Abstract
Detention pond is a key storm water management measure employed both to attenuate surface runoff and to regulate depression storage, yet the effects of aquaculture ponds and reservoirs on runoff coefficient are not well quantified in a subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, China. Here, a set of six subcatchments ranging in size from 0.7 hm2 to 10,000 hm2 were evaluated over the 2011-2015 period. (i) The annual average runoff coefficient differed with different subcatchments due to the spatial heterogeneity of landscape patterns, while the event-based runoff coefficient under the same catchment showed a decreasing trend with increasing rainfall intensity. (ii) The annual average and event-based runoff coefficients initially increased and then decreased with an increase in the area ratio of aquaculture ponds and reservoirs. The critical area ratio of aquaculture ponds and reservoirs for the maximum runoff coefficient in annual, light, and moderate rainfall intensity was about 4%; but this value would be transferred forward to the position of < 4% under the intensity of heavy rain, rainstorms, and heavy rainstorms. (iii) All runoff coefficients decreased with increasing forestland but increased with increasing paddy fields, and the decreasing rate was greater than the increasing rate. The trends of runoff coefficient for the annual and event-based rainfall are opposite between river development coefficient and watershed shape coefficient. The results provide underlying insights for decision-makers in aquaculture land-use planning and the sustainable utilization of water resources in the upstream and downstream systems of a catchment.

Abstract
Sulfoquinovose (SQ) is one of the most abundant organosulfur compounds in the biosphere, and its biosynthesis and degradation can represent an important contribution to the sulfur cycle. To data, in marine environments, the microorganisms capable of metabolising SQ have remained unidentified and the sources of SQ are still uncertain. Herein, the marine Roseobacter clade bacteria (RCB) Dinoroseobacter shibae DFL 12 and Roseobacter denitrificans OCh 114 were found to grow using SQ as the sole source of carbon and energy. In the presence of SQ, we identified a set of highly up-regulated proteins encoded by gene clusters in these two organisms, of which four homologues to proteins in the SQ monooxygenase pathway of Agrobacterium fabrum C58 may confer the ability to metabolise SQ to these marine bacteria. The sulfite released from SQ desulfonation by FMN-dependent SQ monooxygenase (SmoC) may provide bacteria with reduced sulfur for assimilation, while proteins associated with sulfite production via assimilatory sulfate reduction were significantly down-regulated. Such SQ catabolic genes are restricted to a limited number of phylogenetically diverse bacterial taxa with the predominate genera belonging to the Roseobacter clade (Roseobacteraceae). Moreover, transcript analysis of Tara Oceans project and coastal Bohai Sea samples provided additional evidence for SQ metabolism by RCB. SQ was found to be widely distributed in marine phytoplankton and cyanobacteria with variable intracellular concentrations ranging from micromolar to millimolar levels, and the amounts of SQ on particulate organic matter in field samples were, on average, lower than that of dimethylsulfoniopropionate (DMSP) by one order of magnitude. Together, the phototroph-derived SQ actively metabolised by RCB represents a previously unidentified link in the marine sulfur cycle.

Abstract
Combined crown and post-and-core treatment often requires multiple intermittent appointments and takes a long time. This article describes a novel method for simultaneously fabricating a custom glass fiber post-and-core and the corresponding crown. The critical step, defined as a post-and-core virtual try-in, is to construct a virtual crown abutment that mimics the profile of a real one gained after post-cementation and tooth preparation. The fully digital workflow optimizes the treatment and saves time by accomplishing restorations on the first visit.

