Abstract
AbstractA dysprosium(iii) organic framework, {[Dy(H2O)(BTCTB)]·2H2O}n (1, H3BTCTB = 3,3′,3′′-[1,3,5-benzenetriyltris(carbonylimino)]tris-benzoic acid), was synthesized through the hydrothermal reaction of Dy(NO3)3 with the C3-symmetric organic ligand H3BTCTB at 160°C for 96 h. At the same time, the sensitivity of picric acid in water medium was tested with material 1 as the fluorescent sensor. The detection limit was 0.71 µM and KSV of this experiment was 8.55 × 104 M−1, which might be attributed to the presence of abundant amide groups in the framework of 1. In addition, the treatment effect of compound 1 against the NCI-H292 lung cancer cells was evaluated. The Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) method was conducted to measure the viability of cancer cell after treated through the compound 1. The DCFH-DA was applied for the determination of ROS. The relative expression of the inflammatory genes was measured with RT-PCR. The western blotting was conducted to detect the effect of the compound against MDM-2 levels in NCI-H292 lung cancer cells. The possible binding interactions in terms of binding poses are probed by performing molecular docking simulations.

Abstract
Reactions in water of lanthanide chlorides with the sodium salt of 4,5-dichlorophthalate (dcpa2-) lead to two families of isostructural coordination polymers: family F1 that gathers compounds with the general chemical formula [Ln2(dcpa)3(H2O)]∞ with Ln = La-Gd (except Pm) and family F2 that gathers compounds with general chemical formula [Ln2(dcpa)3(H2O)5·3H2O]∞ with Ln = Tb-Lu plus Y. Heterolanthanide molecular alloys that contain both Eu3+ and Tb3+ ions have been prepared in both structural families. Their luminescence properties have been studied, especially from the brightness point of view. This study revealed that structural family F1 provides molecular alloys that are much more luminescent than those of structural family F2. Therefore, a phase-induction strategy was followed that allowed the design of some molecular alloys (La/Tb/Eu and La/Dy) that are, to the best of our knowledge, among the most luminescent coordination polymers reported so far. This study opens the way to bright luminescent bar codes as well as to bright white luminescent lanthanide-based coordination polymers.

Abstract
In the current research, a novel coordination polymer (CP) containing Zn(II) ions as nodes with the chemical formula of [Zn(IPT)2]n (1) has been produced via reaction of Zn(NO3)2·6H2O with 5-(3-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)phenyl)-1H-tetrazolate (HIPT), a heterotopic imidazole-tetrazole-bifunctional ligand. The as-prepared complex 1 has been charactered via single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Because of its outstanding luminescent performances and stability, the synthesized complex 1 is a kind of excellent material of luminescent sensor of nitrofurantoin (NFT) in the water. The value of Ksv for the complex 1 to NFT is about 1.4 × 104 M-1. For the treatment of the peri-implantitis with complex 1, the ELISA test was carried out to determine the levels of the inflammatory cytokines released into the gingival crevicular fluid. The results showed that the levels of the inflammatory cytokines could be significantly reduced by complex 1 treatment. In addition to this, the real time RT-PCR was also conducted, and the data suggested the signaling pathway of TLR-4-NF-κB activation was inhibited by complex 1.

Abstract
Under solvothermal conditions, two new coordination polymers (CPs), namely {[Cu(HL)]·2CH3CN}n (1) and {[Cu(HL)(bimb)]·4H2O}n (2) (H3L = tris(p-carboxyphenyl)phosphane oxide, bimb = 1,4-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene) were prepared. Their treatment activity on the human prostate cancer was evaluated through series of biological experiments. Firstly, the human prostate cancer cells proliferation was determined with Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) detection kit. The influence of compounds 1 and 2 on the cancer cells migration and invasion ability was measured with trans-well assay. Next, the important role of the EGF-R human prostate cancer cells was determined with western blotting. In the end, the activation of the HIPPO signaling pathway was detected with real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).

Abstract
Rare earth (RE) doped inorganic nanocrystals have been demonstrated as efficient contrast agents for deep tissue shortwave-infrared (SWIR) imaging with high sensitivities leading to potential early detection of tumors. However, a potential concern is the unknown long-term toxicity and incompatibility of inorganic nanocrystals. In this work, biodegradable rare earth nanocrystals of Nd doped SrFCl coated with polydopamine (SrFCl:Nd@PDA) were designed. Instead of traditional fluoride hosts, the chlorinated SrF2 (i.e. SrFCl) with low phonon energy which significantly improved the brightness of SrFCl:Nd in the SWIR region was used as the host. After coating with a NIR-absorptive PDA layer, the SrFCl:Nd nanoparticles serve as not only a contrast agent for photoacoustic imaging, but also a potential photothermal agent for cancer therapy. Moreover, these SrFCl:Nd@PDA nanoparticles can be rapidly and completely degraded in phosphate buffer solution within 1 h, which effectively addresses the concerns of the deleterious effects arising from potential long term accumulation. The increased accumulation and retention at tumor sites, and complete in vivo clearance ∼6 h after injection make these SrFCl:Nd@PDA nanoparticles a promising degradable phototheranostic agent.

Abstract
Abstract
Heterometallic carboxylate complexes are of paramount interest in pure and applied coordination chemistry. Despite that plurality of such type compounds have been published to date, synthetic aspects of their chemistry often remain in the shadow of intriguing physical properties manifesting by these species. Present review summarizes reliable data on direct synthesis of low nuclearity molecular compounds as well as coordination polymers on their base with carboxylate-bridged {M2Mg} (M = Co2+, Ni2+, Cd2+), {M2Li2} (M = Co2+, Ni2+, Zn2+, VO2+), {M2Ln2} and {M2Ln} (M = Cu2+, Zn2+, Co2+) metal cores. Structural features and stabilization factors are considered and principal outcomes are confirmed by quantum-chemical calculations. Particular attention is paid to consideration of ligand-exchange reactions that allow controllable modification of heterometallic metal core under mild conditions giving diverse molecular complexes with modified ligand environment or Metal-Organic Frameworks with permanent porosity.
