Abstract
Considering the side effects of etomidate, it requires additional anesthetics to reduce the side effects and improve efficacy. Ketamine is often used as an adjunct anesthetic. We hypothesized that etomidate combined with fentanyl was more effective than etomidate combined with ketamine in the anesthesia of pediatric strabotomy. To prove our hypothesis, a prospective randomized controlled clinical study was performed, in which 35 children with strabotomy received etomidate plus ketamine (group A) for anesthesia induction and maintenance and 35 children with strabotomy received etomidate combined with fentanyl (group B). Mean arterial pressure (MAP), heart rate (HR), bispectral index (BIS), anesthesia effect, and emergence agitation and pain were observed before anesthesia induction (T1), after anesthesia induction (T2), at the beginning of the operation (T3), after 10-min operation (T4), and at the end of the operation (T5). Children in group B had significantly lower MAP and HR from T3 to T5, decreased BIS from T2 to T4, better anesthesia effect, and smaller emergence agitation and pain scores at 10 min after entering into postanesthesia care unit (PACU) compared with group A (p < 0.05). The mean emergence agitation score in group B was significantly lower than that in group A when the maximum emergence in group B was at 20 min after entering into PACU (p < 0.05). In conclusion, etomidate combined with fentanyl plays a good efficacy in anesthesia of pediatric strabotomy compared with etomidate plus ketamine.

Abstract
Background New therapeutic drugs are urgently needed against visceral leishmaniasis because current drugs, such as pentavalent antimonials and miltefosine, produce severe side effects and development of resistance. Whether cyclosporine A (CsA) and its derivatives can be used as therapeutic drugs for visceral leishmaniasis has been controversial for many years. Methods In this study, we evaluated the efficacy of CsA and its derivative, dihydrocyclosporin A (DHCsA-d), against promastigotes and intracellular amastigotes of Leishmania donovani. Sodium stibogluconate (SSG) was used as a positive control. Results Our results showed that DHCsA-d was able to inhibit the proliferation of L. donovani promastigotes (IC50: 21.24 μM and 12.14 μM at 24 h and 48 h, respectively) and intracellular amastigotes (IC50: 5.23 μM and 4.84 μM at 24 and 48 h, respectively) in vitro, but CsA treatment increased the number of amastigotes in host cells. Both DHCsA-d and CsA caused several alterations in the morphology and ultrastructure of L. donovani, especially in the mitochondria. However, DHCsA-d showed high cytotoxicity towards cells of the mouse macrophage cell line RAW264.7, with CC50 values of 7.98 μM (24 h) and 6.65 μM (48 h). Moreover, DHCsA-d could increase IL-12, TNF-α and IFN-γ production and decrease the levels of IL-10, IL-4, NO and H2O2 in infected macrophages. On the contrary, CsA decreased IL-12, TNF-α, and IFN-γ production and increased the levels of IL-10, IL-4, NO and H2O2 in infected macrophages. The expression of L. donovani cyclophilin A (LdCyPA) in promastigotes and intracellular amastigotes and the expression of cyclophilin A (CyPA) in RAW 264.7 cells were found to be significantly downregulated in the CsA-treated group compared to those in the untreated group. However, no significant changes in LdCyPA and CyPA levels were found after DHCsA-d or SSG treatment. Conclusions Our findings initially resolved the dispute regarding the efficacy of CsA and DHCsA-d for visceral leishmaniasis treatment. CsA showed no significant inhibitory effect on intracellular amastigotes. DHCsA-d significantly inhibited promastigotes and intracellular amastigotes, but it was highly cytotoxic. Therefore, CsA and DHCsA-d are not recommended as antileishmanial drugs.![]()

