Abstract
Resveratrol has been reported as an ideal medicine in the treatment of colorectal cancer. Meanwhile, cadmium could affect the occurrence and development of tumors in various ways. Epithelial-mesenchymal transition is a major progress regulated with colorectal cancer (CRC). We aimed to determine the effect and mechanism of resveratrol on the Cd-promoted EMT in CRC cells. First, we investigated the migration and invasion of CRC cells with or without the treatment of different concentrations of Cd in vitro by the transwell assay. Second, Western blot and RT-qPCR assay were used to detect the expressions of EMT-related markers (ZEB1, vimentin, E-cadherin, and N-cadherin) in Cd-exposed CRC cells. Subsequently, after treating with different concentrations of resveratrol, the migration and invasion of Cd-exposed CRC cells were detected again, as well as the expressions of EMT-related markers. Moreover, m6A-related RNAs in Cd-exposed CRC cells after treating with resveratrol were immunoprecipitated and validated by Me-RIP and RT-qPCR. These indicated that Cd promoted the migration and invasion of CRC cells. In addition, Cd up-regulated the expressions of N-cadherin, vimentin, and ZEB1, while it down-regulated that of E-cadherin in CRC cells. Resveratrol could reverse the Cd-promoted migration, invasion, and EMT procession by regulating the expression of ZEB1.

Abstract
Objective: To study the characteristics and risk factors of psychological and behavioral problems of children and adolescents of different ages and genders in long-term home-schooling during the coronavirus disease-2019 pandemic. Further, to provide scientific basis for more targeted psychological intervention and coping strategies in the future. Methods: A cross-sectional survey using an online questionnaire was conducted on students aged 6-16 years old in five representative cities of North (Beijing), East (Shanghai), West (Chongqing), South (Guangzhou) and Middle (Wuhan) in China. In this study, the social behavior and psychological abnormalities which was defined as the positive of any dimension were investigated in multiple dimensions during long-term home-schooling. The influencing factors of psycho-behavioral problems were analyzed by Logistic regression, and the confounding factors were corrected with graded multivariable adjustment. Results: A total of 6 906 valid questionnaires were collected including 3 592 boys and 3 314 girls, of whom 3 626 were children (6-11 years old) and 3 280 were adolescents (12-16 years old). The positive detection rate of psychosocial-behavioral problems were 13.0% (900/6 906) totally, 9.6% (344/3 592) in boys and 16.8% (556/3 314) in girls respectively, and 7.3%(142/1 946) in boys aged 6-11, 14.0%(235/1 680) in girls aged 6-11, 12.3%(202/1 646) in boys aged 12-16, 19.6%(321/1 634) in girls aged 12-16 respectively. There were significant differences between the psychological problems group and the non-psychological problems group in gender, parent-offspring conflict, number of close friends, family income change, sedentary time, homework time, screen exposure time, physical activity, dietary problems (χ²=78.851, 285.264, 52.839, 26.284, 22.778, 11.024, 10.688, 36.814, 70.982, all P<0.01). The most common symptoms in boys aged 6-11 years were compulsive activity, schizoid and depression, in girls aged 6-11 years were schizoid/compulsive activity, hyperactivity and social withdrawal, in boys aged 12-16 years were hyperactivity, compulsive activity and aggressive behavior, and in girls aged 12-16 years were schizoid, anxiety/compulsive activity and depression/withdrawal, respectively. After graded multivariable adjustment, besides the common risk factors, homework time and online study time were the risk factors of 6-11 years old groups [boys OR(95%CI): 1.750 (1.32-2.32), 1.214(1.00-1.47), girls: 1.579(1.25-1.99), 1.222(1.05-1.42), all P<0.05], videogames time were the risk factors of 12-16 years old groups [ boys: 2.237 (1.60-3.13), girls: 1.272 (1.00-1.61), all P<0.05]. Conclusions: Some children and adolescents may have psychological and behavioral problems during long-term home-schooling. The psychological and behavioral manifestations differed in age and gender subgroups, which deserve special attention in each subgroups. Schools, families and specialists should actively provide precise psychological support and comprehensive intervention strategies according to special features and risk factors.

