Abstract
Objective:To understand the expression of LINC00460 in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), and to discuss the role of LINC00460 in carcinogenesis and development of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma. Method:The expression of LINC00460 in 68 laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma tissues and paired adjacent normal tissues were examined by real-time PCR. The relationship between the expression levels of LINC00460 and the clinicopathological features including clinical stage, histological grade, pathological type, and lymph node metastasis in LSCC was analyzed according to the clinical data. Result:The expression of LINC00460 was significantly upregulated in the LSCC tissue compared with that of adjacent normal mucosal tissue (P=0.006). There were no statistical differences of the quantity of LINC00460 expression among supraglottic, glottic and subglottic LSCC (P>0.05). Moreover, LINC00460 had no significant changes in poorly differentiated LSCC when compared with that of well and moderately differentiated LSCC (P>0.05). Furthermore, the expression of LINC00460 in LSCC with lymph node metastasis had no significant changes when compared with that without of lymph node metastasis (P>0.05). Notably, LINC00460 expression in T1+T2 stages patients were significantly lower than T3+T4 stages (P<0.05). Conclusiont:Upregulation of long non-coding RNA LINC00460 might contribute to the carcinogenesis and development of LSCC, furthermore play important biological function.

Abstract
Objective: To establish a rat model of paraquat (PQ) -induced pulmonary fibrosis and observe the changes in thrombospondin-1 (TSP-1) and its receptor CD47 in lung tissue, and to investigate their roles in the pathogenesis of PQ-induced pulmonary fibrosis. Methods: Fifty-four clean adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into normal control group (n=6) and 2 h, 12 h, 1 d, 3 d, 7 d, and 14 d PQ poisoning groups (n=8 per group). A rat model of PQ poisoning was established by a single gavage of 20 wt.% PQ solution (50 mg/kg). Flow cytometry was used to determine the concentration of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in blood and lung tissue. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to determine the concentrations of hydroxyl radicals, malondialdehyde, and hydroxyproline in lung tissue. HE staining and Masson staining were used to observe the pathological damage of lung tissue after PQ poisoning. The expression of TSP-1 and CD47 in lung tissue was measured by Immunohistochemistry. Results: Compared with the normal control group, the 2 h to 7 d PQ poisoning groups showed significant increases in ROS fluorescence intensity in red blood cells and lung tissues and the concentrations of malondialdehyde and hydroxyl radicals in lung tissue (P<0.05) , and the 14 d PQ poisoning group had a significant increase in the concentration of hydroxyproline in lung tissue (P<0.05). HE staining showed that the 2 h to 7 d PQ poisoning groups had significantly higher semiquantitative pathological scores of pulmonary alveolitis than the normal control group (P<0.05). The Masson staining showed that the 7 d and 14 d PQ poisoning groups had significantly higher semiquantitative pathological scores of pulmonary fibrosis than the normal control group (P<0.05). Compared with the normal control group, all PQ poisoning groups (except the 12 h group) had significantly increased expression of TSP-1 in lung tissue (P<0.05) , and all PQ poisoning groups (except the 1 d group) had significantly increased expression of CD47 in lung tissue (P<0.05). Within 2 h after PQ poisoning, the expression of TSP-1 and CD47 was positively correlated with the concentrations of ROS, hydroxyl radicals, and malondialdehyde and the degree of pulmonary alveolitis (P<0.01) ; at 1 d after PQ poisoning, the expression of TSP-1 and CD47 was positively correlated with the concentration of hydroxyproline in lung tissue (P<0.01) . Conclusion: The expression of TSP-1 and CD47 is closely related to oxidative stress and subsequent pulmonary fibrosis, and they may be involved in the development and progression of pulmonary alveolitis and subsequent pulmonary fibrosis in rats with PQ poisoning.

Abstract
Based on the charge exchange reaction between fast ions and a neutral beam, fast ion features can be inferred from the spectrum of Doppler-shifted Balmer-alpha light from energetic hydrogenic atoms. In order to study the interaction between instabilities and fast-ion transport, recently we extended the fast ion D-alpha (FIDA) measurements by using a combination of a bandpass filter and a photomultiplier tube (PMT) (f-FIDA). A bandpass filter selects the desired spectral band from 651 nm to 654 nm before detection by the PMT. Preliminary data from the EAST tokamak show that the active signals have been detected from reneutralized beam ions along the vertical and tangential viewing geometries. The details will be presented in this paper to primarily address the specifications and performance of f-FIDA hardware components and preliminary FIDA measurements.