Abstract
Objective: To study the clinicopathological features, diagnostic features and differential diagnoses of SMARCB1 (INI1)-deficient sinonasal carcinoma (SDSC). Methods: Six cases of SDSC diagnosed at Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital, Fudan University from 2016 to 2018 were retrieved; the clinical features, histomorphology, immunophenotype, radiology and outcome were analyzed with review of literature. Results: There were five men and one woman with age range of 37 years to 75 years (mean 56 years). One case was in stage T2, and 5 cases were in stage T4. Computer tomography and magnetic resonance imaging showed a mass occupying the sinonasal cavity with bone destruction in all six patients. Microscopically, the tumors had infiltrative margins. Four tumors were composed mostly of basaloid cells, which possessed high nuclear/cytoplasmic ratio, scant cytoplasm, and minimalnuclear pleomorphism; and the cells were arranged in sheets or nests in a desmoplastic stroma. Two tumors were composed of rhabdoid cells, which possessed abundant, eosinophilic cytoplasm and eccentric nuclei, often growing in a nests or sheets pattern. Immunohistochemical staining showed that 6/6 cases had complete loss of INI1, diffusely and strongly positive for CKpan, and were negative for S-100 and EBER ISH; 4/6 cases were focally positive for p63; 1/5 was focally positive for Syn and p16. The Ki-67 index was 30% to 70%. The follow-up period ranged 1-26 months, with one patient died of extensive metastases, one had local recurrence, and two had lymph node metastases; one was alive without disease, and one was lost to follow-up. Conclusions: SMARCB1 (INI1)-deficient sinonasal carcinoma is mostly aggressive, with rapid progression and poor prognosis. Histomorphological spectrum predominantly consists of basaloid type and rhabdoid type. The complete loss of nuclear expression of INI1 can help to distinguish this tumor from its many mimickers.

Abstract
Stroke is the leading cause of death and long-term disability worldwide, and cognitive impairment and dementia are major complications of ischemic stroke. Cystatin C (CysC) has been found to be a neuroprotective factor in animal studies. However, the relationship between CysC levels and cognitive dysfunction in previous studies has revealed different results. This prospective observational study investigated the correlation between serum CysC levels and post-stroke cognitive dysfunction at 3 months. Data from 638 patients were obtained from the China Antihypertensive Trial in Acute Ischemic Stroke (CATIS). Cognitive dysfunction was assessed using the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) at 3 months after stroke. According to the MMSE score, 308 patients (52.9%) had post-stroke cognitive dysfunction. After adjusting for potential confounding factors, the odds ratio (95% CI) of post-stroke cognitive dysfunction for the highest quartile of serum CysC levels was 0.54 (0.30–0.98), compared with the lowest quartile. The correlation between serum CysC and cognitive dysfunction was modified by renal function status. We observed a negative linear dose-response correlation between CysC and cognitive dysfunction in patients with normal renal function (Plinearity = 0.044), but not in those with abnormal renal function. Elevated serum CysC levels were correlated with a low risk of 3-month cognitive dysfunction in patients with acute ischemic stroke, especially in those with normal renal function. The current results suggest that CysC is a protective factor for post-stroke cognitive dysfunction, and could be used to treat post-stroke cognitive dysfunction. The CATIS study was approved by the Institutional Review Boards at Soochow University from China (approval No. 2012-02) on December 30, 2012, and was registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (identifier No. NCT01840072) on April 25, 2013.

Abstract
Precision measurements by the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) on the International Space Station of ^{3}He and ^{4}He fluxes are presented. The measurements are based on 100 million ^{4}He nuclei in the rigidity range from 2.1 to 21 GV and 18 million ^{3}He from 1.9 to 15 GV collected from May 2011 to November 2017. We observed that the ^{3}He and ^{4}He fluxes exhibit nearly identical variations with time. The relative magnitude of the variations decreases with increasing rigidity. The rigidity dependence of the ^{3}He/^{4}He flux ratio is measured for the first time. Below 4 GV, the ^{3}He/^{4}He flux ratio was found to have a significant long-term time dependence. Above 4 GV, the ^{3}He/^{4}He flux ratio was found to be time independent, and its rigidity dependence is well described by a single power law ∝R^{Δ} with Δ=-0.294±0.004. Unexpectedly, this value is in agreement with the B/O and B/C spectral indices at high energies.

Abstract
Objective: To validate whether the prognostic stage groups by the 8th edition of the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging system provides improved prognostic accuracy in T1-2N1M0 postmastectomy breast cancer patients compared to 7th edition. Methods: a total of 1 823 female patients with T1-2N1M0 breast cancer who underwent mastectomy and axillary lymph node dissection without neoadjuvant chemotherapy were analyzed and restaged according to 8th edition. Univariate analysis of prognostic factors was evaluated by using log-rank test. Multivariate analysis was estimated by using the Cox proportional hazards model. The prognostic accuracy of the two staging systems was compared using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analyses and the concordance index (C-index). Results: 5-year locoregional recurrence rate (LRR) for the whole group was 6.0%, 5-year distant metastasis (DM) rate was 11.5%, 5-year disease-free survival (DFS) was 85.0%, and 5-year overall survival (OS) was 93.1%. Cox analysis showed that 7th edition of the AJCC staging system and progesterone receptor status were independent risk factors for LRR, DM, DFS and OS (P<0.05). Compared with stage by 7th edition, 1 278(70.1%) were assigned to a different prognostic stage group: 1 088 (85.1%) to a lower stage and 190 (14.9%) to a higher stage. LRR, DM, DFS and OS were significantly different between prognostic stage ⅠA, ⅠB, ⅡA, ⅡB and ⅢA according to 8th edition of the AJCC staging system(P<0.001). Prognostic stage had significantly higher C-indexes and provided better estimation of prognosis compared to stage by 7th edition of the AJCC staging system (P<0.001). Conclusion: The prognostic stage groups of 8th edition AJCC staging system has superior prognostic accuracy compared to 7th edition in T1-2N1M0 breast cancer, and has better clinical therapeutic guidance value.

