Abstract
Objective: To explore the early clinical diagnostic indicators in patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) combined with macrovascular invasion. Methods: The clinical data of 180 cases of HCC diagnosed by histopathology examination in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from 2012 to 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. The factors influencing the development of macrovascular invasion in HCC patients were analyzed. The receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC curve) was used to evaluate the sensitivity and specificity. Results: Serum C-reactive protein (CRP) level was significantly correlated with various clinical characteristics of HCC patients, including the maximum tumor diameter, tumor number, and macrovascular invasion. Further analysis of the risk factors showed that serum direct bilirubin and CRP were independent risk factors for macrovascular invasion in HCC patients, with odds ratios of 1.747 (95% CI 1.119-2.728, P = 0.014) and 2.376 (95% CI 1.495-3.775, P < 0.001). ROC curve analysis showed that serum CRP, direct bilirubin, and the combination of the both had certain diagnostic value for hepatocellular carcinoma combined with macrovascular invasion. The area under the curve, sensitivity and specificity was 0.724, 0.668, 0.743, 79.1%, 70.1%, 79.1%, and 61.9%, 62.8%, 67.3%, respectively. Conclusion: The combination of CRP with direct bilirubin can be used as an important clinical diagnostic indicator for early diagnosis and prevention of hepatocellular carcinoma combined with macrovascular invasion.

Abstract
Asbestos is classified as a Class 1 carcinogen by the International Cancer Organization (IARC) , and almost all types of asbestos are carcinogenic. The clinical data of 30 asbestos-induced occupational tumor patients in Qingdao city from January 2002 to May 2019 were analyzed, including 24 cases of asbestos-induced lung cancer and 6 cases of asbestos-induced malignant mesothelioma. Mesothelioma was significantly worse than lung cancer in terms of malignancy, the survival time of patients is shorter, and the mortality rate was higher. Both its diagnostic methods and treatment methods should be improved. The high incidence of asbestos-caused tumors is coming. It is recommended that workers exposed to asbestos dust should undergo regular chest CT examinations for early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment.

Abstract
Background Rattus norvegicus and Suncus murinus are important reservoirs of zoonotic bacterial diseases. An understanding of the composition of gut and oropharynx bacteria in these animals is important for monitoring and preventing such diseases. We therefore examined gut and oropharynx bacterial composition in these animals in China. Results Proteobacteria, Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes were the most abundant phyla in faecal and throat swab samples of both animals. However, the composition of the bacterial community differed significantly between sample types and animal species. Firmicutes exhibited the highest relative abundance in throat swab samples of R. norvegicus, followed by Proteobacteria and Bacteroidetes. In throat swab specimens of S. murinus, Proteobacteria was the predominant phylum, followed by Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes. Firmicutes showed the highest relative abundance in faecal specimens of R. norvegicus, followed by Bacteroidetes and Proteobacteria. Firmicutes and Proteobacteria had almost equal abundance in faecal specimens of S. murinus, with Bacteroidetes accounting for only 3.07%. The family Streptococcaceae was most common in throat swab samples of R. norvegicus, while Prevotellaceae was most common in its faecal samples. Pseudomonadaceae was the predominant family in throat swab samples of S. murinus, while Enterobacteriaceae was most common in faecal samples. We annotated 33.28% sequences from faecal samples of S. murinus as potential human pathogenic bacteria, approximately 3.06-fold those in R. norvegicus. Potential pathogenic bacteria annotated in throat swab samples of S. murinus were 1.35-fold those in R. norvegicus. Conclusions Bacterial composition of throat swabs and faecal samples from R. norvegicus differed from those of S. murinus. Both species carried various pathogenic bacteria, therefore both should be closely monitored in the future, especially for S. murinus. Abstract
BACKGROUND Vascular calcification (VC) is characterized by mineral accumulation on the walls of arteries and veins, which is a pathological process commonly found in elderly individuals and patients with atherosclerosis, hypertension, and diabetes. Emerging evidence suggests that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play an important role in VC. However, the role of SNHG29 is less clear. METHODS The expression of SNHG29, miR-200b-3p, α-Klotho, FGFR1 and FGF23 in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) was quantified by qRT-PCR and western blot assays. β-GP was used to construct an in vitro calcification model, followed by MTT assay to detect cell viability. Calcification was determined by alizarin red S staining and quantified by calcification assay. ALP activity was investigated by ALP staining. The interactions among SNHG29, miR-200b-3p and α-Klotho were verified by luciferase assay. RESULTS In the in vitro calcification model, SNHG29 was downregulated, while miR-200b-3p was upregulated. SNHG29 overexpression and miR-200b-3p knockdown significantly suppressed osteoblast-related factors (RUNX2 and BMP2), accompanied by activation of the α-Klotho/FGFR1/FGF23 axis, further inhibiting the formation of calcified nodules. Moreover, miR-200b-3p overexpression and α-Klotho knockdown reversed the SNHG29 overexpression-induced inhibitory effects on calcified VSMCs. CONCLUSION Our study is the first to demonstrate that SNHG29 could inhibit VSMC calcification by downregulating miR-200b-3p to activate the α-Klotho/FGFR1/FGF23 axis, suggesting SNHG29 as a novel therapeutic target for VC-associated diseases.