Abstract
The scintillator-based detector for fast-ion loss measurements has been installed on EAST. To obtain high temporal resolution for fast-ion loss diagnostics, fast photomultiplier tube systems have been developed which can supply the complementary measurements to the previous image system with good energy and pitch resolution by using a CCD camera. By applying the rotatable platform, the prompt losses of beam-ions can be measured in normal and reverse magnetic field. The thick-target bremsstrahlung occurring in the stainless steel shield with energetic electrons can produce X-rays, which will strike on the scintillator based detector. To understand this interference on fast-ion loss signals, the effects of energetic electrons on the scintillator-based detector are studied, including runaway electrons in the plasma ramping-up phase and fast electrons accelerated by the lower hybrid wave.

Abstract
Nucleosome positioning is critical to chromatin accessibility and is associated with gene expression programs in cells1-3. Previous nucleosome mapping methods assemble profiles from cell populations and reveal a cell-averaged pattern: nucleosomes are positioned and form a phased array that surrounds the transcription start sites of active genes3-6 and DNase I hypersensitive sites7. However, even in a homogenous population of cells, cells exhibit heterogeneity in expression in response to active signalling8,9 that may be related to heterogeneity in chromatin accessibility10-12. Here we report a technique, termed single-cell micrococcal nuclease sequencing (scMNase-seq), that can be used to simultaneously measure genome-wide nucleosome positioning and chromatin accessibility in single cells. Application of scMNase-seq to NIH3T3 cells, mouse primary naive CD4 T cells and mouse embryonic stem cells reveals two principles of nucleosome organization: first, nucleosomes in heterochromatin regions, or that surround the transcription start sites of silent genes, show large variation in positioning across different cells but are highly uniformly spaced along the nucleosome array; and second, nucleosomes that surround the transcription start sites of active genes and DNase I hypersensitive sites show little variation in positioning across different cells but are relatively heterogeneously spaced along the nucleosome array. We found a bimodal distribution of nucleosome spacing at DNase I hypersensitive sites, which corresponds to inaccessible and accessible states and is associated with nucleosome variation and variation in accessibility across cells. Nucleosome variation is smaller within single cells than across cells, and smaller within the same cell type than across cell types. A large fraction of naive CD4 T cells and mouse embryonic stem cells shows depleted nucleosome occupancy at the de novo enhancers detected in their respective differentiated lineages, revealing the existence of cells primed for differentiation to specific lineages in undifferentiated cell populations.

Abstract
BACKGROUND A growing number of studies have suggested that the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs662 (G>A) in paraoxonase 1 (PON1) is significantly associated with susceptibility to coronary heart disease (CHD) in the Chinese population. To further evaluate the effects of the PON1 RS662 (G>A) polymorphism on the risk of CHD, we performed a meta-analysis in a Chinese population. METHODS PubMed, Embase, Wanfang Data, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) were searched to identify eligible studies. Pooled odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used to evaluate the strength of the associations between RS662 (G>A) and CHD. RESULT In the meta-analysis, we identified 14 articles, including a total of 4835 CHD patients and 5111 controls in the Chinese population. Our result showed that overall rs662 (G>A) was significantly associated with susceptibility to CHD in the Chinese population when compared with healthy controls. Furthermore, a G allele suggested an elevated risk of CHD. In the subgroup analyses stratified by ethnicity and geographic areas, significant associations were found in Chinese Han and South China, but not in North China. CONCLUSION The present meta-analysis suggests that rs662 (G>A) SNP in PON1 is associated with CHD risk; the G allele might be the risk allele for CHD susceptibility in the Chinese population. However, more research is required to make a definite conclusion.

