Abstract
Objective: To compare the efficacy of induction chemotherapy with or without autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (auto-HSCT) for newly diagnosed young diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) patients. Methods: The retrospective study was performed in 90 cases of young patients (≤60 years) with newly diagnosed DLBCL and an age-adjusted International Prognostic Index (aa-IPI) score of 2 or 3. All of them were treated with R-CHOP (32 cases, rituximab combined with CHOP), dose-intensive regimens (DA-EPOCH, Hyper CVAD/MA or ESHAP) combined with or without rituximab (25 cases), and consolidated with up-front auto-HSCT (33 cases), respectively. The efficacy and the potential predictors were evaluated. Results: ①The median age of 90 patients was 43 (18-60) years old. The median follow-up time was 42 (3-110) months. ②The 5-year progression-free survival (PFS) for R-CHOP group, dose-intensive chemotherapy group and auto-HSCT group were (33.5±10.7) %, (55.3±10.1) % and (65.8±13.6) % (P=0.012), the 5-year overall survival (OS) were (49.7±9.0) %, (61.6±10.2) % and (78.6±7.8) % (P=0.035), respectively. There was no significant difference in 5-years PFS and OS between the R-CHOP group and dose-intensive chemotherapy group (P=0.519, P=0.437) compared with that of the dose-intensive chemotherapy group, auto-HSCT group has higher 5-year PFS (P=0.042). ③ When stratified with IPI score, the high-risk group treated with auto-HSCT (26 cases) showed similar 5-years PFS and 5-years OS to those in the low-risk group with chemotherapy alone (12 cases were in R-CHOP group and 8 cases were in dose-intensive chemotherapy group) [5-years PFS were (62.3 ±14.3)%, (58.3 ±18.6)% and (51.4±18.7)%, respectively, P=0.686; 5-years OS were (69.2±13.9)%, (62.5±15.5)% and (58.3±18.6)%, respectively, P=0.592]. ④However, the high-risk group treated with auto-HSCT (26 cases) showed superior 5-years PFS (P=0.002) and 5-years OS (P=0.019) compared to the high-risk group with chemotherapy alone (20 cases were in R-CHOP group and 17 cases were in dose-intensive chemotherapy group) [5-years PFS were (62.3±14.3)%, (41.1±13.5)% and (21.9±11.6)%, respectively; 5-years OS were (69.2±13.9)%, (51.5%±14.0)% and (35.4±13.6)%, respectively]. ⑤In the univariate analysis, as a whole, patients diagnosed with GCB subtype had higher 3-years PFS (P=0.022) and 3-years OS (P=0.037) compared to non-GCB subtype patients; in subgroup analysis, patients diagnosed with GCB subtype had higher 3-years PFS and 3-years OS compared to non-GCB subtype both in R-CHOP group (P=0.030, P=0.041) and dose-intensive chemotherapy group (P=0.044, P=0.047), but not in auto-HSCT group (P=0.199, P=0.093). ⑥In the multivariate analysis, different molecular classification (GCB/non-GCB) was an independent predictor for PFS and OS both in R-CHOP group [HR=0.274 (95% CI 0.094-0.800), P=0.018; HR=0.408 (95% CI 0.164-1.015), P=0.045] and dose-intensive chemotherapy group [HR=0.423 (95% CI 0.043-1.152), P=0.048; HR=5.758 (95% CI 0.882-6.592), P=0.035]. However, there was no significant difference in PFS and OS for auto-HSCT group between GCB/non-GCB patients. Conclusion: Induction chemotherapy followed by up-front auto-HSCT has significant effect on efficacy for young and untreated patients with high risk DLBCL. Combined with induction chemotherapy followed by up-front auto-HSCT could improve the prognosis of non-GCB patients.