Abstract
Searches for electron antineutrino, muon neutrino, and muon antineutrino disappearance driven by sterile neutrino mixing have been carried out by the Daya Bay and MINOS+ collaborations. This Letter presents the combined results of these searches, along with exclusion results from the Bugey-3 reactor experiment, framed in a minimally extended four-neutrino scenario. Significantly improved constraints on the θ_{μe} mixing angle are derived that constitute the most constraining limits to date over five orders of magnitude in the mass-squared splitting Δm_{41}^{2}, excluding the 90% C.L. sterile-neutrino parameter space allowed by the LSND and MiniBooNE observations at 90% CL_{s} for Δm_{41}^{2}<13 eV^{2}. Furthermore, the LSND and MiniBooNE 99% C.L. allowed regions are excluded at 99% CL_{s} for Δm_{41}^{2}<1.6 eV^{2}.

Abstract
In situ video-STM studies of Pt(111) electrodes in CO-saturated 0.1 M H2SO4 solution are presented, which reveal the presence of defined point defects in the CO pre-oxidation regime, where the surface is covered by a highly dynamic apparent (1 × 1)-CO adlayer. These defects are generated at the Pt steps and can switch between a mobile and an immobile state. They are assigned to diffusing vacancies in the Pt surface layer, induced by interaction of the highly mobile CO adsorbates with Pt surface atoms at potentials as low as 0.30 VAg/AgCl.

Abstract
The long noncoding RNA nuclear enriched abundant transcript 1 (NEAT1) has been reported to promote liver fibrosis progression. However, its molecular mechanism in renal fibrosis was not elucidated. In the present study, an in vitro model of renal fibrosis was established with HK-2 and HKC-8 cells treated with transforming growth factor-β1. C57BL/6 mice were used for the in vivo model with unilateral ureteral obstruction. Our results indicated that NEAT1 and collagen type I levels were significantly upregulated, whereas miR-129 was obviously downregulated, in the progression of renal fibrosis. Meanwhile, NEAT1 knockdown or miR-129 overexpression inhibited collagen type I deposition, the epithelial-mesenchymal transition process, and the inflammation response to suppress renal fibrosis. NEAT1 directly targeted miR-129, and miR-129 directly bound to collagen type I. Downregulation of miR-129 reversed inhibition of renal fibrosis induced by NEAT1 silencing, and upregulation of collagen type I also reversed inhibition of renal fibrosis caused by miR-129 overexpression. NEAT1 knockdown alleviated renal fibrosis in mice subjected to unilateral ureteral obstruction. In conclusion, NEAT1 sponged miR-129 to modulate the epithelial-mesenchymal transition process and inflammation response of renal fibrosis by regulation of collagen type I. Our study indicates a novel role in the regulation of renal fibrosis and provides a new potential treatment target for renal fibrosis.

Abstract
Objective To investigate the application value of eye tracking in lie detection. Methods The 40 subjects were randomly divided into two groups. The pupil diameter, fixation duration, points of fixation and blink frequency of the subjects in the experimental group in observing target stimulation and non-target stimulation were recorded with eye tracker after they accomplished the mock crime. The eye movement parameters of subjects in the control group were directly collected. The differences in eye movement parameters of the experimental group and the control group in observing target stimulation and non-target stimulation were analyzed by t-test. Pearson coefficient analysis of correlation between eye movement parameters that had differences was conducted. The effectiveness of eye movement parameters to distinguish between the experimental group and the control group was calculated by the receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve. Results Participants from the experimental group had shorter average pupil diameter, longer average fixation duration and fewer fixation points (P<0.05), but the differences in blink frequency had no statistical significance. The differences in the above indicators of the control group in observing target stimulation and non-target stimulation had no statistical significance. The average fixation duration showed a negative correlation with fixation points (r=-0.255, P<0.05); the average fixation duration showed a negative correlation with average pupil diameter (r=-0.218, P<0.05); the fixation points showed a positive correlation with average pupil diameter (r=0.09, P<0.05). The area under the curve of average pupil diameter, average fixation duration and fixation points was 0.603, 0.621 and 0.580, respectively. Conclusion The average pupil diameter, average fixation duration and fixation points obtained by the eye tracker under laboratory conditions can be used to detect lies.