Abstract
The aberrant activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signal has an important role in the progression of cancers. Herein, we investigated β-catenin mutation and the activation of the Wnt pathway in association with the clinical-pathological characteristics, chemo-resistance and prognosis of NK/T-cell lymphoma (NKTCL). Real-time quantitative PCR, immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry SP methods detected the levels of β-catenin, c-myc and cyclin D1 in human NKTCL cell lines (SNK-6 and YTS) and NKTCL tissues. Mutation analysis was detected in exon 3 of β-catenin gene; and we analyzed cell viability after histone deacetylase inhibitor (HDACi) treatment. As a result, 19 (38%) of NK/T-cell lymphoma displayed nuclear β-catenin and 16 (32%) contained mutations in exon 3; while no mutations were detected in lymphomas negative for β-catenin nuclear staining (p<0.05). Most mutations affecting β-catenin were adjacent to regulatory phosphorylation sites. β-catenin, c-myc and cyclin D1 were significantly elevated in SNK-6 and YTS cell lines compared to normal NK/T cells (p<0.05). Furthermore, the high expression of β-catenin, c-myc and cyclin D1 significantly correlated with the III/IV Ann Arbor stage. Additionally, the expression of β-catenin in the SNK-6 cell line decreased significantly after treatment with HDACi, and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis revealed that the elevated expression of β-catenin correlated with poor prognosis in NKTCL patients (23.66±2.77 months vs 31.65±1.78 months, p=0.023). In conclusion: mutations in exon 3 of β-catenin and the activated Wnt pathway are common in NK/T-cell lymphoma that has nuclear β-catenin, and it is closely correlated with the Ann Arbor stage and prognosis in NKTCL patients.

Abstract
In order to clone the peafowl (Pavo cristatus) Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) gene and study its biological function, the peafowl TLR7 coding sequences (CDS) were amplified by PCR of cDNA from the whole spleen of peafowl. The full-length sequence of the peafowl TLR7 gene CDS is 3,141 bp and encodes a 1,046-amino acid protein with a classic TLR composition of 16 leucine-rich repeats (LRR). Insertions of amino acids were found at position 15 of LRR2, LRR5, LRR7, LRR9, LRR11, LRR12, LRR14, and LRR15; and position 10 of LRR11. Reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis showed that the peafowl TLR7 gene was highly expressed in lymphoid tissues of the spleen, bursa, bone marrow, lung, and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). HEK293T cells were transfected with a peafowl TLR7 plasmid, and functional analysis showed that peafowl TLR7 could respond to R848, leading to activation of NF-κB. Following R848 stimulation or Newcastle disease virus infection of peafowl PBMC, the levels of IL-1β, IFN-γ, CCLi2, and TGF-β4 mRNA, assessed by quantitative real-time PCR, increased significantly. Triggering peafowl TLR7 results in upregulation of inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, suggesting that peafowl TLR7 plays an important role in the innate immune response.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy, acceptability, and
tolerability of antidepressants in treating post-stroke depression (PSD) by
performing a network meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials of the
current literature. Eligible studies were retrieved from online databases, and
relevant data were extracted. The primary outcome was efficacy as measured by
the mean change in overall depressive symptoms. Secondary outcomes included
discontinued treatment for any reason and specifically due to adverse events.
Fourteen trials were eligible, which included 949 participants and 9
antidepressant treatments. Few significant differences were found for all
outcomes. For the primary outcome, doxepin, paroxetine, and nortriptyline were
significantly more effective than a placebo [standardized mean differences:
−1.93 (95%CI=−3.56 to −0.29), −1.39 (95%CI=−2.59 to −0.21), and −1.25
(95%CI=−2.46 to −0.04), respectively]. Insufficient evidence exists to select a
preferred antidepressant for treating patients with post-stroke depression, and
our study provides little evidence that paroxetine may be the potential choice
when starting treatment for PSD. Future studies with paroxetine and larger
sample sizes, multiple medical centers, and sufficient intervention durations is
needed for improving the current evidence.

Abstract
Interleukin-22 (IL-22) is involved in the development of lymphocytes and serves as a rapid and early source of the effector cytokines that are released in response to pathogen-induced changes in the microenvironment. Recent research has implicated IL-22 as a potential contributing factor to the spectrum of inflammation-related pancreatic diseases, particularly pancreatitis, fibrosis, carcinoma and diabetes. In this review, we summarize the current knowledge on the roles of IL-22 in the various pancreatic pathogenesis, providing insights into the underlying cellular and signaling mechanisms that will help guide future research into promising interventional targets with therapeutic potential.

