Abstract
Gleason Score (GS) 3 + 4 prostate cancer (PCa) is heterogeneous in clinical course and molecular features. Risk stratification of indolent and aggressive PCa with GS 3 + 4 is critical, especially those with bone metastasis (BM) potential. Microarray-based microRNA(miRNA) profiling with eight PCa cases with or without BM was used to screen the candidate miRNAs associated with BM. Transwell and MTS assays were used to characterize the function of miRNAs and target gene LASP1. RT-qPCR and immunohistochemistry assays were utilized to illustrate the clinical significance of miRNAs and target gene in a cohort of 309 Chinese PCa cases. In the current study, we identified that miR-1-3p, miR-143-3p and miR-145-5p are associated with BM of GS 3 + 4 PCa. Through functional experiments, we show that miR-1-3p/143-3p/145-5p promotes proliferation and migration of PCa in vitro. LASP1 was predicted as the common target of these three miRNAs which was further confirmed by a luciferase assay. Overexpression of LASP1 was correlated with higher GS, higher pathological stage, and the presence of metastasis by immunohistochemistry. siRNA knockdown of LASP1 significantly suppressed proliferation and migration, whereas overexpression of LASP1 promoted it. Bioinformatics analysis revealed the involvement of Wnt signaling pathway in LASP1 mediated function. LASP1 may activate Wnt signaling by interacting with β-catenin. In all, we suggest that miR-1-3p/143-3p/145-5p are associated with BM of Gleason 3 + 4 PCa. LASP1 is the common target of these miRNAs and may active Wnt signaling by interacting with β-catenin.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the mutation characteristics of pathogenic genes in children with congenital hypothyroidism (CH) in Fujian. Methods: The clinical data of 116 unrelated CH children diagnosed in Fujian Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2019 to September 2020 were retrospectively analyzed, including 50 females and 66 males, with an average age of (20±10) days at diagnosis. Targeted exome sequencing technology was used to detect the mutation frequency, type and distribution characteristics of 29 genes related to thyroxine synthesis or thyroid development. Results: Three hundred and fifty-one potential functional mutations were detected in 105 of 116 CH patients, with a detection rate of 90.5% (105/116). DUOX2 (66.4%, 77/116) was the most frequent mutated gene, followed by TG (23.3%, 27/116), DUOXA1 (23.3%, 27/116), and TPO (12.1%, 14/116), which were all involved in thyroid hormone synthesis. Among the 105 children with CH, 70 cases carried double allele mutation. Except for 3 cases of thyroid dysplasia related genes (2 cases of TSHR and 1 case of GLIS3), the rest were also related to thyroid hormone synthesis. The gene with the highest carrier rate was DUOX2 (68.8%, 59/70), followed by TG (8.6%, 6/70), TPO (4.3%, 3/70), DUOXA2 (1.4%, 1/70) and DUOXA1 (1.4%, 1/70). Conclusion: The main mutated genes in CH children in Fujian are the key genes involved in thyroid hormone synthesis, such as DUOX2, TG and TPO.

Abstract
SHR4640 is a novel, selective urate reabsorption inhibitor. As the mode of action of SHR4640 differs from that of a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, such as febuxostat, coadministration of these drugs may be a treatment option for patients with primary hyperuricemia. We assessed the potential drug-drug interaction between SHR4640 and febuxostat. In this single-center, open-label, randomized, drug-drug interaction study, subjects received 80 mg febuxostat or 10 mg SHR4640 alone daily in the first week, whereas during the second week a combination of SHR4640 and febuxostat was administered daily to all subjects. Plasma concentrations of SHR4640 and febuxostat were analyzed. We compared their pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic parameters and assessed both safety and tolerability. Compared with febuxostat alone, the geometric mean ratios (90%CIs) of the maximum concentration (Cmax ) and the area under the plasma concentration-time curve over the dosing interval τ (AUC0-τ ) for febuxostat after coadministration were 1.284 (1.016 to 1.621) and 0.984 (0.876 to 1.106), respectively. The geometric mean ratios (90%CIs) of Cmax and AUC0-τ for SHR4640 after coadministration compared with SHR4640 alone were 0.910 (0.839 to 0.988) and 0.929 (0.893 to 0.966), respectively. Febuxostat had no effect on SHR4640 pharmacokinetic parameters, as the 90%CIs of the geometric mean ratios were all within the range of 0.80 to 1.25. The coadministration of febuxostat and SHR4640 was well tolerated. The coadministration of SHR4640 with febuxostat was not associated with any clinically relevant pharmacokinetic drug interactions. SHR4640 combined with febuxostat had a synergistic effect on reducing uric acid in the pharmacodynamics, with the AUC decreasing from 7440 to 3170 h μmol/L compared with febuxostat alone and from 5730 to 2960 h μmol/L compared with SHR4640 alone.