Abstract
Abstract
Noncoding RNAs account for 80% of human transcripts, but functional studies on noncoding RNAs are relatively few and limited. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are known to have an important role in cardiac development, and lately, high-throughput RNA sequencing has been extensively utilized to profile and explore the transcriptome landscape of lncRNAs in failing hearts. These studies have revealed that lncRNAs are mostly dysregulated in failing hearts and their expression signature can discriminate failing hearts of different etiologies.
H19 is abundantly expressed in failing human hearts and its polymorphism was shown to possess a significant correlation with the risk of coronary artery diseases. In our study using murine hearts, we discovered that H19 was significantly up regulated in the heart after ischemic injury, with predominant expression in cardiac fibroblasts. This finding piqued our interest to further investigate the function of H19 in the heart.
We demonstrated that ectopic overexpression of H19 using the AAV approach led to severe cardiac fibrosis in mouse hearts following myocardial infarction. In light of this finding, we generated H19 knockout mice to further investigate the functionality of H19 and we found that cardiac fibrosis was attenuated in these mice. Altogether, these findings suggested that H19 is a fibrosis regulator during cardiac remodeling process after infarction. Due to the multiple regulatory roles of lncRNAs, we then took advantage of chromatin isolation by RNA purification (ChIRP) to identify the H19-interacting protein, YB-1. Surprisingly, mice with YB-1 knockdown displayed severe cardiac fibrosis even without injury. Furthermore, we demonstrated that YB-1 is a transcriptional suppressor of collagen 1A1. Knockout of H19 in YB-1 knockdown partially suppressed Col1a1 expression, which suggests a negative regulatory role of H19 on YB-1 towards the expression of Col1a1.
Taking into account all of these findings, we concluded that H19 mediates collagen expression in fibroblasts through the inhibition of YB-1 activity during cardiac remodeling.

Abstract
A MnCO₃ /Multiwalled carbon nanotube (MnCO₃/MWCNT) composite has been successfully fabricated by an in-suit hydrothermal method. When the MnCO₃/MWCNT composite is applied as anode materials in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), the electrodes exhibit a reversible capacity of 645 mA h g-1 at 100 mA g-1 after 80 cycles, reaching an initial coulombic efficiency (CE) of up to 60.6%. Furthermore, the as-prepared MnCO₃/MWCNT composite displays more excellent rate performances than the pure multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) and pure MnCO₃ particles. The reason is that the MnCO₃ particles can be effectively connected by the MWCNT, thus enhancing the electrochemical performance of the MnCO₃/MWCNT composite.