Abstract
Objective: To determine the relative percentage of skeletal muscle mass (SMM) in elderly patients with coronary heart disease, analyse the relationship between percentage of SMM and cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF), predict exercise capacity and cardiac reserve. Methods: Patients aged 65 years and over after PCI, receiving cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) during February 2014 to December 2016 in Department of Cardiology at Peking University Third Hospital were enrolled. All patients' basic data, percentage of SMM and CPET related parameters, including peak oxygen uptake (VO(2)peak), oxygen pulse (VO(2)/HR), oxygen uptake efficiency slope (OUES) and other cardiorespiratory endurance indicators were collected, to do correlation analysis. Results: There were 402 patients enrolled, with average age (71±5) years, including 283 cases of male (70.40%) and 119 cases of female patients (29.60%). There were 62 patients with acute myocardial infarction (15.42%), 113 patients with old myocardial infarction (28.11%), and 227 patients diagnosed with angina pectoris (56.47%). The percentage of SMM was correlated to CRF.The percentage of SMM[97.00 (92.05, 102.10)%] and VO(2)/HR (r=0.231, P<0.001) and OUES (r=0.264, P<0.001) were positively correlated.Body mass index was negatively correlated with VO(2)peak(r=-0.162, P=0.001). Visceral fat area (VFA) was also negatively correlated with VO(2)peak(r=-0.126, P=0.016). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that Body mass index and VFA were negatively correlated with VO(2)peak (r=-0.204, P=0.014; r=-0.031, P=0.013). The percentage of SMM was positively independently correlated with OUES(r=11.020, P<0.001). Conclusions: Muscle content is positively correlated with exercise capacity of patients. The percentage of skeletal muscle mass determines the core index of cardiorespiratory fitness, such as the slope of oxygen pulse and oxygen uptake efficiency. These indexes can be used as an important criterion for predicting and guiding rehabilitation exercise in patients with coronary heart disease.

Abstract
Objective: To determine the early recognizable factors related to patients with fulminant myocarditis. Methods: Medical records from 60 adult patients who were diagnosed with acute viral myocarditis from January 2003 to September 2016 in our hospital were retrospectively reviewed, and divided into the fulminant group (n=9) and the non-fulminant group (n=51). Clinical presentations, biochemical markers, electrocardiography and echocardiography features on admission were analyzed. Results: Prevalence of syncope (33.3%(3/9) vs. 2.0% (1/51), P=0.009) and fatigue (77.8% (7/9) vs. 21.6% (11/51) , P=0.002) was significantly higher, while the duration from flu-like syndromes to chest discomfort was shorter ((2.0±1.8) days vs. (4.5±3.5) days, P=0.041) in the fulminant group than that in the non-fulminant group. Systolic blood pressare (SBP) ((94±14) mmHg(1 mmHg=0.133 kPa) vs. (117±12)mmHg, P=0.001) and left ventricular ejection fraction((49±12)% vs. (60±13)%, P=0.016) were significantly lower, while heart rate ((99±20)bpm vs. (84±19)bpm, P=0.040) and NT-proBNP concentration ((7 962 (1 470, 23 849) ng/L vs. 1 771 (45, 2 380) ng/L, P=0.000) were significantly higher in the fulminant group than those in the non-fulminant group. PR interval was longer (199 (140, 416) ms vs. 156 (112, 204) ms, P=0.021), QRS complex was wider ((127±14)ms vs. (95±13)ms, t=-6.647, P<0.001) in the fulminant group than those in the non-fulminant group. Prolonged QRS duration≥120 ms was more often in fulminant group (77.8%(7/9) vs. 5.9%(3/51), P=0.000). Multivariate analysis revealed that PR interval (adjusted odd ratio 1.044, 95%CI 1.005-1.084, P=0.025) and QRS complex width (adjusted odd ratio 1.252, 95%CI 1.045-1.501, P=0.015) were the independent risk factors significantly associated with fulminant myocarditis. Conclusions: The risk of a fulminant course of acute myocarditis is higher in patients with elevated NT-proBNP, reduced left ventricular ejection fraction, and conduction disturbances at admission. Prolonged PR interval and widened QRS complex on admission are independent risk factors for developing fulminant myocarditis in adult patients with acute viral myocarditis.

