Abstract
PURPOSE Our study aimed to develop a noninvasive model using a combination of the set of clinical data and uroflowmetry (UFL) to differentiate between detrusor underactivity (DU) and bladder outlet obstruction (BOO) in non-neurogenic male patients with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). METHODS Data from 229 men with LUTS, diagnosed with DU or BOO on a pressure-flow study (PFS), were retrospectively analyzed, including medical history, Core Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms score (CLSS) questionnaire, UFL and PFS. Uni- and multivariate logistic regression were utilized for the prediction analyses. RESULTS Of the cohort, 128 (55.9%) patients were diagnosed with DU. A multivariate logistic regression analysis identified less prevalent nocturia (OR 0.27, p < 0.002), more prevalent intermittency (OR 2.33, p = 0.03), less prevalent weak stream (OR 0.14, p = 0.0004), lower straining points in CLSS (OR 0.67, p = 0.02), higher slow stream points in CLSS (OR 1.81, p = 0.002), higher incomplete emptying points in CLSS (OR 1.31, p < 0.02), lower PVR ratio (OR 0.20, p = 0.03), and present features of fluctuating (OR 2.00, p = 0.05), fluctuating-intermittent (OR 3.09, p < 0.006), and intermittent (OR 8.11, p = 0.076) UFL curve shapes as independent predictors of DU. The above prediction model demonstrated satisfactory accuracy (c-index of 0.783). CONCLUSION Our 10-factor model provides a noninvasive approach to differentiate DU from BOO in male patients with non-neurogenic LUTS, offering a valuable alternative to invasive PFS.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Bladder outflow obstruction (BOO) is a urethral resistance (UR) at a level above a clinically relevant threshold. UR is currently graded in terms of the existence and severity of the BOO based on maximum flowrate and associated detrusor pressure only. However, the pressure-flow relation throughout the course of voiding includes additional information that may be relevant to identify the type of BOO. This study introduces a new method for the distinction between the provisionally called compressive and constrictive types of BOO and relates this classification to underlying patient and urodynamic differences between those BOO types. METHODS In total, 593 high-quality urodynamic pressure-flow studies in men were included in this study. Constrictive BOO was identified if the difference Δp between the actual minimal urethral opening pressure (pmuo) and the expected pmuo according to the linearized passive urethral resistance relation (linPURR) nomogram was >25 cmH2O. Compressive BOO is identified in the complementary case where the pressure difference Δp ≤ 25 cmH2O. Differences in urodynamic parameters, patient age, and prostate size were explored. RESULTS In 81 (13.7%) of the cases, constrictive BOO was found. In these patients, the prostate size was significantly smaller when compared to patients diagnosed with compressive BOO, while displaying a significantly lower maximum flowrate, higher detrusor pressure at maximal flowrate and more postvoid residual (PVR). CONCLUSION This study is an initial step in the validation of additional subtyping of BOO. We found significant differences in prostate size, severity of BOO, and PVR, between patients with compressive and constrictive BOO. Subtyping of voiding-outflow dynamics may lead to more individualized management in patients with BOO.

Abstract
PURPOSE To intelligently diagnose whether there is bladder outlet obstruction (BOO) in female with decent detrusor contraction ability by focusing on urodynamic study (UDS) data. MATERIALS AND METHODS We retrospectively reviewed the UDS data of female patients during urination. Eleven easily accessible urinary flow indicators were calculated according to the UDS data of each patient during voiding period. Eight diagnosis models based on back propagation neural network with different input feature combination were constructed by analyzing the correlations between indicators and lower urinary tract dysfunction labels. Subsequently, the stability of diagnostic models was evaluated by five-fold cross-validation based on training data, while the performance was compared on test dataset. RESULTS UDS data from 134 female patients with a median age of 51 years (range, 27-78 years) were selected for our study. Among them, 66 patients suffered BOO and the remaining were normal. Applying the 5-fold cross-validation method, the model with the best performance achieved an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) value of 0.949±0.060 using 9 UDS input features. The accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity for BOO diagnosis model in the testing process are 94.4%, 100%, and 89.3%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS The 9 significant indicators in UDS were employed to construct a diagnostic model of female BOO based on machine learning algorithm, which performs preferable classification accuracy and stability.