Abstract
Global warming results in high temperature stress (HTS), which presents severe challenges worldwide for modern agricultural production and will have significant impacts on the yield and quality of crops. Accumulation of photosynthetic products, activity of enzymes involved in sucrose-starch metabolism, phytohormone levels and metabolic profiling using LC-MS were analysed in the flag leaves and/or developing grains subjected to HTS during the grain-filling stage of an indica rice. HTS induced significant yield loss and reduced the grain quality, with lower amylose content. HTS reduced photosynthetic product accumulation in flag leaves and reduced starch accumulation in developing grains, compared to growth under normal temperatures. The activity of enzymes related to sucrose-starch metabolism were dis-regulated in developing grains grown under high temperature (HT). Moreover, phytohormone homeostasis in flag leaves and developing grains was also dramatically disturbed by HT. Metabolic profiling detected many metabolites with remarkably different relative fold abundances at different time points in the developing grain at HT versus normal temperatures, these metabolites were enriched in several HTS response pathways. The change in phytohormone ratio and auxin level might be associated with the reduction in photosynthetic products and their translocation, and ultimately with reduced starch accumulation in the developing grain. The detected metabolites might have different roles in response to the HTS in developing grain at different development stages. These results provide a theoretical reference and basis for future rice production towards higher quality and yield when grown under HTS.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the molecular epidemiology of norovirus associated with pediatric acute gastroenteritis in Beijing under the Working Mechanism for Joint Prevention and Control of the Epidemic in 2020. Methods: This was a retrospective, repeated cross-sectional study. Fecal or vomit samples (1 213 cases) were collected from children visited the Capital Institute of Pediatrics Affiliated Children's Hospital for acute gastroenteritis from January 1 to December 31, 2020. First, real-time reverse PCR (RT-PCR) was used to screen the samples for norovirus, and then RdRp gene and capsid gene VP1 of norovirus-positive samples were amplified by conventional RT-PCR for genotyping based on the nucleotide sequence. The χ2 test was used to compare the positive rates and genotypes of norovirus among different specimen types, genders of children, and different age groups. Results: Among the 1 213 samples were collected, 215 samples were positive for norovirus, with a positivity rate of 17.7% for the whole year. The peak of norovirus infection observed mainly in the cold seasons, as the positive rates were 28.6% (18/63), 26.2% (16/61), 22.8% (77/338) and 17.1% (89/520) in January, October, November and December, respectively. The positive rate of norovirus in fecal sample was significantly higher than that in vomit sample (χ2 = 9.692, P<0.01). There was no significant difference between genders (χ2=0.041, P>0.05), but significant difference was found between age groups with the highest rate in the 6-48 months group (χ²=103.112, P<0.01). Three genogroups (GⅠ, GⅡ and GⅨ) of the circulating virus were detected by G-gene typing, and GⅡgenogroup was predominant, accounting for 98.5% (196/199). Among the GⅡ positive samples, genotype GⅡ.4 Sydney (55.1%, 108/196) was the most common, followed by GⅡ.2 (29.6%, 58/196), while the GⅡ.3 norovirus (10.2%, 20/196) which was common in previous years was not as much as before. Based on the P-type, GⅡ.P16 was predominant (61.5%, 96/156), followed by GII.P31 (19.9%, 31/156). The dual genotyping revealed that GⅡ.4 Sydney [P16] (36.4%, 56/154) and GⅡ.2 [P16] (24.7%, 38/154) were predominant. Conclusion: The prevalence of norovirus in children in 2020 in Beijing is not much different from those of the previous years, but the genotypes composition has changed significantly, and there are multiple genotypes circulating simultaneously.