Abstract
Objective: To reclassify the flat type sudden deafness according to the types of audiogram shape, and to explore the correlation between different pattern of hearing loss and prognosis. Methods: All of 1 024 patients with unilateral sudden deafness (492 males and 532 females, aged from 19 to 65 years, with an average age of 41.2 years old) admitted to 33 hospitals nationwide from August 2007 to October 2011 were divided into four types according to Chinese Guideline of Sudden Deafness(2015): low-frequency, high-frequency, flat and total deafness. Then, 402 patients with flat type sudden deafness were further divided into ascending type, descending type and consistent type according to the audiogram shapes. First, we compared the clinical characteristics and prognosis among these three subtypes of flat deafness, then compared the clinical characteristics and prognosis between ascending flat deafness and low-frequency deafness, descending flat deafness and high-frequency deafness, consistent flat deafness and total deafness, explored the factors related to the prognosis of flat deafness. SPSS 21.0 software, ANOVA, χ2 test, t-test and Logistic regression were used to analyze the data. Results: The cure rates of flat ascending, flat descending and flat consistent sudden deafness groups were 70.7%, 17.1% and 34.0% respectively, with a statistically significant difference (χ2=33.984, P<0.001); However, there was no significant difference in age, sex and affected side (all P>0.05). The independent related factors for the recovery of flat type sudden deafness were as follows: whether there was dizziness [OR=0.459; 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.271-0.777], the type of audiogram shape (OR=0.721; 95%CI: 0.530-0.981), and days from onset to therapy (OR=0.903, 95%CI: 0.835-0.978), all of which had P values<0.05. There was no significant difference in the cure rates between ascending flat sudden deafness and low-frequency descending sudden deafness, descending flat sudden deafness and high-frequency descending sudden deafness (all P>0.05). The pure tone average(PTA) of flat consistent sudden deafness and total deafness were (69.1±18.9) and (101.7±17.7) dB HL, respectively, with a statistically significant difference (t=20.890, P<0.001), and the cure rates were 34.0% and 14.5%, respectively, with a statistically significant difference (χ2=29.012, P<0.001). Conclusion: According to the audiogram shape, the flat type sudden deafness can be further divided into ascending flat sudden deafness, descending flat sudden deafness and consistent flat sudden deafness, which can more effectively evaluate the prognosis. The cure rate of ascending flat sudden deafness is similar to that of low-frequency sudden deafness, and the prognosis is well; The cure rate of descending flat sudden deafness is similar to that of high-frequency descending sudden deafness, and the prognosis is poor. The cure rate of consistent flat sudden deafness is higher than that of total deafness. PTA plays an important role in the prognosis of consistent flat sudden deafness and total deafness. Total deafness can be regarded as a single type of sudden deafness.

Abstract
Manganese dioxide (MnO2) nanosheets are regarded as a new class of two-dimensional nanomaterials with several attractive properties with enormous progress in biomedical fields. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are also important biocompatible nanomaterials with unusual optical properties. Hetero-nanostructure of MnO2 and AuNPs with the medium of DNA is an interesting topic. In this work, the protection of the hetero-nanostructure from salt-induced aggregation is systematically investigated including the effects of sequence length, reagents concentrations, incubation time and temperature. The MnO2@Au nanostructures are thus applied for the analysis of miRNA. Duplex-specific nuclease (DSN) catalyzed digestion, hybridization chain reaction (HCR) and catalytic hairpin assembly (CHA) are utilized for signal amplification. By finally analyzing the optical responses of the nanocomponents, highly sensitive analysis of target miRNA can be achieved. Excellent analytical performances are attributed to the unique features of MnO2@Au nanostructures and signal amplification designs. They are promising basis for the construction of novel biosensors for clinical applications.

Abstract
Low back pain (LBP) is an extremely common disorder and is a major cause of disability globally. Intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) is the main contributor to LBP. Nevertheless, the specific mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of IVDD remain unclear. Mitochondria are highly dynamic organelles that continuously undergo fusion and fission, known as mitochondrial dynamics. Accumulating evidence has revealed that aberrantly activated mitochondrial fission leads to mitochondrial fragmentation and dysfunction, which are involved in the development and progression of IVDD. To date, research into mitochondrial dynamics in IVDD is at an early stage. The present narrative review aims to summarize the most recent findings about the role of mitochondrial fission in the pathogenesis of IVDD.

