)μg/L,P<0.01] and OA patients[(2.68±0.47)μg/L,P<0.05]. The Sema 5A level in RA patients was positively correlated with disease activity score with 28 joint using C-reactive protein(DAS28-CRP), clinical disease activity index (CDAI),C-reactive protein(CRP) and sharp scores(P<0.05 or P<0.01).In addition,the serum Sema 5A in RA patients with positive anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide(CCP) antibody was significantly greater than that of anti-CCP antibody-negative patients(P<0.05).(2)After RAW264.7 cells were treated with Sema 5A, the number of TRAP positive osteoclasts increased according to the increase of Sema 5A concentration with maximal effect at 5 μg/ml. Meanwhile, Sema 5A promoted mRNA expression of TRAP,Cathepsin-K and MMP-9.(3)Bone resorption area increased when RAW264.7 cells were treated with Sema 5A(5 μg/ml). Conclusions: Serum Sema 5A is elevated in RA patients and correlated with disease activity and radiographic severity. Sema 5A promotes osteoclastogenesis of RAW264.7 cells.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical features and management of male patients with adult-onset idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (AIHH). Methods: Clinical features and treatment of six patients with AIHH between January 2010 and June 2017 were retrospectively reviewed. Results: The patients were all male, with an age of 26 (20-35) years old and they experienced complete pubertal development. The main complaints were decreased libido, erectile dysfunction and gynecomastia. Physical examination found that the testicular size was 15 (12-20) ml and they were fully virilized. The serum luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and total testosterone was 0.1 (0.1-0.8) U/L, 0.4 (0.1-0.9) U/L and 0.62 (0.10-0.90) nmol/L, respectively. Pituitary MRI and other pituitary hormones were all normal. Testosterone was administrated to three patients and the libido and erectile function returned to normal. Sperm was successfully induced in two patients after combined gonadotropin therapy for 4-6 months. One patient had a reversed hypothalamus-pituitary-testis axis function. Conclusions: The mechanism of male AIHH is unknown. Compared to those with congenital hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, patients with AIHH may achieve better spermatogenesis after gonadotropin therapy. Small portion of patients may have a reversal of hypothalamus-pituitary-testis axis function.

Abstract
Nanocrystalline (NC) materials have fascinating physical and chemical properties, thereby they exhibit great prospects in academic and industrial fields. Highly efficient approaches for fabricating bulk NC materials have been pursued extensively over past decades. However, the instability of nanograin, which is sensitive to processing parameters (such as temperature and time), is always a challenging issue to be solved and remains to date. Herein, we report an ultrafast nanostructuring strategy, namely ultrasonic vibration consolidation (UVC). The strategy utilizes internal friction heat, generated from mutually rubbing between Ti-based metallic glass powders, to heat the glassy alloy rapidly through its supercooled liquid regime, and accelerated viscous flow bonds the powders together. Consequently, bulk NC-Ti alloy with grain size ranging from 10 to 70 nm and nearly full density is consolidated in 2 seconds. The novel consolidation approach proposed here offers a general and highly efficient pathway for manufacturing bulk nanomaterials.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the pituitary hormone changes of patients with craniopharyngioma of different growth patterns during perioperative period and follow up time. Methods: Retrospective studies were performed on 212 cases of primary craniopharyngioma patient who received total tumor excision surgery in our hospital from January 2001 to May 2012. The characteristics of pituitary hormone and associated clinical manifestation during preoperative, perioperative and postoperative periods were analyzed according to the QST surgical classification. Results: One hundred and seventy-seven (83.5%) of patients present preoperative hypopituitarism, 36 of them were panhypopituitarism. The hypopituitarism condition was exacerbated during the early stage of post-operation period. The abnormal rates of HPA and HPT during the follow up were 60.1% and 58.3% respectively and hormone replacement treatment was needed for these patients. Craniopharyngioma of different growth patterns showed diversities in the characteristics of hypopituitarism. Conclusion: QST surgical classification was closely associated with the pattern of hypopituitarism, it can help to optimize treatment and prognosis estimation, and could be important criterion for improving the clinical practice of neuroendocrine monitoring, treatment and health education of patients with craniopharyngioma.