Abstract
Potassium-sulfur batteries hold practical promise for next-generation batteries because of their high theoretical gravimetric energy density and low cost. However, significant impediments are the sluggish K2S oxidation kinetics and a lack of atomic-level understanding of K2S oxidation. Here, for the first time, we report the catalytic oxidation of K2S on a sulfur host with Co single atoms immobilized on nitrogen-doped carbon. On the basis of combined spectroscopic characterizations, electrochemical evaluation, and theoretical computations, we show a synergistic effect of dynamic Co-S and N-K interactions to catalyze K2S oxidation. The resultant potassium-sulfur battery exhibited high capacities of 773 and 535 mAh g-1 under high current densities of 1 and 2 C, respectively. These findings provide atomic-scale insights for the rational design of highly efficient sulfur hosts.

Abstract
Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy is an alternative detection tool for monitoring food security. However, there is still a lack of a conclusion of SERS detection with respect to pesticides and real sample analysis, and the summary of intelligent algorithms in SERS is also a blank. In this review, a comprehensive report of pesticides detection using SERS technology is given. The SERS detection characteristics of different types of pesticides and the influence of substrate on inspection are discussed and compared by the typical ways of classification. The key points, including the progress in real sample analysis and Raman data processing methods with intelligent algorithm, are highlighted. Lastly, major challenges and future research trends of SERS analysis of pesticide residue are also addressed. SERS has been proven to be a powerful technique for rapid test of residue pesticides in complex food matrices, but there still is a tremendous development space for future research.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the safety and feasibility of Da Vinci robot-assisted pylorus and vagus nerve-preserving partial gastrectomy for gastric cancer. Methods: In this study, descriptive case series method was used to retrospectively analyze the data of 3 patients with gastric cancer who underwent Da Vinci robot-assisted pylorus and vagus nerve-preserving partial gastrectomy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University from December 2020 to February 2021. The linear layout was adopted for the setting of trocar, and the co-axial direction was the line connecting the umbilicus and splenic hilum. The inferior pyloric arteries and veins need to be preserved. The center was the bifurcation of the right gastroepiploic vessel and the inferior pyloric vessel. Dissection and exposure were performed from the upper, lower, right and left sides, and ventral and dorsal sides to complete the dissection of the inferior pyloric lymph nodes. The superior border of the pancreas was treated by the right diaphragmatic crus approach, the left retroperitoneal approach and the esophageal approach to determine the distribution of the posterior vagal trunk and its branches, and to determine the anatomical relationship with the left gastric artery. The left gastric artery was cut off while the celiac branch of vagus nerve and cardia branch of left gastric artery were preserved. Lymph node dissection was performed on the lateral side of nerve fibers around the blood vessels. Result: All the 3 patients successfully completed the robotic surgery without conversion to laparoscopy or laparotomy. The operation time was (340.0±26.4) (300-390) minutes, the intraoperative blood loss was (13.3±3.3) (10-20) ml, the number of dissected lymph nodes was 26.7±3.9 (19-32), the length of pylorus canal preserved was (3.3±0.3) (3-4) cm, the distal margin was (2.3±0.3) (2-3) cm, and the proximal margin was (3.0±0.6) (2-4) cm. No postoperative complications occurred in all the 3 patients. The first flatus time was 2-3 days after operation, and the postoperative hospital stay was 6-7 days. The operation cost of the 3 patients was (40±7) (33-53) thousand yuan. Conclusion: Da Vinci robot-assisted pylorus and vagus nerve-preserving partial gastrectomy is safe and feasible.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of combined diagnostic model based on extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) algorithm to determine the pathological grading of gastric neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs). Methods: A total of 81 gastric NENs patients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University confirmed by definite pathological grading from August 2012 to December 2019 were enrolled. The data of clinical and CT findings were collected. The number of lesions, tumor location, shape, lymph node metastasis, thickness, longitude of tumor and CT values in arterial and venous phase were analyzed. ITK-SNAP software and Python 2.1.0 PyRadiomics software were used to perform the image preprocessing and radiomics features extraction from segmented images. XGBoost algorithm was used to build the CT findings model, radiomics model in arterial phase, radiomics model in venous phase and combined diagnostic model. The diagnostic efficacy of CT imaging model, radiomics model in arterial phase, radiomics model in venous phase and combined diagnostic model were evaluated by accuracy, mean squared error (MSE) and mean absolute error (MAE). Results: The subjects were 28.0 to 78.0 (58.6+10.7) years old, including 56 males (69.1%). The number of lesions, tumor location, shape, lymph node metastasis, thickness and longitude of tumor between G1/G2 and G3 patients showed statistic significances (all P values<0.05), while there were no differences in CT values in arterial and venous phase (both P values>0.05). Six most important features in the combined diagnostic model were A_logarithm_glcm_Imc1, P_squareroot_glcm_Maximum Probability, thickness, longitude, A_wavelet-HHL_glrlm_GrayLevelNonUniformity and P_wavelet-LLL_ngtdm_Contrast, respectively. The accuracy of CT findings model, radiomics model in arterial phase, radiomics model in venous phase and combined diagnostic model were 81.8%, 86.0%, 87.8% and 91.0%, respectively; with MSE were 539.41, 490.08, 429.99 and 371.92, respectively; and MAE were 16.72, 15.25, 14.23 and 12.33, respectively. The MAE value of the combined diagnostic model was lower than those of CT findings model and radiomics model in arterial phase (P<0.001 and 0.004, respectively), while no statistically difference was detected compared to radiomics model in venous phase (P=0.111). Conclusion: The combined diagnostic model based on XGBoost algorithm have a good diagnostic efficiency for the pathological grading of gastric NENs.