Abstract
Given the increasing prevalence of obesity, the white-to-beige adipocyte conversion has attracted interest as a target for obesity treatment. Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) treatment can reduce obesity, but the underlying mechanism remains unclear. Here, we aimed to investigate the mechanism by which GABA triggers weight loss by improving the beiging of inguinal white adipose tissue (iWAT) and the role of gut microbiota in this process. The results showed that GABA reduced body weight and adipose inflammation and promoted the expression of thermogenic genes in the iWAT. The 16S rRNA sequence analysis of gut microbiota showed that GABA treatment increased the relative abundance of Bacteroidetes, Akkermansia, and Romboutsia and reduced that of Firmicutes and Erysipelatoclostridium in obese mice. Additionally, serum metabolomic analysis revealed that GABA treatment increased 3-hydroxybutyrate and reduced oxidized lipid levels in obese mice. Spearman's correlation analysis showed that Akkermansia and Romboutsia were negatively associated with the levels of oxidized lipids. Fecal microbiota transplantation analysis confirmed that the gut microbiota was involved in the white-to-beige adipocyte reconstruction by GABA. Overall, our findings suggest that GABA treatment may promote iWAT beiging through the gut microbiota in obese mice. GABA may be utilized to protect obese people against metabolic abnormalities brought on by obesity and gut dysbiosis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the prevalence and risk factors of hookworm infections among vegetable growers in Anhui Province, so as to provide the evidence for formulating the control strategy and interventions for hookworm human infections. METHODS A total of 1 179 vegetable growers were randomly sampled from 7 counties in Anhui province according to the natural ecological function areas in 2018 and 2019, and the basic features and risk factors of hookworm infections were collected from all subjects using a self-designed questionnaire, including living environment, vegetable planting and fertilization, type of household crops, animal feeding, hygiene and labor habits. In addition, stool samples were collected from all participants, and each stool sample was subjected to twice tests with the Kato-Katz technique. The risk factors of hookworm infections were identified among vegetable growers with the Bayesian log-binomial regression model. RESULTS The prevalence of hookworm infection was 3.90% among the 1 179 vegetable growers. The prevalence of hookworm infection was 10.07% (15/149) among unemployed subjects, 5.32% (31/583) among farmers, and 0 among full-time vegetable growers (0/377) and subjects with other occupations (0/70), and there was a significant difference among subjects in terms of occupation (χ2=36.37, P < 0.01). Bayesian log-binomial regression analysis showed that fertilization with human feces [relative risk (RR)=18.25, 95% confidence interval (CI): (4.31, 77.17)], barefoot labor in vegetable fields [RR=2.86, 95% CI: (1.43, 5.70)], and living in plain ecological areas along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River [RR=4.19, 95% CI: (1.19, 14.81)] were independent risk factors of hookworm infections among vegetable growers. Stratified analysis showed that fertilization with human feces, barefoot labor in vegetable fields, drinking well water or mountain spring, and living in plain ecological areas along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River were independent risk factors of hookw, orm infection among farmers, and living in plain ecological areas along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and growing rice were independent risk factors of hookw, orm infection among unemployed individuals. Abstract
L-arginine metabolism is essential for the activation, survival, and effector function of the T lymphocytes and critical in eliminating tumors via T-cell-mediated immunotherapy, such as immune checkpoint blockade (ICB). Unfortunately, efficient delivery of hydrophilic L-arginine to the tumor microenvironment (TME) has met tremendous difficulties because of the limited loading efficacy and rapid diffusion. Inspired by the small-molecule prodrug nanoassemblies with ultrahigh drug-loading, we screen out aromatic aldehydes compounds to be used as dynamic tags to decorate L-arginine (reversible imine). Nano-Arginine (ArgNP, 104 nm) was created based on dynamic tag-mediated self-assembly. Molecular dynamics simulations indicate that the driving force of this self-assembly process is intermolecular hydrogen bonds, π-π stacking, and cation-π interactions. Notably, ArgNP metabolic synergy with anti-PD-L1 antibody (aPDL1) can promote tumor-infiltrating T cells (3.3-fold than aPDL1), resulting in a tumor inhibition ratio of 2.6-fold than aPDL1. Besides, such a strategy efficiently reduces the myeloid-derived suppressor cells, increases the M1-macrophages against the tumor, and induces the production of memory T cells. Furthermore, this synergistic therapy effectively restrains lung metastasis and prolongs mouse survival (60% survival ratio). The study highlights the dynamic tags strategy with facility and advance to deliver L-arginine that can metabolically promote ICB therapy.

