Abstract
We use single photon detectors to probe the motional state of a superfluid ^{4}He resonator of mass ∼1 ng. The arrival times of Stokes and anti-Stokes photons (scattered by the resonator's acoustic mode) are used to measure the resonator's phonon coherences up to the fourth order. By postselecting on photon detection events, we also measure coherences in the resonator when ≤3 phonons have been added or subtracted. These measurements are found to be consistent with predictions that assume the acoustic mode to be in thermal equilibrium with a bath through a Markovian coupling.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The goal of this study was to use claims data linked with community-level measures to evaluate the impact of preventive services on the time to subsequent restorative, advanced restorative, and complex dental treatment among children enrolled in the Virginia Medicaid program. METHODS Four data sources were used (dental claims, eligibility files, American Community Survey, and Area Health Resource Files) for fiscal years 2011 to 2018. The outcomes of interest were time to first treatment services from birth. The treatment outcomes were basic restorative treatment, advanced restorative treatment, or complex treatment. The independent variable was a preventive service prior to a treatment service. Time-to-event curves were estimated and compared using a log-rank test. Propensity score-matched univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazards frailty models with an inverse probability censoring weighting correction estimated hazard ratios (HRs) for treatment outcomes comparing use of preventive services while controlling for patient demographic, geospatial, and county-level socioeconomic status measures. RESULTS The analysis included 430,594 children (10,204,182 claims). A log-rank test showed significant differences (P < 0.001) between the times to treatment of those who had a preventive service and those who did not have a preventive service prior to a treatment service. Both Kaplan-Meier curves and the adjusted HR (1.88; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.46-2.15) indicated that children without preventive services were more likely to have basic restorative treatment at an earlier age along with advanced restorative treatment (HR, 1.52; 95% CI, 1.28-1.80) and complex treatment (HR, 2.13; 95% CI, 1.68-2.61). CONCLUSIONS In a population of Medicaid-enrolled children, children who did not receive preventive services were significantly more likely to have treatment at an earlier age than those who did receive preventive services. KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER STATEMENT This study examines the impact of the utilization of preventive dental services since birth and the subsequent dental treatment for children enrolled in a dental Medicaid program. This study also examines the influence of preventive care on dental complexity of treatment for these children. Findings can inform federal and state policy planning of dental Medicaid programs as well as interventions to improve referral systems for the early use of preventive dental services and the establishment of a dental home.

Observation of Two New Excited Ξ_{b}^{0} States Decaying to Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+}. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 128:162001. Abstract
Two narrow resonant states are observed in the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} mass spectrum using a data sample of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected by the LHCb experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1}. The minimal quark content of the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} system indicates that these are excited Ξ_{b}^{0} baryons. The masses of the Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0} and Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0} states are m[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]=6327.28_{-0.21}^{+0.23}±0.12±0.24 and m[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]=6332.69_{-0.18}^{+0.17}±0.03±0.22 MeV, respectively, with a mass splitting of Δm=5.41_{-0.27}^{+0.26}±0.12 MeV, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to the Λ_{b}^{0} mass measurement. The measured natural widths of these states are consistent with zero, with upper limits of Γ[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]<2.20(2.56) and Γ[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]<1.60(1.92) MeV at a 90% (95%) credibility level. The significance of the two-peak hypothesis is larger than nine (five) Gaussian standard deviations compared to the no-peak (one-peak) hypothesis. The masses, widths, and resonant structure of the new states are in good agreement with the expectations for a doublet of 1D Ξ_{b}^{0} resonances.