Abstract
Objective: Previous cross-sectional studies suggested that elevated levels of total cholesterol content of erythrocyte membrane (CEM) could significantly increase the risk of acute coronary syndrome (ACS). The purpose of the present study was to assess the predictive value of baseline CEM levels for the risk of clinical endpoint events in patients with ACS through prospective follow-up studies. Methods: This study is a prospective follow-up study, which consisted of 859 patients with first ACS (698 patients with unstable angina pectoris and 161 patients with acute myocardial infarction), diagnosed and hospitalized in the First and Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University. The routine blood lipid levels and CEM were measured. Patients were divided into two groups according to the median of baseline CEM: CEM≤131.56 μg/mg group (n=430) and CEM>131.56 μg/mg group (n=429). Patients were followed up at 6 months interval. The clinical endpoints were nonfatal myocardial infarction, nonfatal stroke, all-cause mortality, all-cause mortality, heart failure requiring hospitalization, and coronary artery revascularization. Kaplan-Meier curve analysis and Cox proportional hazard model were used to analyze the impact of elevated CEM on the occurrence of clinical end-point events. HR values and 95%CI of each variable were obtained. Cox regression analysis of all-cause mortality was performed according to whether patients had risk factors for coronary heart disease (hypertension, diabetes, smoking and elevated LDL-C) and whether they were treated with PCI. Results: The follow-up time was 1 640 (1 380, 2 189) days. Cox analysis after adjustment showed that an elevated baseline of CEM (>131.56 μg/mg) was associated with an increased risk of all-cause mortality (HR=1.690, 95%CI 1.041-2.742, P=0.034), but had no significant predictive effect on the other clinical endpoints. Subgroup analysis showed that elevated baseline CEM levels in ACS patients with LDL-C>1.8 mmol/L (HR=1.687, 95%CI 1.026-2.774, P=0.039), receiving in-hospital PCI (HR=2.365, 95%CI 1.054-5.307, P=0.037), or male (HR=1.794, 95%CI 1.010-3.186, P=0.046) were associated with an increased risk of all-cause mortality. Conclusion: The results showed that elevated CEM levels can increase the risk of all-cause mortality in ACS patients.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To provide new concepts of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction by anatomical gross observation of ACL tibial insertion and finite element analysis of distribution of ACL mechanical insertion. METHODS In the anatomical study, ten fresh adult cadaveric knees were dissected, including 6 males and 4 females, all knees were generally observed through standard medial parapatellar approaches, paying attention to the close anatomical relationship of tibial insertion and anterior horn of lateral meniscus, and ACL was exposed and gradually removed from the inside. The shape of tibial insertion of ACL was observed and recorded, and anterior-posterior diameters and left-right diameters of tibial insertion were measured with vernier caliper. For the study of finite element analysis, three-dimensional thin-layer magnetic resonance imaging of normal knee joint was used to establish knee joint model. Three-dimensional reconstruction software MIMICS and finite element analysis software ANSYS were used to establish knee joint model, subsequently, clinical physical examination Lachman test and pivot-shift test were simulated to observe the force distribution of ACL tibial insertion and femoral insertion. RESULTS The ACL tibial mechanical insertion was rather flat and long similar as an arc shape without a clear separation between anterior medial bundle (AMB) and posterolateral bundle (PLB) in gross observation. The dense fibers lies belonged to the medial intercondylar ridge and ended up anterior with the osseous landmark of anterior ridge. Its average anterior-posterior diameter was (13.8±2.0) mm, the average left-right diameter of midsubstance was (5.3±0.6) mm, and the average left-right diameter of anterior margin was (11.5±1.2) mm. The finite element analysis showed that distribution on the femoral side was oval shape mainly below the residents' ridge, while the tibial side was rather flat mainly along the medial intercondylar ridge, which was consistent with the anatomical observation. The biomechanical characteristics of ACL attachments were verified theoretically. CONCLUSION Anatomical study and finite element analysis have confirmed the flat arc shape of ACL tibial insertion. The ideal reconstruction technique of ACL should be based on its biomechanical insertion. Based on anatomical study and biomechanical analysis, we have proposed the idea of ACL biomechanical insertion reconstruction (BIR) and established a surgical model with oval femoral tunnel and rounded-rectangle tibial tunnel.

Abstract
We propose a conceptual design of InSe/ g-C3N4 van der Waals heterostructure to achieve highly efficient and spontaneous water splitting. InSe/ g-C3N4 possesses a direct band gap of 2.04 eV with type-II band alignment, which is beneficial to the separation of electrons and holes and exhibits proper valence and conduction-band positions for the redox reactions of H2O. In addition, the adsorption of multiple water molecules and the changes of free energy on InSe/ g-C3N4 have been calculated to understand the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) process of water splitting. The free energies of reaction on three sides are all downhill, and the values of Δ G reduce to about -0.406 eV, indicating that the OER of water splitting is a thermodynamically permissible reaction without the aid of any other substance. Therefore, the water-splitting reaction could be thermodynamically continued using InSe/ g-C3N4 as a photocatalyst, which indicates that InSe/ g-C3N4 is an excellent candidate for photocatalyst or photoelectronic applications.

Abstract
Gluon parton distribution functions (PDFs) in the proton can be calculated directly on Euclidean lattices using large momentum effective theory (LaMET). To realize this goal, one has to find renormalized gluon quasi-PDFs in which power divergences and operator mixing are thoroughly understood. For the unpolarized distribution, we identify four independent quasi-PDF correlators that can be multiplicatively renormalized on the lattice. Similarly, the helicity distribution can be derived from three independent multiplicatively renormalizable quasi-PDFs. We provide a LaMET factorization formula for these renormalized quasi-PDFs from which one can extract the gluon PDFs.