Abstract
Non-structural carbohydrates (NSC) as resource reserves of plants play important roles in energy supply for normal growth and reproduction under environmental stress. The yield of perennial crops is mainly determined by the carbohydrate production and allocation in the current growth season, as well as the re-allocation of NSC reserves. However, the contribution of NSC to crop yield has not been fully determined. Fengdan (Paeonia ostii) is a variety of oil Peony that is newly developed in China. The effects of tree age and NSC on yield were examined by investigated the variations of biomass, soluble sugars, starch, and NSC in the organ and whole tree levels in the dormant and ripening stages of Fengdan populations with 4-, 6-, and 8-year-old in 2020 and 5-, 7-, and 9- year old in 2021. Results showed that the biomass, yield (seed biomass), soluble sugars, starch, and NSC reserve of Fengdan at the whole tree level increased with the increase in age. Although consistent correlations were observed between soluble sugars, starch and NSC storage, and yield among the plants with different ages, Fengdan showed allometric growth relationships between the accumulation of soluble sugars, starch, and NSC and yield and biomass (standardized major axis analyses slope b ≠ 1). Tree age significantly affected biomass and its allocation and NSC levels, especially the yield of Fengdan plants. The results of the investigation of the variations in the relationships between the yield and seasonal fluctuations of NSC and biomass indicate that roots is the key storage structure, whereas stems both serve as sink and/or source functions for the adult (7-9a) plants. NSC level, particularly the concentration of soluble sugars, in stems mainly influences Fengdan yield. These findings together provide new insights into the mechanisms underlying the yield formation of Fengdan and have implications for manipulating sink-source relationship to achieve high yield.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cognitive impairment and sarcopenia have become important challenges for the growing aging population. Social support has been shown to protect against cognitive impairment, but its impact on sarcopenia remains unknown. The purpose of this study was to explore the correlation between social support, sarcopenia, and cognitive impairment in Chinese older adults. METHOD A multi-stage whole group sampling method was used to conduct a cross-sectional survey of 720 community-dwelling older people in Shanghai. The definition of sarcopenia was in accordance with the criteria of the Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia (AWGS) 2019. Cognitive impairment was evaluated using a computerized neuropsychological assessment device that had been previously validated. Social support was assessed using the Social Support Rate Scale. Logistic regression analyses were conducted to explore the relationship between social support cognitive impairment and sarcopenia, fully adjusting for all potential confounding factors. RESULTS Our study found that 230 (31.94%) of the participants had cognitive impairment and 97 (13.47%) of the participants had sarcopenia. The mean social support score was 35.10 ± 7.54. Besides, the results showed that cognitive impairment was associated with sarcopenia (OR:1.650, 95% CI: 1.048, 2.596, P=0.030) after adjusting for confounding factors. Older adults with high level social support had the lowest risk of cognitive impairment (OR: 0.297, 95% CI: 0.115, 0.680, P=0.021) and sarcopenia (OR: 0.113, 95% CI: 0.031, 0.407, P=0.001), respectively. CONCLUSION Our analysis revealed that high level social support was negatively associated with sarcopenia and cognitive impairment. These findings provide strong support for the health promotion effect of social networks against sarcopenia and cognitive impairment in Chinese community-dwelling older adults, with important implications for healthcare policy makers.

Abstract
Cancer is one of the main diseases threatening human life, accounting for millions of deaths around the world each year. Traditional physical and chemical methods for cancer treatment are extremely time-consuming, lab-intensive, expensive, inefficient and difficult to be applied in a high-throughput way. Hence, it is an urgent task to develop automated computational methods to enable fast and accurate identification of anticancer peptides (ACPs). In this paper, we develop a novel model named iACP-GE to identify ACPs. Multi-features are extracted by using binary encoding, enhanced grouped amino acid composition and BLOSUM62 encoding based on the N5C5 sequence, as well as detrended forward moving-average auto-cross correlation analysis based on physicochemical properties of 20 natural amino acids. Thus, 835 features are obtained for each sample, in order to avoid information redundancy, gradient boosting decision tree was adopted as the feature selection strategy. Then, the optimal feature subset is input to the extra tree classifier. The accuracies of ACP740 and ACP240 datasets with the 5-fold cross-validation were 90.54% and 91.25%, respectively. Experimental results indicate that iACP-GE significantly outperforms several existing models on ACP740 and ACP240 datasets and can be used as an effective tool for the identification of ACPs. The datasets and source codes for iACP-GE are available at https://github.com/yunyunliang88/iACP-GE.

Abstract
Hypoxia and high accumulation of lactic acid in the tumor microenvironment provide fertile soil for tumor development, maintenance and metastasis. Herein, we developed a calcium peroxide (CaO2)-loaded nanostructure that can play a role of "one stone kill two birds", i.e., acidic and hypoxic tumor microenvironment can be simultaneously regulated by CaO2 loaded nanostructure. Specifically, CaO2-loaded mesoporous polydopamine nanoparticles modified with sodium hyaluronate (denoted as CaO2@mPDA-SH) can gradually accumulate in a tumor site. CaO2 exposed in acidic microenvironment can succeed in consuming the lactic acid with oxygen generation simultaneously, which could remodel the acid and hypoxia tumor microenvironment. More importantly, the relief of hypoxia could further reduce lactate production from the source by down-regulating the hypoxia inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α), which further down-regulated the glycolysis associated enzymes including glycolysis-related glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1) and lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA). As a result, CaO2@mPDA-SH alone without the employment of other therapeutics can dually regulate the tumor hypoxia and lactic acid metabolism, which efficiently represses tumor progression in promoting immune activation, antitumor metastasis, and anti-angiogenesis.