Abstract
Objective: To explore a standard procedure for the treatment of combined dorsal and palmar internal fixation for complex four part distal radius fractures and assess its clinical results. Methods: From May 2009 to October 2016, 38 patients(39 sides)who suffered from complex four part distal radius fractures were performed operatively with open reduction and internal fixation via combined dorsal and palmar approach in Department of Orthopaedic Trauma, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University(Qingdao). The series included 22 males(22 sides) and 16 females(17 sides). Age of the patients was 53.5 years ranging from 25 to 79 years.According to Melone classification, there were 34 sides of type of Ⅳ, 5 of type Ⅴ.According to Frykman classification, there were 15 sides of type Ⅶ, 24 sides of type Ⅷ, and all the cases were type C3 according to AO/OTA classification.Preoperatively, the key articular fragments in four part distal radius fractures were identified and the individual fracture patterns from conventional X-ray and CT-scan were analyzed. All the patients were performed combined volar and dorsal fixation.Firstly, a palmar approach which gave access to and fix the palmar-ulnar fragment and the radial styloid fragment was performed. Then a limited dorsal approach across the third extensor compartment which gave access to the dorso-ulnar fragment and a limited dorsal arthrotomy to visualize the radiocarpal joint when necessary were performed.Through dorsal approach, we can address the dorso-ulnar fragment, free intra-articular fragment and direct visualize the joint.Use of a retinacular flap was routinely advocated to help prevent against tendon irritation and rupture. The follow-up control included conventional X-ray, range of motion(ROM), grip strength, and the disabilities of the arm, shoulder and hand index(DASH), as well as the patient-rated wrist evaluation(PRWE) score for functional outcome at 6 and 12 months. Results: Thirty-three patients(34 sides) were followed up for at least 12 months. The would healed well in all cases 2 weeks postoperatively, and no soft tissue infections, necrosis or neurovascular complications occurred. All the fractures of 38 cases(39 sides)healed averaged 3.6 months(ranging from 2.5-5.7 months), and no loss of reduction occurred postoperatively.Anatomic reconstruction with a step or gap of <1 mm was achieved in 37 cases(38 sides), Whereas 5 patients were lost to follow-up at 12 months postoperatively.ROM and grip strength were all recovered to over 85% of the unaffected side(exception of the bilateral patient). Median DASH-index and PRWE were 6.5(0-17) and 9.3(0-20)respectively. Conclusion: Combined volar and dorsal approaches allow achieving anatomic reconstruction in complex four part intra-articular distal radius fractures and reveal good functional outcomes at intermediate follow-up.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effectiveness of preemptive analgesia with loxoprofen sodium orally, which was a kind of non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs, in extractions of mandibular impacted third teeth. METHODS There were questionnaires about postoperative pain for patients whose mandibular impacted third teeth were extracted from July 2017 to August 2017 in First Clinical Division of Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology. All the patients did their routine clinical examinations and imaging examinations. After their mandibular impacted third teeth were extracted, the questionnaires were sent to them. The questionnaires were filled in by the patients on their own and returned one week later. There were 120 questionnaires that were sent and 105 questionnaires returned, of which 98 questionnaires were filled in completely. According to the inclusive criteria and exclusion criteria, 66 questionnaires were totally selected in this study. According to the time when the patients took their loxoprofen sodium orally firstly, the patients were divided into 3 groups. The first group was for patients who didn't take loxoprofen sodium during their extractions (non-medicine group). The second group was for patients who took 60 mg loxoprofen sodium 30 min before their extractions (preoperative group). The third group was for patients who took 60 mg loxoprofen sodium 30 min after their extractions (postoperative group). The operation time among the 3 groups was analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis method. The postoperative time points were 2, 4, 12,24 and 48 h after operation. The scores of visual analogue scales (VAS) for postoperative pain in each group at different postoperative time points were analyzed by Friedman method. At each postoperative time point, VAS scores in the different groups were analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis me-thod. The numbers of the patients taking loxoprofen sodium home and drug adverse reactions were also analyzed. RESULTS The operation time of the 3 groups was 15.0 (5.0,30.0) min and had no significant differences (P=0.848).VAS scores of non-medicine group 2,4, 12,24 and 48 h after operation were 1.75 (0.1,10.0), 6.25 (1.5,10.0), 2.00 (0.1,8.0), 2.00 (0.1,6.0) and 0.5 (0.1,5.5) separately and had significant differences (P<0.001).The VAS score at 4 h after operation was higher than the VAS scores at other time points after operation (P<0.005). Four hours after the operations, the VAS scores of preoperative group [2.0 (0.1,10.0)] and postoperative group [2.0 (0.1,5.0)] were lower significantly than those of non-medicine group [6.25 (1.5,10.0)] (P<0.001).The numbers of the patients taking loxoprofen sodium home were 9(40.9%) in non-medicine group,5(21.8%) in preoperative group and 7(33.3%) in postoperative group. The number of the patients who had drug adverse reactions in preoperative group (n=3,13.0%) and in postoperative group (n=4,19.0%) was less than the number of the patients who had drug adverse reactions in non-medicine group (n=8,36.4%). CONCLUSION There were two protocols of preemptive analgesia with loxoprofen sodium orally in extractions of mandibular impacted third teeth, which were taking 60 mg loxoprofen sodium orally 30 min before the extractions and taking 60 mg loxoprofen sodium orally 30 min after the extractions. Both of the two preemptive analgesia protocols could decrease the postoperative pain significantly.