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Uroflowmetry is often used to assess lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). Criteria for characterization of flow patterns are not well established, and subjective interpretation is the most common approach for flow curve classification. We assessed the reliability of uroflowmetry curve interpretation in adult women. MATERIALS AND METHODS Uroflowmetry studies were obtained in 296 women who participated in an observational cohort study. Four investigators with expertise in female LUTS and urodynamics reviewed and categorized each tracing for interrater reliability. A random subset of 50 tracings was re-reviewed by each investigator for intrarater reliability. The uroflowmetry tracings were rated using categories of continuous, continuous fluctuating, interrupted, and prolonged. Other parameters included flow rate, voided volume, time to maximum flow, and voiding time. Agreement between raters is summarized with kappa (k) statistics and percentage where at least three raters agreed. RESULTS The mean age of participants was 44.8 ± 18.3 years. Participant age categories were 18-24 years: 20%; 25-34 years: 17%; 35-64 years: 42%; 65+ years: 18%. Nine percent described their race as Asian, 31% Black, 62% White, and 89% were of non-Hispanic ethnicity. The interrater reliability was highest for the continuous flow category (k = 0.65), 0.47 for prolonged, 0.41 for continuous fluctuating, and 0.39 for interrupted flow curves. Agreement among at least three raters occurred in 74.3% of uroflow curves (69% for continuous, 33% for continuous fluctuating, 23% for interrupted, and 25% for prolonged). For intrarater reliability, the mean k was 0.72 with a range of 0.57-0.85. CONCLUSIONS Currently accepted uroflowmetry pattern categories have fair to moderate interrater reliability, which is lower for flow curves that do not meet "continuous" criteria. Given the subjective nature of interpreting uroflowmetry data, more consistent and clear parameters may enhance reliability for use in research and as a screening tool for LUTS and voiding dysfunction. Abstract
Background/Objectives: The most common variant of mixed urinary incontinence is stress-induced urge urinary incontinence with the correlating urodynamic findings of cough-induced detrusor overactivity (CIDO). This prospective study assessed the clinical outcomes and leakage improvement among patients with CIDO following conservative or surgical treatment. Methods: We included patients with CIDO treated at our tertiary referral center from January 2018 to July 2021 in this prospective cohort study. The detection of a detrusor contraction after a cough was diagnosed as CIDO by urodynamic multichannel testing. All the patients in our study received personalized care, with behavioral therapy and anticholinergic/betamimetic treatment as a first step. If leakage persisted, patients were given a choice between pelvic floor muscle exercises (PFMEs), periurethral bulking or a midurethral sling. The primary outcome was the mean difference in urine leakage in the pad test before and six months after treatment. Results: Thirty-five patients met the inclusion criteria for CIDO and all presented a positive pad test at baseline (mean: 27 g). All 35 patients participated in behavioral therapy and anticholinergic/betamimetic treatment. Twenty-two patients (62.9%) underwent PFME, twelve patients (34.2%) received periurethral bulking, and nine patients (25.7%) received a midurethral sling. After all the treatments, our cohort showed a significant improvement in the pad test (mean: 5.7 g, p < 0.001). The result was more favorable after periurethral bulking than the midurethral sling (p < 0.001). Conclusions: This study shows the effectiveness of conservative treatment as a first step. In cases needing further treatment, bulking agents may be superior to PFME and midurethral propylene slings, offering new perspectives in the field of urogynecology and urinary incontinence.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To determine the type of bladder outlet obstruction (BOO) in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). MATERIAL AND METHOD A case-control study was carried out in 46 patients divided into two groups. Group 1 formed by 23 PD patients with BOO (a URA parameter ≥ 29 cm H2O). Group 2 formed by 23 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and compressive obstruction (an opening pressure > 35 cm H2O) and URA parameter ≥ 29 cm H2O). Both groups underwent a pressure-flow study to calculate Dynamic Urethral Resistance Relationship (DURR) patterns. Based on previous research, we describe two types of DURR pattern. Pattern A typical of dynamic or functional obstruction and pattern B typical of static or organic obstruction. RESULTS We found that PD patients had a significantly