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the application value of relaxation time quantitative technique from synthetic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the diagnosis and invasion assessment of prostate cancer. Methods: A total of 119 patients with prostate diseases [122 regions of interest(ROI)] who underwent routine MRI scan and magnetic resonance image compilation (MAGiC) sequence of prostate from March 2020 to March 2021 in General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University were retrospectively collected, they were divided into prostate cancer group(58 cases, 61 ROI) and non-prostate cancer group(61 cases, 61 ROI) according to the pathological results. In the prostate cancer group, those patients with an age of 48 to 85(69.8±5.9) years, and further divided into two subgroups according to the location of occurrence: peripheral zone cancer group (43 cases, 45 ROI) and transitional zone cancer group (15 cases, 16 ROI). The non-prostate cancer group consisted of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia or complicated with chronic prostatitis, with an age of 41 to 81(68.6±7.0) years, and they were further divided into two subgroups according to the location of occurrence: non-cancerous peripheral zone group (45 cases, 45 ROI) and transitional zone benign prostatic hyperplasia group(16 cases, 16 ROI). Prostate cancer lesions were classified as low risk (Gleason score ≤6) or intermediate/high risk (Gleason score ≥7). After the post-processing of MAGiC images, T1, T2 and proton density(PD) values of prostate cancer group and non-prostate cancer group were obtained. At the same time, relevant software were used for image post-processing to generate apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) value, the data between the two groups were analyzed by the Independent sample t-test or Mann-Whitney U-test, and the diagnostic effectiveness of each quantitative parameter in diagnosing prostate cancer and discriminating low risk prostate cancer from intermediate/high risk prostate cancer was analyzed by using receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) analysis, the correlation between each quantitative parameter and Gleason score were assessed by Spearman correlation analysis. Results: The T1 value and T2 value of the peripheral zone cancer group were lower than those in non-cancerous peripheral zone group [1 201.3 (1 103.5, 1 298.2) ms vs 2 274.0 (1 620.9, 2 776.5) ms; 78.0 (74.0, 83.8) ms vs (160.6±54.9) ms] (all P<0.001), there was no statistically significant in PD value between the two groups (P>0.05). The T1 value and T2 value of the transitional zone cancer group were lower than those in transitional zone benign prostatic hyperplasia group [1 073.3 (1 003.9, 1 164.9) ms vs 1 340.8 (1 208.5, 1 502.8) ms; 76.9 (74.8, 82.8) ms vs 95.1(82.8, 103.4) ms] (all P<0.001), there was no statistically significant in PD value between the two groups (P>0.05). The area under the curve (AUC) of T2 value was similar with the ADC value in discriminating peripheral zone cancer group from non-cancerous peripheral zone group(0.963 vs 0.991, P=0.105), while in discriminating transitional zone cancer group from transitional zone benign prostatic hyperplasia group, the AUC of T2 value、T1 value and ADC value were similar(0.867, 0.930 vs 0.938, all P>0.05). ADC value, T2 value all were negatively correlated with Gleason score (r=-0.747,-0.453, all P<0.001). T2 value and ADC value demonstrated equivalent diagnostic performance in discriminating low risk from intermediate/high risk prostate cancer, and there were no statistically significant (AUC: 0.787 vs 0.943, P=0.069). Conclusions: Quantitative relaxation time T1 and T2 values derived from synthetic MRI can discriminate prostate cancer from other benign pathologies, and T2 value have the equivalent diagnostic performance compared to ADC value. Synthetic MRI has high clinical application value, and T2 value can distinguish low risk prostate cancer from intermediate/high risk prostate cancer.

Measurement of the Nuclear Modification Factor and Prompt Charged Particle Production in p-Pb and pp Collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5 TeV. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 128:142004. Abstract
The production of prompt charged particles in proton-lead collisions and in proton-proton collisions at the nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy sqrt[s_{NN}]=5 TeV is studied at LHCb as a function of pseudorapidity (η) and transverse momentum (p_{T}) with respect to the proton beam direction. The nuclear modification factor for charged particles is determined as a function of η between -4.8<η<-2.5 (backward region) and 2.0<η<4.8 (forward region), and p_{T} between 0.2<p_{T}<8.0 GeV/c. The results show a suppression of charged particle production in proton-lead collisions relative to proton-proton collisions in the forward region and an enhancement in the backward region for p_{T} larger than 1.5 GeV/c. This measurement constrains nuclear PDFs and saturation models at previously unexplored values of the parton momentum fraction down to 10^{-6}.

Abstract
Events containing a Z boson and a charm jet are studied for the first time in the forward region of proton-proton collisions. The data sample used corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1} collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. In events with a Z boson and a jet, the fraction of charm jets is determined in intervals of Z-boson rapidity in the range 2.0<y(Z)<4.5. A sizable enhancement is observed in the forwardmost y(Z) interval, which could be indicative of a valencelike intrinsic-charm component in the proton wave function.