Abstract
Abstract
BACKGROUND
An effective therapeutic method still hasn’t been devised for lethal high grade glioma. Thus, a method with high anti-tumoral efficiency, tumoral targeting, and acceptable side effect needs to be designed. Oncolytic virotherapy which can specifically lyse tumor cells via mass replication and deleting nucleotide metabolism related gene, like TK, required in viral replication and overexpressed in tumor cells, provides hope for patients. However, the virus only contained TK deletion is unable to show sufficient specificity of anti-tumoral response in tumor cells. Here, the adapted strain of vaccinia virus with high tumoral specificity due to TK and RR deletion and FUC1 insertion, named T601, is chosen in this project. In clinical application, intra-tumoral injection showed improved anti-tumoral efficiency and acceptable side effect. However, intra-tumoral viral injection in orthotropic glioma model is rare. In this project, various biosafety and antitumoral efficiency parameter would be tested for confirming the biosafety and reliability of intra-tumoral T601 viral injection for future clinical trials.
MATERIAL AND METHODS
For measuring the IC50 of T601, 10 different amounts of virus was tested in vitro via calculating cell viability with CCK-8(cell counting kit-8). For measuring the further antitumoral response of FCU1, different concentration of the 5-FC was added into the medium with IC50 viral amount. To ensure the biosafety of T601, MTD (maximum tolerance dose) was measured. Based on the MTD result, for evaluating the anti-tumoral efficiency, 106 pfu,105 pfu,104 pfu of virus was intra-tumoral injected in orthotopic GBM bearing mice. Tumor size was measured once a week through in vivo bioimaging system.
RESULTS
0.022 MOI, the IC50 of T601, showed high cytotoxicity of T601. Moreover, the significantly decreased cell viability under the combined treatment of 5-FC and 0.22MOI T601 showed intact anti-tumoral function. In MTD assay, except for 107 group, no significant weight loss was found. However, in 107 pfu group, mean body weight decreased around 10% and animal fatality happened on day 9. According to the MTD result, certain amount of virus was intra-tumorally injected. In all treatment group, the tumor size was significantly shrined. At the same time, the survival rate of mice under viral treatment was significantly extended.
CONCLUSION
In summary, T601 exhibited efficient anti-tumoral function and acceptable side effect. T601 treatment prolonged the survival period of GBM mice with acceptable neurotoxicity, demonstrating that T601 contains necessary criterial for intra-tumoral injection. Ultimately, this project provided basic reference information of dose for future clinical trial.