Abstract
We report the observation of a controlled Landau-Zener transition (LZT) in Rydberg atoms by breaking the symmetry of the underlying Hamiltonian. For a nonhydrogenic Rydberg atom inside a changing electric (F) field, a LZT occurs between the avoided crossing energy levels of neighboring Rydberg states only for a sufficiently high changing rate. If a transverse magnetic (B) field is applied as we implement, the atomic level symmetry is broken, which causes the Stark manifolds denoted by a different |m| (m is the magnetic quantum number) to interact with each other. The mixed state levels end up pushing the adiabatically repelled target states closer and additionally they serve as stepping stones for the sequential LZTs between the neighboring sublevels. Such a feature significantly decreases the changing rate required for an efficient LZT inside a pure electric field. We report experimental observations that support the above scenario. It opens a versatile approach for engineering a controlled LZT in more general systems.

Abstract
The expression or dysfunction of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) is closely related to various hereditary diseases, autoimmune diseases, metabolic diseases and tumors. LncRNAs were also recently recognized as functional regulators of fibrosis, which is a secondary process in many of these diseases and a primary pathology in fibrosis diseases. We review the latest findings on lncRNAs in fibrosis diseases of the liver, myocardium, kidney, lung and peritoneum. We also discuss the potential of disease-related lncRNAs as therapeutic targets for the clinical treatment of human fibrosis diseases.

Abstract
Interleukin-22 (IL-22) is a recently identified regulator of inflammation, but little is known about its role in liver transplantation. Therefore, in this study, we explored the roles and the underlying mechanisms of IL-22 in acute allograft rejection by using a rat allogeneic liver transplantation model. Results showed that allograft liver transplantation led to damage of the parent liver and to significantly increased IL-22 expression in the allograft liver and plasma of the recipient rats compared with the rats who received isografts. Moreover, the significantly increased IL-22 expression was accompanied by markedly increased level of phospho-STAT3 in the allogeneic liver tissues after transplantation. Of note, neutralization of the IL-22 protein in recipient rats significantly worsened the function of the allograft liver at 1 day post-transplantation (ischemia-reperfusion injury, IRI) but improved the function at 7 days post-transplantation (acute rejection, AR). At IRI stage, IL-22 protected liver function through the increase of anti-apoptosis and pro-regeneration cytokines. However, IL-22 led to the increase of pro-inflammation factors at AR stage, accompanied by the marked increase of the Th17 and the marked decrease of Treg cells in allograft recipient rats through modulating the expression of chemokines for different cell types, which however were reversed by in vivo IL-22 neutralization. Results indicate the dual roles of IL-22 and suggest the differential potential clinical application of IL-22 at different stage of allograft liver transplantation.