Abstract
Background This study was aimed at establishing a nomogram for survival prediction of Colorectal squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC), understanding the molecular pathogenesis, exploring a better treatment, and predicting the potential therapeutic agents. Methods Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database was used to obtained CSCC patients and the nomogram was performed. Propensity score matching (PSM), Kaplan–Meier analysis, subgroup analysis, and interaction test were used to explore the better treatment strategy for CSCC. Bioinformatics were used to explore the molecular mechanism and potential therapeutic drugs of CSCC. Results A total of 3949 CSCC patients were studied. The nomogram was constructed and evaluated to have a good performance. We found that the radiotherapy had a better effect than surgery, and the difference between radiotherapy and combined therapy was not significant. 821 differentially expressed genes in CSCC were obtained from GSE6988 dataset. DNA damage repair, mismatch repair, and cell cycle pathways might contribute to CSCC occurrence as indicated by KEGGpathway and GSEA analysis. Transcription factors analysis revealed that TP63 and STAT1 may have an important role in occurrence and development of CSCC. 1607 potential drugs against CSCC were found using the CMAP database, and molecular docking was carried out to show the binding energy between TP63 and drugs. Conclusions A good prognosis nomogram was constructed for CSCC. We also have a better understanding of the underlying molecular mechanisms of occurrence and development of CSCC and predicted potential therapeutic drugs, providing a theoretical basis for the treatment of CSCC.

Abstract
Endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) an exogenous agent that interferes with the synthesis, secretion, transport, binding, action, or can mimic the occurrence of natural hormones that damage for the balance of homeostasis. Exposure to EDCs results in damage to human health that may persist in the long term. In recent years, accumulative evidence has demonstrated that EDCs also play a pivotal role in the onset and development of myocardial fibrosis, including heart failure, hypertension and vascular stiffening. Studies indicate that EDCs plays the negative effects of the cardiovascular system, however, EDCs-induced toxicity on heart remains unclear. This review summarized EDCs-induced myocardial fibrosis, and discuss the possible mechanisms of myocardial fibrosis induced by EDCs. This paper could provide further understandings for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of myocardial fibrosis.

Abstract
An amplitude analysis of flavor-untagged B_{s}^{0}→J/ψpp[over ¯] decays is performed using a sample of 797±31 decays reconstructed with the LHCb detector. The data, collected in proton-proton collisions between 2011 and 2018, correspond to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. Evidence for a new structure in the J/ψp and J/ψp[over ¯] systems with a mass of 4337_{-4}^{+7} _{-2}^{+2} MeV and a width of 29_{-12}^{+26} _{-14}^{+14} MeV is found, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic, with a significance in the range of 3.1 to 3.7σ, depending on the assigned J^{P} hypothesis.

Introduction
Mitral valve prolapse (MVP) affects 3% of the population and is the leading indication for mitral valve surgery.[1] Mitral annular disjunction (MAD) is a structural abnormality commonly seen in patients with MVP.[2] MAD is defined as an abnormal separation (>5mm) between the left atrial wall-mitral valve junction and the left ventricle myocardium,[2] associated with hypermobility and myxomatous degeneration of the mitral valve leaflets.[3] There is a paucity of literature regarding MAD, however evidence is growing that it may be associated with ventricular arrhythmia and sudden cardiac death.[3] We examined the prevalence, imaging characteristics and clinical associations of MAD among patients who have undergone mitral valve surgery for MVP.
Methods
Single centre cohort study of consecutive patients undergoing mitral valve surgery for MVP over a 3-year period. Patient baseline characteristics, echocardiographic parameters, surgical outcomes, frequency of arrhythmic events and 3-year cardiac and all-cause mortality were recorded. Single site data was obtained from a prospective Australia-wide cardiac surgery registry, as well as retrospective analysis of holter-monitor reports, device interrogation and review of medical records. Transthoracic echocardiogram images were re-examined, and parameters re-measured by a qualified examiner.