Abstract
High-energy neutrino emission has been predicted for several short-lived astrophysical transients including gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), core-collapse supernovae with choked jets, and neutron star mergers. IceCube's optical and x-ray follow-up program searches for such transient sources by looking for two or more muon neutrino candidates in directional coincidence and arriving within 100 s. The measured rate of neutrino alerts is consistent with the expected rate of chance coincidences of atmospheric background events and no likely electromagnetic counterparts have been identified in Swift follow-up observations. Here, we calculate generic bounds on the neutrino flux of short-lived transient sources. Assuming an E^{-2.5} neutrino spectrum, we find that the neutrino flux of rare sources, like long gamma-ray bursts, is constrained to <5% of the detected astrophysical flux and the energy released in neutrinos (100 GeV to 10 PeV) by a median bright GRB-like source is <10^{52.5} erg. For a harder E^{-2.13} neutrino spectrum up to 30% of the flux could be produced by GRBs and the allowed median source energy is <10^{52} erg. A hypothetical population of transient sources has to be more common than 10^{-5} Mpc^{-3} yr^{-1} (5×10^{-8} Mpc^{-3} yr^{-1} for the E^{-2.13} spectrum) to account for the complete astrophysical neutrino flux.

Abstract
Mild disturbances are prevalent in the environment, which may not be easily notable but could have considerable ecological consequences over prolonged periods. To evaluate this, a field study was designed to examine the effects of very light-intensity lamb grazing on grassland soil microbiomes with different soil backgrounds. No significant change (P > 0.05) was observed in any vegetation and soil variables. Nonetheless, hundreds of microbial functional gene families, but not bacterial taxonomy, were significantly (P < 0.05) shifted. The relative abundances of both taxonomic markers and functional genes related to nitrifying bacteria were also changed. The observation highlighted herein, showing a high level of sensitivity with respect to functional traits (functionally categorized taxa or genes) in differentiating mild environmental disturbance, suggests that the key level at which to address microbial responses may not be "species" (by means of rRNA taxonomy), but rather at the functional gene level.

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the etiology of repeatedly attacks of intractable vertigo and some types of sensorineural deafness whose clinical manifestation were not in conformity with the known spectrum diseases,and explore the screening method to prevent missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis, then provide references for clinical diagnosis and treatment for rare etiology. Method:The authors retrospectively analyzed the clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis from 4 cases of vertigo sufferers and 2 cases of hearing impairment sufferers whose serological tests were positive for syphilis. All these 6 cases were treated with large doses of penicillin aqueous solutions (24 million U/d), multi-times intravenous infusion, the course of the treatment was 14 d. Result:The clinical manifestations of these 6 patients were lack of characteristic, as well as the results of hearing and vestibular function, imaging diagnosis. Positive syphilis detection of serology and cerebrospinal fluid tests were the main diagnostic basis. After anti-syphilis treatment, 5 cases got satisfied clinical symptoms improvement, 1 case suffered from low-tone sensorineural hearing loss, whose hearing fluctuated recurrently. Conclusion:Syphilis infection may damage the Ⅷ cranial nerve and then lead to vertigo and hearing loss, through chronic syphilitic osteitis of temporal bone, atrophy of organ of corti, osteolytic lesion surrounding the endolymphatic duct, and neurosyphilis. For patients presented with intractable vertigo, and those whose clinical manifestations are not in conformity with the known diseases of unilateral ear or bilateral ears rapidly progressive deafness, syphilis serology screening and validation tests are recommended in case of missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis.

Abstract
With the observation of high-energy astrophysical neutrinos by the IceCube Neutrino Observatory, interest has risen in models of PeV-mass decaying dark matter particles to explain the observed flux. We present two dedicated experimental analyses to test this hypothesis. One analysis uses 6 years of IceCube data focusing on muon neutrino 'track' events from the Northern Hemisphere, while the second analysis uses 2 years of 'cascade' events from the full sky. Known background components and the hypothetical flux from unstable dark matter are fitted to the experimental data. Since no significant excess is observed in either analysis, lower limits on the lifetime of dark matter particles are derived: we obtain the strongest constraint to date, excluding lifetimes shorter than10 28 s at 90% CL for dark matter masses above 10 TeV .

