Abstract
UNLABELLED
We present a case of 63-year-old male with hypertension and hyperlipidaemia, who was an athlete in the "masters category". Because of interaction between amlodipine and simvastatin, in combination with physical activity, the patient reported: muscle pain, weakness of the muscles, dizziness, and confusion. After amlodipine and simvastatin discontinuation, all symptoms resolved rapidly.