Abstract
Exosomes are extracellular vesicles which carry specific molecular information from donor cells and act as an intercellular communication vehicle, which have emerged as a novel cell-free strategy for the treatment of many diseases including inflammatory disease. Recently, rising studies have developed exosome-based strategies for novel inflammation therapy due to their biocompatibility and bioactivity. Researchers not only use native exosomes as therapeutic agents for inflammation, but also strive to make up for the natural defects of exosomes through engineering methods to improve and update the property of exosomes for enhanced therapeutic effects. The engineered exosomes can improve cargo-loading efficiency, targeting ability, stability, etc., to achieve combined and diverse treatment strategies in inflammation diseases. Herein, a comprehensive overview of the recent advances in application studies of native and engineered exosomes as well as the engineered methods is provided. Meanwhile, potential application prospects, possible challenges, and the development of clinical researches of exosome treatment strategy are concluded from plentiful examples, which may be able to provide guidance and suggestions for the future research and application of exosomes.

Abstract
With the development of technologies based on gold nanoparticles (AuNPs), bare AuNPs cannot meet the increasing requirements of biomedical applications. Modifications with different functional ligands are usually needed. DNA is not only the main genetic material, but also a good biological material, which has excellent biocompatibility, facile design, and accurate identification. DNA is a perfect ligand candidate for AuNPs, which can make up for the shortcoming of bare AuNPs. DNA-modified AuNPs (DNA-AuNPs) have exciting features and bright prospects in many fields, which have been intensively investigated in the past decade. In this review, we summarize the various approaches for the immobilization of DNA strands on the surface of AuNPs. Representative studies for biomedical applications based on DNA-AuNPs are also discussed. Finally, we present the challenges and future directions.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the peripheral blood inflammatory markers including white blood cell count (WBC), monocytes, neutrophils, lymphocytes, platelets, neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR), high-density lipoprotein(HDL-C), low-density lipoprotein and fibrinogen (FIB) in Ménière's disease (MD) patients with and without migraine, and to explore the relationship between the inflammatory response with MD and migraine. Methods: The general physical condition, clinical manifestations, pure-tone audiometry, and peripheral blood inflammatory markers of 92 unilateral MD patients who were hospitalized in Peking University People's Hospital for surgical treatment from January 2017 to January 2021 were continuously collected. Meanwhile, 50 healthy controls matched with age and sex were included, and their general physical conditions and peripheral blood inflammatory markers were also collected. This study consisted of two parts. First, the differences in epidemical characteristics and peripheral blood inflammatory markers between MD patients and healthy controls were compared by univariate analysis. Second, all 92 MD patients were divided into two subgroups according to whether they were accompanied by migraine. The clinical characteristics and peripheral blood inflammatory markers of MD patients with and without migraine were compared by univariate analysis. Thereafter, binary Logistic regression was used to analyze the related factors of whether MD patients were accompanied with migraine. Results: Compared with the healthy control group, the peripheral blood WBC, neutrophils and FIB of MD patients were significantly increased (all P<0.05). Compared with MD patients without migraine, MD patients with migraine had higher female prevalence, longer disease history, lower low-frequency hearing threshold, higher frequency of vertigo attacks and higher HDL-C levels (all P<0.05), meanwhile, female, frequency of vestibular attacks and HDL-C were independent related factors of whether MD patients were accompanied with migraine. Conclusion: The occurrence of MD and migraine may be related to the inflammatory response. The level of anti-inflammatory factors in the blood of MD patients with migraine are higher, suggesting that the inflammatory response status of MD patients with and without migraine is different.