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effects of recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) on metabolic parameters in patients with craniopharyngioma surgeries. Methods: Totallys 30 patients with craniopharyngioma were included in this retrospective study. They were divided into growth hormone (GH) group and control group according to whether they received rhGH therapy or not. The following parameters, including body mass index (BMI), weight, waist circumstance, transaminase, fasting blood glucose, lipid profile and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) were compared after rhGH therapy for 4-6 months. Results: In GH group, patients were 18-46 (30.0±8.8) years old. The duration after craniopharyngioma surgery was (12.9±5.4) years. Before rhGH therapy, they had got sufficient thyroid and glucocorticoid hormone replacement. After rhGH therapy, the body weight decreased from (92.3±20.1) to (87.6 ±14.6) kg (P=0.190), with a reduction of BMI from (30.1±5.9) to (28.2±3.7) kg/m(2) (P=0.120). The waist circumference decreased from (104.4±9.4) cm to (98.8±10.6) cm (P=0.002). Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) decreased from (52±34) to (28±19) U/L (P=0.029), with a reduction of aspartate transaminase (AST) from (46±21) to (33±18) U/L (P=0.035) and γ-glutamyl transpeptadase (GGT) from (59±42) to (29±15) U/L (P=0.02). hsCRP decreased from (5.3±4.9) to (2.3±2.8) mg/L (P=0.006) and triglyceride (TG) decreased from (1.8±0.7) to (1.5±0.6) mmol/L (P=0.028). Fasting blood glucose, low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and free fat acid (FFA) were not significantly changed(all P>0.05). In the control group, the above mentioned parameters did not changed significantly during 4-6 months of observational period(all P>0.05). Conclusion: rhGH therapy improves metabolic parameters in patients after craniopharyngioma surgery by decreasing body weight, waist circumstance and fat deposit in liver, as well as lowering TG and hsCRP levels.

Abstract
Objective: To understand the prevalence of prenatal supplementations of iron, iron-containing multi-micronutrients (IMMN) and antianemic Chinese patent medicines (ACPM) and associated factors in women in Shaanxi province. Methods: A sample of 28 367 childbearing-age women who gave birth during 2010-2013 and had specific information of the prenatal nutrients supplementation were recruited using stratified multistage cluster random sampling in Shaanxi province. The information about their basic characteristics and prenatal supplementation of nutrients were collected by a questionnaire survey. Descriptive analysis method was used to analyze the intake rate of iron, IMMN and ACPM during each period of pregnancy, and logistic regression model was used to identify associated factors. Results: The overall prevalence of prenatal iron, IMMN and ACPM supplementation was low (28.99%), and the intake rate of iron was the lowest (5.33%). The prevalence of prenatal supplementation of iron, IMMN and ACPM were lower before pregnancy and in the first trimester than in the second and third trimester. The intake rates for consecutive 2 periods were very low (all were lower than 2.00%). The intake rates of iron, IMMN and ACPM significantly increased year by year. Women living in central Shaanxi had relatively high intake rates of iron (7.22%) and IMMN (16.55%), and women in southern Shaanxi had relatively high intake rate of ACPM (18.50%). The results of logistic regression analysis showed that higher educational level (OR=1.920, 95%CI: 1.617-2.279), antenatal care times≥6 (OR=1.832, 95%CI: 1.604-2.091), etc. were the positive factors for iron intake, and these positive factors were similar to those for IMMN intake. Additionally, rural residence was the negative factor for IMMN intake (compared with urban residence, OR=0.872, 95%CI: 0.788-0.966). Conversely, higher educational level (OR=0.855, 95%CI: 0.746-0.979), higher household income (OR=0.864, 95%CI: 0.796-0.938) were negative factors for ACPM intake, and rural residence was its positive factor (OR=1.285, 95%CI: 1.141-1.447). Conclusions: The prevalence of prenatal supplementation of iron, IMMN and ACPM were low in women in Shaanxi, especially the intake rate of iron was the lowest. The prophylactic iron supplementation before pregnancy or in the first trimester was rare. Measures should be taken to improve the prenatal supplementation of iron in Shaanxi and to standardize the clinical use of ACPM.