Abstract
Objective The IL‐33/ST2 axis has been extensively investigated in type 2 eosinophilic inflammation. Here, we aimed to investigate the role of the IL‐33/ST2 axis in neutrophil‐dominant allergic airway inflammation. Methods House‐dust mite (HDM) extract and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) were administered to establish a murine model of neutrophil‐dominant allergic airway inflammation. The formation of neutrophilic extracellular traps (NETs) in the lung tissues was demonstrated by immunofluorescence imaging. Mature IL‐33 in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) was detected by Western blotting. The neutrophilic chemokine KC produced by bone marrow‐derived macrophages (BMDMs) or primary alveolar epithelial cells was measured with a commercial ELISA kit. Results In the present study, we observed neutrophilic inflammation and tight junction damage in the lungs of mice sensitised with HDM and LPS. Furthermore, sensitisation with HDM and LPS resulted in the formation of NETs, accompanied by increased levels of mature IL‐33 in the BALF. Moreover, LPS damaged the epithelial tight junction protein occludin directly or indirectly by inducing NET formation. Surprisingly, IL‐33 deficiency augmented neutrophilia and epithelial barrier injury in the lungs of mice after sensitisation with HDM and LPS. Similarly, the absence of ST2 exacerbated the neutrophilic inflammatory response, decreased the expression of occludin and exacerbated the severity of neutrophil‐dominant allergic airway inflammation in an HDM/LPS‐induced mouse model. Mechanistically, BMDMs and alveolar epithelial cells from IL‐33‐ or ST2‐deficient mice tended to produce higher levels of the neutrophilic chemokine KC. Conclusions These results demonstrated that the IL‐33/ST2 axis may play a protective role in neutrophil‐dominant allergic airway inflammation.

Abstract
Background: Poor time in therapeutic range (TTR) control is associated with an increased risk of stroke and bleeding in atrial fibrillation (AF) patients receiving warfarin. This study aimed to determine whether the physician-pharmacist collaborative clinic (PPCC) model could improve the anticoagulation quality as well as to create a nomogram for predicting anticoagulation quality in AF patients. Methods: This retrospective observational study enrolled AF patients who either initially received warfarin or returned to warfarin after withdrawal between January 1, 2016 and January 1, 2021, at our institution. The primary outcome was dynamic changes in TTRs (a TTR of ≥60% considered high anticoagulation quality). The secondary outcomes were thromboembolic and bleeding events during follow-up. We compared the dynamic changes in TTRs between the general clinic (GC) and PPCC groups in both the original and propensity score matching (PSM) cohorts. In addition, we explored the potential predictors of high anticoagulation quality and subsequently formulated a nomogram to predict anticoagulation quality. Results: A total of 265 patients with AF were included, comprising 57 patients in the PPCC group and 208 patients in the GC group. During a median follow-up period of 203 days, the PPCC group had a shorter time (76 vs. 199 days, p < 0.001) and more patients achieved a TTR ≥60% (73.7 vs. 47.1%, p = 0.002 by log-rank test) than the GC group. The results from the PSM cohort confirmed this finding. No significant differences in the incidences of thromboembolic events (5.3 vs. 5.3%, p = 1.000) and bleeding events (4.3 vs. 3.5%, p = 1.000) were observed between the two groups. Four variables were explored as predictors related to high anticoagulation quality: treatment within a PPCC, history of bleeding, history of bleeding, and the presence of more than four comorbidities. The nomogram revealed a moderate predictive ability (c-index: 0.718, 95% confidence interval (95%CI): 0.669-0.767) and a moderately fitted calibration curve. Conclusion: The PPCC model contributed to improved anticoagulation quality in AF patients receiving warfarin. The nomogram might be an effective tool to predict anticoagulation quality and could aid physicians and pharmacists in the selection of patients who will likely benefit from sustained and active intervention.

Abstract
Excess heavy metals can lead to many kinds of adverse effects in human. The present study is designed to investigate whether the internal excess burden of heavy metals relate to the disturbance of the Blood-brain-barrier (BBB) and oxidative stress (OS) in subjects, and identify specific metallic constituents responsible for the disturbance. We collected the blood from recruited 122 subjects for our comparison study, 69 were living at an area near e-waste dismantling factories (exposed group), who have higher levels of heavy metals in the body; and others were in a chosen reference area (reference group), who were the general residents in city, in December 2017 in Taizhou, Zhejiang province. The analyses showed that the concentrations of altogether 4 metals, including nickel (Ni), cobalt (Co), mercury (Hg) and stannum (Sn), and the triggers of BBB disruption (Apolipoprotein E4 and matrix-metalloproteinase-9), indicators of BBB (Myelin basic protein, serotonin and dopamine) and biomarkers of OS (Malondialdehyde and 8-isoprostane) were statistically significant higher in exposed group than in reference group. Moreover, they are also significantly positively correlated with each other. Among all the metals, both Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression showed Co was positive correlated with almost all biomarkers. Considering the explicit correlation between Co and BBB permeability, we speculated that high burden of Co in blood may have a connection with neurodegenerative diseases, which propose a requirement for constructing the environmental criteria for Co and might provide a potential new hint for the intervention of dementia.

