Abstract
INTRODUCTION The prophylactic administration of clotting factor concentrate is currently the most effective strategy for the prevention of joint bleeding. As new agents with different mechanisms of action and administration schedules are developed, it will be important to study them in relevant preclinical models. AIM The aim of this study was the standardization of a mouse haemarthrosis model in a haemophilia mouse and the development and validation of a comprehensive bleeding assessment system, the Bleeding Severity Score (BSS). METHODS AND RESULTS Four outcome measurements were assessed, two of which, the extra-articular bleeding score and intra-articular bleeding score, were determined to be the most reliable and were summarized into a BSS which was validated using a mouse haemarthrosis variability model. CONCLUSION Using this model, the haemostatic effect of prospective drugs can be assessed in a clinically relevant joint bleeding model and will significantly increase the value of preclinical studies.

Abstract
We report evidence for a narrow structure, X(5568), in the decay sequence X(5568)→B_{s}^{0}π^{±}, B_{s}^{0}→J/ψϕ, J/ψ→μ^{+}μ^{-}, ϕ→K^{+}K^{-}. This is evidence for the first instance of a hadronic state with valence quarks of four different flavors. The mass and natural width of this state are measured to be m=5567.8±2.9(stat)_{-1.9}^{+0.9}(syst) MeV/c^{2} and Γ=21.9±6.4(stat)_{-2.5}^{+5.0}(syst) MeV/c^{2}. If the decay is X(5568)→B_{s}^{*}π^{±}→B_{s}^{0}γπ^{±} with an unseen γ, m(X(5568)) will be shifted up by m(B_{s}^{*})-m(B_{s}^{0})∼49 MeV/c^{2}. This measurement is based on 10.4 fb^{-1} of pp[over ¯] collision data at sqrt[s]=1.96 TeV collected by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron collider.

Abstract
We report results from the first search for ν_{μ}→ν_{e} transitions by the NOvA experiment. In an exposure equivalent to 2.74×10^{20} protons on target in the upgraded NuMI beam at Fermilab, we observe 6 events in the Far Detector, compared to a background expectation of 0.99±0.11(syst) events based on the Near Detector measurement. A secondary analysis observes 11 events with a background of 1.07±0.14(syst). The 3.3σ excess of events observed in the primary analysis disfavors 0.1π<δ_{CP}<0.5π in the inverted mass hierarchy at the 90% C.L.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Northern populations were at a high risk of developing invasive bacterial diseases (IBDs). Since the last published study that described IBDs in Northern Canada, a number of vaccines against some bacterial pathogens have been introduced into the routine childhood immunization schedule. OBJECTIVE To describe the epidemiology of IBDs in Northern Canada from 2006 to 2013. METHODS Data for 5 IBDs (invasive pneumococcal disease (IPD), invasive Haemophilus influenzae disease (Hi), invasive Group A streptococcal disease (iGAS), invasive meningococcal disease (IMD) and invasive Group B streptococcal disease (GBS)) were extracted from the International Circumpolar Surveillance (ICS) program and the Canadian Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System. Incidence rates were calculated per 100,000 population per year. RESULTS During the study period, the incidence rates of IPD ranged from 16.84-30.97, iGAS 2.70-17.06, Hi serotype b 0-2.78, Hi non-b type 2.73-8.53, and IMD 0-3.47. Except for IMD and GBS, the age-standardized incidence rates of other diseases in Northern Canada were 2.6-10 times higher than in the rest of Canada. Over the study period, rates decreased for IPD (p=0.04), and iGAS (p=0.01), and increased for Hi type a (Hia) (p=0.004). Among IPD cases, the proportion of pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV)7 serotypes decreased (p=0.0004) over the study period. Among Hi cases, 69.8% were Hia and 71.6% of these were in children under than 5 years. Of 13 IMD cases, 8 were serogroup B and 2 of them died. CONCLUSION Northern population in Canada, especially infants and seniors among First Nations and Inuit, are at a high risk of IPD, Hi and iGAS. Hia is the predominant serotype in Northern Canada.