higher frequency of pattern A (70%) than BPH patients (4%). Other significant differences between groups were age (greater in PD group), bladder compliance (greater in PD group), maximum flow rate [Qmax (greater in BPH group)], maximum detrusor pressure [Pmax (greater in BPH group)], detrusor pressure at maximum flow rate [PQmax (greater in BPH group)], opening detrusor pressure (greater in BPH group), and the bladder contractility parameters BCI and Wmax (greater in BPH group). There were no significant differences in perineal voiding electromyography (EMG) activity between groups nor relationship between voiding EMG activity and the type of DURR pattern. CONCLUSIONS Our results are consistent with the usefulness of the DURR pattern to differentiate between functional and organic BOO in PD patients. Most PD patients have functional obstruction although a minority has organic obstruction consistent with BPH.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION AND HYPOTHESIS This study was aimed at investigating non-invasive indicators correlated with detrusor overactivity (DO) and at developing a prediction model for DO by reviewing clinical and urodynamic data of female patients. METHODS We retrospectively enrolled 1,084 female patients who underwent a urodynamic study (UDS) at Tongji Hospital between September 2011 and April 2021. Associated factors and the independent prediction factors of DO were demonstrated by univariate and multivariate analysis. A non-invasive prediction model of DO was developed and validated by applying these data. RESULTS A total of 194 patients (17.9%) were classified as having DO. A logistic regression of a multivariate nature showed that DO risk factors were independent of age, nocturia, urgency, urgency urinary incontinence (UUI), and the lack of stress urinary incontinence (SUI). The DO prediction model had good performance, with an area under the curve of 0.880 (95% CI 0.826-0.933), which was verified by urodynamic data of patients in Tongji Hospital to be 0.818 (95% CI 0.783-0.853). An outstanding correspondence between the anticipated probability and the observed frequency was revealed by the calibration curve. Decision curve analysis demonstrated that clinical net benefit can be obtained by applying the DO prediction model when the DO risk probability was between 8 and 97%. CONCLUSIONS A non-invasive prediction model of DO was developed and validated using clinical and urodynamic data. Five independent factors associated with DO were identified: age, nocturia, urgency, UUI, and SUI. This prediction model can contribute to assessing the risk of female DO without the need for invasive urodynamic studies.

Abstract
Background/Objectives: The use of tension-free vaginal tape obturator (TVT-O) for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) has been widely debated over the last decade due to the lack of evidence on its long-term outcomes. The aim of this prospective study is to assess, for the first time in the available literature, the efficacy and safety of TVT-O implantation in women with pure SUI over a 17-year follow-up period. Methods: We included all women who complained of pure SUI symptoms (confirmed urodynamically) and underwent the TVT-O procedure. An objective cure was defined as the absence of urine leakage during the stress test, while subjective outcomes were assessed by means of the International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-Short Form (ICIQ-SF), the Patient Global Impression of Improvement (PGI-I) scale, and a Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Results: A total of 70 patients who met the inclusion criteria underwent the TVT-O procedure. During the study period, no patients were lost to follow-up, and all women completed the last evaluation at the 17-year mark. At the 17-year mark of follow-up, 62 out of 70 patients (81.4%) were subjectively cured, and 56 out of 70 (80%) patients were objectively cured. These data do not reveal any significant variation in the surgical outcomes over the follow-up period. We recorded seven (10%) tape exposure (three occurred after 10 years and four after 17 years). Among these, one woman was symptomatic for dyspareunia and "hispareunia". All patients with mesh exposure were treated with partial removal and re-suture of the vagina, but only one developed the recurrence of SUI that required a second treatment with a urethral bulking agent (UBA). In all other cases, women reported a complete resolution of symptoms without any worsening of the urinary continence. No significant bladder or urethral erosion was recorded. Conclusions: The 17-year evaluation of the TVT-O procedure has shown that it is a highly effective and safe option for the treatment of female SUI. Although there was an increased risk of tape exposure 17 years after implantation, no serious complications were reported, and no patient required the total removal of the sling.