Abstract
The toxicity of heavy metals is one of the major public health issues leading to hazardous effects on humans. Many studies focus on the adverse effects on people who were working in or living near E-waste recycling. However, little is known to the sustaining effects of E-waste exposure on human health after the recycling factories were shut down. In the present study, we collected the blood of people living near E‑waste recycling facilities after the recycling factories were closed for 2 years. Eight heavy metals were examined in all blood samples. The results revealed that the blood levels of lead (Pb), nickel (Ni), cobalt (Co), mercury (Hg) were significantly higher in the exposed group than in the reference group, and no difference was observed for copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), stannum (Sn), cadmium (Cd). Transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) and alpha-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) were analyzed as the important indicators of fibrosis, which were statistically significantly higher in the exposed group than in the reference group. 8-isoprostane (8-I) and malondialdehyde (MDA) as the biomarkers of oxidative stress (OS) were elevated in the exposed group. Furthermore, both Spearman correlation and multiple linear regression showed that Co was positively correlated with TGF-β, α-SMA and 8-I in the exposed group. Accordingly, we speculate that high concentrations of Co dissolved in the blood may increase the risk of tissue fibrosis through stimulating myofibroblast activation and OS involve in the process, which may provide some potential new hints for the intervention for tissue fibrosis in the future.

Abstract
Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) is a common gram-negative bacterium. Imipenem (IMP) is considered to be the most effective clinical drug for the treatment of PA infection. IMP-resistant ceftazidime-susceptible PA is relatively rare in clinical practice; so far, there have been no clinical reports regarding the treatment of IMP-resistant PA with piperacillin/tazobactam alone. This paper will report the case of a severe pneumonia patient with IMP-resistant ceftazidime-susceptible PA infection that was successfully treated with piperacillin/tazobactam monotherapy after initial therapy with biapenem (BIP) according to the drug sensitivity test. The patient was a 75-year-old female, her main symptom was drowsiness. She was admitted to hospital due to acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) and pulmonary encephalopathy. After admission, endotracheal intubation was performed immediately, and the lavage fluid was sent to the laboratory for sputum culturing for several times. BIP was selected for the initial anti-infection regimen, and other symptomatic treatments were performed at the same time. On the day 8, the sputum culture drug sensitivity test results showed PA (sensitive to: piperacillin/tazobactam sodium, ceftazidime, aminoglycoside, and fluoroquinolones; resistant to IMP; and intermediate sensitivity to: cefoperazone-sulbactam and meropenem), so we adjusted the anti-infection regimen as piperacillin/tazobactam sodium. After that, the infection index of the patient declined steadily, and the patient was discharged from hospital after continuous treatment with piperacillin tazobactam until the 24th day. For severe pneumonia patients with IMP-resistant ceftazidime-susceptible PA infection, piperacillin/tazobactam is still an option specially when the MIC of piperacillin/tazobactam is very low.

