Abstract
To deal with situations involving uncertainty, Fermatean fuzzy sets are more effective than Pythagorean fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, and fuzzy sets. Applications for fuzzy similarity measures can be found in a wide range of fields, including clustering analysis, classification issues, medical diagnosis, etc. The computation of the weights of the criteria in a multi-criteria decision-making problem heavily relies on fuzzy entropy measurements. In this paper, we employ t-conorms to suggest various Fermatean fuzzy similarity measures. We have also discussed all of their interesting characteristics. Using the suggested similarity measurements, we have created some new entropy measures for Fermatean fuzzy sets. By using numerical comparison and linguistic hedging, we have established the superiority of the suggested similarity metrics and entropy measures over the existing measures in the Fermatean fuzzy environment. The usefulness of the proposed Fermatean fuzzy similarity measurements is shown by pattern analysis. Last but not least, a novel multi-attribute decision-making approach is described that tackles a significant flaw in the order preference by similarity to the ideal solution, a conventional approach to decision-making, in a Fermatean fuzzy environment.

Abstract
The main research of this paper is decision making under the dual probabilistic linguistic term sets (DPLTSs). This paper introduces a method, which combined TODIM method and CRITIC method. In this research, the CRITIC method is used to determine the weight, and the distance formula of TODIM method has been modified in order to adapt to DPLTS situation. Then, the TODIM method is used for multi-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problem. Finally, a case study concerning investment project selection is given to demonstrate the merits of the developed methods. This combined method can be used for the automatic areal feature matching, medical quality assessment, and ranking of matching processes. There are very few papers about using TODIM method under DPLTS situation at present, so this is a new perspective on MAGDM. The DPLTS-TODIM-CRITIC method was compared with correlation coefficient method and closeness coefficient method, and it is easy to find the advantage of this new method over the other two existing methods.

Abstract
In uncertain information processing, new knowledge can be discovered by measuring the proximity between discovered and undiscovered knowledge. Pythagorean Fuzzy Sets (PFSs) is one of the important tools to describe the natural attributes of uncertain information. Therefore, how to appropriately measure the distance between PFSs is an important topic. The earth mover’s distance (EMD) is a real distance metric that can be used to describe the difference between two distribution laws. In this paper, a new distance measure for PFSs based on EMD is proposed. It is a new perspective to measure the distance between PFSs from the perspective of distribution law. First, a new distance measure namely DEMD is presented and proven to satisfy the distance measurement axiom. Second, an example is given to illustrate the advantages of DEMD compared with other distance measures. Third, the problem statements and solving algorithms of pattern recognition, medical diagnosis and multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problems are given. Finally, by comparing the application of different methods in pattern recognition, medical diagnosis and MCDM, the effectiveness and practicability of DEMD and algorithms presented in this paper are demonstrated.

Abstract
Fermatean fuzzy sets are more powerful than fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, and Pythagorean fuzzy sets in handling various problems involving uncertainty. The distance measures in the fuzzy and non-standard fuzzy frameworks have got their applicability in various areas such as pattern analysis, clustering, medical diagnosis, etc. Also, the fuzzy and non-standard fuzzy knowledge measures have played a vital role in computing the criteria weights in the multicriteria decision-making problems. As there is no study concerning the distance and knowledge measures of Fermatean fuzzy sets, so in this paper, we propose some novel distance measures for Fermatean fuzzy sets using t-conorms. We also discuss their various desirable properties. With the help of suggested distance measures, we introduce some knowledge measures for Fermatean fuzzy sets. Through numerical comparison and linguistic hedges, we establish the effectiveness of the suggested distance measures and knowledge measures, respectively, over the existing measures in the Pythagorean/Fermatean fuzzy setting. Abstract
It is prominent important for managers to assess the personal risk of mental patients. The evaluation process refers to numerous indexes, and the evaluation values are general portrayed by uncertainty information. In order to conveniently model the complicated uncertainty information in realistic decision making, interval-valued complex Pythagorean fuzzy set is proposed. Firstly, with the aid of Einstein t-norm and t-conorm, four fundamental operations for interval-valued complex Pythagorean fuzzy number (IVCPFN) are constructed along with some operational properties. Subsequently, according to these proposed operations, the weighted average and weighted geometric forms of aggregation operators are initiated for fusing IVCPFNs, and their anticipated properties are also examined. In addition, a multiple attribute decision making issue is examined under the framework of IVCPFNs when employing the novel suggested operators. Ultimately, an example regarding the assessment on personal risk of mental patients is provided to reveal the practicability of the designed approach, and the attractiveness of our results is further found through comparing with other extant approaches. The main novelty of the coined approach is that it not only can preserve the original assessment information adequately by utilizing the IVCPFNs, but also can aggregate IVCPFNs effectively.

Abstract
Distance measure is one of the research hotspot in Pythagorean fuzzy environment due to its quantitative ability of distinguishing Pythagorean fuzzy sets (PFSs). Various distance functions for PFSs are introduced in the literature and have their own pros and cons. The common thread of incompetency for these existing distance functions is their inability to distinguish highly uncertain PFSs distinctly. To tackle this point, we introduce a novel distance measure for PFSs. An added advantage of the measure is its simple mathematical form. Moreover, superiority and reasonability of the prescribed definition are demonstrated through proper numerical examples. Boundedness and nonlinear behaviour of the distance measure is established and verified via suitable illustrations. In the current scenario, selecting an antivirus face-mask as a preventive measure in the COVID-19 pandemic and choosing the best school in private sector for children are some of the burning issues of a modern society. These issues are addressed here as multi-attribute decision-making problems and feasible solutions are obtained using the introduced definition. Applicability of the distance measure is further extended in the areas of pattern recognition and medical diagnosis.