Results
Among 73 patients with surgical MVP, 20 patients had MAD (27.4%). The median MAD length was 8.1 (IQR 6.8-11.8) mm. The most severely affected patient had a disjunction length of 28 mm. MAD was associated with younger age at surgery (60 vs 66, P = 0.005), female sex (40.0% vs 22.6%, P = 0.138), bileaflet MVP (50% vs 10.6%, P = 0.004) and less cardiovascular comorbidities, including hypertension (25.0% vs 57.7%, P = 0.013) and hypercholesterolaemia (30.0% vs 61.5%, P = 0.016). Patients with MAD had greater mitral valve leaflet lengths, mitral annular diameters, and high-velocity systolic signal on tissue doppler of the mitral valve annulus (pickelhaube sign). Three patients in the MAD positive group had an arrhythmic event (VF or VT) at 3 years compared to one in the MAD negative group. There was no significant difference in 3-year cardiac or all-cause mortality between groups.
Conclusion
MAD is a common anatomical abnormality in patients with surgical MVP, and is easily detected on transthoracic echocardiography. It is associated with younger age at surgery, female sex, bileaflet MVP, increased leaflet length and annulus diameter. There was a signal towards increased arrhythmic events in patients with MAD despite younger age and less cardiovascular risk factors. Large longitudinal studies are needed to further assess the association of MAD with arrhythmic events to help guild appropriate investigation and risk stratification of these patients. Abstract
Childhood maltreatment (CM) confers a great risk of maladaptive development outcomes later in life, however, the neurobiological mechanism underlying this vulnerability is still unclear. The present study aimed to investigate the long-term consequences of CM on neural connectivity while controlling for psychiatric conditions, medication, and, substance abuse. A sample including adults with (n = 40) and without CM (n = 50) completed Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ), personality questionnaires, and resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging scan were recruited for the current study. The whole-brain functional connectivity (FC) was evaluated using an unbiased, data-driven, multivariate pattern analysis method. Relative to controls, adults with CM suffered a higher level of temperament and impulsivity and showed decreased FC between the insula and superior temporal gyrus (STG) and between inferior parietal lobule (IPL) and middle frontal gyrus, STG, and dorsal anterior cingulate cortex (dACC), while increased FC between IPL and cuneus and superior frontal gyrus (SFG) regions. The FCs of IPL with dACC and SFG were correlated with the anxious and cyclothymic temperament and attentional impulsivity. Moreover, these FCs partially mediated the relationship between CM and attentional impulsivity. Our results suggest that CM has a significant effect on the modulation of FC within theory of mind (ToM) network even decades later in adulthood, and inform a new framework to account for how CM results in the development of impulsivity. The novel findings reveal the neurobiological consequences of CM and provide new clues to the prevention and intervention strategy to reduce the risk of the development of psychopathology.

Abstract
Branching fraction and effective lifetime measurements of the rare decay B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and searches for the decays B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ are reported using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to a luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. The branching fraction B(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})=(3.09_{-0.43-0.11}^{+0.46+0.15})×10^{-9} and the effective lifetime τ(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})=2.07±0.29±0.03 ps are measured, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. No significant signal for B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ decays is found and upper limits B(B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})<2.6×10^{-10} and B(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ)<2.0×10^{-9} at the 95% C.L. are determined, where the latter is limited to the range m_{μμ}>4.9 GeV/c^{2}. The results are in agreement with the standard model expectations.