Abstract
DNA sequencing is vital for many aspects of biological research and diagnostics. Despite the development of second and third generation sequencing technologies, Sanger sequencing has long been the only choice when required to precisely track each sequenced plasmids or DNA fragments. Here, we report a complete set of novel barcoding and assembling system, Highly-parallel Indexed Tagmentation-reads Assembled Consensus sequencing (HITAC-seq), that could massively sequence and track the identities of each individual sequencing sample. With the cost of much less than that of single read of Sanger sequencing, HITAC-seq can generate high-quality contiguous sequences of up to 10 kilobases or longer. The capability of HITAC-seq was confirmed through large-scale sequencing of thousands of plasmid clones and hundreds of amplicon fragments using approximately 100 pg of input DNAs. Due to its long synthetic length, HITAC-seq was effective in detecting relatively large structural variations, as demonstrated by the identification of a ∼1.3 kb Copia retrotransposon insertion in the upstream of a likely maize domestication gene. Besides being a practical alternative to traditional Sanger sequencing, HITAC-seq is suitable for many high-throughput sequencing and genotyping applications.

Abstract
AbstractBig data have been widely studied by numerous scholars and enterprises due to its great power in making highly reliable decisions for various complex systems. Remanufacturing systems have recently received much attention, because they play significant roles in end-of-life product recovery, environment protection and resource conservation. Disassembly is treated as a critical step in remanufacturing systems. In practice, it is difficult to know the accurate data of end-of-life products such as disassembly time because of their various usage processes, leading to the great difficulty of making effective and reliable decisions. Thus, it is necessary to model the disassembly process with stochastic programming method where the past collected data are fitted into stochastic distributions of parameters by applying big data technology. Additionally, designing and applying highly efficient intelligent optimization algorithms to handle a variety of complex problems in the disassembly process are urgently needed. To achieve the global optimization of disassembling multiple products simultaneously, this work studies a stochastic multi-product disassembly line balancing problem with maximal disassembly profit while meeting disassembly time requirements. Moreover, a chance-constrained programming model is correspondingly formulated, and then, an enhanced group teaching optimization algorithm incorporating a stochastic simulation method is developed by considering this model’s features. Via performing simulation experiments on real-life cases and comparing it with five popularly known approaches, we verify the excellent performance of the designed method in solving the studied problem.