Abstract
Dietary threonine imbalance is known to impair reproductive performances of gestating sows, but the underlying mechanisms are largely unknown. In this study, effects of deficiency and surplus dietary threonine during gestation on reproductive performance, serum metabolites and hormones concentration, and colostral nutrient and immunoglobulin contents of primiparous sows were investigated. Ninety primiparous pregnant gilts were assigned to one of the three dietary treatments with different standardized ileal digestible threonine/lysine ratios at 0.59, 0.72 and 0.85, which represented deficient (DT), adequate (AT) and surplus (ST) dietary threonine concentration respectively. Maternal body weight gain from day 80-110 of gestation was highest (p < .05) for gilts fed AT than for gilts fed DT or ST. On days 30 and 110, serum threonine concentration increases in a dose-dependent manner with the increasing of dietary threonine concentration in (p < .01), serum urea nitrogen concentration was lower (p < .01) in gilts fed AT than DT or ST, and serum insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) was lowest (p < .05) for gilts fed DT. On day 110, gilts fed AT had lower serum progesterone concentration but higher concentrations of serum prolactin (p < .05) compared to DT and ST. Concentration of colostral immunoglobulin A and G from gilts fed DT was lower (p < .05) compared with gilts fed AT or ST. In conclusion, gilts with the adequate threonine intake were more able to conserve dietary amino acids to support foetal and maternal tissue gain. Deficient or ST threonine intake may induce a delay in changes in progesterone and prolactin concentrations during the prepartum period impeding the transition from pregnancy to lactation.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the mechanism of ibrutinib on drug resistance diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) cells. Methods: DLBCL cell line was cultured with mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) , and DLBCL cells which migrated and adhered to MSC under microscope was counted. The secretion of CXCL12 by MSC were measured by ELISA. The expression of CXCR4 on DLBCL cells were measured by flow cytometry, HBL-1 cells were transfected with a CXCR4-lentivector. An Annexin Ⅴ-binding assay was used to detect the induction of apoptosis. Clonogenic growth of DLBCL cells was evaluated on MethoCult media. Ibrutinib was injected into NOD/SCID mice, tumor growth was assessed via caliper measurements every 3 days. Results: MSC promoted migration and adhesion of DLBCL cells to MSC. Ibrutinib inhibited migration and adhesion of DLBCL cells to MSC in a dose-dependent manner (P<0.05) . CXCL12 secreted by MSC and CXCR4 expressed on DLBCL cells could induce each other, which upgraded the levels of secretion and expression. Ibrutinib could inhibit the secretion of CXCL12 (SUDHL10: 660 pg/ml vs 1 400 pg/ml, P=0.004; HBL-1: 720 pg/ml vs 1 490 pg/ml, P=0.018; DLBCL:850 pg/ml vs 1 450 pg/ml, P=0.004) and expression of CXCR4 (P<0.05) . When co-cultured with MSC, the ratio of HBL-1 cells apoptosis in the group of control, mitoxantrone, ibrutinib, mitoxantrone+ibrutinib were respectively 15.1%, 17.5%, 23.5%, 58.7%. After transfected with a CXCR4-lentivector and overexpressed CXCR4, the ratios of HBL-1 cells apoptosis were 14.2%, 16.1%, 22.5%, 38.3% respectively. The ratio of DLBCL cells apoptosis induced by mitoxantrone was lower when co-cultured with MSC (P<0.05) . But with the addition of ibrutinib, the ratio of apoptosis was increaed and it was similar to cultivation without MSC, which suggested ibrutinib could inhibit drug-resistance induced by MSC. But after transfected with a CXCR4-lentivector, the overexpression of CXCR4 was detected and the ratio of apoptosis was significantly lower when co-cultured with MSC which demonstrated that ibrutinib inhibited drug-resistance by inhibiting the expression of CXCR4. MSC enhanced lymphoma clonogenicity in vitro and lymphoma cell growth in vivo. The number of colonies of control, MSC, Ibrutinib, MSC+Ibrutinib were 113±5, 205±4, 62±9, 123±3 (2.5×10(3)/well, x±s) , respectively. The tumor volume of NOD/SCID mice were respectively 6 500, 17 000, 4 000, 10 000 mm(3). Ibrutinib inhibited lymphoma clonogenicity in vitro and lymphoma cell growth in vitro. Conclusion: Ibrutinib targeted the CXCL12/CXCR4 axis, inhibited the expression of CXCR4 and inhibited MSC-mediated drug resistance. Ibrutinib also inhibited lymphoma clonogenicity in vitro and lymphoma cell growth in vivo. These results provided a scientific rationality for relapsed/refractory DLBCL treatment with ibrutinib.