Abstract
Anesthesia may induce neuronal tau phosphorylation and neurotoxicity in the developing brain. Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) may play a protective role in neuronal activity and injury repair, whereas its 18-kDa fragments are reported to induce neurodegeneration and neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disease patients. We aimed to test the hypothesis that differences in 18-kDa ApoE fragment levels, but not full-length ApoE, in primary neurons contribute to differences in tau phosphorylation and neuroinflammation with or without sevoflurane administration. Neurons extracted from wild-type (WT), ApoE knockout (ApoE-KO), and ApoE ε3-and ε2-targeted replacement (ApoE ε3, ApoE ε2) mice were divided into control and sevoflurane groups. Neurons in the sevoflurane group were treated with 21% O2, 5% CO2, and 4.1% sevoflurane, whereas those in the control group were treated with 21% O2 and 5% CO2 only on day 5 of neuronal culture. ApoE mRNA, full-length ApoE, 18-kDa ApoE fragments, Tau-PS202/PT205 (AT8), Tau-PSer396/404 (PHF1), tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, and interleukin (IL)-6 and IL-1β levels were measured. The data showed that sevoflurane-induced AT8 and PHF1 increases, and TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β increases in WT or ApoE ε3 neurons (both expressing full-length and 18-kDa fragmented ApoE) could be mitigated in ApoE ε2 (only expressing full-length ApoE), but not in ApoE-KO neurons, indicating that differences in 18-kDa ApoE fragments, but not full-length ApoE, in primary mouse neurons contributed to differences in tau phosphorylation and neuroinflammation with or without 4.1% sevoflurane administration.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Arterial hypertension is among factors with the potential for increasing the risk of cognitive impairment in elderly subjects. However, studies investigating the effects of antihypertensives on cognitive function have reported mixed results. METHODS We have used the National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center (NACC) Uniform Data Set (UDS) to investigate the effect of each class of antihypertensives, both as single and combined, in reducing the rate of conversion from normal to mild cognitive impairment (MCI). RESULTS The use of antihypertensive drugs was associated with 21% (Hazard ratio: 0.79, p<01001) delay in the rate of conversion to MCI. This effect was modulated by age, gender, and genotypic APOE4 allele. Among different antihypertensive subclasses, calcium channel blockers (CCBs) (24%, HR: 0.76, P=0.004), diuretics (21%, HR: 0.79, P=0.006), and α1-adrenergic blockers (α1-ABs) (23%, HR: 0.77, P=0.034) significantly delayed the rate of MCI conversion. A significant effect was observed with the selective L-type voltage-gated CCBs, dihydropyridines, amlodipine (47%, HR=0.53, P<0.001) and nifedipine (49%, HR=0.51, P=0.012), whereas non-DHPs showed insignificant effect. Loop diuretics, potassium sparing diuretics, and thiazides all significantly reduced the rate of MCI conversion. Combination of α1-AB and diuretics led to synergistic effects; combination of vasodilators plus β-blockers (βBs), and α1-AB plus βBs led to additive effect in delaying the rate of MCI conversion, when compared to a single drug. CONCLUSION Our results could have implications for the more effective treatment of hypertensive elderly adults who are likely to be at high risk of cognitive decline and dementia. The choice of combination of antihypertensive therapy should also consider the combination which would lead to an optimum benefit on cognitive function.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aims to determine the association between single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the RELN gene and schizophrenia. METHODS 134 patients aged 16 to 58 (mean, 38.0) years who were diagnosed with acute or chronic schizophrenia at the Zhongshan Third People's Hospital between January 2018 and April 2020 were recruited, as were 64 healthy controls aged 22 to 59 (mean, 45.6) years who matched with the age and sex of the patients. MassARRAY mass spectrometry genotyping technology was used to determine the genotypes of four SNPs of RELN (rs2073559, rs2229864, rs362691, and rs736707). RESULTS There were no significant between-group or between-sex differences in terms of genotype, allele frequency, or haplotype frequency of the SNPs (all p > 0.05). In the association analysis between genotypes and quantitative traits in the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale, rs2229864 and rs736707 were associated with the scores for items P3 (hallucinatory behaviour) and G11 (attention disorder), and rs362691 was associated with G10 (disorientation). However, the associations did not remain significant after Bonferroni correction. CONCLUSION Multiple pathogenic polymorphisms of RELN might be associated with hallucinatory behaviour and attention disorder in Chinese patients with schizophrenia.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Tinea capitis is still common in developing countries, such as China. Its pathogen spectrum varies across regions and changes over time. OBJECTIVES This study aimed to clarify the current epidemiological characteristics and pathogen spectrum of tinea capitis in China. METHODS A multicentre, prospective descriptive study involving 29 tertiary hospitals in China was conducted. From August 2019 to July 2020, 611 patients with tinea capitis were enrolled. Data concerning demography, risk factors and fungal tests were collected. The pathogens were further identified by morphology or molecular sequencing when necessary in the central laboratory. RESULTS Among all enrolled patients, 74.1% of the cases were 2- to 8-year-olds. The children with tinea capitis were mainly boys (56.2%) and more likely to have an animal contact history (57.4% vs. 35.3%, P = 0.012) and zoophilic dermatophyte infection (73.5%). The adults were mainly females (83.3%) and more likely to have anthropophilic agent infection (53.5%). The most common pathogen was zoophilic Microsporum canis (354, 65.2%), followed by anthropophilic Trichophyton violaceum (74, 13.6%). In contrast to the eastern, western and northeastern regions where zoophilic M. canis predominated, anthropophilic T. violaceum predominated in central China (69.2%, P < 0.0001), where the patients had the most tinea at other sites (20.3%) and dermatophytosis contact (25.9%) with the least animal contact (38.8%). Microsporum ferrugineum was the most common anthropophilic agent in the western area, especially in Xinjiang Province. CONCLUSIONS Boys aged approximately 5 years were mainly affected. Dermatologists are advised to pay more attention to the different transmission routes and pathogen spectra in different age groups from different regions.