Abstract
This Letter reports the first extraction of individual antineutrino spectra from ^{235}U and ^{239}Pu fission and an improved measurement of the prompt energy spectrum of reactor antineutrinos at Daya Bay. The analysis uses 3.5×10^{6} inverse beta-decay candidates in four near antineutrino detectors in 1958 days. The individual antineutrino spectra of the two dominant isotopes, ^{235}U and ^{239}Pu, are extracted using the evolution of the prompt spectrum as a function of the isotope fission fractions. In the energy window of 4-6 MeV, a 7% (9%) excess of events is observed for the ^{235}U (^{239}Pu) spectrum compared with the normalized Huber-Mueller model prediction. The significance of discrepancy is 4.0σ for ^{235}U spectral shape compared with the Huber-Mueller model prediction. The shape of the measured inverse beta-decay prompt energy spectrum disagrees with the prediction of the Huber-Mueller model at 5.3σ. In the energy range of 4-6 MeV, a maximal local discrepancy of 6.3σ is observed.

Abstract
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted virus in males and females worldwide; yet its impact upon male fertility remains unclear. The objective of this study was to evaluate the potential impact of HPV infection in semen on male fertility abnormality. A systematic literature search was performed in PubMed, Medline, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library database for relevant publications up to May 6, 2017. The odds ratio (OR), and its corresponding 95% confidence interval (CI), was selected to represent the effect size. Statistical analysis was conducted using STATA 12.0. In total, eight articles, providing data on 1955 participants, were included in this meta-analysis. Collectively, the data suggested that HPV infection of semen was a risk factor for male fertility abnormality with an OR of 3.02 (95% CI: 2.11-4.32; I2 = 6.9%). Sensitivity analysis revealed that the results of this study were robust. In conclusion, HPV infection of semen represents a risk factor for male fertility abnormality.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome differentiation in the treatment of pneumoconiosis. Methods: We selected 160 pneumoconiosis patients who were hospitalized in our hospital from July 2015 to July 2016. 102 patients were divided into experimental groups, and the other 58 patients were assigned to the control group. These patients were randomly assigned. The control group was given routine treatment, while the experimental group received conventional treatment combined with TCM syndrome differentiation. We rated patients' quality of life using the SF-36 Quality of Life Scale. C-reactive protein levels in both groups before and after treatment were detected by ELISA. Furthermore, we detected the expression levels of IL-6 mRNA and TGF-β mRNA in serum before and after treatment by RT-PCR.The analysis was performed with SPSS19.0 software. The normal distribution measurement data was expressed by Mean±SD, and the t-test was used for statistical analysis. Non-normal distribution measurement data were expressed as median(M) and interquartile range (P(25), P(75)), and non-parametric test was used for statistical analysis. Results: Compared with the control group, the readmission rate in the experimental group decreased within 3 months; The SF-36 quality of life score results of the two groups showed a statistically significant difference in BP, VT and RE (P<0.05);The levelofCRPdecreasedsignificantlyafter treatment in bothgroups, and thedifferencewasstatistically significant (P<0.05).Comparedwith thecontrolgroup, the levelsofIL-6mRNAandTGF-β1mRNA alsodecreased (P<0.05). Conclusion: TCM syndromedifferentiation and treatmentofpneumoconiosis can effectively improve the patient's condition and life quality. We predict that it may inhibit the progression of pulmonary fibrosis in pneumoconiosis.

Abstract
Occupational chromium rhinopathy is chronic nasal damage caused by chromic anhydride, chromate and dichromate 6-valent chromium compounds. In 2016, 700 people who were exposed to chromium slag in steel plant were checked out. 24 people were found to have nasal injuries. The expert group confirmed 1 case of occupational severe chromium rhinosis and 23 cases of occupational mild chromium rhinosis. There was no significant difference in the incidence, type of work and duration of injury among 24 patients (P>0.05) . Active measures should be taken to prevent chromium rhinopathy and the technological process should be reformed. Occupational health education and occupational health monitoring should be strengthened to avoid exposure of chromium and its compounds through nose and respiratory tract, and to reduce or eliminate the occurrence of chromium rhinosis.