Abstract
Microbial functional potential in high arsenic (As) groundwater ecosystems remains largely unknown. In this study, the microbial community functional composition of nineteen groundwater samples was investigated using a functional gene array (GeoChip 5.0). Samples were divided into low and high As groups based on the clustering analysis of geochemical parameters and microbial functional structures. The results showed that As related genes (arsC, arrA), sulfate related genes (dsrA and dsrB), nitrogen cycling related genes (ureC, amoA, and hzo) and methanogen genes (mcrA, hdrB) in groundwater samples were correlated with As, SO42-, NH4+ or CH4 concentrations, respectively. Canonical correspondence analysis (CCA) results indicated that some geochemical parameters including As, total organic content, SO42-, NH4+, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) and pH were important factors shaping the functional microbial community structures. Alkaline and reducing conditions with relatively low SO42-, ORP, and high NH4+, as well as SO42- and Fe reduction and ammonification involved in microbially-mediated geochemical processes could be associated with As enrichment in groundwater. This study provides an overall picture of functional microbial communities in high As groundwater aquifers, and also provides insights into the critical role of microorganisms in As biogeochemical cycling.

Abstract
Background: The caregivers of left-behind children (CLBC) in China’s poor, rural areas are mostly elderly and women. Their health status and access to health services have not been previously characterized. This study aims to explore the status of CLBC in terms of their health service utilization and to provide a scientific basis for guiding effective implementation of health policy in rural Hunan. Methods: Random cluster sampling was used to survey CLBC in two rural counties. Face-to-face interviews and questionnaires were used to collect data, including socioeconomic status and health service utilization. The two-week prevalence rate was used to reflect health service needs, while the two-week visiting rate, annual hospitalization rate and participation in basic public health services were used to evaluate health service utilization. Results: Of the 518 respondents in the study, 95.9% were farmers and 88.4% were over 40 years old. The two-week prevalence rate was 36.1%. Furthermore, 40.1% of ill caregivers’ activities were partly restricted by illness and 3.7% needed to be on bed rest. The two-week visiting rate was 21.0%. The main reasons for not seeing a doctor were “self-medication” (39.1%) or “financial difficulties” (32.6%). The annual hospitalization rate of the CLBC was 22.6% and the non-hospitalization rate of those who needed hospitalization was 41.5%. “Lack of time” (22.3%) and “financial difficulties” (50.5%) were the major factors affecting the utilization of hospitalization services. In terms of participation in basic public health services, only 35.1% CLBC clearly knew that township hospitals have established health records for them. Only 50.6% of caregivers received free health examinations in village clinics or township hospitals and 81.3% of the caregivers did not participate in health education or lectures organized by local health institutions in 2014. Conclusions: The utilization rate of health services was extremely low, which may affect the quality of care for left-behind children. Better public health education through multi-sector cooperation is urgently needed to improve health cognition among CLBC in rural China.

Abstract
This article explores the functional diversity and redundancy in a bacterial metacommunity constituted of three habitats (sediment, water column and fish gut) in a coastal lagoon under anthropogenic pressure. Comprehensive functional gene arrays covering a wide range of ecological processes and stress resistance genes to estimate the functional potential of bacterial communities were used. Then, diversity partitioning was used to characterize functional diversity and redundancy within (α), between (β) and across (γ) habitats. It was showed that all local communities exhibit a highly diversified potential for the realization of key ecological processes and resistance to various environmental conditions, supporting the growing evidence that macro-organisms microbiomes harbour a high functional potential and are integral components of functional gene dynamics in aquatic bacterial metacommunities. Several levels of functional redundancy at different scales of the bacterial metacommunity were observed (within local communities, within habitats and at the metacommunity level). The results suggested a high potential for the realization of spatial ecological insurance within this ecosystem, that is, the functional compensation among microorganisms for the realization and maintenance of key ecological processes, within and across habitats. Finally, the role of macro-organisms as dispersal vectors of microbes and their potential influence on marine metacommunity dynamics were discussed.