Abstract
Background It is unclear if buccal articaine infiltration can be used as an alternative to standard inferior alveolar nerve block (IANB) for treating mandibular molars in pediatric patients. Therefore, this study aimed to pool evidence to compare the efficacy of buccal infiltration of articaine vs IANB with lignocaine for pediatric dental procedures. Material and Methods We searched the PubMed, Embase, ScienceDirect, CENTRAL, and Google Scholar databases for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing the two techniques in pediatric patients and reporting the success of anesthesia and/or pain during treatment. PRISMA guidelines were followed. Results Seven RCTs were included. Pooled analysis of five studies indicated no statistically significant difference in the success rates of the two anesthetic techniques (OR: 1.02; 95% CI: 0.13, 7.96; I2=69%, p=0.98). Meta-analysis of data from the four studies demonstrated no statistically significant difference in pain during the procedure with buccal infiltration of articaine or IANB with lignocaine (SMD: 0.62; 95% CI: -1.37, 0.12; I2=88%, p=0.10). Conclusions Evidence suggests that buccal infiltration of articaine is a viable alternative to IANB with lignocaine in pediatric patients for treating mandibular molars. Based on the confidence intervals, there may be a tendency of higher success rates with buccal infiltration of articaine. Key words:Lignocaine, articaine, primary dentition, children, molars.

Abstract
The mucosa-associated microbiota is widely recognized as a potential trigger for Crohn's disease pathophysiology but remains largely uncharacterised beyond its taxonomic composition. Unlike stool microbiota, the functional characterisation of these communities using current DNA/RNA sequencing approaches remains constrained by the relatively small microbial density on tissue, and the overwhelming amount of human DNA recovered during sample preparation. Here, we have used a novel ex vivo approach that combines microbe culture from anaerobically preserved tissue with metagenome sequencing (MC-MGS) to reveal patient-specific and strain-level differences among these communities in post-operative Crohn's disease patients. The 16 S rRNA gene amplicon profiles showed these cultures provide a representative and holistic representation of the mucosa-associated microbiota, and MC-MGS produced both high quality metagenome-assembled genomes of recovered novel bacterial lineages. The MC-MGS approach also produced a strain-level resolution of key Enterobacteriacea and their associated virulence factors and revealed that urease activity underpins a key and diverse metabolic guild in these communities, which was confirmed by culture-based studies with axenic cultures. Collectively, these findings using MC-MGS show that the Crohn's disease mucosa-associated microbiota possesses taxonomic and functional attributes that are highly individualistic, borne at least in part by novel bacterial lineages not readily isolated or characterised from stool samples using current sequencing approaches.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the effects of different types of sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) on 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension. Method: In this meta-analysis, we searched for randomized controlled trials on the effect of SGLT2i on 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure in patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension. Three databases, namely PubMed, Web of Science and Cochrane Library, were searched. The search was organized on the concept of 3 conceptual groups: the first group contained terms used to describe SGLT2i, the second group contained terms related to blood pressure, and the third group contained terms used to describe randomized controlled trials. The search time was from the establishment of the database to December 2020. The inclusion and exclusion criteria were formulated in accordance with the requirements of the Cochrane systematic review. According to whether the heterogeneity of the study was significant or not, a random effect model or a fixed effect model were used to conduct the analysis on the impact of different types of SGLT2i on 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure and day and night blood pressure in patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension. Further subgroup analysis was performed to define potential factors, which might lead to clinical heterogeneity. Results: Seven clinical trials were finally included. The