Abstract
The silver nanoparticles have been frequently used in SERS detection, for their unique optical properties and sensitive surface Raman enhancement properties. However, as the preparation of silver nanoparticles will use polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) to achieve the effect of reducing agent and surfactant, the surface of the prepared silver nanoparticles will be wrapped by PVP, forming an insulating layer and an ill-defined AgNPs interface, which limits the plasmonic coupling between the laminates of AgNPs. This paper reported a simple method to remove PVP for high performance and reusable SERS substrate, and the residue of PVP was studied after clean centrifugal by ethanol or water. When the number of cleaning times reached 10, there was basically no residual of PVP. The cleaned AgNPs interface effectively enhanced the plasma resonance of the local surface (LSPR) and greatly improved the SERS activity of the substrate. Moreover, probe molecules (R6G) are introduced to study the influence of single molecule PVP on subsequent detection. Through the competitive relationship between the two, it can be concluded that residual PVP has basically no influence on detection of the molecular which absorbed stronger than PVP, and the remaining PVP can be ignored.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Plutella xylostella (L.) is a serious worldwide pest that feeds on cruciferous plants and has evolved resistance to different classes of insecticides used for its control, including chlorantraniliprole. ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters, constituting the largest transport family in organisms, are involved in phase III of the detoxification process and may play important roles in insecticide resistance. RESULTS A total of 15 ABC transporter transcripts from subfamily G were identified in P. xylostella based on the latest DBM genome. Synergism studies showed that treatment with verapamil, a potent inhibitor of ABC transporters, significantly increased the toxicity of chlorantraniliprole against larvae of two chlorantraniliprole-resistant P. xylostella populations (NIL and BL). ABCG2, ABCG5, ABCG6, ABCG9, ABCG11, ABCG14 and ABCG15 were significantly overexpressed in NIL and BL compared with the susceptible population (SS), and ABCG1, ABCG6, ABCG8, ABCG9, ABCG14 and ABCG15 were significantly upregulated after treatment with the LC50 of chlorantraniliprole in SS. Subsequently, ABCG6, ABCG9 and ABCG14, which were overexpressed in both NIL and BL and could be induced in SS, were chosen for functional study. RNAi-mediated knockdown of each of the three ABCGs significantly increased the sensitivity of larvae to chlorantraniliprole. These results confirmed that overexpression of ABCG6, ABCG9 and ABCG14 may contribute to chlorantraniliprole resistance in P. xylostella. CONCLUSION Overexpression of some genes in the ABCG subfamily is involved in P. xylostella resistance to chlorantraniliprole. These results may help to establish a foundation for further studies investigating the role played by ABC transporters in chlorantraniliprole resistance in P. xylostella or other insect pests. © 2021 Society of Chemical Industry.

Abstract
Spodoptera frugiperda (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) is a widely distributed pest of corn. Since it invaded China in 2018, it has caused serious damage to local corn production. Chlorantraniliprole, an anthranilic diamide insecticide, has been widely used to control lepidopteran pests. Tetrachloropyramid is a new allosteric modulator insecticide developed based on chlorantraniliprole, so it has a similar mechanism and insecticidal effect. In this study, we investigated resistance levels to chlorantraniliprole and tetrachloropyramid in S. frugiperda from 13 populations in China. Among the populations tested, the relative highest resistance to chlorantraniliprole occurred in the Guangzhou population, and the most susceptible to chlorantraniliprole was found in the Wuhan population. The lethal dosage LD50 value of the Guangzhou population against chlorantraniliprole was 27.8-fold higher than that of the Wuhan population. Minimal differences were observed among S. frugiperda populations in terms of sensitivity to tetrachloropyramid. Heterozygous mutations at the I4734 site of the ryanodine receptor (RyR) were found, while no mutations were found in the G4891 site. The mutations were detected in only two of the 786 individuals analyzed, one from the Qinzhou population and other from the Anshun population (frequency below 2% in both cases). There were no significant differences in the expression levels of RyR between Guangzhou and Wuhan populations. In summary, our results indicate that: (i) S. frugiperda has low resistance levels to diamide insecticides in China; and (ii) the differences in relative resistance among the 13 populations analyzed are not caused by the mutations in RyR or the expression of RyR.

Abstract
Enolase is a crucial enzyme involved in the glycolytic pathway and gluconeogenesis in parasites. It also has been reported to function as a plasminogen receptor and may be involved in tissue invasion. In this study, the biochemical properties of the enolase of Spirometra mansoni (Smenolase) were investigated. The Smenolase gene was found to cluster closely with the enolase genes of Clonorchis sinensis and Echinococcus granulosus, and some functional motifs were identified as conserved. Smenolase was confirmed to be a component of the secretory/excretory products (ESPs) and a circulating antigen of spargana. Recombinant Smenolase expressed in vitro was able to bind to human plasminogen. Smenolase was detected in the eggs, testicles, and vitellaria of adult worms and the tegument of spargana. The transcription level of Smenolase was highest at the gravid proglottid stage. When spargana were cultured with glucose of different concentration in vitro, it was observed that the expression levels of Smenolase in the low-glucose groups were consistent with that of Smenolase in vivo. These results indicate that Smenolase is a critical enzyme involved in supplying energy to support the development and reproduction of the parasite, and it may also play a role in sparganum invasion.