Abstract
Aims The urinary dysfunction in multiple system atrophy (MSA) is characterized by large post-void residuals (PVR) due to impaired bladder contractility. However, the evaluations of bladder contractility are not well validated in MSA. Because the bladder contractility index can be generally represented as Pdet Qmax (detrusor pressure at maximum urinary flow rate) + kQmax (maximum urinary flow rate), we aim to examine which "k" value is suitable for representing bladder contractility concerning its correlations to PVR and voided percentage (VOID%). Methods We retrospectively reviewed 133 patients with MSA (74 males, 59 females, mean disease duration 3.2 years) who underwent an urodynamic study. We calculated bladder contractility using the formula PIPk = Pdet Qmax + kQmax by increasing the "k" value from 0.1 to 10 by increments of 0.1. We calculated the correlations between each PIPk (k = 0.1-10.0) and PVR and VOID%. Results The correlational coefficients between PIPk and VOID% were larger than those between PIPk and PVR. The correlational coefficients between PIPk and VOID% reached a plateau level at a "k" value >5.0 in male patients, suggesting that currently used formulas such as Pdet Qmax + 5Qmax for males might be appropriate for male MSA patients. However, the correlational coefficients between PIPk and VOID% reached a plateau level in female patients when the "k" values were >6.0, which might overestimate bladder contractility in female patients. Conclusion Although currently used formulas such as Pdet Qmax + 5Qmax might be appropriate for male MSA patients, formulas for female patients need further evaluation.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To evaluate the effect of urethral catheterization on the accuracy of EMG uroflowmetry in children with non-neurogenic voiding disorders during pressure-flow (PF) studies compared to the non-invasive EMG uroflowmetry test. METHODS A retrospective study of children undergoing a urodynamic evaluation at our institution between 8/2018 and 7/2022 was employed. Urination curves and pelvic floor muscle activity were compared between PF studies and non-invasive EMG uroflowmetry test. The non-invasive test was selected as the standard benchmark. RESULTS 104 children were tested, with 34 children (33%) being able to urinate only in a non-invasive EMG uroflowmetry. The percentage of boys unable to urinate with a catheter was significantly higher than girls (54% vs. 13%, p-value < 0.001). In 70 children, a normal bell-shaped urination curve was found in 13 compared to 33 children in the PF studies and non-invasive uroflowmetry, respectively. PF studies demonstrated a specificity of 39% (95% CI 23-57) and a positive predictive value (PPV) of 61% (95% CI 53-67) in finding non-bell-shaped curves. Relaxation of pelvic muscles was found in 21 (30%) as opposed to 39 (55%) of children in invasive and non-invasive EMG uroflowmetry, respectively (p-value = 0.5). CONCLUSION The accuracy of PF studies in children, primarily in boys, compared to the non-invasive uroflowmetry, was poor. This may pose potential errors in diagnosis and subsequent treatment. We recommend completing a non-invasive EMG uroflowmetry in cases where the child refused to urinate, or pathology was found, requiring a modification in treatment.

Abstract
PURPOSE Dysfunctional voiding (DV) is not uncommon in women with non-neurogenic voiding dysfunction. Because of its unknown pathophysiology, effective and durable treatment is lacking. This study aimed to analyze the results of treatment and predictive factors for a successful outcome of botulinum toxin A (BoNT-A) treatment in female patients with DV. METHODS In total, 66 women with DV confirmed by a videourodynamic study (VUDS) were treated with a BoNT-A injection into the urethral sphincter once (n = 33) or several times (n = 33). VUDS was performed before (baseline) and after the BoNT-A treatment. Patients with a global response assessment of the voiding condition of 2 or 3 and a voiding efficiency (VE) of >20% than baseline were considered to have a successful outcome. The baseline demographics, VUDS parameters, and VUDS DV subtypes were compared between the successful and failed groups. Predictive factors for a successful outcome were investigated by logistic regression analyses. RESULTS Successful and failed outcomes were achieved in 27 (40.9%) and 39 (59.1%) women, respectively. After BoNT-A injections, the maximum flow rate (Qmax), voided volume, and VE all significantly increased, and the postvoid residual (PVR) was slightly improved. No significant difference in the number of injections and medical comorbidity was found between the groups. However, the successful group had a higher incidence of previous pelvic surgery. No significant difference in the treatment outcome was found among patients with different urethral obstruction sites. Significant improvements in Qmax, voided volume, PVR, VE, and the bladder outlet obstruction (BOO) index were noted in the successful group. A lower VE at baseline and a history of surgery were identified as predictive factors for a successful outcome of BoNT-A injections for treating DV. CONCLUSION BoNT-A injections into the urethral sphincter can effectively improve VE in 40.9% of women with DV. Women with higher BOO grades and previous pelvic surgery are predicted to have a successful treatment outcome.

Abstract
PURPOSE Nonneurogenic chronic urinary retention is an uncommon problem in young female individuals, and a well characterised causes is Fowler syndrome (primary disorder of urethral sphincter relaxation). Intermittent catheterisation is often challenging, and gold standard treatment sacral neuromodulation is not widely available. Urethral sphincter botulinum toxin injection has been shown to be effective cross-sectionally, however little is known about long-term outcomes. METHODS Female individuals presenting with urinary retention due to Fowler syndrome were reviewed retrospectively from a single tertiary referral centre over an 11-year period (2010-2021). One hundred units of onabotulinum toxin A (BoTX-A) was injected into the striated urethral sphincter in a divided dose by the periurethral approach. Efficacy and side effects were assessed 4 weeks after injection. RESULTS Thirty-three female individuals with a mean age of 40.1±14.1 years received 165 unique urethral sphincter BoTX-A injections over 11 years. Nineteen individuals (57.6%) presented in acute urinary retention, and 28 (84.8%) were reliant on catheterisation. Twenty-one individuals (64%) responded to BoTX-A injections and had a significantly raised baseline maximum urethral closure pressure (MUCP), compared to nonresponders (114.6 cm H2O, P=0.012). Side effects were reported following 19 injections (11.5%) however, were mild and transient. Fifteen individuals received more than 1 botulinum toxin injection (median, 3 injections), with a median interval of 112 days (interquartile range) and efficacy persisted following repeat injections and no safety concerns were seen. CONCLUSION Sphincter botulinum toxin through the periurethral approach is safe and effective following repeat injections, and offers a low-cost, minimally invasive alternative to managing female chronic urinary retention due to Fowler syndrome, particularly when there was a high baseline MUCP.