Abstract
Precise quantification of microcystins (MCs) in freshwater is crucial for environmental monitoring and human health. However, the preparation of traditional multi-sample external calibration curve (MSCC) is time consuming and prone to error. Here, a novel one-point calibration strategy including one sample multi-point calibration curve (OSCC) and in sample calibration curve (ISCC) is proposed for the quantitation of eight MCs in freshwater lakes using liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). The multiple isotopologue reaction monitoring (MIRM) of MCs and its 15N-labelled internal standards were used for OSCC and ISCC, respectively. The isotopic abundance of each MIRM channel could be calculated and measured accurately. Additionally, this strategy was comprehensively validated and showed good performance in selectivity, sensitivity, accuracy and precision as the traditional MSCC. Interestingly, OSCC could realize sample dilution by monitoring the less abundant MIRM transitions, while ISCC remove blank matrixes and generate calibration curve in each study samples. Furthermore, the proposed methodology was successfully applied to analyze several freshwater lake samples contaminated by MCs. Considering the advantages of excluding the MSCC preparation, simplified workflows and improved throughput, OSCC and ISCC will be favored for MCs monitoring and as an emerging approach in environmental pollutant control and prevention.

Abstract
Neoadjuvant hormonal therapy (NHT) prior to radical prostatectomy (RP) is an approach that can potentially maximize survival outcomes in prostate cancer (PCa) patients with high-risk disease. Unfortunately, subsets of patients do not respond well to such hormonal therapy. We previously identified several pathological parameters in predicting differences in response to NHT of PCa. However, little is known about the potential role and mechanism of miRNAs mediated NHT resistance (NHT-R) in PCa. Here we demonstrate that miR-l42-3p, miR-150-5p and miR-342-3p are the top downregulated miRNAs in PCa tissues with NHT-R. Functional analysis reveals that the three miRNAs inhibit cell proliferation in vitro. Transfection of miRNAs mimics strengthens the inhibitory effects of bicalutamide and enzalutamide to PCa cells. Luciferase reporter assay reveals that CREB5 is the common target of these three miRNAs. Clinically, high expression level of CREB5 correlates with high Gleason score, advanced tumor stage and NHT-R in PCa tissues. CREB5 expression promotes antiandrogen therapy resistance in LNCaP cells and IL6 signaling pathway may be involved in this process. In all, our findings highlight an important role of miR-142-3p, miR-150-5p, and miR-342-3p in contributing NHT-R by targeting CREB5 in PCa.

Abstract
Abstract
Introduction
Due to the clinical implications of stroke in patients, the “2IQBIONEURO” project promoted by the Interreg VA Spain-Portugal programme (POCTEP) aims to study the treatment of neurological diseases associated with ageing. The aim was to evaluate the feasibility of the technique of selective cerebral artery (CA) embolisation for the creation of a stroke model in rabbits.
Methods
In 3 rabbits, through a 4Fr introducer in the femoral artery, a 4Fr Cobra catheter and 0.035″ guide was placed in the aortic arch to perform angiography of the brachiocephalic trunk. Under road-mapping, the right common carotid artery was catheterised, and its bifurcation into its external and internal branches was visualised with angiography in an oblique position (90°). With a 1.5Fr microcatheter and 0.008″ microguidewire inserted coaxially, the internal carotid artery was catheterised to perform superselective angiography of the cerebral vasculature. The microcatheter was positioned in the CA for embolisation by injection of PVA (100–200 µm) until stasis was reached as an end point or when reflux occurred. MRI monitoring was performed before and after embolisation (2, 5 and 24 hours). After 24 hours, neurological evaluation and macroscopic postmortem study with tetrazolium were performed.
Results
Successful occlusion of the CA was achieved in all animals whose lesion was observed on MRI.
Conclusions
The development of a stroke model in rabbits by selective embolisation of the CA is feasible, and can be used for the preclinical study of stroke.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Spinal cord involvement by Cryptococcus neoformans infection is extremely rare, with most cases occurring in immunosuppressed patients. CASE PRESENTATION A young male patient presented with a 10-day history of progressive lower limb weakness culminating in paralysis, urinary incontinence, and constipation. The patient had no known immunodeficiency induced by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), malignancy, or organ transplantation. Laboratory investigations showed elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) levels; however, all other immune indicators were normal. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed oval-shaped extradural masses (1.3-3.5 cm) with isointense T1-weighted signal and heterogeneous T2-weighted signal in the spinal canal at the level of the 9th thoracic vertebra. The lesions spread along the intervertebral foramen and involved both sides, showing significant enhancement in contrast-enhanced MRI. The patient was managed surgically, in combination with antifungal and anti-tuberculous therapy and could walk independently 3 months after the treatment. Cryptococcosis was confirmed by histopathology and fungal culture. CONCLUSIONS The results suggest that for lesions that affect spinal stability or cause severe nerve damage, surgical treatment should be considered along with medical management.