Abstract
Background and purpose The aim of this study was to retrospectively investigate clinical and neuroimaging characteristics in the largest sample size of patients with corpus callosum infarction to date and then to follow up these patients for 1 year to clarify the prognosis of this rare stroke entity. Methods A total of 127 patients with acute callosal infarction out of 5584 acute ischaemic stroke patients were included in this study. The recruited patients were divided into a pure callosal infarction group and a complex callosal infarction group (coupled with other infarct locations simultaneously), and clinical and neuroimaging features were analyzed. Some of the patients were followed up for 1 year to evaluate recurrence rate and mortality. Results The incidence of acute callosal infarction was 2.3%. Most patients presented with advanced neurological dysfunction with or without mild to moderate motor or sensory disorders on admission. The negative rate of computed tomography scan was still 76.4% even at >24 h after onset. Large‐artery atherosclerosis was the most common etiological type. Compared with complex callosal infarction, the pure callosal infarction group had more mental disorders (P = 0.030). Compared with common basal ganglia infarction, the pure callosal infarction group had better short‐term recovery (P = 0.016) but higher 1‐year mortality (P = 0.037). Age and mental disorders were independent risk factors for death in callosal infarction. Conclusions Callosal infarction is a white matter stroke that occurs with low incidence. Elderly patients with vascular risk factors showed sudden mental or cognitive disorders and callosal infarction could not be excluded. More attention should be paid to the early diagnosis and secondary prevention of callosal infarction because of its poor long‐term outcome.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate influence of nicotinic acid adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NAADP) on autophagy in hypoxic cardiomyocytes of rats and its mechanism. Methods: Five neonatal Sprague-Dawley rats were collected and sacrificed to harvest the hearts, and primary cardiomyocytes were separated for the following experiments. (1) Primary cardiomyocytes were collected and divided into normoxia group, hypoxia 9 h group, and hypoxia 9 h+ NAADP group according to random number table, with 5 wells in each group. Cells in normoxia group were cultured routinely in the constant temperature incubator at 37 ℃ for 9 hours. Cells in hypoxia 9 h group and hypoxia 9 h+ NAADP group were cultured in hypoxic incubator with volume fraction 94% nitrogen, 5% carbon dioxide, and 1% oxygen for 9 hours. Before hypoxia, cells in hypoxia 9 h+ NAADP group were dealt with final amount-of-substance concentration 10 μmol/L NAADP. Cell counting kit 8 was used to measure cell viability. (2) Primary cardiomyocytes were collected and divided into normoxia group, hypoxia 9 h group, hypoxia 9 h+ NAADP group, hypoxia 9 h+ tran-Ned-19 group, and hypoxia 9 h+ trans-Ned-19+ NAADP group according to the random number table, with 2 wells in each group. Cells in normoxia group were cultured routinely in the constant temperature incubator at 37 ℃ for 9 hours. And cells in the other 4 groups were cultured in hypoxic incubator as that in experiment (1) Before hypoxia, cells in hypoxia 9 h+ NAADP group were dealt with amount-of-substance concentration 10 μmol/L NAADP, cells in hypoxia 9 h+ tran-Ned-19 group were dealt with amount-of-substance concentration 1 μmol/L trans-Ned-19, and cells in hypoxia 9 h+ trans-Ned-19 + NAADP group were dealt with amount-of-substance concentration 10 μmol/L NAADP and 1 μmol/L trans-Ned-19. Protein expressions of microtubule associated protein 1 light chain 3-Ⅱ and P62 were detected by Western blotting. (3) Primary cardiomyocytes were collected and grouped as those in experiment (1). The lysosomal acidity was determined by immunofluorescence method. Data were processed with one-way analysis of variance and least-significant difference test. Results: (1) The cell viability in normoxia group was 1.114±0.024, which was significantly higher than 0.685±0.079 of cells in hypoxia 9 h group (P<0.01). The cell viability of hypoxia 9 h+ NAADP group was 0.886±0.061, which was obviously higher than that of cells in hypoxia 9 h group (P<0.05). (2) Expressions of microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3-Ⅱ and P62 of cells in hypoxia 9 h group were significantly higher than those of cells in normoxia group (P<0.01). Compared with those in hypoxia 9 h group, expression of P62 in hypoxia 9 h+ NAADP group was significantly decreased (P<0.01), while expression of microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3-Ⅱ did not change significantly (P>0.05). There were no significantly statistical difference in expressions of microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3-Ⅱ and P62 between hypoxia 9 h group and hypoxia 9 h+ trans-Ned-19 group (P>0.05). Compared with those of cells in hypoxia 9 h+ NAADP group, expression of P62 of cells in hypoxia 9 h+ trans-Ned-19+ NAADP group was obviously increased (P<0.01), while expression of microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3-Ⅱ did not change significantly (P>0.05). (3) The intensity of green fluorescence of cells in normoxia group was strong and co-localized well with red fluorescence, and internal environment of lysosome was with stronger acidity. The intensity of green fluorescence in cells of hypoxia 9 h group was significantly lower than that of cells in normoxia group, and acidity of internal environment of lysosome was weakened. The intensity of green fluorescence and acidity of internal environment of lysosome in hypoxia 9 h+ NAADP were significantly stronger than those of cells in hypoxia 9 h group, but significantly lower than those of cells in normoxia group. Conclusions: NAADP can improve myocardial cell viability through acidifying internal environment of lysosome of cardiomyocyte after hypoxia, promoting degradation of autophagosomes, reducing autophagic lysosomal accumulation, and repairing damaged autophagic flow.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate PLOD2 expression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and to explore the potential mechanism by which PLOD2 promotes tumor metastasis. Methods: The expression of PLOD2 in 60 cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (the patients were collected at the first Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University, from January 2016 to December 2017) was investigated by immunohistochemistry. Fibrillar collagen formation and collagen deposition were detected by picrosirius red staining. Correlation of PLOD2 expression with clinical pathologic features of the patients was performed using χ(2) test and Kaplan-Meier analysis. After EC-109 cells were transfected with LV-vector and LV-over/PLOD2, the expression of PLOD2 was detected by real time PCR and the impact of POLD2 on invasion in EC-109 cells was determined by transwell migration and invasion assays. The expression of PLOD2/AKT epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition signal pathway related proteins was detected by Western blot. Results: The expression level of PLOD2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma was 81.7% (49/60 cases),higher than their paired noncancerous tissues(8.3%, 5/60; P<0.01), and correlated significantly with tumor depth of invasion and nodal metastasis (P<0.01). Picrosirius red staining showed that collagen deposition was increased and the degree of fibrillar organization was enhanced in carcinoma tissues that had higher PLOD2 expression. Transwell migration and invasion assays showed that PLOD2 significantly promoted the migration and invasion ability of EC-109 cells. Western blot showed that PLOD2 significantly increased the expression levels of p-FAK, p-AKT and vimentin in EC-109 cells. Conclusions: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma has a high expression of PLOD2 that correlates with tumor invasion and lymph node metastasis. PLOD2 promotes invasion and metastasis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma through epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition via FAK/AKT signal pathway.