Abstract
Background China proposed the Zero Markup Drug Policy (ZMDP), which popularized in tertiary hospitals across the country in 2017, to control drug expenditures’ rapid growth further and reduce the public’s medical burden. This study aims to evaluate the impact of ZMDP on the drug cost of chronic disease outpatients in the tertiary hospital in Chongqing. Methods We collected and described the drug-cost data for outpatients with chronic diseases in a Chongqing’s tertiary hospital from 2015 to 2019. The instantaneous and long-term changes of the outpatient volume and average drug cost after the ZMDP were evaluated using interrupted time series (ITS). We also analyzed the policy’s impact under the stratification of gender, age, and basic medical insurance types. Results A total of 350,848 outpatients were collected from January 2015 to February 2019. After the ZMDP, the outpatient volume for diabetes, hypertension, and coronary heart disease (CHD) all showed a downward trend, with a decrease of 53.04 (P = 0.012), 142.19 (P < 0.01) and 12.16 (P < 0.001) per month. Simultaneously, the average drug cost decreased by 4.44 yuan (P = 0.029), 5.87 yuan (P < 0.001) and 10.23 yuan (P = 0.036) per month, respectively. By gender, the average drug cost of diabetes in males had the most considerable instantaneous change, reducing by 51.21 yuan (P = 0.017); the decline of CHD in women is the most obvious, with an average monthly decrease of 12.51 yuan (P < 0.001). By age, the instantaneous change of CHD was the greatest for those older than 65 years old, with a decrease of 102.61 yuan (P = 0.030). CHD in 46–65 years old showed the most significant reduction, with an average monthly decline of 11.70 yuan (P < 0.01). BMIUE’s hypertension had the most considerable instantaneous change, which decreased 59.63 yuan (P = 0.010). BMIUE’s CHD showed the most apparent downward trend, with an average monthly decrease of 10.02 yuan (P = 0.010). Conclusion The ITS analysis is an effective method of health policy evaluation. The implementation of the ZMDP can reduce the drug cost for chronic disease outpatients in the tertiary hospital and their economic burden. Follow-up policies still require targeted price adjustments in the health service system to adjust the drug cost-effectively.

Abstract
The results demonstrated that pancreatic ductal carcinoma (PDAC) of the body/tail was associated with more transcriptional and genomic changes, and correlated with worse prognosis, than PDAC of the pancreatic head. The different mutation types and gene expression of tumour locations provide deep insight into the carcinogenesis or metastasis of PDAC, and suggest different early diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. Abstract
Lithium-rich layered oxide (LLO) cathode materials are considered to be one of the most promising next-generation candidates of cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries due to their high specific capacity. However, some inherent defects of LLOs hinder their practical application due to the oxygen loss and structure collapse resulting from intrinsic anion and cation redox reactions, such as poor cycle stability, sluggish Li+ kinetics, and voltage decay. Herein, we put forward a facile synergistic strategy to respond to these shortcomings of LLOs via dual-site doping with cerium (Ce) and boron (B) ions. The doped Ce ions occupy the octahedral sites, which not only enlarge the cell volume but also stabilize the layered framework and introduce abundant oxygen vacancies for LLOs, while B ions occupy the tetrahedral sites in the lattice, which block the migration path of transition metal (TM) ions and reduce the oxygen loss using the strong B-O bond. Based on this dual-site doping effect, after 100 cycles at 1 C, the dual-site doped materials exhibit excellent structural stability with a capacity retention of 91.15% (vs 75.12%) and also greatly suppress the voltage decay in LLOs with a voltage retention of 93.60% (vs 87.83%).

