Abstract
The measurement of the energy spectrum of cosmic ray helium nuclei from 70 GeV to 80 TeV using 4.5 years of data recorded by the Dark Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) is reported in this work. A hardening of the spectrum is observed at an energy of about 1.3 TeV, similar to previous observations. In addition, a spectral softening at about 34 TeV is revealed for the first time with large statistics and well controlled systematic uncertainties, with an overall significance of 4.3σ. The DAMPE spectral measurements of both cosmic protons and helium nuclei suggest a particle charge dependent softening energy, although with current uncertainties a dependence on the number of nucleons cannot be ruled out.

Abstract
We report on the development of a high-resolution and highly efficient beamline for soft X-ray resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS) located at the Taiwan Photon Source. This beamline adopts an optical design that uses an active grating monochromator (AGM) and an active grating spectrometer (AGS) to implement the energy compensation principle of grating dispersion. Active gratings are utilized to diminish defocus, coma and higher-order aberrations, as well as to decrease the slope errors caused by thermal deformation and optical polishing. The AGS is mounted on a rotatable granite platform to enable momentum-resolved RIXS measurements with scattering angles over a wide range. Several high-precision instruments developed in-house for this beamline are described briefly. The best energy resolution obtained from this AGM-AGS beamline was 12.4 meV at 530 eV, achieving a resolving power of 4.2 × 104, while the bandwidth of the incident soft X-rays was kept at 0.5 eV. To demonstrate the scientific impact of high-resolution RIXS, we present an example of momentum-resolved RIXS measurements on a high-temperature superconducting cuprate, i.e. La2-xSrxCuO4. The measurements reveal the A1g buckling phonons in superconducting cuprates, opening a new opportunity to investigate the coupling between these phonons and charge-density waves.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a primary subtype of lung cancers which has a high morbidity and poor prognosis. Emerging evidence has demonstrated that aberrantly expressed microRNAs (miRNAs) were implicated in the regulatory functions of multiple processes during tumorigenesis. In the current study, we explored the functional roles and underlying mechanisms of miR-448 in NSCLC. PATIENTS AND METHODS Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction assays were conducted to measure miR-448 expressions in 51 pairs of NSCLC tissues and corresponding normal tissues. Moreover, the relationship between miR-448 expressions and clinicopathological characteristics of NSCLC patients was also determined. We then performed transwell assays to explore the functions of miR-448 in NSCLC cell invasion and migration. As we had identified EPHA7 as a functional target of miR-448 in NSCLC cells, the clinical significance of EPHA7 in NSCLC patients was further investigated. Finally, we detected the influence of miR-448 on tumor growth rate and tumor size of NSCLC using tumor xenografts. RESULTS Underexpressed miR-448 was identified in NSCLC, and low miR-448 expression was confirmed to be associated with the poor prognosis and adverse clinicopathologic features of NSCLC patients. Moreover, functional assays demonstrated that miR-448 overexpression suppressed NSCLC cell proliferation, invasion and migration. EPHA7 was identified as a direct target of miR-448. Additionally, miR-448 restoration suppressed in vivo NSCLC cell growth. Finally, our studies also indicated that miR-448 exerted anti-NSCLC functions via regulating PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and EMT. CONCLUSIONS These results showed that miR-448/EPHA7 axis maybe one of the useful diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for NSCLC patients.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate whether virtual reality (VR) interventions have beneficial effects on the functional communication and language function of patients with post-stroke aphasia (PSA). METHODS We searched nine electronic literature databases and two clinical registry platforms to identify randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and quasi-RCTs performed up to September 2020. Screening, quality assessment, and data collection were performed by two authors independently, using standard protocols. Data aggregation and risk of bias evaluation were conducted using Review Manager Version 5.4. The quality of evidence was evaluated with GRADEpro. RESULTS A total of five studies involving 121 participants met the inclusion criteria and were appraised. Four studies were included in the quantitative synthesis. VR reduced the severity of language impairment with borderline significance [SMD (95%CI) = 0.70[0.01, 1.39], P=0.05]. The meta-analysis showed no statistical difference in functional communication [SMD (95%CI) =0.41[-0.29, 1.12], P=0.25], word finding [SMD (95%CI) =0.42[-0.24, 1.08], P=0.21], and repetition [SMD (95%CI) =0.16[-0.62, 0.94], P=0.68] between VR group and the control group. CONCLUSION This review demonstrated a borderline positive clinical effect of VR for the severity of language impairment when compared with conventional rehabilitation therapy. Conversely, VR had no effect on functional communication, word finding, and repetition. Further research is warranted to reach more definite conclusions.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Pulmonary infection is the most common complication to develop after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Antibiotics have certain limitations when used to treat pulmonary infection, while Tanreqing injection (TRQI) is extensively used to treat pulmonary infection as an adjuvant to antibiotics. The aim of this meta-analysis was to investigate the clinical efficacy of TRQI for the treatment of lung infection secondary to ICH. METHODS Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) assessing the combination of TRQI and antibiotics compared to antibiotics alone for pulmonary infection after ICH were comprehensively searched for in 7 electronic databases from their establishment to August 2020. Two independent researchers conducted the literature retrieval, screening, and data extraction. The assessment tool of Cochrane risk of bias and Review Manager 5.3 software were applied to assess the methodological quality and analyze the data, respectively. RESULTS Seventeen RCTs involving 1122 patients with pulmonary infection after ICH were included. Compared to antibiotics alone, the combination treatment enhanced the clinical effective rate, shortened the hospital stay, reduced the white blood cell, procalcitonin, and C-reactive protein levels, ameliorated the times to the resolution of fever, cough, and lung rales, and increased the oxygenation index. The evidence indicated that TRQI combined with antibiotics caused no adverse reactions. CONCLUSIONS Our study showed that the combination of TRQI and antibiotics was effective for treating pulmonary infection after ICH. However, high-quality multicenter RCTs are needed to further verify the clinical efficacy of TRQI due to the publication bias and the low methodological quality of the included RCTs.