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the long-term efficacy of treatments on cryptogenic ischemic cerebral vascular disease (CICVD) with patent foramen ovale (PFO) and analyze prognostic factors, so as to provide the references for the treatment and secondary prevention of PFO related cerebral vascular disease. Methods: Consecutive patients with CICVD and PFO related right-to-left shunting confirmed by transesophageal echocardiography or transcranial doppler bubble test, who admitted to the Department of Neurology in Xuanwu Hospital from May 1, 2012 to December 31 2021 were enrolled. All the patients underwent hypercoagulability screening, and the degree of hypercoagulability was evaluated by a scoring scale. Each PFO was classified as either high-risk or low-risk according to its anatomic features. Patients were divided into the drug treatment group (including antiplatelet and anticoagulation therapies) and transcatheter PFO closure group. After follow-up, the recurrence of cerebral ischemic events were compared between the two groups by Kaplan-Meier method, the prognostic factors were analyzed by multifactorial Cox's regression model. Results: A total of 117 patients were recruited, 10 patients were lost to follow-up, and 107 patients were included in the final analysis, consisting of 66 males and 41 females, with age ranging from 14 to 67 years and the follow-up period of 1 229 (45, 3 508) d. The recurrence rate of cerebral ischemic events was 6% (4/66) and 7% (3/41) for the drug treatment group (66 cases) and closure group (41 cases), respectively, and residual shunting was detected in all patients with recurrent events in the closure group. Cumulative hazard curve indicated that there was no significant difference of recurrence risk of cerebral ischemic events between the two groups (cumulative recurrence rate: 17.9% in the closure group vs 7.1% in the drug treatment group, χ2=0.368, P=0.544), and the insignificance persisted even in subgroup analysis of CICVD patients with either high-risk (χ2=0.685, P=0.408) or low-risk PFO (χ2=0.072, P=0.789). Cox's regression model indicated that hypercoagulability related factor score was an independent predictor of recurrent cerebral ischemic events (HR=2.079, 95%CI 1.069-4.045, P=0.031) after adjusting for high-risk PFO, PFO closure and other confounding factors. Moreover, a rising trend of cumulative recurrence rate was observed as the score got higher (P=0.046). Conclusions: For CICVD patients with either high-risk or low-risk PFO, the significant value of drug treatment as the first-line therapy for PFO related CICVD should not be ignored, which awaits further discussion. The abnormality of hypercoagulability related factors might increase the recurrent risk of cerebral ischemic events, which calls for more attention and should be screened and treated with corresponding medication.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic value and application of 24 h multichannel intraluminal impedance-pH (24 h MII-pH) monitoring in children with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Methods: This is a cross-sectional study. From January 2013 to December, 2020, 417 patients who received 24 h MII-pH monitoring in Department of Gastroenterology of Children's Hospital Capital Institute of Pediatrics were included. According to results, these children were divided into the GERD and non-GERD groups. Furthermore, the 132 children with GERD who had gastroscopy were divided into the reflux esophagitis (RE) and non-erosive reflux disease (NE) groups to investigate the differences in their refluxes. Non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test or indepentent sample t test was used for comparisons between the groups. Results: Among the 417 children, 232 were males and 185 females, aged (7.3±3.9) years. The course of disease was 0.5 (0.1, 2.0) years. The main clinical symptoms included acid reflux (128 cases), vomiting (173 cases), abdominal pain (101 cases), and cough (76 cases). The 24 h MII-pH monitoring were positive in 243 children (58.3%, 243/417), which was higher than that by 24 h esophageal pH monitoring (43.6%, 182/417). The 24 h MII-pH monitoring results demonstrated significant differences in the episodes of acid reflux, weakly acidic reflux, non-acidic reflux, liquid reflux and mixed reflux between GERD and non-GERD groups (10 (4, 19) vs. 4 (1, 9) times/24 h, 14 (6, 32) vs. 7 (3, 13) times/24 h, 0 (0, 0) vs. 0 (0, 0) times/24 h, 19 (10, 34) vs. 8 (3, 14) times/24 h, and 6 (2, 12) vs. 3 (1, 5) times/24 h, Z=-6.96, -7.25, -5.62, -8.75, and -6.48, all P<0.05, respectively). Besides, the results also showed significant differences in Boix-Ochoa score, episodes of long reflux, course of long reflux, and episodes of weakly acidic reflux between the RE and NE groups (51.2 (21.4, 153.2) vs. 20.7 (12.1, 34.7), 5 (2, 10) vs. 1 (0, 4) times/24 h, 19 (7, 87) vs. 8 (3, 22) min, and 5 (2, 15) vs. 15 (6, 33) times/24 h, Z=-3.44, -3.41, -2.65, and -2.27, all P<0.05, respectively). Conclusion: 24 h MII-pH monitoring not only improves the detection rate of GERD in children, but also provides a possibility to early etiological diagnosis.