Abstract
Objective In addition to the well-established advantage that strengthened pelvic musculature increases urethral resistance in stress urinary incontinence (SUI) patients, intra-vaginal electrical stimulation (iVES) has been shown in preclinical studies to improve bladder capacity via the pudendal-hypogastric mechanism. This study investigated whether iVES also benefits bladder storage in SUI patients by focusing on compliance, a viscoelastic parameter critically defining the bladder's storage function, in a clinical study. Moreover, the potential involvement of stimulation-induced neuromodulation in iVES-modified compliance was investigated by comparing the therapeutic outcomes of SUI patients treated with iVES to those who underwent a trans-obturator tape (TOT) implantation surgery, where a mid-urethral sling was implanted without electric stimulation. Patients and methods Urodynamic and viscoelastic data were collected from 21 SUI patients treated with a regimen combining iVES and biofeedback-assisted pelvic floor muscle training (iVES-bPFMT; 20-min iVES and 20-min bPFMT sessions, twice per week, for 3 months). This regimen complied with ethical standards. Data from 21 SUI patients who received TOT implantation were retrospectively analyzed. Mean compliance (Cm), infused volume (Vinf), and threshold pressure (Pthr) from the pressure-flow/volume investigations were assessed. Results Compared with the pretreatment control, iVES-bPFMT consistently and significantly increased Cm (18/21; 85%, p = 0.017, N = 21) and Vinf (16/21; 76%, p = 0.046; N = 21) but decreased Pthr (16/21; 76%, p = 0.026, N = 21). In contrast, TOT implantation did not result in consistent or significant changes in Cm, Vinf, or Pthr (p = 0.744, p = 0.295, p = 0.651, respectively; all N = 21). Conclusion Our results provide viscoelastic and thermodynamic evidence supporting an additional benefit of iVES-bPFMT to bladder storage in SUI patients by modifying bladder compliance, possibly due to the potentiated hypogastric tone, which did not occur in TOT-treated SUI patients.Clinical trial registration: ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT02185235 and NCT05977231.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Until a few years ago, a midurethral sling was considered the gold standard for the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) after failure of conservative therapies. However, criticisms regarding the rate of mesh exposure and lack of long-term efficacy have led to reconsideration of other surgical procedures. Our aim was to investigate long-term subjective and objective outcomes after injection of Macroplastique, a urethral bulking agent. METHODS We prospectively enrolled all consecutive women complaining of pure SUI symptoms with urodynamically proven SUI who received a Macroplastique injection. We investigated patient-reported subjective outcomes using International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-Short Form, Urogenital Distress Inventory, Patient Global Impression of Improvement, and Visual Analog Scale (VAS) questionnaires, and the cough stress test to assess objective outcomes. Adverse events were recorded during follow-up. KEY FINDINGS AND LIMITATIONS At 10 yr after Macroplastique injection, the objective cure rate was 56% and 71% of patients reported that they were satisfied. Long-term data revealed no significant decline in subjective or objective cure rates. No serious complications were reported. Study limitations include the small sample size and the lack of pad tests and bladder diaries for postoperative evaluations. CONCLUSIONS AND CLINICAL IMPLICATIONS Our study shows that Macroplastique injection can be an effective and safe option for the treatment of female SUI in the long term, even when used in the first-line setting. PATIENT SUMMARY We evaluated outcomes for women with stress urinary incontinence (SUI) who were treated with an injection of Macroplastique gel into the wall of the urethra to prevent leakage of urine. We found that this is a safe option for treatment of female SUI that is effective in the long term.