Abstract
Nucleic acid aptamers are small fragments of DNA or RNA molecules binding specifically to targets, which can be obtained through in vitro screening via systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment (SELEX). Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) is an important tumor marker, whose level in patients is of great significance for diagnosis of many diseases. Here, we report the identification of LDH aptamers by 9 rounds of screening from a length-mixed single-stranded DNA library using the SELEX technology. After the 3rd and 7th rounds of aptamer screening, affinity was significantly improved, and fluorescence quantitative analysis showed stronger affinity for the aptamers selected from the 7th to 9th rounds of screening. After high-throughput sequencing, motif analysis, and secondary structure prediction, we finally chose and further investigated 15 candidate LDH aptamer sequences with obvious differences in secondary structure in the 7th to 9th rounds of screening. Among them, LDH7-1, LDH7-9, LDH8-2, and LDH9-1 were shown to bind to LDH protein with high affinity and specificity with Kd < 25 nM. This study provides new ideas for rapid detection of LDH protein content and enzyme activity, thus contributing to the development of rapid medical detection.

Abstract
Nowadays, the reverse supply chain management receives much attention because of its critical role in environmental protection and economic development. Disassembly is very important in the reverse supply chain. It aims at dismantling valuable components from end-of-life products which are then remanufactured into like-new ones after reprocessing and reassembly operations. To efficiently organize and manage the remanufacturing process from the perspective of sustainable development, this work proposes a stochastic disassembly sequence planning problem with consideration of noise pollution and energy consumption to achieve disassembly profit maximization. A chance-constrained programming model is formulated to describe it mathematically. Then, a discrete marine predators algorithm combined with a stochastic simulation approach is specially designed. By conducting simulation experiments on some real-life instances and comparing the designed approach with two popularly known methods in literature, we mainly find that the proposed model and approach can make better disassembly plan for the investigated problem with maximal profit subject to the given noise pollution and energy consumption constraints. The results demonstrate that the proposed method can efficiently and effectively handle the considered problem, which contributes to reaching the highly reliable and environmentally sustainable disassembly process.

Abstract
Raman spectroscopy is a molecular vibrational spectroscopic technique has developed rapidly in recent years, especially in rapid field detection. In this paper, we discuss the Raman spectral pretreatment method and classification algorithm by using nearly 300 pigments spectral data as an example. Here, more than 5 kinds of classification algorithms such as SVM, KNN, ANN and et al are used to sovle the problem of pigments visualization, classification and identification via Raman spectral, and the results show that most of the algorithms fit well, with an accuracy of 90%. Moreover, SNR (Signal to noise ratio) is introduced to evaluate the stability of our algorithm. When the SNR is low, the accuracy of the algorithm decreases sharply. When the SNR was 1, the accuracy rate reached the highest value of 39.46%. In order to slove this problem, the flattopwin, hanning, blackman algorithm was introduced to denoise the signal with low SNR, even when SNR = 1, the signal is 80% accurate. It is proved that in the extreme case of this application, the algorithm still maintains good accuracy, and our research pave the way to use interlligent algorithms to solve the problems in the fields of Raman spectral detection.