Abstract
Amphetamines are chemical synthetic drugs that are becoming increasingly popular in China. As a common sample in the inspection of poisons, hair has the advantages of easy storage, good stability, and long detection time compared with traditional human body fluid samples (blood, urine), thus possesses an unique application value in the field of forensic toxicology analysis. By now, methods for detecting amphetamines in human hair have been widely used, and validity of the results has been recognized and adopted by the court. This paper reviews domestic and foreign research progress of the detection of amphetamines in hair samples, including the pretreatment and analytic methods.

Abstract
Precision results on cosmic-ray electrons are presented in the energy range from 0.5 GeV to 1.4 TeV based on 28.1×10^{6} electrons collected by the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer on the International Space Station. In the entire energy range the electron and positron spectra have distinctly different magnitudes and energy dependences. The electron flux exhibits a significant excess starting from 42.1_{-5.2}^{+5.4} GeV compared to the lower energy trends, but the nature of this excess is different from the positron flux excess above 25.2±1.8 GeV. Contrary to the positron flux, which has an exponential energy cutoff of 810_{-180}^{+310} GeV, at the 5σ level the electron flux does not have an energy cutoff below 1.9 TeV. In the entire energy range the electron flux is well described by the sum of two power law components. The different behavior of the cosmic-ray electrons and positrons measured by the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer is clear evidence that most high energy electrons originate from different sources than high energy positrons.

