Abstract
A system utilizing palladium(II)-PEG has been devised for the intramolecular Heck cyclization of N-vinyl and N-allyl-2-haloanilines. The synthesis of a variety of indoles, including 2,3-diester substituted ones and 3-methyl indoles, has been accomplished using this catalytic system. The N-vinyl starting materials are obtained by the aza-Michael addition of 2-haloanilines with alkynecarboxylate esters, which, upon cyclization, yield ester-substituted indoles. Conversely, N-allyl-2-haloanilines yield 3-methylated indoles as the major products. The high activity of the system is owed to the in situ generation of Pd nanoparticles.

Abstract
A magnetically isolable iron oxide nanoparticles is introduced as an efficient heterogeneous photocatalyst for non-directed C-H arylation employing aryl diazonium salts as the aryl precursors. This first-row transition metal-based photocatalyst revealed versatile activities and is applicable to a wide range of substrates, demonstrating brilliant efficacy and superior recyclability. Detailed catalytic characterization describes the physical properties and redox behavior of the Fe-catalyst. Adequate control experiments helped to establish the radical-based mechanism for the C-H arylation.

Abstract
This study describes an efficient antimicrobial drug delivery system composed of iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4 NPs) coated by an MOF-199 network. Then, the prepared vancomycin (VAN)-loaded carrier was fully packed in a lattice of beta-cyclodextrin (BCD). For cell adhesion, beta-cyclodextrin has been functionalized with guanidine (Gn) groups within in situ synthetic processes. Afterward, drug loading efficiency and the release patterns were investigated through precise analytical methods. Confocal microscopy has shown that the prepared cargo (formulated as [VAN@Fe3O4/MOF-199]BCD-Gn) could be attached to the Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacterial cells in a higher rate than the individual VAN. The presented system considerably increased the antibacterial effects of the VAN with a lower dosage of drug. The cellular experiments such as the zone of inhibition and optical density (OD600) have confirmed the enhanced antibacterial effect of the designed cargo. In addition, the MIC/MBC (minimum inhibitory and bactericidal concentrations) values have been estimated for the prepared cargo compared to the individual VAN, revealing high antimicrobial potency of the VAN@Fe3O4/MOF-199]BCD-Gn cargo.

Abstract
In the present study, a novel magnetic ethylene-based periodic mesoporous organosilica supported Pd-Schiff base complex (Fe3O4@PMO/SB-Pd) was prepared, characterized and applied as a recoverable nanocatalyst for green synthesis of Suzuki products. Chemical composition, magnetic and thermal behavior, morphology and particle size of Fe3O4@PMO/SB-Pd were investigated by using FT-IR, TGA, EDX, VSM, PXRD, TEM and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analyses. The Fe3O4@PMO/SB-Pd nanocomposite was applied as an efficient nanocatalyst in the Suzuki reaction under ultrasonic conditions giving corresponding products in high yield. Some advantages of this study are simple purification of products, the use of water solvent, easy catalyst separation, short reaction time and high catalyst efficiency and recoverability.

Abstract
A new eco-friendly catalytic system is devised for C-C bond formation through Suzuki coupling, using an impressive nanocatalyst (Fe3O4/L-(+)-tartaric acid/Pd-NPs). It contains immobilized palladium (0) onto magnetite nanoparticles, stabilized by tartaric acid, and is characterized by FT-IR, XRD, EDS, SEM, TEM, TGA, and VSM. The catalyst is used in an efficient synthesis of biaryls in EtOH/H2O (1:1), in the presence of K2CO3. Our Fe3O4/tartaric acid/Pd-NPs exhibit magnetic recoverability and reusability for five cycles without measurable loss of its activity.