result of the meta-analysis showed that compared with placebo group, SGLT2i could reduce the 24-hour dynamic systolic blood pressure of patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension by 4.36 mmHg (1 mmHg=0.133 kPa). Reduction was 4.59, 3.74, 5.06, and 3.64 mmHg by canagliflozin, dapagliflozin, empagliflozin, and ertugliflozin respectively; SGLT2i could reduce the 24-hour dynamic diastolic blood pressure of patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension by 2.20 mmHg, and the reduction was 2.30, 1.22, 2.00, and 2.69 mmHg by canagliflozin, dapagliflozin, empagliflozin and ertugliflozin respectively. SGLT2i could reduce the daytime systolic blood pressure of patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension by 5.25 mmHg, and reduction was 5.38, 4.87, 6.00, and 4.37 mmHg by canagliflozin, dapagliflozin, empagliflozin and ertugliflozin, respectively. Simultaneously, SGLT2i could reduce the diastolic blood pressure of patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension by 2.62 mmHg, and the reduction was 2.56, 2.47, and 2.80 mmHg by canagliflozin, empagliflozin and ertugliflozin, respectively. SGLT2i could reduce the nighttime systolic blood pressure of patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension by 3.62 mmHg, and the reduction was 2.09, 2.06, 3.92, and 2.45 mmHg by canagliflozin, dapagliflozin, empagliflozin and ertugliflozin, respectively. At the same time, SGLT2i could reduce the nighttime diastolic blood pressure of patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension by 1.60 and 1.51 mmHg, the reduction was 1.53 and 2.58 mmHg by canagliflozin, empagliflozin and ertugliflozin, respectively. Conclusion: SGLT2i can reduce 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure in patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension.

Abstract
Abstract
Introduction
Mobile health (mHealth) interventions have grown in popularity, particularly for chronic disease management. Uptake of these interventions depends on patient smartphone ownership.
Purpose
To examine the smartphone ownership rate among cardiac inpatients and identify the associated demographic factors.
Methods
Between February 2019 and March 2020, 565 patients were screened for potential enrolment in the TeleClinical Care (TCC) pilot study at two hospitals in Australia. All patients had an admission diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome or heart failure. Mobile phone ownership was documented at the time of screening. Retrospectively, each patient's electronic medical record was examined for: age, sex, primary diagnosis, suburb of residence, private health insurance subscription, smoking status and occupation. Continuous variables were analysed using a multinomial logistic regression model. Categorical variables were analysed using a generalised linear model.
Results
Mobile phone ownership was documented for 523 patients (92.6%). 60.6% of all patients owned smartphones, and 14.9% owned basic mobile phones. 24.5% of patients did not own any mobile phone. The average age of participants was 70.8 years. Smartphone ownership rates were high among patients in the 18–49 (96%), 50–59 (89%) and 60–69 (85%) year groups. The differences between these groups were not statistically significant. In the age group 70–79 years, however, smartphone ownership fell to 56.5% (p<0.001, figure 1). The relative risk (RR) of not owning a smartphone increased by 12% for each additional year of age. Overall, smartphone ownership was less more common in women than men [79/179 (44.1%) vs. 238/344 (69.2%), RR 0.78, 95% CI 0.67–0.91, P=0.003, age-adjusted) driven by a difference in patients aged 70 or above [36/131 (27.5%) vs. 82/168 (48.9%), RR 0.66, 95% 0.49–0.90, p<0.001]. After adjustment for age and sex, patients with a primary diagnosis of ACS were more likely to own a smartphone compared to those with HF [227/316 (71.8%) vs. 90/207 (43.5%), RR 1.22, 95% CI 1.04–1.43, P=0.015]. Patients with private health insurance were more likely to own a smartphone than those who were uninsured [68.9% (162/235) v 54.0% (154/285), RR 1.28, 95% CI 1.13–1.43, P<0.001, figure 2). Smartphone ownership was significantly higher in those who were currently working, compared to those who were retired (117/119, 98.3% vs. 56/87, 64.3%, RR 0.76, 95% CI 0.64 – 0.89, P=0.001), even after adjustment for age. Patients living in the region with lowest average household income had the lowest rate of smartphone ownership (52.4%). There was no significant difference in smartphone ownership based on type of occupation.