Abstract
Precision measurements of cosmic ray positrons are presented up to 1 TeV based on 1.9 million positrons collected by the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer on the International Space Station. The positron flux exhibits complex energy dependence. Its distinctive properties are (a) a significant excess starting from 25.2±1.8 GeV compared to the lower-energy, power-law trend, (b) a sharp dropoff above 284_{-64}^{+91} GeV, (c) in the entire energy range the positron flux is well described by the sum of a term associated with the positrons produced in the collision of cosmic rays, which dominates at low energies, and a new source term of positrons, which dominates at high energies, and (d) a finite energy cutoff of the source term of E_{s}=810_{-180}^{+310} GeV is established with a significance of more than 4σ. These experimental data on cosmic ray positrons show that, at high energies, they predominantly originate either from dark matter annihilation or from other astrophysical sources.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the related factors of death from severe heat stroke in Shanghai from 2013 to 2017. Methods: The data of 1 152 patients with severe heat stroke who were divided into survival (n=1 037) and death (n=115) groups including gender, age and heat stroke type (heat cramp, heat exhaustion, heat apoplexy and the mixed type) were collected from meteorological bureau and case report system for high temperature heat stroke in Shanghai from 2013 to 2017. Meanwhile, the meteorological data of the onset date of severe heat stroke cases were collected, including maximum temperature, minimum temperature, daily temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, precipitation and wind speed. The differences of individual and meteorological factors between the two groups were compared, and multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the related factors of death from severe heat stroke. Results: Among 1 152 cases, the mean±SD of age was (56.29±18.95) years old, 843 (73.18%)were male, 962 (83.51%) were in the heat wave period; 322 cases (27.95%) were heat cramp, 170 cases (14.76%) were heat exhaustion, 533 cases (46.27%) were heat apoplexy and 114 cases (9.90%) were the mixed type. Daily average temperature ((32.81±1.99) ℃), daily maximum and minimum temperatures ((38.20±2.24) ℃ and (29.22±1.94) ℃) in survival group were lower than those in death group (all P values<0.001), which were (33.76±1.17) ℃, (39.19±1.31) ℃ and (29.72±1.66) ℃. Daily average relative humidity ((60.36±9.75)%) and daily minimum relative humidity ((41.26±9.71)%) in survival group were higher than those in death group(allP values <0.05), which were (54.59±6.89)% and (35.60±7.24)%. The results of logistic regression analysis suggested that compared with the cases with daily average humidity <60% and a mixed type heat stroke, the death OR (95%CI) values of cases with daily average humidity >60%, heat cramp, heat exhaustion and heat apoplexy were 0.31 (0.18,0.54), 0.13 (0.05,0.34), 0.68 (0.58,2.30) and 0.87 (0.48,1.58). Conclusion: The temperature, relative humidity and the type of heat stroke were the main related factors affecting the prognosis of severe heat stroke.

Abstract
We present a state-of-the-art calculation of the isovector quark-helicity Bjorken-x distribution in the proton using lattice-QCD ensembles at the physical pion mass. We compute quasidistributions at proton momenta P_{z}∈{2.2,2.6,3.0} GeV on the lattice and match them systematically to the physical parton distribution using the large-momentum effective theory. We reach an unprecedented precision through high statistics in simulations, large-momentum proton matrix elements, and control of excited-state contamination. The resulting distribution with combined statistical and systematic errors is in agreement with the latest phenomenological analysis of the spin-dependent experimental data, in particular, Δu[over ¯](x)>Δd[over ¯](x).