Abstract
To establish a mouse model of premature ovarian insufficiency( POI) with kidney deficiency and blood stasis pattern by Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside( TWP) gavage, and to evaluate the ovarian function and fertility of the model,in order to find Bushen Culuan Decoction therapeutic mechanism. 60 SPF level Blab/c female mice with normal estrous cycle were randomly divided into 6 groups of 10 each: blank group 1( BG1),blank group 2( BG2),blank fertility group( BFG),model group( MG),model recovery group( MRG) and model fertility group( MFG). The mice in three model groups were treated by gastric gavage with TWP suspension 40 mg·kg-1 twice a day for 14 days, while the mice in three blank groups were treated by gastric gavage with same volume normal saline for 14 days. The mice in BG1 and MG were sacrificed and dissected on day 15. The mice in BG2,BFG,MRG and MFG were returned normal feeding from day 15 and were sacrificed and dissected on day 29. The mice in BFG and MFG were cohabited with male mice with a ratio of 2 ∶1( female ∶male) from day 15. The general situation and estrous cycles of all mice were observed every day. Serum sex hormone levels, ovarian index, uterine index, ovarian morphology, follicle count, ovarian VEGF and ES index were observed within the mice in BG1,BG2,MG and MRG. Pregnancy rate, litter size, survival number of newborn mice and male-female proportion were reported within the mice in BFG and MFG. In model establishing stage, the body weight of mice significantly decreased( P <0. 05) in MG and MFG. Compared with BG1,the mice in model group had irregular estrous cycle, decreased ovarian and uterine indexes, less primordial and developing follicles, more atretic follicles, increased VEGF expression and decreased ES expression( P <0. 05). Compared with blank group 2,the mice in model recovery group had irregular estrous cycle, increased FSH level, decreased ovarian indexes, less primordial and developing follicles, more atretic follicles, increased VEGF expression( P<0. 05). Compared with blank fertility group, the mice in model fertility group had smaller litter size and newborn mice survival count( P<0. 05). Gastric gavage with TWP 40 mg·kg-1 twice a day for 14 days is a feasible way to establish a POI kidney deficiency and blood stasis pattern mouse model. The mice ovarian functions didn't recovery on day 14 after stopping TWP intervening, which could suggest the effectiveness of subsequent therapeutic intervention.

Abstract
Aims Leonurine has been shown to trigger antioxidant responses during ischemic stroke, and nuclear factor erythroid 2‐related factor 2 (Nrf‐2) imparts protective effects against oxidative injury. The present study has determined that leonurine prevents ischemic injury of brain tissues via Nrf‐2 pathway activation. Methods Male ICR mice and Nrf‐2−/− mice were subjected to permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion (pMCAO) and received leonurine treatment at 2 hours after pMCAO by intraperitoneal injection. Neurological deficit scores as well as infarct volume were assessed to determine the neuroprotective role of leonurine. Nrf‐2 was investigated using Western blotting and real‐time polymerase chain reaction (RT‐PCR) analysis to elucidate the neuroprotective mechanism of leonurine. Commercial kits were employed to determine reactive oxygen species (ROS), superoxide (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GSH‐Px), malonaldehyde (MDA), and glutathione (GSH). Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) was evaluated by Western blotting and RT‐PCR analysis, and VEGF was localized using immunofluorescence. Results The application of leonurine on ICR mice resulted in an improvement in neurological deficit scores and a reduction in infarct volume. Leonurine upregulated nuclear Nrf‐2 protein and increased total Nrf‐2 protein expression and mRNA levels. Leonurine regulated SOD, MDA, CAT, GSH, and GSH‐Px, and it significantly inhibited ROS production in ICR mice. Leonurine improved VEGF expression and increased VEGF expression in neurons, astrocytes, and endothelial cells. However, leonurine had no obvious beneficial effects on Nrf‐2−/− mice. Conclusions Leonurine exerted neuroprotective effects, promoted antioxidant responses, and upregulated VEGF expression by activating the Nrf‐2 pathway.

