Abstract
The in vivo folding of amyloid β (Aβ) is influenced by many factors among which biomembrane interfaces play an important role. Here, using surface-enhanced infrared absorption (SEIRA) spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy (AFM), the adsorption, structure, and morphology of Aβ42 aggregating on different two-dimensional interfaces were investigated. Results show that interfaces facilitate the aggregation of Aβ42 and are conducive to the formation of homogeneous aggregates, while the aggregates vary on different interfaces. On hydrophobic interfaces, strong hydrophobic interactions with the C-terminus of Aβ42 result in the formation of small oligomers with a small proportion of the β-sheet structure. On hydrophilic interfaces, hydrogen-bonding interactions and electrostatic interactions promote the formation of large aggregate particles with β-sheet structure. The hydration repulsion plays an important role in the interaction of Aβ42 with interfaces. These findings help to understand the nature of Aβ42 adsorption and aggregation on the biomembrane interface and the origin of heterogeneity and polymorphism of Aβ42 aggregates.

Abstract
Phototherapy has emerged as a powerful approach for interrupting β-amyloid (Aβ) self-assembly. However, deeper tissue penetration and safer photosensitizers are urgent to be exploited for avoiding damaging nearby normal tissues and improving therapeutic effectiveness. A hydrogen-bonded organic framework (HOF)-based NIR-II photooxygenation catalyst is presented here to settle the abovementioned challenges. By encapsulating the pyridinium hemicyanine dye DSM with a large two-photon absorption (TPA) cross-section in NIR-II window into the porphyrin-based HOF, the resultant DSM@n-HOF-6 exhibits significant two-photon NIR-II-excited Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) to generate singlet oxygen (1 O2 ) for Aβ oxidation. Further, the target peptides of KLVFFAED (KD8) are covalently grafted on DSM@n-HOF-6 to enhance the blood-brain barrier (BBB) permeability and Aβ selectivity. The HOF-based photooxygenation catalyst shows an outstanding inhibitory effect of Aβ aggregation upon the NIR-II irradiation. Further in vivo studies demonstrate the obvious decrease of craniocerebral Aβ plaques and recovery of memory deficits in triple-transgenic AD (3×Tg-AD) model mice.

Abstract
We constructed a tailorable membrane channel system consisting of penicillamine molecules intercalated in copper selenide nanoparticles (Cu2-x Se NPs), which exhibited circular dichroism (CD) bands in the near infrared region (CD, 800-1600 nm) with a maximum intensity of 164.5 mdeg at 1440 nm. The chiral ligand hybridized to the surface of achiral Cu2-x Se NPs by breaking the intrinsic symmetry of Cu2-x Se NPs and further large-scale assembly induced strong optical activity. The fabricated multilayer chiral membrane achieved an increased rectification ratio (RR) up to 114. The integration of penicillamine allowed for high enantioselective recognition against naproxen, which displayed high sensitivity with a limit of detection (LOD) as low as 0.027 nM.

Abstract
One of the most common methods to treat thromboembolism is the use of thrombolytic drugs to activate fibrinolytic protease. The aim of this treatment was to initiate the lysis of fibrin; however, there are many side-effects associated with this form of treatment. Herein, we fabricated chiral Co3 O4 supraparticles (SPs) with a g-factor of up to 0.02 at 550 nm and paramagnetic performance applied in the treatment of thromboembolism under an electromagnetic field (MF). In vitro experiments showed that d-SPs degraded blood clot within 8 hours under MF. Compared to l-SPs, d-SPs exhibited much stronger thrombolytic ability and effectively enhanced the survival rate of thrombosis model mice more than 70 % in the 25 d of observation. The results of mechanism study showed that under MF, the level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by d-SPs were 1.5 times higher than that of l-SPs, which might be attributed to the chiral-induced spin selectivity effects.

Abstract
Hepatitis B virus (HBV) poses a severe threat to public health and social development. Here, we synthesized 4±0.5 nm copper (I) sulfide (Cu2 S) nanoparticles (NPs) with 46 mdeg chiroptical property at 530 nm to selectively cleavage HBV core antigen (HBcAg) and effectively blocked HBV assembly and prevented HBV infection both in vitro and in vivo under light at 808 nm. Experimental analysis showed that the chiral Cu2 S NPs specific bound with the functional domain from phenylalanine23 (F23 ) to leucine30 (L30 ) from HBcAg primary sequence and the cutting site was between amino acid residues F24 and proline25 (P25 ). Under excitation at 808 nm, the intracellular HBcAg concentration was reduced by 95 %, and in HBV transgenic mice, the levels of HBV surface antigen (HBsAg) and HBV DNA were decreased by 93 % and 86 %, respectively. Together, these results reveal the potential nanomedicine for HBV control and provide fresh tools for viral infection.