Abstract
Purpose The primary aim of this study was to evaluate the indications and additional information provided by videourodynamic study (VUDS) over urodynamic studies (UDS) in men with spinal cord injury (SCI) and neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction (NLUTD). The secondary aim was to determine the added value of VUDS and its impact on bladder management. Materials and Methods Single-centre retrospective study of all men with SCI who underwent VUDS between 2011 and 2021. Participant characteristics, clinical data and indications for UDS and VUDS as well as bladder management were recorded. The added value of VUDS was defined as additional information not provided by standard UDS that impacted on bladder management (choice of voiding mode, surgical indication or type of surgery). Results Eighty-eight men with a median age of 52 years were included. In 20 men who were unable to perform self-catheterisation, the VUDS clarified the nature and extent of the obstruction and enabled targeted surgery to achieve reflex bladder emptying in all of them. VUDS also clarified the type and level of obstruction in 28 patients, enabling targeted surgery in 24. In 11 men, VUDS was performed as part of the preoperative assessment for a Brindley procedure or after this operation if a complication occurred during follow-up to confirm the need for further surgery or to target surgical revision. Overall, VUDS had added value in 59 patients (67%). Conclusions VUDS had added value over UDS in specific situations; the additional information provided impacted on bladder management in men with SCI and NLUTD.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To develop and validate a simple prediction model to diagnose female bladder outlet obstruction (fBOO) because of the invasive nature of standard urodynamic studies (UDS) for diagnosing fBOO. METHODS We retrospectively analyzed the data of 728 women who underwent UDS at Tongji Hospital between 2011 and 2021. The definition of fBOO was Pdet.Qmax - 2.2 × Qmax > 5 (BOOIf > 5). Independent predictive factors of fBOO were determined by multivariable logistic regression analysis. These predictive factors were incorporated into a predictive model to assess the risk of fBOO. RESULTS Of the 728 patients, 249 (34.2%) were identified as having fBOO and these women were randomly assigned to two groups, a model development group and a model validation group. Multivariate logistic regression demonstrated that age, Qmax, flow time, and voiding efficiency were independent risk factors for fBOO. The predictive model of fBOO showed a satisfactory performance, with area under the curve being 0.811 (95% confidence interval [CI] 0.771-0.850, P < 0.001), which was confirmed to be 0.820 (95% CI 0.759-0.882, P < 0.001) with external validation. The calibration curve indicated that the predicted probability had an excellent correspondence to observed frequency. Decision curve analysis demonstrated a greater clinical net benefit compared with the strategies of treat all or treat none when the predicted risk was in a range of 3% and 75%. CONCLUSION A novel predictive model of fBOO was developed and validated based on clinical features and noninvasive test parameters in female patients with lower urinary tract symptoms. The model is a quick and easy-to-use tool to assess the risk of fBOO for urologists in their routine practice without an invasive UDS.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The number of urodynamic studies (UDS) has been declining steadily in recent decades, yet the reasons behind this trend remain poorly understood. This study aims to investigate the structural aspects of UDS in urology and explore the factors contributing to this decline. MATERIAL & METHODS We surveyed all urological departments performing UDS as well as a representative sample of private practices in Germany in 2023. We examined structural situation, waiting times, capacities and limitations of UDS. All invasive urodynamic examinations were defined as UDS. RESULTS In 2019, 259/474 (55%) urological departments in Germany performed UDS. 206/259 (80%) urological departments responded to the survey. 163/200 (82%) urological departments stated that their capacities were exhausted, a main reason being lack of medical and nursing staff. 54.8% urological departments performed more than 50% of their UDS for referring physicians. Urological departments with a low number of UDS/year (≤ 100) showed a shorter waiting time (up to 4 weeks: 49% vs. 30%; p = 0.01), reduced UDS capacities (55% vs. 12%; p < 0.001) and these capacities were often not fully utilized (25% vs. 9%; p = 0.007). 122/280 (44%) office urologists responded to the survey. 18/122 (15%) office urologists performed UDS. Main reasons for not offering UDS were lack of personnel and low reimbursement. CONCLUSION In German urological departments, UDS capacities are consistently fully utilized, primarily due to staffing shortages. This trend towards centralization prompts questions about the role of UDS in urologists' training.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Uroflowmetry (UF) is an established procedure in urology and is recommended before further investigations of neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction (NLUTD). Some authors even consider using UF instead of urodynamics (UD). Studies on the interrater reliability of UF regarding treatment recommendations are rare, and there are no relevant data on people with multiple sclerosis (PwMS). The aim of this study was to investigate the interrater reliability (IRR) of UF concerning diagnosis and therapy in PwMS prospectively. METHODS UF of 92 PwMS were assessed by 4 raters. The diagnostic criteria were normal findings (NFs), detrusor overactivity (DO), detrusor underactivity (DU), detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia (DSD) and bladder outlet obstruction (BOO). The possible treatment criteria were as follows: no treatment (NO), catheter placement (CAT), alpha-blockers, detrusor-attenuating medication, botulinum toxin (BTX), neuromodulation (NM), and physiotherapy/biofeedback (P/BF). IRR was assessed by kappa (κ). RESULTS κ of diagnoses were NFs = 0.22; DO = 0.17; DU = 0.07; DSD = 0.14; and BOO = 0.18. For therapies, the highest κ was BTX = 0.71, NO = 0.38 and CAT = 0.44. CONCLUSIONS There is a high influence of the individual rater. UD should be subject to the same analysis and a comparison should be made between UD and UF. This may have implications for the value of UF in the neuro-urological management of PwMS, although at present UD remains the gold standard for the diagnostics of NLUTD in PwMS.