Abstract
Facial emotional recognition is something used often in our daily lives. How does the brain process the face search? Can taste modify such a process? This study employed two tastes (sweet and acidic) to investigate the cross-modal interaction between taste and emotional face recognition. The behavior responses (reaction time and correct response ratios) and the event-related potential (ERP) were applied to analyze the interaction between taste and face processing. Behavior data showed that when detecting a negative target face with a positive face as a distractor, the participants perform the task faster with an acidic taste than with sweet. No interaction effect was observed with correct response ratio analysis. The early (P1, N170) and mid-stage [early posterior negativity (EPN)] components have shown that sweet and acidic tastes modified the ERP components with the affective face search process in the ERP results. No interaction effect was observed in the late-stage (LPP) component. Our data have extended the understanding of the cross-modal mechanism and provided electrophysiological evidence that affective facial processing could be influenced by sweet and acidic tastes.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Carboxylesterases (CarEs) are associated with detoxification of xenobiotics, including insecticides, in organism bodies. Overexpression of CarE genes is considered to have an important role in insecticide resistance in insects, however its involvement in multi-insecticide resistance has rarely been reported. This study aimed to assess the function of a CarE gene (PxαE8) in resistance to five insecticides in Plutella xylostella. RESULTS Relative expression of PxαE8 in three multi-insecticide-resistant Plutella xylostella populations, GD-2017, GD-2019 and HN, was14.8-, 19.5- and 28.0-fold higher than that in the susceptible population. Exposure to lethal concentrations associated with 25% mortality (LC25 ) of beta-cypermethrin, chlorantraniliprole, metaflumizone, phoxim and tebufenozide could induce the specific activity of CarEs and increase the relative expression of PxαE8. By contrast, knockdown of PxαE8 expression dramatically reduced the activity of CarEs and increased the resistance of P. xylostella (GD-2019) larvae to beta-cypermethrin and phoxim by 47.4% and 45.5%, respectively. Further, a transgenic line of Drosophila melanogaster overexpressing PxαE8 was constructed and the bioassay results showed that the tolerance of transgenic Drosophila to beta-cypermethrin and phoxim was 3.93- and 3.98-fold higher than that of the untransgenic line. CONCLUSION These results provide evidence that overexpression of PxαE8 is involved in resistance, at least to beta-cypermethrin and phoxim, in multi-insecticide-resistant P. xylostella populations, which could help in further understanding the molecular mechanisms of multi-insecticide resistance in this pest. © 2020 Society of Chemical Industry.

Abstract
Sublethal effect considered as an emerging factor to assess the environmental risk of insecticides, which can impact the insects on both physiology and behavior. Lethal exposure can be causing near immediate mortality. Pests are inevitably exposed to sublethal and lethal dose in the agroecosystem following application of pesticides. Insecticides, widely used for the control of insect pests, are irreplaceable in insect pest management. The effects of imidacloprid by the method of high-throughput non-targeted metabolomics was investigated in Aphis gossypii Glover exposed to LC10 and LC90 doses of the imidacloprid, and the control group was treated with the same condition without imidacloprid. Pairwise comparisons showed that 111 metabolites changed significantly, 60 in the LC10 group, and 66 in the LC90 group compared to the control group, while only 16 changes in the LC10 were same with that in LC90 group. Among the changed metabolites, a total of 16 metabolites were identified as potential biomarkers, which represented the most influential pathways including glycolysis and gluconeogenesis, alanine, aspartate, and glutamate metabolism, ascorbate and aldarate metabolism, glutathione metabolism, phenylalanine metabolism, tyrosine metabolism, caffeine metabolism and parkinson's disease (PD), which could account for the sublethal and lethal effects on A. gossypii. These modified metabolic pathways demonstrated that high energy consumption, excitotoxicity and oxidative stress (OS) were appeared in both LC10 and LC90 groups, while PD was detected only in the LC90 group. The results of non-targeted metabolomics revealed the effects of neonicotinoid pesticide exposure on A. gossypii successfully, and provided a deep insight into the influenced physiology by the stress of neonicotinoid pesticide in the insect.