Abstract
Introduction: Metronomic maintenance therapy (MMT) has significantly improved the survival of patients with high-risk rhabdomyosarcoma in clinical trials. However, there remains a lack of relevant data on its effectiveness in real-world situations. Methods: We retrospectively retrieved data of 459 patients < 18 years of age diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center from January 2011 to July 2020 from our database. The MMT regimen was oral vinorelbine 25-40 mg/m2 for twelve 4-week cycles on days 1, 8, and 15, and oral cyclophosphamide 25-50 mg/m2 daily for 48 consecutive weeks. Results: A total of 57 patients who underwent MMT were included in the analysis. The median follow-up time was 27.8 (range: 2.9-117.5) months. From MMT to the end of follow-up, the 3-year PFS and OS rates were 40.6% ± 6.8% and 58.3% ± 7.2%, respectively. The 3-year PFS was 43.6% ± 11.3% in patients who were initially diagnosed as low- and intermediate-risk but relapsed after comprehensive treatment (20/57), compared with 27.8% ± 10.4% in high-risk patients (20/57) and 52.8% ± 13.3% in intermediate-risk patients who did not relapse (17/57). The corresponding 3-year OS for these three groups was 65.8% ± 11.4%, 50.1% ± 12.9%, and 55.6% ± 13.6%, respectively. Conclusion: We present a novel study of MMT with oral vinorelbine and continuous low doses of cyclophosphamide in real-world pediatric patients with RMS. Our findings showed that the MMT strategy significantly improved patient outcomes and may be an effective treatment for high-risk and relapsed patients.

Abstract
As total mesorectal excision (TME) for rectal cancer is widely carried out in China, lateral ligament of rectum, as an important anatomical structure of the lateral rectum with certain anatomical value and clinical significance, has been the focus of attention. In this paper, by comparing and analyzing the characteristics about ligaments of the abdomen and pelvis, reviewing the membrane anatomy and the theory of primitive gut rotation, and combining clinical observations and histological studies, the author came to a conclusion that lateral ligament of rectum does not exist, but is only a relatively dense space on the rectal side accompanied by numerous tiny nerve plexuses and small blood vessels penetrating through it.

Abstract
Eldecalcitol is a novel active vitamin D3 1,25(OH)2 D3 derivative used in the treatment of osteoporosis. To investigate and compare the pharmacokinetic and bioequivalent profiles of two eldecalcitol soft capsule formulations at a single dose of 0.75 µg in healthy Chinese volunteers, we conducted a randomized single-dose, open-label, two-period crossover study under fasting and fed conditions. Eligible subjects were randomly assigned to receive reference eldecalcitol soft capsules or test capsules in the first treatment period and to receive another formulation in the second period. Serial blood samples were collected for pharmacokinetic analysis. Adverse events were recorded. In total, 28 healthy subjects were enrolled in the fasting trial and 30 subjects were enrolled in the fed trial. The geometric mean ratios of the test formulation to the reference formulation for Cmax , AUC0-t , and AUC0-∞ were 94.2%, 94.0%, and 103.3%, respectively, under fasting conditions and 100.1%, 97.3%, and 96.0%, respectively, under fed conditions. No severe adverse events were observed. The results showed that the test and reference eldecalcitol formulations were bioequivalent and well tolerated in healthy Chinese subjects under fasting and fed conditions.