Abstract
STUDY DESIGN This is a report of methods and tools for selection of task and individual configurations targeted for voluntary movement, standing, stepping, blood pressure stabilization, and facilitation of bladder storage and emptying using tonic-interleaved excitation of the lumbosacral spinal cord. OBJECTIVES This study aimed to present strategies used for selection of stimulation parameters for various motor and autonomic functions. CONCLUSIONS Tonic-interleaved functionally focused neuromodulation targets a myriad of consequences from spinal cord injury with surgical implantation of the epidural electrode at a single location. This approach indicates the sophistication of the human spinal cord circuitry and its important role in the regulation of motor and autonomic functions in humans.

Abstract
Detrusor sphincter dyssynergia (DSD) is defined as a detrusor contraction concurrent with an involuntary contraction of the urethral and/or periurethral striated muscles typically occurring in a patient with a spinal cord lesion above the sacral cord. Consequently, high urethral closure pressures during the detrusor contraction leads to high intravesical voiding pressure and large postvoid residuals, which can lead to significant complications in up to 50% of patients if DSD is not treated and followed-up regularly. DSD treatment options are centered around symptomatic management rather that addressing the underlying causative mechanisms.

Abstract
PURPOSE OF REVIEW Uroflowmetry is widely used for initial non-invasive evaluation of lower urinary tract disorders. Current clinical use is mostly restricted to a scrutiny of the maximum flow rate and uroflow pattern recorded by a conventional flowmeter in a health care facility. There are several advancements in our understanding and in available technologies that promise to transform clinical utilization of this simple test. RECENT FINDINGS Several aspects of the uroflow test in addition to maximum flow rate and uroflow pattern show potential diagnostic utility. This includes flow acceleration, uroflow indices, uroflow-electromyography including lag time, stop uroflow test, and uroflow-based nomograms. There are initial attempts to use artificial intelligence in analysis. There is also new data with regard to factors influencing variability of uroflow testing that might influence the diagnostic value in as yet uncertain ways including diurnal variability, postural variability, locational variability, and operator variability. There are new technologies for uroflow testing in a home environment allowing for easy repetition. However, there are several challenges owing to a paucity of clinical data and standardization. There are also critical lacunae in terminology that need to be addressed. There are exciting new advancements in the field of uroflowmetry. However, there is need to standardize and validate the newer uroflow tracing analyses and technologies.

Abstract
Bladder compliance is the relationship between detrusor pressure and bladder storage volume. We discuss the definition of compliance, how it may be accurately measured, and its clinical relevance. Specifically, we discuss the association between low compliance and upper urinary tract deterioration. We discuss medical and surgical therapies that have been demonstrated to improve compliance and reduce upper tract risk. Finally, we propose a model, which not only considers compliance but also differential pressure between the bladder and ureters, and how this may also be an accurate predictor of upper tract deterioration. We call for further investigation to test this model.