Abstract
This research apply Dingkun Dan to treat patients with dysmenorrhea of cold stagnation and blood stasis syndrome. This study observed its effectiveness and safety of the treatment of the disease and its influence on the serum prostaglandin F2α, endothefin, pulsatility index and resistant index of uterine artery blood, to explore the possible mechanism of effect of Dingkun Dan in the treatment of dysmenorrhea and provide scientific basis for clinical application. The 75 patients with dysmenorrhea of cold stagnation and blood stasis who met the inclusion criteria, were divided into treatment group (n=37) and control group (n=38) by using random number remainder grouping method. In the treatment group patients were treated with Dingkun Dan, the other group were given Fuke Zaizao Jiaonang. Two groups have same time to take the medicine, three days prior to the menstruation for ten days. Medication for three menstrual cycles was seen as a course of treatment. To observe and compare the two groups of patients before and after treatment VAS score, syndrome integral, serum levels of prostaglandin F2α and endothelin, pulsation index and resistance index of uterine artery blood flow and related safety index changes. Finally makes statistical analysis. It has been identified that, Treatment group and control group can reduce pain symptom of dysmenorrhea patients and improve the syndromes scores, compare with control group, effect of the treatment group is more significant(P<0.01). VAS pain curative effect: the treatment group and control group total effective rate respectively were, 97.22%, 69.44%, markedly effective rate were 83.33%, 30.56%, comparison between two groups, treatment group is better than that of control group(P<0.01). Syndromes curative effect: the treatment group and control group total effective rate respectively were 97.22%, 94.44%, markedly effective rate was 66.67%, 2.78%, respectively. The comparison between two groups, the total effective rate has no obvious difference, but markedly effective rate of treatment group is better than that of control group(P<0.01). The treatment group can significantly reduce the patients' serum level of prostaglandin F2α(P<0.01), but no obvious difference was found in the control group before and after treatment. Both groups can significantly reduce the serum level of endothelin(P<0.01), comparison between two groups, the treatment group is more significant(P<0.01).Both treatment group and control group were significantly lower left and right pulsation index and resistance index of uterus artery blood flow(P<0.01). Between groups to compare the effect, the treatment group is more significant(P<0.01). Both treatment group and control group in the security check before and after treatment found no significant anomalies. Dingkun Dan in treating dysmenorrhea with cold stagnation and blood stasis syndrome seems to have remarkable clinical curative effect and safety, which may be achieved by significantly reducing the serum level of prostaglandin F2αand endothefin of the patients, and reducing the pulsation index and resistance index of uterine artery blood flow of the patients, to improve uterine artery condition of blood, and correcting local tissue ischemia to relieve pain.

Abstract
Vascular calcification (VC) plays as a critical role on cardiovascular disease (CVD) and acts as a notable risk factor in cardiovascular system. Vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) calcification can be triggered by high phosphate treatment; however, the explicit mechanism remains unclear. In the present study, we isolated VSMCs from primary rat artery, applied β-GP (β-glycerophosphate) for inducing VSMCs calcification in vitro to explore the mechanism of phosphate-induced calcification in VSMCs. Alizarin red staining was performed to assess the mineralization in VSMCs. Calcium deposition experiment was taken to evaluate the calcium content. ALP staining was determined to assess the ALP activity. The recombinant adenoviruses were constructed for the overexpression of Klotho and FGF23, respectively. qRT-PCR and western blot analysis were subjected to measure the expression of Klotho/FGF23 and correlated genes among Wnt7b/β-catenin pathway. We found that the calcium content was obviously increased and Alizarin red staining was positive in calcification group exposure with high phosphate in a time-dependent manner. The expression of Klotho and FGF23 was significantly decreased in the calcification group. However, overexpression of Klotho and FGF23 markedly reversed VSMCs calcification stimulating with high phosphate treatment. Moreover, Wnt7b/β-catenin inhibitor DKK1 could partly attenuate the effect of high phosphate on calcified VSMCs. These findings demonstrated that Klotho/FGF23 axis could modulate high phosphate-induced VSMCs calcification via Wnt7b/β-catenin signaling pathway. Our findings unravel that Klotho/FGF23- Wnt7b/β-catenin axis functions as a crucial role in the VSMCs calcification.