Abstract
Aeolian soil erosion and deposition have worldwide impacts on agriculture, air quality and public health. However, ecosystem responses to soil erosion and deposition remain largely unclear in regard to microorganisms, which are the crucial drivers of biogeochemical cycles. Using integrated metagenomics technologies, we analysed microbial communities subjected to simulated soil erosion and deposition in a semiarid grassland of Inner Mongolia, China. As expected, soil total organic carbon and plant coverage were decreased by soil erosion, and soil dissolved organic carbon (DOC) was increased by soil deposition, demonstrating that field simulation was reliable. Soil microbial communities were altered (p < .039) by both soil erosion and deposition, with dramatic increase in Cyanobacteria related to increased stability in soil aggregates. amyA genes encoding α-amylases were specifically increased (p = .01) by soil deposition and positively correlated (p = .02) to DOC, which likely explained changes in DOC. Surprisingly, most of microbial functional genes associated with carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium cycling were decreased or unaltered by both erosion and deposition, probably arising from acceleration of organic matter mineralization. These divergent responses support the necessity to include microbial components in evaluating ecological consequences. Furthermore, Mantel tests showed strong, significant correlations between soil nutrients and functional structure but not taxonomic structure, demonstrating close relevance of microbial function traits to nutrient cycling.

Abstract
Brassinosteroids (BRs) are essential phytohormones regulating various developmental and physiological processes during normal growth and development. cog1-3D (cogwheel1-3D) was identified as an activation-tagged genetic modifier of bri1-5, an intermediate BR receptor mutant in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana). COG1 encodes a Dof-type transcription factor found previously to act as a negative regulator of the phytochrome signaling pathway. cog1-3D single mutants show an elongated hypocotyl phenotype under light conditions. A loss-of-function mutant or inducible expression of a dominant negative form of COG1 in the wild type results in an opposite phenotype. A BR profile assay indicated that BR levels are elevated in cog1-3D seedlings. Quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction analyses showed that several key BR biosynthetic genes are significantly up-regulated in cog1-3D compared with those of the wild type. Two basic helix-loop-helix transcription factors, PIF4 and PIF5, were found to be transcriptionally up-regulated in cog1-3D Genetic analysis indicated that PIF4 and PIF5 were required for COG1 to promote BR biosynthesis and hypocotyl elongation. Chromatin immunoprecipitation and electrophoretic mobility shift assays indicated that COG1 binds to the promoter regions of PIF4 and PIF5, and PIF4 and PIF5 bind to the promoter regions of key BR biosynthetic genes, such as DWF4 and BR6ox2, to directly promote their expression. These results demonstrated that COG1 regulates BR biosynthesis via up-regulating the transcription of PIF4 and PIF5.

Abstract
T2K reports its first results in the search for CP violation in neutrino oscillations using appearance and disappearance channels for neutrino- and antineutrino-mode beams. The data include all runs from January 2010 to May 2016 and comprise 7.482×10^{20} protons on target in neutrino mode, which yielded in the far detector 32 e-like and 135 μ-like events, and 7.471×10^{20} protons on target in antineutrino mode, which yielded 4 e-like and 66 μ-like events. Reactor measurements of sin^{2}2θ_{13} have been used as an additional constraint. The one-dimensional confidence interval at 90% for the phase δ_{CP} spans the range (-3.13, -0.39) for normal mass ordering. The CP conservation hypothesis (δ_{CP}=0, π) is excluded at 90% C.L.