Abstract
We report evidence for the simultaneous production of J/ψ and ϒ mesons in 8.1 fb^{-1} of data collected at sqrt[s]=1.96 TeV by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab pp[over ¯] Tevatron Collider. Events with these characteristics are expected to be produced predominantly by gluon-gluon interactions. In this analysis, we extract the effective cross section characterizing the initial parton spatial distribution, σ_{eff}=2.2±0.7(stat)±0.9(syst) mb.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Enterovirus-D68 (EV-D68) was observed in association with severe respiratory disease in children in North America and around the world in the fall of 2014. OBJECTIVE To compare fall 2014 detection rates with fall 2015 detection rates of EV-D68 in nasopharyngeal swab (NPS) samples collected for routine clinical care from a large regional laboratory in south-central Ontario. METHOD Consecutive NPS samples submitted from inpatients and outpatients in Hamilton, Niagara Region and Burlington to the Regional Virology Laboratory were tested with multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for rhinovirus/enterovirus (as a single target) and for other common respiratory viruses. All NPS samples positive for rhinovirus/enterovirus were reflexed to a lab-developed single target PCR for EV-D68 detection. RESULTS In 2014, between August 1 and October 31, 566 of 1,497 (38%, 95%CI 35-40%) NPS samples were rhino/enterovirus positive, of which 177 (31%, 95%CI 27-35%) were confirmed as EV-D68. In 2015, between August 1 and October 31, 472 of 1,630 (29%, 95%CI 27-31%) NPS samples were rhino/enterovirus positive, of which none (0%, upper limit 97.5%CI 0.8%) were confirmed to be EV-D68. CONCLUSION Based on testing results, there appears to be much less circulating EV-D68 in south central Ontario in 2015 than in 2014. Further studies would be helpful to determine if detection rates have also dramatically decreased in other regions in Canada and internationally.

Abstract
We present a study of the inclusive production of the X(4140) state with the decay to the J/ψϕ final state in hadronic collisions. Based on 10.4 fb^{-1} of pp[over ¯] collision data collected by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron collider, we report the first evidence for the prompt production of an X(4140) state and find the fraction of X(4140) events originating from b hadrons to be f_{b}=0.39±0.07(stat)±0.10(syst). The ratio of the nonprompt X(4140) production rate to the B_{s}^{0} yield in the same channel is R=0.19±0.05(stat)±0.07(syst). The values of the mass M=4152.5±1.7(stat)_{-5.4}^{+6.2}(syst) MeV and width Γ=16.3±5.6(stat)±11.4(syst) MeV are consistent with previous measurements.

Abstract
We present the first search for CPT-violating effects in the mixing of Bs(0) mesons using the full Run II data set with an integrated luminosity of 10.4 fb(-1) of proton-antiproton collisions collected using the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. We measure the CPT-violating asymmetry in the decay Bs(0)→μ(±)Ds(±) as a function of celestial direction and sidereal phase. We find no evidence for CPT-violating effects and place limits on the direction and magnitude of flavor-dependent CPT- and Lorentz-invariance violating coupling coefficients. We find 95% confidence intervals of Δa⊥<1.2×10(-12) GeV and (-0.8<ΔaT-0.396ΔaZ<3.9)×10(-13) GeV.

Abstract
We present the final combination of CDF and D0 measurements of cross sections for single-top-quark production in proton-antiproton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV. The data correspond to total integrated luminosities of up to 9.7 fb^{-1} per experiment. The t-channel cross section is measured to be σ_{t}=2.25_{-0.31}^{+0.29} pb. We also present the combinations of the two-dimensional measurements of the s- vs t-channel cross section. In addition, we give the combination of the s+t channel cross section measurement resulting in σ_{s+t}=3.30_{-0.40}^{+0.52} pb, without assuming the standard model value for the ratio σ_{s}/σ_{t}. The resulting value of the magnitude of the top-to-bottom quark coupling is |V_{tb}|=1.02_{-0.05}^{+0.06}, corresponding to |V_{tb}|>0.92 at the 95% C.L.
