Abstract
The Pd-catalyzed highly selective synthesis of mono- and di-2-fluoroallylic amines from gem-difluorocyclopropanes and ubiquitous unprotected primary anilines is herein described. Initial kinetic investigations suggest a first order in the gem-difluorocyclopropane substrate, as well as a circa zeroth order in the aniline coupling partner. The newly produced fluoroallylic motifs should find important applications in synthetic as well as medicinal chemistry and stimulate the further development of coupling methods based on strained cyclic building blocks.

Abstract
The monoallylation of aniline to give N-allyl aniline is a fundamental transformation process that results in various kinds of valuable building block allyl compounds, which can be used in the production of pharmaceuticals and electronic materials. For decades, sustainable syntheses have been gaining much attention, and the employment of allyl alcohol as an allyl source can follow the sustainability due to the formation of only water as a coproduct through dehydrative monoallylation. Although the use of homogeneous metal complex catalysts is a straightforward choice for the acceleration of dehydrative monoallylation, the use of soluble catalysts tends to contaminate products. We herein present a 10 wt% WO3/ZrO2 catalyzed monoallylation process of aniline to give N-allyl anilines in good yields with excellent selectivity, which enables the continuous selective flow syntheses of N-allyl aniline with 97-99% selectivity. The performed detailed study about the catalytic mechanism suggests that the dispersed WO3 with the preservation of the W(vi) oxidation state of 10 wt% WO3/ZrO2 with appropriate acidity and basicity is crucial for the monoallylation. The inhibition of the over allylation of the N-allyl anilines is explained by the unwilling contact of the N-allyl aniline with the active sites of WO3/ZrO2 due to the steric hindrance.

Abstract
Macrocyclic triamine disulfonamides can be synthesized by double Tsuji-Trost N-allylation reaction of open-chain disulfonamides with 2-alkylidene-1,3-propanediyl bis(carbonates). The previously used Atkins-Richman macrocyclization method generally gives lower yields and requires more tedious purification of the product. Solvent, palladium source, ligand, and concentration have all been varied to optimize the yields of two key 12-membered ring bioactive compounds, CADA and VGD020. The new approach tolerates a wide range of functional groups and gives highest yields for symmetrical compounds in which the acidities of the two sulfonamide groups are matched, although the yields of unsymmetrical compounds are still generally good. The method has also been extended to the synthesis of 11-membered rings, pyridine-fused macrocycles, and products bearing an ester or aryl substituent on the exocyclic double bond.

Abstract
A method is reported for the catalytic direct coupling of allylic alcohols and nitroalkanes. In the allylation process, the synergistic action of palladium complexes and titanium(IV) alkoxide facilitates the formation of nitronate and π-allylpalladium intermediate. In the cases of reluctant allylations, typically with sterically demanding nitroalkanes, we found the addition of substoichiometric amount of DBU greatly facilitates the desired transformation. We also accomplished a total synthesis of (±)-adalinine through a homoallyl nitroalkane derived from Seebach's reagent.