Abstract
Objectives After an injury, the biological reattachment of tendon to bone is a challenge because healing takes place between a soft (tendon) and a hard (bone) tissue. Even after healing, the transition zone in the enthesis is not completely regenerated, making it susceptible to re-injury. In this study, we aimed to regenerate Achilles tendon entheses (ATEs) in wounded rats using a combination of kartogenin (KGN) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Methods Wounds created in rat ATEs were given three different treatments: kartogenin platelet-rich plasma (KGN-PRP); PRP; or saline (control), followed by histological and immunochemical analyses, and mechanical testing of the rat ATEs after three months of healing. Results Histological analysis showed well organised arrangement of collagen fibres and proteoglycan formation in the wounded ATEs in the KGN-PRP group. Furthermore, immunohistochemical analysis revealed fibrocartilage formation in the KGN-PRP-treated ATEs, evidenced by the presence of both collagen I and II in the healed ATE. Larger positively stained collagen III areas were found in both PRP and saline groups than those in the KGN-PRP group. Chondrocyte-related genes, SOX9 and collagen II, and tenocyte-related genes, collagen I and scleraxis (SCX), were also upregulated by KGN-PRP. Moreover, mechanical testing results showed higher ultimate tensile strength in the KGN-PRP group than in the saline control group. In contrast, PRP treatment appeared to have healed the injured ATE but induced no apparent formation of fibrocartilage. The saline-treated group showed poor healing without fibrocartilage tissue formation in the ATEs. Conclusions Our results show that injection of KGN-PRP induces fibrocartilage formation in the wounded rat ATEs. Abstract
Global warming has shifted climate zones poleward or upward. However, understanding the responses and mechanism of microbial community structure and functions relevant to natural climate zone succession is challenged by the high complexity of microbial communities. Here, we examined soil microbial community in three broadleaved forests located in the Wulu Mountain (WLM, temperate climate), Funiu Mountain (FNM, at the border of temperate and subtropical climate zones), or Shennongjia Mountain (SNJ, subtropical climate). Although plant species richness decreased with latitudes, the microbial taxonomic α-diversity increased with latitudes, concomitant with increases in soil total and available nitrogen and phosphorus contents. Phylogenetic NRI (Net Relatedness Index) values increased from -0.718 in temperate zone (WLM) to 1.042 in subtropical zone (SNJ), showing a shift from over dispersion to clustering likely caused by environmental filtering such as low pH and nutrients. Similarly, taxonomy-based association networks of subtropical forest samples were larger and tighter, suggesting clustering. In contrast, functional α-diversity was similar among three forests, but functional gene networks of the FNM forest significantly (P < 0.050) differed from the others. A significant correlation (R = 0.616, P < 0.001) between taxonomic and functional β-diversity was observed only in the FNM forest, suggesting low functional redundancy at the border of climate zones. Using a strategy of space-for-time substitution, we predict that poleward climate range shift will lead to decreased microbial taxonomic α-diversities in broadleaved forest.

Abstract
The Lanzhou reach of the Yellow River, located at the upstream of Lanzhou, has been contaminated by heavy metals and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons over a long-time. We hypothesized that indigenous microbial communities would remediate those contaminants and some unique populations could play an important role in this process. In this study, we investigated the sediment microbial community structure and function from the Lanzhou reach. Sediment samples were collected from two nearby sites (site A and site B) in the Lanzhou reach along the Yellow River. Sediment geochemical property data showed that site A sediment samples contained significantly (p < 0.05) higher heavy metals than site B, such as chromium (Cr), manganese (Mn), and copper (Cu). Both site A and B samples were incubated with or without hexavalent chromium (Cr (VI)) for 30 days in the laboratory, and Cr (VI) reduction was only observed in site A sediment samples. After incubation, MiSeq sequencing of 16S rRNA gene amplicons revealed that the phylogenetic composition and structure of microbial communities changed in both samples, and especially Proteobacteria, as the most abundant phylum increased from 45.1 % to 68.2 % in site A, and 50.1 % to 71.3 % in site B, respectively. Some unique OTUs and populations affiliated with Geobacter, Clostridium, Desulfosporosinus and Desulfosporosinus might be involved in Cr (VI) reduction in site A. Furthermore, GeoChip 4.0 (a comprehensive functional gene array) data showed that genes involved in carbon and nitrogen cycling and metal resistance significantly (p < 0.05) increased in site A sediment samples. All the results indicated that indigenous sediment microbial communities might be able to remediate contaminants like Cr (VI), and this information provides possible strategies for future bioremediation of the Lanzhou reach.