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the effect of deep dermal tissue dislocation injury on skin fibrosis in pig, in order to provide some theoretical basis for burn scar treatment. Methods: The experimental research method was applied. Six 2-month-old female Duroc pigs were taken. Fifteen operative areas on the right dorsum of pigs on which medium-thick skin grafts and deep dermal tissue slices were cut and re-implanted were included into dermal in situ reimplantation group, and fifteen operative areas on the left dorsum of pigs on which medium-thick skin grafts and deep dermal tissue slices were cut and the deep dermal tissue slice was placed under the fat layer were included into the dermal dislocation group. The hair growth in the operative areas on post-injury day (PID) 7, 14, and 21 and the cross-sectional structure on PID 14 were observed in the two groups. On PID 7, 14, and 21, the skin thickness (the distance from the epidermis to the upper edge of the fat), the dermal thickness (the distance from the lower edge of the epidermis to the upper edge of the fat, excluding the fibrotic tissue thickness between the dermis and the fat), and the fibrosis tissue thickness of the dermis-fat interface (from the lower edge of the deep dermis to the upper edge of the fat in dermal in situ reimplantation group and from the lower edge of the superficial dermis to the upper edge of the fat in dermal dislocation group) in the operative areas were measured and compared between the two groups; the fibrotic tissue thickness at the dermal cutting interface (from the lower edge of the superficial dermis to the upper edge of the deep dermis) in the operative areas in dermal in situ reimplantation group was measured and compared with the fibrotic tissue thickness at the dermal-fat interface. Sirius red staining was performed to observe and compare the type Ⅰ and Ⅲ collagen content in the dermal-fat interface in the operative areas between the 2 groups and between the dermal cutting interface and dermal-fat interface in the operative areas in dermal in situ reimplantation group. Immunohistochemical staining was performed to observe the positive expressions of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1), fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF-2), and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) in the operative areas in the two groups. The sample number was 6. Data were statistically analyzed with independent sample t test. Results: On PID 7, 14, and 21, the hairs in the operative areas in dermal in situ reimplantation group were denser than those in dermal dislocation group. On PID 14, the skin cross section in the operative areas in dermal dislocation group showed a "sandwich"-like structure, while the skin cross section in the operative areas in dermal in situ reimplantation group had normal structure. On PID 7, 14, and 21, the skin thickness in the operative areas in dermal dislocation group was (4 234±186), (4 688±360), and (4 548±360) μm, respectively, which was close to (4 425±156), (4 714±141), and (4 310±473) μm in dermal in situ reimplantation group (P>0.05); the dermal thickness in the operative areas in dermal dislocation group was significantly thinner than that in dermal in situ reimplantation group (with t values of -9.73, -15.85, and -15.41, respectively, P<0.01); the fibrotic tissue thickness at the dermal-fat interface in the operative areas in dermal dislocation group was significantly thicker than that in dermal in situ reimplantation group (with t values of 14.48, 20.58, and 15.67, respectively, P<0.01); there was no statistically significant difference between the fibrotic tissue thickness at the dermal-fat interface and the dermal cutting interface in the operative areas in dermal in situ reimplantation group (P>0.05). On PID 7, 14, 21, the type Ⅲ collagen content in the dermal-fat interface in the operative areas in dermal dislocation group was increased significantly compared with that in dermal in situ replantation group (with t values of 2.65, 0.61, and 7.39, respectively, P<0.05 or P<0.01), whereas there were no statistically significant differences in the type Ⅰ collagen content at the dermal-fat interface in the operative areas between the 2 groups (P>0.05) and the type Ⅰ and Ⅲ collagen content between the dermal-fat interface and the dermal cutting interface in the operative areas in dermal in situ reimplantation group (P>0.05). On PID 7, 14, and 21, PCNA, TGF-β1, FGF-2, and HGF were positively expressed in the superficial dermis and adipose tissue in the operative areas in dermal dislocation group, while PCNA, TGF-β1, FGF-2, and HGF were positively expressed in the superficial dermis, deep dermis, and adipose tissue in the operative areas in dermal in situ reimplantation group. Conclusions: Inadequate intrinsic thickness of dermal tissue is the key factor causing fibrosis, and the biological purpose of fibrosis is to "compensate" the intrinsic thickness of the skin. Besides, adipose tissue may also be an important component of fibrotic skin repair.