Conclusion
Smartphone ownership was common in this inpatient population. Patients who are older, female and of lower socioeconomic background are less likely to own smartphones, and future mHealth programs should be cognizant of this.

Abstract
Abstract
Background
Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and heart failure (HF) are frequent causes of hospitalisation and readmissions. A novel smartphone app-based model of care (TeleClinical Care – TCC) was developed to support patients after ACS or HF admission.
Purpose
This randomised control trial aimed to characterise both the intervention and clinical outcomes. The primary endpoint was the incidence of 30-day readmissions. Secondary endpoints included six-month cardiac and all-cause readmissions, mortality, major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE), cardiac rehabilitation (CR) completion, medication adherence, serum low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C), quality of life, blood pressure, body mass index, waist circumference and six-minute walk distance. Additionally, cost-effectiveness and user satisfaction were evaluated.
Methods
Patients were randomised 1:1 to either TCC plus usual care or usual care alone and were followed-up at six months. Intervention arm participants received the TCC app and were asked to use Bluetooth-enabled devices for measuring weight, heart rate, blood pressure and physical activity daily. Readings were automatically transmitted to the patient's smartphone and a secure web-server (KIOLA). Customisable thresholds for each parameter were defined at discharge. Abnormal readings were flagged by email to a monitoring team, who discussed management with the patient's usual healthcare providers. The app also provided educational push notifications.
Results
164 patients from two hospitals in Sydney, Australia were enrolled between February 2019 and March 2020 (TCC n=81, control n=83). Recruitment ceased during the COVID-19 pandemic. The mean age was 61.5 years. 79% of patients were male. The per-patient mean percentage of days with data transmission was 64.2±27.5%. 565 alerts were received, 16% of which resulted in additional investigations, healthcare consultation or a change in management. There was no difference in 30-day readmission rate (11 readmissions in each arm). There was a significant difference in six-month readmissions, favouring the intervention (21 vs. 41 readmissions, HR=0.40, 95% CI 0.16–0.95, P=0.03), driven by a reduction in cardiac readmissions (11 vs. 25, HR=0.51, 95% CI 0.27–0.94, P=0.03). Use of TCC was associated with improved CR completion (39% vs. 18%, P=0.025) and medication adherence (75% vs. 50%, P=0.002). There was no significant difference in mortality, MACE, LDL-C, quality of life or any of the physical parameters. The average user rating was 4.56 out of 5. The study cost EUR 4015 per readmission saved. Upon modelling, it was calculated that if the number of enrolled patients exceeds 243, total expenditure will be overcome by cost savings from reducing readmissions.
Conclusion
The TCC model of care was feasible and safe. In this study, clinical benefits were demonstrated including a reduction in six-month readmissions, improved CR completion and improved medication adherence.

Branching Fraction Measurements of the Rare B_{s}^{0}→ϕμ^{+}μ^{-} and B_{s}^{0}→f_{2}^{'}(1525)μ^{+}μ^{-} Decays. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2021; 127:151801. Abstract
The branching fraction of the rare B_{s}^{0}→ϕμ^{+}μ^{-} decay is measured using data collected by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 1, 2, and 6 fb^{-1}, respectively. The branching fraction is reported in intervals of q^{2}, the square of the dimuon invariant mass. In the q^{2} region between 1.1 and 6.0 GeV^{2}/c^{4}, the measurement is found to lie 3.6 standard deviations below a standard model prediction based on a combination of light cone sum rule and lattice QCD calculations. In addition, the first observation of the rare B_{s}^{0}→f_{2}^{'}(1525)μ^{+}μ^{-} decay is reported with a statistical significance of 9 standard deviations and its branching fraction is determined.