Abstract
Developing two-dimensional (2D) materials as anode materials have been proved a promising approach to significantly improve the charge storage performances of alkali metal ion. Herein, we investigate mono-layered VN2 as an anode material in Li, Na and K ion batteries. Firstly, the high stability of 2D-VN2 has been demonstrated via calculating the phonon spectra. 2D-VN2 is capable of delivering high capacities of 678.8, 339.4 and 1357.6 mAh g-1 in Li+, K+ and Na+ storage, respectively. In addition, the metallic properties and corresponding high electrical conductivity and low diffusion barriers of 201.1 meV for Li atoms, 34.7 meV for K atoms and 84.1 meV for Na atoms on VN2 surface, indicating good capacity and the superior rate performances of alkali metal atoms migration on VN2. The calculated average voltage of Li, Na and K are respectively 0.81 V, 0.29 V and 0.77 V, suggesting a promising voltage behavior compared with other 2D materials.

Abstract
Chitinases are of great importance in chitin degradation and remodeling in insects. However, the genome-wide distribution of chitinase-like gene family in Bemsia tabaci, a destructive pest worldwide, is still elusive. With the help of bioinformatics, we annotated 14 genes that encode putative chitinase-like proteins, including ten chitinases (Cht), three imaginal disk growth factors (IDGF), and one endo-β-N-acetylglucosaminidase (ENGase) in the genome of the whitefly, B. tabaci. These genes were phylogenetically grouped into eight clades, among which 13 genes were classified in the glycoside hydrolase family 18 groups and one in the ENGase group. Afterwards, developmental expression analysis suggested that BtCht10, BtCht5, and BtCht7 were highly expressed in nymphal stages and exhibit similar expression patterns, implying their underlying role in nymph ecdysis. Notably, nymphs exhibited a lower rate of survival when challenged by dsRNA targeting these three genes via a nanomaterial-promoted RNAi method. In addition, silencing of BtCht10 significantly resulted in a longer duration of development compared to control nymphs. These results indicate a key role of BtCht10, BtCht5, and BtCht7 in B. tabaci nymph molting. Our research depicts the differences of chitinase-like family genes in structure and function and identified potential targets for RNAi-based whitefly management.

Coordinative mediation of the response to alarm pheromones by three odorant binding proteins in the green peach aphid Myzus persicae. INSECT BIOCHEMISTRY AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY 2021; 130:103528. Abstract
Odorant binding proteins (OBPs) play an essential role for insect chemosensation in insect peripheral nervous systems of antennae. Each antennal sensilla contains more than one OBP at high concentrations but the interactions and cooperation between co-localized OBPs are rarely reported. In present study, we cloned, expressed and purified eight OBPs of the green peach aphid Myzus persicae. The effects of knocking down the expression of these OBP genes by RNAi on the electrophysiological and behavioural responses of M. persicae to the aphid alarm pheromone, (E)-β-farnesene (EβF) were investigated. The results showed that the aphids could still be repelled by EβF when the expression of each of three OBP genes was individually knocked down. However, the simultaneous knockdown of MperOBP3/7/9 expression significantly reduced the electrophysiological response and the repellent behaviours of M. persicae to EβF than the single OBP gene knockdown (P < 0.05). Rather than a normal saturation binding curve of individual OBP, the binding curve of MperOBP3/7/9 is bell-shaped with a higher affinity for the fluorescent probe N-phenyl-1-naphthylamine (1-NPN). The competitive binding assays confirmed that MperOBP3, MperOBP7, MperOBP9 and MperOBP3/7/9 mixture exhibited a stronger binding affinity for EβF, than for sex pheromones and plant volatiles with a dissociation constant of 2.5 μM, 1.1 μM, 3.9 μM and 1.0 μM, respectively. The competitive binding curve of MperOBP3/7/9 mixture to EβF is shallow without bottom plateau, suggesting a conformational change and a rapid dissociation after the displacement of all 1-NPN (in vivo after the saturation binding of all OBPs by EβF). The interaction between OBPs and formation of a heterogeneous unit may facilitate the delivery EβF to the OR at electrophysiological and behavioural levels during insect odorant signal transduction thus mediate M. persicae response to the alarm pheromone EβF.