Abstract
Endometriosis is a common and difficult gynecological disease. The incidence of endometriosis has been increasing year by year. Because endometriosis mostly occurs in childbearing age,it can cause persistent damage to the fertility of patients, and is an important cause of infertility. Although endometriosis is a benign disease,it has malignant behavior, and is easy for relapse and metastasis and difficult to treat in clinic. Early diagnosis, comprehensive evaluation, formulation of programs and timely treatment play an important role in protecting patients' fertility. The pathogenesis of endometriosis is still unclear in modern medicine. Drugs, surgery and assisted reproductive technology are the main therapies. The author has achieved a good efficacy in the long-term treatment of infertility due to endometriosis. She believes that the disease is caused by kidney deficiency and blood stasis. They are cause and effect to each other, which form a vicious circle. In view of the basic pathogenesis of kidney deficiency and blood stasis,we should make good use of the method of Bushen Huoxue, and emphasize the treatment by stages: promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and treating diarrhea with purgative in the menstrual stage; nourishing kidney and blood, and regulating thoroughfare and conception vessels in the postmenstrual stage; warming kidney and supporting Yang, and dredging collaterals and hastening excretion in the interval stage;and tonifying kidney and spleen, and managing Qi and activating blood in the premenstruum stage. Leech is commonly adopted in clinic prescriptions to remove accumulation of persistent blood stasis and regulate mood, and combined with enema of traditional Chinese medicine, hot compress and other external therapies to enhance the curative effect.

Abstract
Infertility caused by salpingitis is one of the main causes of secondary infertility in women. In recent years, the incidence has been increasing year by year. Modern medicine believes that this disease is a complication due to incomplete or delayed treatment of acute and chronic salpingitis, with no satisfactory drug therapy at present. Clinical therapies mainly include surgical treatment, interventional treatment and assisted reproductive technology. After summarizing the experience of predecessors and the clinical practice of treating infertility for many years, the author considers that the disease location is the cell veins, and the nature is mostly mixed of deficiency and excess. Kidney deficiency and blood stasis are the main pathogenesis of infertility caused by salpingitis. Blood stasis is the pathological basis, while kidney deficiency is the fundamental pathogenesis. Long-term kidney deficiency will lead to blood stasis, and blood stasis will aggravate kidney deficiency. Both of them are cause and effect to each other. Infertility caused by salpingitis is difficult to cure. Based on the theory of kidney deficiency and blood stasis, the basic principles of clinical treatment are tonifying kidney and activating blood circulation, removing blood stasis and dredging collaterals. Oral administration with traditional Chinese medicine combined with external therapies, such as enema, external application, acupuncture and moxibustion, have been achieved a good efficacy in repairing fallopian tube function and improving pregnancy rate. Therefore, the treatment of infertility caused by salpingitis based on " kidney deficiency and blood stasis" is worthy of further discussion in both clinical and experimental aspects.

Abstract
Objective: To examine whether sleep problems are related to both emotional and behavioral problems in children aged 3-6 years. Methods: A large cross-sectional study was conducted in Anqing, Wuhu, Tongling and Yangzhou from March to June 2015. A total of 8 900 preschool aged children were included. Sleep problems were obtained by using adapted BISQ completed by the parents or the people who took care of children. Emotional and behavioral problems of the children were accessed by using Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), and multivariate logistic regression model was used for statistical analyses. Results: The detected rates of emotional symptoms, conduct problems, hyperactivity problems, peer problems, total difficulties and prosocial behavior in preschool aged children were 9.0%, 13.9%, 18.9%, 25.5%, 13.6% and 16.2% respectively. All the detected rates were higher in boys than in girls except the higher rate of emotional symptoms. The proportions of children with high sleep quality, moderate sleep quality and poor or worse sleep quality were 3.9%, 52.9% and 43.2% respectively. After controlling the confounding factors of demographic variables, including gender, age, delivery mode, birth weight, birth height and patent's educational level, multinomial logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of emotional symptoms, conduct problems, hyperactivity problems, peer problems, total difficulties and prosocial behavior in children with longer sleep duration was lower than that in children with shorter sleep duration, the ORs were 0.86 (95%CI: 0.77-0.95), 0.85 (95%CI: 0.78-0.93), 0.85 (95%CI: 0.79-0.92), 0.87(95%CI: 0.81-0.93), 0.83 (95%CI: 0.76-0.91) and 0.82 (95%CI: 0.76-0.89) respectively. Compared with the children with good sleep quality, the risk of emotional symptoms, conduct problems, hyperactivity problems, peer problems, total difficulties and prosocial behavior were higher in children with poor or worse sleep quality, the ORs were 3.26 (95%CI: 2.40-4.42), 2.86 (95%CI: 2.16-3.78), 2.60 (95%CI: 2.00-3.38), 1.96 (95%CI: 1.52-2.54), 4.02 (95%CI: 3.06-5.27) and 2.56 (95%CI: 1.96-3.35) respectively. Conclusion: There was a negative impact of shorter sleep and poor or worse sleep on emotional and behavioral problems of preschool aged children.