Abstract
We used 14 C-radiolabelling to study the non-extractable residues (NERs) formation of tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) in a humic acid (HA) suspension under catalysis of laccase in the presence of copper. When entering the suspension after TBBPA adsorbing to HA supramolecular associates, Cu2+ at low concentrations (even without toxicity to laccase) significantly reduced the amount and first-order kinetic constant of the NER formation, while Cu2+ had no significant effect on the formation after it was complexed with HA. The inhibition effect of Cu2+ on the NER formation is explained to be attributed to the prevention of laccase-induced oxidation of TBBPA in the voids of HA associates by complexation of Cu2+ with periphery molecules of the associates. The results provide insights into varying effects of heavy metals on the environmental fate of organic contaminants and suggest that co-existing heavy metals could increase their environmental risk by reducing their NER formation.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the influencing factors of healthy life expectancy (HLE). Methods: Seven Chinese and English databases were used for the retrieval of related literatures published by May 7, 2022 to identify influencing factors of HLE, including diseases and injuries and their risk factors. Based on the ecological model of health determinants, this study classifies the risk factors of diseases and injuries into five levels: personal characteristics, individual behavior and lifestyle, social network, living and working conditions, and macroscopic socio-economic, cultural and environmental conditions. Contents of research area, HLE indicators, research population, influencing factors, data sources and results were extracted. The frequencies of reported documents of different HLE indicators and influencing factors of different dimensions were visualized by using evidence map, and the empirical studies of four authoritative English medical journals and Chinese core medical journals were further compared and described. Results: A total of 90 studies were selected, in which 26 were conducted in China (28.9%). Fifty-three studies are about diseases and injuries in the first dimension, and all of them have studied non-communicable diseases, accounting for the highest proportion (58.9%). There were 77 studies about the analysis on the determinants of health at five levels by an ecological model, all the studies reported multi-level results. Among them, 53 studies reported personal characteristics (58.9%), 47 studies reported individual behavior and lifestyle (52.2%), 10 studies reported social networks (11.1%), 35 studies reported living and working environment (38.9%), 8 studies reported social economy, culture status and environment condition (8.9%). The literatures about HLE published by 4 authoritative English medical journals and 21 Chinese core medical journals in recent three years were selected. Non-communicable diseases and personal characteristics were the top two most commonly studied factors of HLE, and 11 (52.3%) and 12 (57.1%) studies reported these two kinds of factors respectively. The most important factor contributing to the global disability-adjusted life years of non-communicable diseases was individual behavior and lifestyle, which was the most changeable factor. Conclusions: In recent three years, studies involving influencing factors of HLE were mainly non-communicable diseases and personal characteristics. In the future, individual behavior, lifestyle and working environment should be strengthened.

Real-time 3D echocardiographic transilluminated imaging combined with artificially intelligent left atrial appendage measurement for atrial fibrillation interventional procedures. Front Physiol 2022; 13:1043551. Abstract
Aims: This study investigated the feasibility and accuracy of real-time three-dimensional (3D) echocardiographic transilluminated imaging (TrueVue Glass) in left atrial appendage (LAA) anatomical morphology and artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted 3D automated LAA measurement (3D Auto LAA) software in the preoperative evaluation of LAA occlusion (LAAO) in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Method and results: Thirty-seven patients with AF were selected. Two-dimensional (2D) and real-time 3D transesophageal echocardiography (RT3D-TEE) were performed preoperatively, using conventional 3D, the new 3D TrueVue Glass mode, and cardiac computed tomography angiography (CCTA) to assess and type the morphology of LAA. Physiological parameters were measured using traditional 2D and 3D manual (3D Manual LAA), 3D Auto LAA, and CCTA. TrueVue Glass for LAA outer contour display was compared with CCTA. Comparisons were based on correlation and consistency in measuring the maximum diameter (LZ max), minimum diameter (LZ min), area (LZ area), and circumference (LZ cir) of LAA landing zone (LZ). Times and variabilities were compared. The concordance rate for external shape of LAA was 97.14% between TrueVue Glass and CCTA. 3D Auto LAA and 3D Manual LAA have a stronger correlation and higher consistency in all parameters. 3D Auto LAA showed higher intra- and interobserver reproducibility and allowed quicker analysis (p < 0.05). LAAO was performed in 35 patients (94.59%), and none of which had serious adverse events. Conclusion: TrueVue Glass is the first non-invasive and radiation-free visualization of the overall external contour of LAA and its adjacent structures. 3D Auto LAA simplifies the measurement, making the preoperative assessment more efficient and convenient while ensuring the accuracy and reproducibility. A combination of the two is feasible for accurate and rapid assessment of LAA anatomy and physiology in AF patients and has practical application in LAAO.