Abstract
Two-dimensional (2D) ferromagnetic (FM) semiconductors with a high Curie temperature and tunable electronic properties are a long-term pursuing target for the development of high-performance spin-dependent optoelectronic devices. Herein, on the basis of density functional theory calculations, we report a new strategy to tune the Curie temperature and electronic structures of a ferromagnetic CrBr3 monolayer through the formation of CrBr3/GaN van der Waals heterostructures. Our calculated results demonstrate that the Curie temperature and band alignment of CrBr3/GaN heterostructures strongly depend on the thickness and polarization direction of the GaN layer. The combination of the CrBr3 monolayer with N-terminated GaN nanosheets leads to enhanced FM coupling via superexchange interactions between the Cr-t2g and Cr-eg orbitals, consequently resulting in a Curie temperature of CrBr3 of up to 67 K. Moreover, self-doped p-n junctions can be naturally formed in the heterostructures without additional modulation of external fields. The enhanced FM coupling and self-doping effect in the heterostructures are associated with the intrinsic polarization of the GaN layer that drives interfacial electron transfers from GaN to CrBr3. Therefore, this work not only offers an efficient scheme to boost the Curie temperature of the CrBr3 monolayer but also opens up a new route to realize nonvolatile van der Waals p-n junctions.

Abstract
Controllable synthesis of novel metal nanoparticles and effective capture of hotspots are of great significance for SERS (surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy) detection. Therefore, in this paper, a green controllable synthesis method of gold nanoparticle was achieved via epigallocatechin gallate reduction. Different morphologies of gold nanoparticles were synthesized just by changing the solution pH values, and the growth kinetics of AuNPs (gold nanoparticles) were systematically studied. The synthetic AuNPs were put in a droplet to study dynamic variations of self-assembly SERS hotspots from the liquid sol state to the solid dry state. The addition of halogen ions in the droplet can controllably regulate the self-assembly three-dimensional hotspot model of gold nanoparticles in the evaporation process of a droplet, during which the most enhancement effect can be easily captured. The dynamically changing images of nanoparticles in the process were graphically described based on the internal interaction forces of a droplet. Two stronger areas in the changes of SERS intensity were achieved with a high concentration of halogen ions, while only one maximum intensity area was obtained with a low concentration of halogen ions added. This method can effectively avoid complex and unpredictable microenvironments of SERS substrates in the liquid drop, further improving the reproducibility of SERS detection as well as broadening it to biological applications.

Abstract
The volar divergent dislocation of the second to fifth carpometacarpal joints and involving fracture of carpal is an extremely rare injury. We reported a case of 55-year-old man, victim of a motorbike, who was struck by a car, admitted at the emergency department unable to move his left hand with severe swelling. X-rays and CT scan showed a volar divergent dislocation of second to fifth carpometacarpal joints and involving fracture of carpal. Patient underwent closed reduction and plaster fixation right way, after one week, he received open reduction internal fixation with K-wire and plaster. Functional exercise was started progressively once K-wire and plaster were removed after six weeks. At six months follow-up, results were excellent and patient has regained all of his range of motion and hand activities. Key words: carpometacarpal joint, palmar, divergent, dislocation, hand, wrist.

Abstract
We present mesoporous bismuth nanosheets as a model to study the charge-storage mechanism of Mg/Bi systems in magnesium-ion batteries (MIBs). Using a systematic spectroscopy investigation of combined synchrotron-based operando X-ray diffraction, near-edge X-ray absorption fine structure and Raman, we demonstrate a reversible two-step alloying reaction mechanism Bi↔MgBi↔Mg3 Bi2 . Ab-initio simulation methods disclose the formation of a MgBi intermediate and confirm its high electronic conductivity. This intermediate serves as a buffer for the significant volume expansion (204 %) and acts to regulate Mg storage kinetics. The mesoporous bismuth nanosheets, as an ideal material for the investigation of the Mg charge-storage mechanism, effectively alleviate volume expansion and enable significant electrochemical performance in a lithium-free electrolyte. These findings will benefit mechanistic understandings and advance material designs for MIBs.