Abstract
We report the first measurement of the flux-averaged cross section for charged current coherent π^{+} production on carbon for neutrino energies less than 1.5 GeV, and with a restriction on the final state phase space volume in the T2K near detector, ND280. Comparisons are made with predictions from the Rein-Sehgal coherent production model and the model by Alvarez-Ruso et al., the latter representing the first implementation of an instance of the new class of microscopic coherent models in a neutrino interaction Monte Carlo event generator. We observe a clear event excess above background, disagreeing with the null results reported by K2K and SciBooNE in a similar neutrino energy region. The measured flux-averaged cross sections are below those predicted by both the Rein-Sehgal and Alvarez-Ruso et al.

Abstract
Improvement of the stability of functional microbial communities in wastewater treatment system is critical to accelerate pollutants detoxification in cold regions. Although biocathode communities could accelerate environmental pollutants degradation, how to acclimate the cold stress and to improve the catalytic stability of functional microbial communities are remain poorly understood. Here we investigated the structural and functional responses of antibiotic chloramphenicol (CAP) reducing biocathode communities to constant low temperature 10 °C (10-biocathode) and temperature elevation from 10 °C to 25 °C (S25-biocathode). Our results indicated that the low temperature acclimation with electrical stimulation obviously enhanced the CAP nitro group reduction efficiency when comparing the aromatic amine product AMCl2 formation efficiency with the 10-biocathode and S25-biocathode under the opened and closed circuit conditions. The 10-biocathode generated comparative AMCl maximum as the S25-biocathode but showed significant lower dehalogenation rate of AMCl2 to AMCl. The continuous low temperature and temperature elevation both enriched core functional community in the 10-biocathode and S25-biocathode, respectively. The 10-biocathode functioning stability maintained mainly through selectively enriching cold-adapted functional species, coexisting metabolically similar nitroaromatics reducers and maintaining the relative abundance of key electrons transfer genes. Abstract
This study was designed to investigate and compare the HPV prevalence, genotypes distribution and associated risk factors in rural and urban women living in Xishuang Banna district, in the province of Yunnan. A total of 177 and 190 women from rural and urban areas were engaged, respectively. HPV DNA was amplified using the L1 consensus primers system (MY09/11 and GP5/6) and HPV GenoArray test was conducted for genotyping. Proportions were compared by chi-square test, and logistic regression was used to evaluate risk factors. A total of 54 women were positive for HPV DNA. Among rural women, 23 women were positive for HPV infection, of which 21 showed a single infection and 2 had a multiple infection. HPV-16 (10/23) was the most prevalent genotype followed by HPV-52 (5/23), and HPV-58 (5/23). Urban women had a higher infection rate for overall HPV (31/54) and for multiple genotype infection (8/31). HPV-52 (9/31) was the most prevalent genotype followed by HPV-39 (7/31) and HPV-68 (5/31). The age-specific HPV prevalence was also different between rural and urban women. In urban area, women with age <35 years had the highest HPV prevalence, which declined thereafter as age advanced. However, in rural women the highest HPV prevalence was observed in an older age group (>56 years). Ethnicity, smoking and parity were significantly associated with HPV infection among urban women. Our study demonstrates that HPV prevalence and genotype distribution varies among women from rural and urban areas in the south of Yunnan.

Abstract
T2K reports its first measurements of the parameters governing the disappearance of ν[over ¯]_{μ} in an off-axis beam due to flavor change induced by neutrino oscillations. The quasimonochromatic ν[over ¯]_{μ} beam, produced with a peak energy of 0.6 GeV at J-PARC, is observed at the far detector Super-Kamiokande, 295 km away, where the ν[over ¯]_{μ} survival probability is expected to be minimal. Using a data set corresponding to 4.01×10^{20} protons on target, 34 fully contained μ-like events were observed. The best-fit oscillation parameters are sin^{2}(θ[over ¯]_{23})=0.45 and |Δm[over ¯]_{32}^{2}|=2.51×10^{-3} eV^{2} with 68% confidence intervals of 0.38-0.64 and 2.26-2.80×10^{-3} eV^{2}, respectively. These results are in agreement with existing antineutrino parameter measurements and also with the ν_{μ} disappearance parameters measured by T2K.