Abstract
Aphasia, one of the most common cognitive impairments after stroke, is commonly considered to be a cortical deficit. However, many studies have reported cases of post subcortical stroke aphasia (PSSA). The pathology and recovery mechanism of PSSA remain unclear. This study aimed to investigate PSSA mechanism through a multimodal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) approach and a two-session study design (baseline and one month after treatment). Thirty-six PSSA patients and twenty-four matched healthy controls (HC) were included. All patients had subcortical infarctions involving left subcortical white matter for 1 to 6 months. The patients underwent MRI scan and Western Aphasia Battery (WAB) examination before and after one month's comprehensive treatment. Region-wise lesion-symptom mapping (RLSM), tractography, fractional anisotropy (FA), and amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations (ALFF) analysis were conducted. After MRI preprocessing and exclusion, FA analysis included 35 patients pre-treatment and 16 patients post-treatment. ALFF analysis included 30 patients pre-treatment and 14 patients post-treatment. We found: 1) the amount of damage in the left uncinate fasciculus (UF) was associated with WAB aphasia quotient (AQ); 2) the left UF FA and left temporal pole (TP) ALFF were decreased and positively correlated with WAB-AQ, spontaneous speech, and naming in PSSA patients; and 3) PSSA patients showed increased left TP ALFF when their language ability recovered after treatment. The left TP ALFF change was positively correlated with AQ change. Our results demonstrate the importance of left UF and left TP (one of the cortical terminals of the left UF) in PSSA pathology and recovery. These results may further provide support for the disconnection theory in the mechanism of PSSA.

Abstract
As exemplified by the growing interest in the quantum anomalous Hall effect, the research on topology as an organizing principle of quantum matter is greatly enriched from the interplay with magnetism. In this vein, we present a combined electrical and thermoelectrical transport study on the magnetic Weyl semimetal EuCd_{2}As_{2}. Unconventional contribution to the anomalous Hall and anomalous Nernst effects were observed both above and below the magnetic transition temperature of EuCd_{2}As_{2}, indicating the existence of significant Berry curvature. EuCd_{2}As_{2} represents a rare case in which this unconventional transverse transport emerges both above and below the magnetic transition temperature in the same material. The transport properties evolve with temperature and field in the antiferromagnetic phase in a different manner than in the paramagnetic phase, suggesting different mechanisms to their origin. Our results indicate EuCd_{2}As_{2} is a fertile playground for investigating the interplay between magnetism and topology, and potentially a plethora of topologically nontrivial phases rooted in this interplay.

Abstract
A new dynamic foveated imager has been developed and commissioned on the wide-angle infra-red thermography system in the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak. This technique improves the local spatial resolution by a factor of 2 while maintaining the wide-angle view to ensure safety operation. Taking advantage of the new foveated imager, heat flux splitting under the application of resonant magnetic perturbation (RMP) coils has been clearly observed. The results indicate that the toroidal asymmetric power load pattern is closely related to the perturbation field induced by the RMP coils.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Polymeric micellar paclitaxel (pm-Pac) is a novel Cremophor EL-free, nanoparticle micellar formulation of paclitaxel. We aimed to compare the efficacy and safety between pm-Pac plus cisplatin and solvent-based paclitaxel (sb-Pac) plus cisplatin in advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). PATIENTS AND METHODS A total of 448 stage IIIB to IV NSCLC patients were randomly assigned (2:1) to receive six 3-week cycles of either pm-Pac (230 mg/m2) plus cisplatin (70 mg/m2; n = 300), followed by dose escalation of pm-Pac to 300 mg/m2 from the second 3-week cycle if prespecified toxic effects were not observed after the first cycle, or sb-Pac (175 mg/m2) plus cisplatin (70 mg/m2; n = 148). The primary end point was objective response rate (ORR) assessed by independent review committees (IRCs). The secondary end points included IRC-assessed progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), and safety. RESULTS Patients in the pm-Pac-plus-cisplatin group showed significant improvements in IRC-assessed ORR compared with those in the sb-Pac-plus-cisplatin group (50% versus 26%; rate ratio 1.91; P < 0.0001). Additionally, subgroup analysis showed that a higher ORR was consistently observed in both squamous and nonsquamous histological types. IRC-assessed median PFS was significantly higher in the pm-Pac-plus-cisplatin group than in the sb-Pac-plus-cisplatin group (6.4-month versus 5.3-month; hazard ratio 0.63; P = 0.0001). Median OS was not significantly different between the two groups. The incidence of treatment-related serious adverse events (9% versus 18%; P = 0.0090) was significantly lower in the pm-Pac-plus-cisplatin group than in the sb-Pac-plus-cisplatin group. CONCLUSION Pm-Pac plus cisplatin yielded superior ORR and PFS along with a favorable safety profile and should become an option for patients with advanced NSCLC.