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the expression of triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells receptor-1 (TREM-1) in plasma and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and its correlation with Galactomannan, IFNγ, IL-6 and IL-10 in Aspergillus infected mice. Methods: Cyclophosphamide(CTX) was intraperitoneally injected and fumigatus spore suspension was inhaled by nose to establish the immunocompromised invasive pulmonary aspergillosis(IPA) mouse model.Healthy controls, immunocompromised only and IPA only groups were also established. Each group had 6 mice. After inoculation, mice were sacrificed. Lung tissue specimens, BALF, and plasma samples were collected. Plasma and BALF soluble TREM-1 (sTREM-1), Galactomannan, IFNγ, IL-6, and IL-10 were detected by ELISA. Results: Positive Aspergillus fumigatus was found by tissue culture in the lung. Infiltration of inflammatory cells, blood congestion and interstitial lung tissue injury were observed in histological sections of both IPA and immunocompromised IPA mice. Compared to IPA group [(453.78±74.18) ng/L, P<0.001; (10.21±1.46) ng/L, P<0.001] and control group [(245.16±65.85) ng/L, P<0.001; (6.60±3.74) ng/L, P<0.001], the plasma and BALF sTREM-1 significantly increased in immunocompromised IPA group [(1 537.64±359.52) ng/L; (20.12±2.72) ng/L]. Compared to control group, both the BALF sTREM-1 in IPA group (P=0.041) and the plasma and BALF Galactomannan, IFNγ, IL-6, and IL-10 levels in IPA and immunocompromised IPA groups were significantly higher (P<0.01). Pearson correlation analysis showed that plasma and BALF sTREM-1 were significantly correlated with Galactomannan (r=0.83, P<0.001; r=0.82, P<0.001), IFNγ (r=0.79, P<0.001; r=0.61, P<0.01), IL-6 (r=0.81, P<0.001; r=0.66, P<0.01), and IL-10 (r=0.70, P=0.001; r=0.54, P=0.02). Conclusions: Plasma and BALF sTREM-1 appears highly expressed in Aspergillus infected mice. sTREM-1 in mice plasma and BALF is closely correlated with Galactomannan, IFNγ, IL-6, and IL-10 levels, which suggests that sTREM-1 has great diagnostic value during invasive fungal infection.

Abstract
Objective: Present study analyzed the association betwen the postassium voltage-gated channel KQT-like subfamily member 1 gene (KCNQ1) mutation and the clinical and the electrocardiographic features in 2 pedigrees with congenital long QT syndrome type 1 (LQT1) in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Methods: Three family members were diagnosed as LQT1 patients in 2 Uygur congenital LQT1 families, these 3 LQT1 patients served as long QT group, 24 Uygur healthy volunteers served as control group. Electrocardiogram (ECG) and the gene detection were applied to compare the ECG and molecular genetic features between the long QT group and control group, and to explore the relationship between the KCNQ1 gene mutation and the clinical and the electrocardiographic features in these 2 families with congenital long QT syndrome type 1. Results: The LQT1 was diagnosed in 3 cases of the 2 pedigrees. The common features of ECG were QTc>480 ms, prolonged ST segment, and delayed T wave. The gene test evidenced a polymorphism of KCNQ1 gene exon 13:47G➝A(R16R). The mutation of 133G➝A9(G45S) of exon 16 resulted in the change of the original glycine (G) to serine (s). The ECG of the control group were normal, and there were no KCNQ1 gene mutations in control group. Conclusion: The exon sequencing results of KCNQ1 gene in 2 Xinjiang Uygur congenital long LQT1 families showed that exon16 missense changes (133G to A (G45S)) can lead to amino acid mutation, this mutation may be a pathogenic mutation. Subsequent validation of the expanded sample will provide a reference for revealing the relationship between the KCNQ1 gene and the pathogenesis of LQT1.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the prevalence of diphenoxylate abuse and related factors of forced drug abstainer in Gansu province. Methods: By using a self-designed questionnaire, an epidemiologic investigation was carried out among 2 108 forced drug abstainer selected from the compulsory isolation detoxification center of Gansu province. A case-control study was conducted to analyze the factors related with diphenoxylate abuse. Results: The diphenoxylate abuse rate among forced drug abstainer in Gansu was 19.8% (406/2 046), ranking first in medical drug abuse. Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that factors as relieving withdrawal symptoms (OR=2.08, 95%CI: 1.01- 4.32), ways to obtain diphenoxylate (other ways: OR=1.00; regular clinic: OR=27.67, 95%CI: 2.64-289.82; friend: OR=0.01, 95%CI: 0.01-0.03), degree of euphoria (high: OR=1.00; medium: OR =3.36, 95%CI: 1.18-9.55; low: OR=26.16, 95%CI: 10.30-66.42), years of drug abuse (<5 years: OR=1.00; 10-15 years: OR=2.48, 95%CI: 1.02-6.04), abuse at home or in friend's house (OR=3.04, 95%CI: 1.08-8.68), abuse in car (OR=0.05, 95%CI: 0.00-0.68) and detoxification for the first time (OR=0.61, 95%CI: 0.43-0.86) were the possible influencing factors for diphenoxylate abuse. Conclusions: The prevalence of diphenoxylate abuse in forced drug abstainer in Gansu was relatively high. Reasons of abusing, the way to obtain diphenoxylate, whether using drug together with friends, degree of euphoria, years of abuse, abuse place and times for detoxification were related factors influencing the abuse of diphenoxylate.
