Abstract
Finding the DNA of the human immune deficiency virus (HIV) with simple and sensitive detection is the main challenge in early diagnosis of AIDS. Herein, two-point separation strategies based on the colorimetric and fluorescence are introduced. The naked-eye qualitative and semiquantitative colorimetric, and also accuracy fluorescence quantification of HIV-1 DNA were applied using label-free NiFe2O4@UiO-66 nanozyme with both functions of peroxidase-mimetic like and emitting fluorescence. The DNA probe-conjugated nanozyme is employed to hybridize a sequence of HIV-1. NiFe2O4@UiO-66 nanozymes catalyze the decomposition of H2O2 to •OH which can produce a remarkable fluorescent product 2-hydroxyterephthalic acid (TAOH) by the oxidation of the bridging ligand of weakly fluorescent terephthalic acid (TA). The accessibility of H2O2 toward confined-NiFe2O4 MNPs was reduced by increasing the HIV-1 target DNA concentration, resulting in the fluorescence intensity of TAOH being decreased. Meanwhile, remaining the unreacted H2O2 was transferred an acidic colorimetric solution containing FeSO4 and gold nanorods (AuNRs). Increasing the amount of H2O2 available for longitudinal etching of AuNRs due to •OH-generating Fe+2-catalyzed H2O2 is reponsible for different colors from brownish to colorless depending on the HIV-1 target DNA concentration. The fluorescence intensity and obtained colors have offered the sensitive biosensing methods with a linear range from 0.05 to 300 and 1-200 pM, respectively with a detection limit as low as 1 fM. Our study revealed that the applied sensing assay provides a cost-effective and straightforward qualitative, semiquantitative, and sensitive quantitation visible monitoring without the necessity of high-end instruments for HIV-1 detection in a human blood plasma/serum samples.

Abstract
Nanodevices, harvesting the power of synthetic catalysts and enzymes to perform enantioselective synthesis inside cell, have never been reported. Here, we synthesized round bottom jar-like silica nanostructures (SiJARs) with a chemo-responsive metal-silicate lid. This was isolated as an intermediate structure during highly controlled solid-state nanocrystal-conversion at the arc-section of silica shell. Different catalytic noble metals (Pt, Pd, Ru) were selectively modified on the lid-section through galvanic reactions. And, lid aperture-opening was regulated by mild acidic conditions or intracellular environment which accommodated the metal nanocrystals and enzymes, and in turn created an open-mouth nanoreactor. Distinct from the free enzymes, SiJARs performed asymmetric aldol reactions with high activity and enantioselectivity (yield >99 %, ee=95 %) and also functioned as the artificial catalytic organelles inside living cells. This work bridges the enormous potential of sophisticated nanocrystal-conversion chemistry and advanced platforms for new-to-nature catalysis.

Abstract
A solid amino-supported palladium catalyst is used in an oxidative domino reaction for the diastereoselective construction of alkyne-substituted cyclopentenol compounds. This heterogeneous catalyst exhibits high efficiency and excellent chemoselectivity, as well as good recyclability. The chemoselectivity of the domino reactions was readily controlled by switching the solvent and catalyst. Asymmetric syntheses and an oxidative carbocyclization-borylation reaction have also been developed based on the heterogeneous palladium catalyst.

Abstract
Ceramides and their analogs have a regulatory effect on inflammatory cytokines expression. It was found that a kind of ceramides analog synthesized from phenylglycinol could inhibit the production of cytokine TNF-α. However, two active hydrogen groups are present in the phenylglycinol molecule. It is difficult to control the process without hydroxyl group protection to dominantly produce amide in the traditional chemical synthesis. A selective catalytic the amidation route of phenylglycinol by lipases was investigated in this research. The results indicated that the commercial immobilized lipase Novozym 435 has the best regio-selectivity on the amide group. Based on the experimental results and in silico simulation, it was found that the mechanism of specific N-acyl selectivity of lipase was not only from intramolecular migration and proton shuttle mechanism, but also from the special structure of active site of enzyme. The optimal reaction yield of aromatic amide compound in a solvent-free system with lipase loading of 15 wt% (to the weight of total substrate) reached 89.41 ± 2.8% with very few of byproducts detected (0.21 ± 0.1% ester and 0.64 ± 0.2% diacetylated compound). Compare to other reported works, this work have the advantages such as low enzyme loading, solvent free, and high N-acylation selectivity. Meanwhile, this Novozym 435 lipase based synthesis method has an excellent regio-selectivity on most kinds of amino alcohol compounds. Compared to the chemical method, the enzymatic synthesis exhibited high regio-selectivity, and conversion rates. The method could be a promising alternative strategy for the synthesis of aromatic alkanolamides.