Abstract
Medical image recognition is affected by characteristics such as blur and noise, which cause medical image features that cannot be effectively identified and directly affects clinical diagnostics. In order to improve the diagnostic effect of medical MR image features, based on the FRFCM clustering segmentation method, this study combines the medical MR image feature reality, collects data for traditional clustering method analysis, and sorts out the shortcomings of traditional clustering methods. Simultaneously, this study improves the traditional clustering method by combining medical image feature diagnosis requirements. In addition, this study carried out image data processing through simulation, and designed comparative experiments to analyze the performance of the algorithm. The research shows that the FRFCM combined with the intuitionistic fuzzy set proposed in this paper has greatly improved the noise immunity and segmentation performance compared with the FCM based fuzzy set.

Directional correlation coefficient measures for Pythagorean fuzzy sets: their applications to medical diagnosis and cluster analysis. COMPLEX INTELL SYST 2021. Abstract
AbstractCompared to the intuitionistic fuzzy sets, the Pythagorean fuzzy sets (PFSs) can provide the decision makers with more freedom to express their evaluation information. There exist some research results on the correlation coefficient between PFSs, but sometimes they fail to deal with the problems of disease diagnosis and cluster analysis. To tackle the drawbacks of the existing correlation coefficients between PFSs, some novel directional correlation coefficients are put forward to compute the relationship between two PFSs by taking four parameters of the PFSs into consideration, which are the membership degree, non-membership degree, strength of commitment, and direction of commitment. Afterwards, two practical examples are given to show the application of the proposed directional correlation coefficient in the disease diagnosis, and the application of the proposed weighted directional correlation coefficient in the cluster analysis. Finally, they are compared with the previous correlation coefficients that have been developed for PFSs.

Similarity Measures between Intuitionistic Fuzzy Credibility Sets and Their Multicriteria Decision-Making Method for the Performance Evaluation of Industrial Robots. Abstract
To enhance the credibility level/measure of an intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS), this study proposes the notion of an intuitionistic fuzzy credibility set (IFCS) to express the hybrid information of a pair of a membership degree and a credibility degree and a pair of a nonmembership degree and a credibility degree. Next, we propose generalized distance and similarity measures between IFCSs and then further generalize the weighted generalized distance measure of IFCSs to the trigonometric function-based similarity measures of IFCSs, including the cosine, sine, tangent, and cotangent similarity measures based on the weighted generalized distance measure of IFCSs. Then, a multicriteria decision making (MCDM) method using the proposed similarity measures is developed in the environment of IFCSs. An illustrative example about the performance evaluation of industrial robots and comparative analysis are presented to indicate the applicability and efficiency of the developed method in the setting of IFCSs.

Abstract
With the rapid outbreak of COVID-19, most people are facing antivirus mask shortages. Therefore, it is necessary to reasonably select antivirus masks and optimize the use of them for everyone. However, the uncertainty of the effects of COVID-19 and limits of human cognition add to the difficulty for decision makers to perfectly realize the purpose. To maximize the utility of the antivirus mask, we proposed a decision support algorithm based on the novel concept of the spherical normal fuzzy (SpNoF) set. In it, firstly, we analyzed the new score and accuracy function, improved operational rules, and their properties. Then, in line with these operations, we developed the SpNoF Bonferroni mean operator and the weighted Bonferroni mean operator, some properties of which are also examined. Furthermore, we established a multi-criteria decision-making method, based on the proposed operators, with SpNoF information. Finally, a numerical example on antivirus mask selection over the COVID-19 pandemic was given to verify the practicability of the proposed method, which the sensitive and comparative analysis was based on and was conducted to demonstrate the availability and superiority of our method.

Abstract
The neutrosophic cubic sets are an extension of the cubic sets to the neutrosophic sets. It contains three variables, which respectively represent the membership degree, non-membership degree and uncertainty of the element to the set. The score function is an important indicator in the multi-attribute decision-making problem. In this paper, we consider the possibility that an element belongs to a set and put forward the concept of possibility neutrosophic cubic sets. On this basis, we introduce some related concepts and give the binary operation of possibility neutrosophic cubic sets and use specific examples to supplement the corresponding definition. Meanwhile, a decision-making method based on the score function of possibility neutrosophic cubic sets is proposed and a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract
In this manuscript, the notions of q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (q-ROFSs) and complex fuzzy sets (CFSs) are combined is to propose the complex q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (Cq-ROFSs) and their fundamental laws. The Cq-ROFSs are an important way to express uncertain information, and they are superior to the complex intuitionistic fuzzy sets and the complex Pythagorean fuzzy sets. Their eminent characteristic is that the sum of the qth power of the real part (similarly for imaginary part) of complex-valued membership degree and the qth power of the real part (similarly for imaginary part) of complex-valued non‐membership degree is equal to or less than 1, so the space of uncertain information they can describe is broader. Under these environments, we develop the score function, accuracy function and comparison method for two Cq-ROFNs. Based on Cq-ROFSs, some new aggregation operators are called complex q-rung orthopair fuzzy weighted averaging (Cq-ROFWA) and complex q-rung orthopair fuzzy weighted geometric (Cq-ROFWG) operators are investigated, and their properties are described. Further, based on proposed operators, we present a new method to deal with the multi‐attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems under the environment of fuzzy set theory. Finally, we use some practical examples to illustrate the validity and superiority of the proposed method by comparing with other existing methods.