Chicken anemia virus VP1 negatively regulates type I interferon via targeting interferon regulatory factor 7 of the DNA-sensing pathway. Poult Sci 2022; 102:102291. Abstract
The cyclic GMP-AMP synthase (cGAS)-stimulator of interferon genes (STING) signaling pathway plays a vital role in sensing viral DNA in the cytosol, stimulating type I interferon (IFN) production and triggering the innate immune response against DNA virus infection. However, viruses have evolved effective inhibitors to impede this sensing pathway. Chicken anemia virus (CAV), a nonenveloped ssDNA virus, is a ubiquitous pathogen causing great economic losses to the poultry industry globally. CAV infection is reported to downregulate type I IFN induction. However, whether the cGAS-STING signal axis is used by CAV to regulate type I IFN remains unclear. Our results demonstrate that CAV infection significantly elevates the expression of cGAS and STING at the mRNA level, whereas IFN-β levels are reduced. Furthermore, IFN-β activation was completely blocked by the structural protein VP1 of CAV in interferon stimulatory DNA (ISD) or STING-stimulated cells. VP1 was further confirmed as an inhibitor by interacting with interferon regulatory factor 7 (IRF7) by binding its C-terminal 143-492 aa region. IRF7 dimerization induced by TANK binding kinase 1 (TBK1) could be inhibited by VP1 in a dose-dependent manner. Together, our study demonstrates that CAV VP1 is an effective inhibitor that interacts with IRF7 and antagonizes cGAS-STING pathway-mediated IFN-β activation. These findings reveal a new mechanism of immune evasion by CAV.

Investigation of chemoresistance to first-line chemotherapy and its possible association with autophagy in high-risk neuroblastoma. Front Oncol 2022; 12:1019106. Abstract
High-risk neuroblastoma (NB) is sensitive to chemotherapy but susceptible to chemoresistance. In this study, we aimed to analyze the incidence of chemoresistance in high-risk NB patients and to explore the role of autophagy in NB chemoresistance. We retrospectively analyzed the incidence of changing the chemotherapy regimen due to disease stabilization or disease progression during induction chemotherapy in high-risk NB patients, which was expressed as the chemoresistance rate. The autophagy levels were probed in tumor cells exposed to first-line chemotherapy agents. The sensitivity of tumor cells to chemotherapy agents and apoptosis rate were observed after inhibiting autophagy by transfection of shRNA or chloroquine (CQ). This study included 247 patients with high-risk NB. The chemoresistance rates of patients treated with cyclophosphamide + adriamycin + vincristine (CAV) alternating with etoposide + cisplatin (EP) (Group 1) and CAV alternating with etoposide + ifosfamide + cisplatin (VIP) (Group 2) was 61.5% and 39.9% (P = 0.0009), respectively. Group 2 had better survival rates than group 1. After exposure to cisplatin, cyclophosphamide, and etoposide, the autophagy-related proteins LC3-I, LC3-II, and Beclin-1 were upregulated, and the incidence of autophagy vesicle formation and the expression of P62 were increased. Chemotherapeutic agents combined with CQ significantly increased the chemotherapeutic sensitivity of tumor cells and increased the cell apoptosis. The downregulated expression of Beclin-1 increased the sensitivity of tumor cells to chemotherapeutics. Our results suggest that increasing the chemotherapy intensity can overcome resistance to NB. Inhibition of autophagy is beneficial to increase the sensitivity of NB to chemotherapy agents.