Abstract
BACKGROUND Oncostatin M (OSM) and leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) are two important pro-inflammatory cytokines of the interleukin-6 (IL-6) family. The two cytokines mediated signaling was recently found to be closely associated with cancer and chronic inflammation, which represent promising therapeutic targets for the treatment of many solid tumors and inflammatory disease. As the most closely related members, cross-reactivity of them may result in undesired activation of off-target cells, leading to toxicity or lack of efficacy of the therapeutic effects. However, the mechanism of the cross-reactivity of OSM and LIF is not well understood. METHODS In this work, protein-protein docking, molecular dynamics (MD) simulations with explicit solvent and post endpoints binding free energy (BFE) analysis were carried out to further understand the structural and energetic principles of interactions between the two cytokines and the shared receptor LIFR. RESULTS For the first time, the simulation given a computational model of OSM-LIFR interaction, and provided significant insights into the mechanism of OSM and LIF cross-react with LIFR. The identified common features shared by OSM and LIF bind to LIFR involving 10 "conserved" residues (90% similarity) distributed at the binding site III comprised of AB loop, BC loop and D helix. In addition, 11 shared residues were identified in LIFR contribute 77.85% and 84.63% energies for OSM and LIF binding, which play a critical role in the formation of the two cytokine-receptor complexes. Moreover, the "nonconserved" residues at the same position of cytokines such as Asp41 in OSM and Pro51 in LIF as well as the three residues (Glu338, Asn201 and Glu260) in LIFR were also discovered. CONCLUSIONS These important information may facilitate the rational design of novel chemical or biological agents with less toxicity and improved efficacy.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the safety and efficacy of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) in the clinical management of hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (HSCC). Methods: In this retrospective study, a total of 168 patients with pyriform sinus carcinoma in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from January 2015 to January 2019 were divided into two groups, based on the different perioperative interventions that patients received, i.e. the ERAS group (n=64) and the conventional group (n=104), including 164 males and 4 females, whose ages ranged from 42 to 84 years old. The difference between two groups in the operative time, postoperative nutritional status, incidences of postoperative complications and postoperative hospitalization time were compared using the student's t test, Chi-squared test or Fisher's exact test. Results: Compared with the conventional group, patients in the ERAS group had significantly shorter operative time [(166.8±58.2) min vs. (183.3±39.9) min,t=-2.72, P=0.031], higher levels of postoperative serum albumin [(38.3±4.2) μmol/L vs. (36.6±3.3) μmol/L, t=2.73, P=0.007] and more body weight [(65.4±9.4) kg vs. (62.1±9.4) kg, t=2.22, P=0.028], lower incidences of postoperative subcutaneous infection [7.8% (5/64) vs. 20.2% (21/104), χ²=4.64, P=0.03] and severe pneumonia [4.7% (3/64) vs. 15.4% (16/104), χ²=4.52, P=0.03], and shorter postoperative hospitalization time [(16.5±3.9) d vs. (18.2±4.3) d, t=-2.65, P<0.05]. Conclusion: ERAS is effective and safe in the surgical management of HSCC, with benefits in reducing the operative stress via saving operation time, shortening the hospitalization time, ameliorating nutritional status and decreasing the incidences of complications.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The long non-coding RNA DDX11 antisense RNA 1 (DDX11-AS1) was found to be highly expressed in gastric cancer (GC). This study was to explore the role and molecular mechanism in oxaliplatin (OXA) resistance. PATIENTS AND METHODS The levels of DDX11-AS1, microRNA-326 (miR-326) and insulin receptor substrate 1 (IRS1) were measured by quantitative Real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Cell proliferation, migration, invasion and apoptosis were examined by methylthiazolyldiphenyl-tetrazolium bromide (MTT), transwell and flow cytometry assays, respectively. Levels of all protein were detected using Western blot. The correlation between miR-326 and DDX11-AS1/IRS1 was confirmed by Dual-Luciferase reporter and RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) assays. The xenograft model was constructed to explore the effect of DDX11-AS1 in vivo. RESULTS DDX11-AS1 was overexpressed in OXA-resistant GC tissues and cells, and DDX11-AS1 knockdown inhibited cell proliferation, migration, invasion and OXA resistance, and promoted apoptosis in OXA-resistant GC cells. Mechanically, DDX11-AS1 directly targeted miR-326 and miR-326 could bind to IRS1 in OXA-resistant GC cells. Functionally, silencing DDX11-AS1 repressed the progression and OXA resistance in OXA-resistant GC cells by down-modulating IRS1 expression via sponging miR-326 in vitro and in vivo. CONCLUSIONS DDX11-AS1 accelerated the progression and OXA chemoresistance of GC cells in vitro and in vivo by sponging miR-326, thus increasing the expression of IRS1, suggesting DDX11-AS1 might be a promising prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target in GC.