Abstract
The coupling of carbonyl electrophiles at the donor position of donor-acceptor cyclopropanes is described, representing an inversion of polarity with respect to conventional reactivity modes displayed by these reagents. Specifically, upon exposure of donor-acceptor cyclopropanes to alcohols in the presence of a cyclometalated iridium catalyst modified by (S)-BINAP, catalytic C-C coupling occurs, providing enantiomerically enriched products of carbonyl allylation. Identical products are obtained upon isopropanol-mediated transfer hydrogenation of donor-acceptor cyclopropanes in the presence of aldehydes. The reaction products are directly transformed to cis-4,5-disubstituted δ-lactones.

Abstract
An efficient and mild Ni(ClO(4))(2)-catalyzed [3+2] cycloaddition of N-tosylaziridines and aldehydes via C-C bond cleavage was developed. The cycloaddition reaction proceeds with high diastereoselectivity and regioselectivity leading to highly substituted 1,3-oxazolidines. Notably, this novel reaction can be easily expanded to gram level scale and the thermal conditions cannot achieve the same transformation.

Abstract
We report a new method for the formal [3+2] reaction of aryl cyclopropyl ketones with olefins to generate highly substituted cyclopentane ring systems. The key initiation step in this process is the one-electron reduction of the ketone to the corresponding radical anion, which is accomplished using a photocatalytic system comprising Ru(bpy)(3)(2+), La(OTf)(3), and TMEDA.

Abstract
A rhodium(i)-catalyzed tandem heterocyclization and formal [4+1] cycloaddition of 1-(1-alkynyl)oxiranyl ketones was developed, in which the epoxide motif undergo unexpected C–C bond cleavage rather than the classical C–O bond cleavage.