Cancer Chemother Pharmacol 2022; 90:409-415. Abstract
Abstract
Background
Famitinib is an oral, small-molecule, multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor under clinical investigation for the treatment of solid tumors. As famitinib is metabolized mainly by cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4), the study was conducted to investigate the effect of potent CYP3A4 inducer rifampin on the pharmacokinetics of famitinb.
Methods
This single-center, single-arm and fixed-sequence drug–drug interaction study enrolled 21healthy Chinese male subjects. Subjects received a single oral dose of famitinib 25 mg on days 1 and 16 and repeated administration of oral rifampin 600 mg once daily on days 10–23. Blood samples were collected and plasma concentrations of famitinib were measured by validated liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) method. Pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated using noncompartmental analysis and safety was assessed.
Results
In the presence of rifampin, the famitinib geometric mean maximum plasma concentration (Cmax) and area under the plasma concentration–time curve from time zero to infinity (AUC0–∞) decreased by 48% and 69%, respectively, and the mean elimination half-life was shortened from 33.9 to 18.2 h. The geometric mean ratio (GMR) of famitinib Cmax and AUC0–∞ and their 90% CI were 0.52 (0.50, 0.54) and 0.31 (0.29, 0.33). Single dose of famitinib 25 mg was well tolerated and eight subjects (38.1%) reported treatment emergent adverse events, which were all grade 1–2 in severity.
Conclusion
Co-administration of rifampin considerably reduces plasma concentration of famitinb due to CYP3A4 induction. Concomitant administration of famitinib and strong CYP3A4 inducers should be avoided, whereas when simultaneous use with inducers of CYP3A4, dose adjustment of famitinb is recommended.

Abstract
Aims: This study explored the advantages and limitations of novel series of three-dimensional (3D) echocardiographic techniques and summarized their application methods for congenital heart diseases (CHDs). Method and result: Two-dimensional (2D), traditional 3D echocardiography, and TrueVue plus light and/or Glass novel 3D technologies were performed on 62 patients with CHD, and a clinical survey was designed to judge whether the novel 3D images were more helpful for understanding the cardiac condition and guide treatment than traditional 3D images. TrueVue increased the visual resolution and simulated the true texture of cardiac tissue, significantly improving the display ability of abnormal anatomical structures in CHDs. TrueVue Glass displayed the blood channel and the internal structure of cardiac cavity more intuitively, indicating a new observation aspect not shown by conventional echocardiography. The clinical survey results showed that the new 3D imaging methods effectively increased the diagnostic confidence of echocardiographers, enabled surgeons to better understand the details of lesions, promoted efficient communication, and improved the confidence of both doctors and patients in treatment. Conclusion: The combined application of TrueVue, TrueVue Light, and TrueVue Glass more closely simulated real anatomical features, showed more comprehensive and subtle blood flow in the lumen, not only increased the visual effect but also provided more useful diagnostic information, improved the accuracy of evaluation and treatment of CHD when compared to traditional imaging techniques, indicating that this combined application has significant clinical value.

Abstract
First-aid hemostatic agents for acute bleeding can save lives in emergency situations. However, rapid hemostasis remains challenging when uncontrolled hemorrhage occurs on lethal noncompressible and irregular wounds. Herein, cellulose-based cryogel microspheres with deliberately customized micromorphologies for ultrafast water transportation and diffusion, including the shark skin riblet-inspired wrinkled surface with low fluid drag and the hydrophilic nanoporous 3D networks, are developed to deal with the acute noncompressible bleeding within seconds. These cryogel microspheres can rapidly absorb a large amount of blood over 6 times their own weight in 10 s and form a robust barrier to seal a bleeding wound without applying pressure. Remarkably, massive bleeding from a cardiac penetrating hole is effectively stopped using the microspheres within 20 s and no blood leakage is observed after 30 min. Additionally, these microspheres could be readily removed without rebleeding and capillary thrombus, which is highly favorable to rapid hemostasis in emergency rescue.

Abstract
In the study, Fe-MIL-100 was modified by adding Co2+ in the synthesis process; Co/Fe-MIL-100 was successfully synthesized and used to adsorb tetracycline. The addition of Co2+ increased the thermal stability of Fe-MIL-100 without changing the crystal structure. It was found that Co/Fe-MIL-100 exhibited satisfactory performance in tetracycline removal, the tetracycline removal efficiency reached almost 100% in the initial concentration range of 10-40 mg/L, and it still reached 82.38% under the condition of 60 mg/L tetracycline. Besides, the factors of tetracycline concentration, pH and inorganic anion on removal efficiency were explored. The coexistence of inorganic anion decreased the adsorption capacity of tetracycline due to the competitive adsorption. CO32- had a more obvious inhibition effect on the adsorption efficiency of tetracycline than Cl-. The fitting correlation coefficient of Langmuir model was higher and the kinetics better fitted by pseudo-second-order, respectively. As a result of its high removal efficiency and excellent recycling performance, it has great potential in application fields such as removing tetracycline from wastewater.