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the trend of premature death of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Wuxi from 2008 to 2018 and evaluate the influence of premature mortality probability caused by four main NCDs on life expectancy. Methods: Based on the mortality data collected by Wuxi Mortality Registration System and the population data collected by Wuxi Public Security Bureau during 2008-2018, this study analyzes the trend of the probability of premature death on malignant tumors, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, chronic respiratory diseases, and diabetes. The impact on life expectancy was analyzed by using the methods of abridged life table, Joinpoint regression, and life expectancy contribution decomposition. Results: From 2008 to 2018, the total probability of premature death of four main NCDs in Wuxi were declined consistently from 11.25% to 9.25% (AAPC = -2.0%, 95%CI: -2.6--1.5), higher in female (from 7.74% to 5.91%) than that in male (from 14.49% to 12.51%). The Wuxi resident's life expectancy increased by 1.86 years (from 78.66 to 80.52 years), in males and 1.26 years (from 83.85 to 85.11 years) in females, respectively. The decline of premature death of malignant tumors, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and chronic respiratory system diseases had a positive contribution to life expectancy, which contributed 0.34 years (23.90%), 0.15 years (10.50%), and 0.03 years (2.36%) to the life expectancy growth, respectively. Among which, premature death of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in men aged 40-55y had a negative contribution to life expectancy (-0.04 years). The probability of premature death of males with diabetes was on the rise (AAPC = 7.1%, 95%CI: 2.8-11.6), which negatively contributed to life expectancy for both males and females, reducing life expectancy by 0.03 years (-2.14%) in Wuxi. Conclusion: The premature death probability of four main NCDs in Wuxi declined consistently from 2008 to 2018, which played a positive role in the growth of life expectancy. Compared with females, males had a higher premature death probability and a slower rate of decline. More intervention and health management of premature male death on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and diabetes should be conducted to improve life expectancy further.

Abstract
Background: The management of patients receiving warfarin is complicated. This study evaluated the anticoagulation quality of warfarin, explored potential predictors associated with poor anticoagulation quality, and elucidated the role of clinical pharmacists in the management of warfarin treatment. Methods: We retrospectively collected data on patients who either initially received warfarin or returned to warfarin after withdrawal between January 1, 2015 and January 1, 2020. The primary outcome was time in therapeutic range (TTR), and a TTR of ≥60% was considered as good anticoagulation quality. The secondary outcomes included thromboembolic and bleeding events during the follow-up. We assessed the TTR of each participant and investigated the potential predictors of poor anticoagulation quality (TTR < 60%) using logistic regression analysis. Additionally, we compared the warfarin anticoagulant quality and the incidence of clinical adverse events between atrial fibrillation patients in physician-pharmacist collaborative clinics (PPCCs) and general clinics. Results: Totally, 378 patients were included. The mean TTR of patients was 42.6 ± 29.8%, with only 32% of patients having achieved good anticoagulation quality. During a mean follow-up period of 192 ± 92 days, we found no significant differences in the incidences of thromboembolic events (5.0% vs. 5.1%, p = 0.967) and bleeding events (1.7% vs. 4.7%, p = 0.241) between patients with good and those with poor anticoagulation quality. The presence of PPCCs (odds ratio [OR]: 0.47, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.25-0.90, p = 0.022) was an independent protective factor of poor anticoagulation quality, while the presence of more than four comorbidities (OR: 1.98, 95% CI: 1.22-3.24, p = 0.006) and an average interval of international normalized ratio monitoring of >30 days (OR: 1.74, 95% CI: 1.10-2.76, p = 0.019) were independent risk factors of poor anticoagulation quality. Compared with atrial fibrillation patients in general clinics, patients in PPCCs were found to have a significantly increased mean TTR level (48.4% ± 25.7% vs. 38.0% ± 27.6%, p = 0.014). Conclusion: The anticoagulation quality of warfarin was relatively low at our institution. The presence of more than four comorbidities and an average interval of international normalized ratio monitoring of >30 days independently contributed to poor anticoagulation quality. Meanwhile, the use of PPCC model improved the anticoagulation quality of warfarin.