Abstract
Chiral allenes and styrenes are essential components in fields like medicinal chemistry, materials science, and organic synthesis. They serve a crucial role as chiral ligands and catalysts in asymmetric synthesis. Over the past decade, there has been a significant advancement in the development of practical methods utilizing organocatalytic strategies for the synthesis of chiral allenes and styrenes. It is noteworthy that despite extensive studies on the formation of allenes and styrenes, existing reviews on their construction confined to a specific organocatalysis, called chiral phosphoric acid catalysis, are less documented. This review aims to explore different conceptual approaches based on the electrophilic species involved in the reaction to produce stereoselective chiral allenes and styrenes, providing insights into recent advancements in the field. Emphasis is placed on works published since 2017, with detailed discussions on reaction mechanisms and examples from recent literature.

Abstract
An environmentally benign protocol for the synthesis of alkynyl esters, by the cross-coupling of diazoacetate with various substituted alkynes under neat reaction conditions, has been described. Copper iodide nanoparticles (CuI NPs) were found to promote the Sonogashira-type coupling to afford the corresponding alkynyl esters in good yields. The CuI nanoparticles were characterized by PXRD, FESEM, EDAX, and Raman techniques. The developed methodology has several advantages such as a broad substrate scope, less reaction time, atom economy, avoidance of an additive/base/solvent, and enhanced values of green chemistry. The catalyst was recycled up to threefold without the loss of its catalytic activity.

Abstract
Enantioselective conjunctive cross-coupling of enyne-derived boronate complexes occurs with 1,4 addition of the electrophile and migrating group across the π system. This reaction pathway furnishes α-boryl allenes as the reaction product. In the presence of a chiral catalyst, both the central and axial chirality of the product can be controlled during product formation.

Abstract
We report herein the asymmetric coupling of flow‐generated unstabilized diazo compounds and propargylated amine derivatives, using a new pyridinebis(imidazoline) ligand, a copper catalyst and base. The reaction proceeds rapidly, generating chiral allenes in 10–20 minutes with high enantioselectivity (89–98 % de/ee), moderate yields and a wide functional group tolerance.

Abstract
An N,N'-dioxide/scandium(III) complex catalyzed, highly efficient conjugate addition of malonic esters to enynes is described. A range of trisubstituted 1,2-allenyl ketones were obtained in high yields (up to 99 %) with good d.r. (up to 95/5) and excellent ee values (97 %-99 %). Moreover, the products could be easily transformed into chiral furan and 5-hydroxypyrazoline derivatives, both of which are important skeletons of many biologically active compounds and pharmacologicals.