Abstract
Water is an essential substance for life on earth and for all living things. Plants and animals need almost pure water to live; if it is contaminated with harmful chemicals and micro organisms, it will be impossible for them to survive. This study has tried to investigate the performance of catalyst to reduce nitro-aromatic combinations in the attendance of NaBH4 solution duo to the hydrogen source. TEMPO@FeNi3/DFNS–laccase MNPs was prepared, and its features were reviewed using SEM, TEM, XRD, TGA, VSM, AFM, and FTIR. Then, its strength as a nanocatalyst for removal of nitro-aromatic combinations was tested in contact time, initial concentration, the effects of pH and nanocatalyst amount was study. The results of this research proved that TEMPO@FeNi3/DFNS–laccase MNPs has a good return in removal of nitro-aromatic combinations, as its easy synthesis and reliable recovery. Abstract
A highly selective and efficient oxidative carbocyclization/borylation of enallenols catalyzed by palladium immobilized on amino-functionalized siliceous mesocellular foam (Pd-AmP-MCF) was developed for diastereoselective cyclobutenol synthesis. The heterogeneous palladium catalyst can be recovered and recycled without any observed loss of activity or selectivity. The high diastereoselectivity of the reaction is proposed to originate from a directing effect of the enallenol hydroxyl group. Optically pure cyclobutenol synthesis was achieved by the heterogeneous strategy by using chiral enallenol obtained from kinetic resolution.

Abstract
Multi-catalytic cascade reactions bear a great potential to minimize downstream and purification steps, leading to a drastic reduction of the produced waste. In many examples, the compatibility of chemo- and biocatalytic steps could be easily achieved. Problems associated with the incompatibility of the catalysts and their reactions, however, are very frequent. Cascade-like reactions can hardly occur in this way. One possible solution to combine, in principle, incompatible chemo- and biocatalytic reactions is the defined control of the microenvironment by compartmentalization or scaffolding. Current methods for the control of the microenvironment of biocatalysts go far beyond classical enzyme immobilization and are thus believed to be very promising tools to overcome incompatibility issues and to facilitate the synthetic application of cascade reactions. In this Minireview, we will summarize recent synthetic examples of (chemo)enzymatic cascade reactions and outline promising methods for their spatial control either by using bio-derived or synthetic systems.

Abstract
The use of the mixed catalytic system with several enzymes can provide multiple benefits in terms of the cost, simplification of a multistep reaction, and effectiveness of complex chemical reactions. Although study of different enzyme coimmobilization systems has attracted increasing attention in recent years, separately immobilizing enzymes which can not coexist on one support is still one of the great challenges. In this paper, a simple and effective strategy was introduced to separately encapsulate incompatible trypsin and transglutaminase (TGase) into different poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) network layer grafted on low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film via visible light induced living photografting polymerization. As a proof of concept, this dual-enzyme separately loaded film was used to catalyze the synthesis of a new target antitumor drug LTV-azacytidine. The final results demonstrated that this strategy could maintain higher activities of both enzymes than the mixed coimmobilization method. And the mass spectra analysis results demonstrated that LTV-azacytidine was successfully synthesized. We believe that this facile and mild separately immobilizing incompatible enzyme strategy has great application potential in the field of biocatalysis.

Abstract
Herein, we describe the use of Pd nanoparticles immobilized on an amino-functionalized siliceous mesocellular foam for the catalytic oxidation of H2O. The Pd nanocatalyst proved to be capable of mediating the four-electron oxidation of H2O to O2, both chemically and photochemically. The Pd nanocatalyst is easy to prepare and shows high chemical stability, low leaching, and recyclability. Together with its promising catalytic activity, these features make the Pd nanocatalyst of potential interest for future sustainable solar-fuel production.

Abstract
Deracemization, that is, the transformation of a racemate into a single product enantiomer with theoretically 100% conversion and 100% ee, is an appealing but also challenging option for asymmetric synthesis. Herein a novel chemo-enzymatic deracemization concept by a cascade is described: the pathway involves two enantioselective oxidation steps and one non-stereoselective reduction step, enabling stereoinversion and a simultaneous kinetic resolution. The concept was exemplified for the transformation of rac-benzylisoquinolines to optically pure (S)-berbines. The racemic substrates were transformed to optically pure products (ee>97%) with up to 98% conversion and up to 88% yield of isolated product.