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Spinal cord injury (SCI) is the most serious complication of spinal injury, often leading to severe dysfunction of the limbs below the injured segment. Conventional therapy approaches are becoming less and less effective, and gene therapy is a new research direction by now. METHODS The Sprague-Dawley rats were haphazardly assigned to two groups, namely sham group and SCI model group, and lncRNA H19 and miR-370-3p levels were investigated using reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). Correlation between lncRNA H19 and miR-370-3p was ascertained by luciferase report assay and RT-qPCR. After transfection with si-H19, miR-370-3p inhibitor, negative controls (NC), or both, primary spinal neurons were subjected to the simulation of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) for inducing in vitro model of SCI. Cell viability, apoptotic rate, caspase-3 activity, Bax and Bcl-2 protein, ROS generation, TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 protein, as well as IκBα and p65 phosphorylation ratio were evaluated adopting 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT), apoptosis, caspase-3 activity, ROS generation, and western blot assays, thereby searching for the specific action mechanism on LPS-induced spinal never injury. RESULTS SCI resulted in lncRNA H19 higher expression and miR-370-3p lower expression. LPS simulation raised a series of cellular biological changes, such as decreased viability, promoted apoptosis, generated ROS, and released inflammatory factors. lncRNA H19 inhibition reversed above LPS-induced changes. Besides, as the downstream target of lncRNA H19, miR-370-3p was oppositely regulated by lncRNA H19. The above biological changes induced by lncRNA H19 inhibition were reversed by miR-370-3p upregulation. Moreover, lncRNA H19 inhibition could block NF-κB pathway through miR-370-3p upregulation. CONCLUSION Inhibition of lncRNA H19/miR-370-3p mitigated spinal neuron apoptosis in an in vitro model of SCI. This provided the possibility for clinical use of gene therapy.

Abstract
Asthma is considered as a general term for various chronic inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract. Growing evidences have supported that microRNAs were involved in mediating cell proliferation, migration, and other cellular functions. MiR-149 has been found to take part in the development of various cancers. However, whether miR-149 participated in the proliferation and migration of transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1)-induced airway smooth muscle cells was still unknown. In this study, the expression level of miR-149 in human airway smooth muscle cells (ASMCs) was decreased after TGF-β1 treatment in vitro. Additionally, the over-expression of miR-149 obviously suppressed proliferation and migration in human ASMCs. Besides, we found that overexpression of miR-149 could inhibit the expression of transient receptor potential melastatin 7 (TRPM7) both in protein and gene levels. Furthermore, we demonstrated that miR-149 could inhibit the cell proliferation and migration in human ASMCs by targeting TRPM7 through modulating mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) signaling pathway. Taken together, we strongly supported that miR-149 might be a key inhibitor of asthma by targeting TRMP7. Therefore, our finding suggests a promising biomarker for the development of further targeted therapies for asthma.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To quantitatively examine the relationship between social support and suicidal ideation (SI) among patients with cancer and identify the moderators that influence the magnitude of this association. METHODS Publications were searched in PubMed, PsycINFO, EMBASE, Cochrane Library and Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure from database inception to May, 2020. Correlation coefficients (r) were chosen as the effect size with a random model to evaluate the overall effect size between social support and SI in patients with cancer. To assess statistical heterogeneity, we examined potential moderator variables on the social support and SI. RESULTS A total of 881 studies were identified in initial search, and twelve studies were eligible. A negative, small but significant correlation (r = -0.22, 95% CIs: -0.30,-0.14, p < 0.001) was observed between social support and SI in patients with cancer, with a significant heterogeneity (I2 = 95.24%, Q = 231.27, p < 0.001). Moderator analyses indicated that race/ethnicity (Q(1) = 8.4, p < 0.05) and measurements of social support (Q(3) = 9.78, p < 0.05) and SI (Q(3) = 9.69, p < 0.05) significantly moderate the effect size between social support and SI. CONCLUSION Taken together, we found a negative yet significant association between social support and SI in patients with cancer, which supported the importance of social support for the prevention of SI in patients with cancer.

In this paper, a system dynamics (SD) model is described to analyse the impacts of two types of financing strategies on the needs of creditors, the government, and private investors, considering the dynamic and complex characteristics of infrastructure PPP projects. The proposed model has been implemented on a PPP highway project. A number of experiments were conducted over a 33-year strategic planning horizon as a means of assessing the long-term effects of different financing strategies. The experimental results reveal that the model is a useful tool that could support decision-makers in identifying the intervals with different management focus of financing risk and comparing different financing strategies to choose the optimal one. It is especially helpful for the government to select a financing strategy for infrastructure PPP projects with capital limitations.