Abstract
Autonomic dysreflexia (AD) is a common autonomic complication of spinal cord injury (SCI) characterized by a sudden increase is blood pressure triggered by peripheral stimulation, such as bladder distention. Iatrogenic AD events often occur during various medical procedures including urodynamic assessments (UDSs) used to evaluate lower urinary tract (LUT) function in individuals with SCI. To date, there are no established clinical practices that would allow early detection of the development of episodes of AD. Heart rate variability (HRV) is a reliable and non-invasive metric for evaluating autonomic regulation of the cardiovascular system, with demonstrated utility in people with SCI during UDSs. We aim to provide a comprehensive evaluation of cardiovascular function during UDS-induced AD using ultra-short-term HRV analysis and identify changes in cardiovascular dynamics to predict the onset of AD. We assessed cardiovascular data in a total of 24 participants with sensorimotor complete SCI above T6 (17 males, 7 females, median age = 43 [36-50] years) who experienced AD during UDS. We used continuous electrocardiographic recordings to evaluate HRV in 60 sec overlapping windows during filling cystometry. The mean of "normal-to-normal" heartbeats (meanNN), its standard deviation (SDNN), and the root mean square of successive differences (RMSSD) were calculated and used in all subsequent analyses. We found that SDNN and RMSSD diminished during the early phase of bladder filling and sharply increased during AD. Using the lowest point of statistical variability in heart rate (i.e., SDNN), we were able to predict AD events within 240 sec (percentile 25-percentile 75: 172-339 sec) before the first systolic blood pressure peak after AD onset (sensitivity = 0.667; specificity = 0.875). Our results indicated a temporary increase in sympathetic activity during the early phase of bladder filling, which is followed by an increase in parasympathetic outflow to the heart when AD occurs. These findings have significant clinical implications that extend beyond the context of UDS and demonstrate the importance of identifying early changes in HRV in order to accurately predict AD episodes in people living with SCI.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Water vapor thermal therapy (Rezum) is a minimally invasive treatment for benign prostatic enlargement (BPE). Studies reporting urodynamic results regarding the procedure are rare. Our study aimed to assess the effectiveness of Rezum on urinary outcome parameters in a consecutive series of patients and compare urodynamic data before and after treatment. METHODS We retrospectively evaluated all the patients treated with Rezum between 07/2017 and 12/2023 at our institution. Patients who had more than one Rezum intervention, those who were unable to void (i.e., catheter-dependent patients), and those with insufficient data were excluded from the data analysis. Descriptive outcomes, such as symptom scores (IPSS, IPSS-QoL), peak flow in uroflowmetry (Qmax), post-micturition residual urine volume (PVR), and prostate volume (PVol), were analyzed. If available, preoperative and postoperative urodynamic results were evaluated. RESULTS In total, 250 Rezum procedures were performed during the observational period. After applying the exclusion criteria, the data from 193 patients were included in the analysis. Patients achieved significant symptom relief as measured using the IPSS (46% reduction) and IPSS-QoL scores (41% reduction). Qmax improved by 4.8 ml/s, as the mean PVR significantly decreased by 50%. PVol and PSA values decreased by 30% and 27.5%, respectively. In 19/193 patients with a urodynamic evaluation, pre- and postoperative data analysis showed a significant reduction in the bladder outlet obstruction index (BOOI) by approximately 70%. CONCLUSIONS Rezum is effective and can improve urinary symptoms. In appropriate patients, Rezum can significantly reduce the bladder outlet obstruction (BOO).

Abstract
Background Congenital lower urinary tract obstruction (LUTO) describes a heterogeneous group of congenital malformations. Posterior urethral valves (PUV) represent the most common entity. Familial occurrence has been described, suggestive of underlying genetic factors. LUTO can occur in various degrees of severity. In severe forms, oligohydramnios, pulmonary hypoplasia, and renal damage can occur resulting in high pre- and postnatal mortality. On the contrary, mild forms may become apparent through recurrent urinary tract infections. Such high phenotypic variability has been described even within the same family. Here, we systematically screened parents of affected children for symptoms of LUTO. Methods The study population consisted of parents of LUTO patients. Fathers over 50 years of age were excluded, to avoid inclusion of male phenocopies due to early prostatic hypertrophy. Uroflowmetry, ultrasonography for residual urine and hydronephrosis, and laboratory examination of standard renal retention parameters were assessed, and a detailed patient history was taken, including the assessment of the International Prostate Symptom Score. Results Twenty-nine of 42 LUTO families enrolled were found eligible for the present study. Of these, we identified five families in which the father had already been diagnosed with infravesical obstruction (17%). Of the remaining families, nine agreed to participate in our study. Of these nine families, eight families had a child affected with PUV and one family had a child with urethral stenosis. Here, we found two fathers and one mother with symptoms of LUTO suggestive of mild LUTO and one family, in which the unborn male fetal brother of the affected index patient was also diagnosed prenatally with LUTO. Conclusion Our observations suggest that LUTOs have a higher heritability than previously thought and that first-degree relatives of the affected should be clinically assessed for symptoms of LUTO.

Abstract
AIMS To investigate the usefulness of novel clinical diagnostic criteria based on noninvasive examination findings to diagnose urodynamic detrusor underactivity (DU) in men. METHODS We developed clinical diagnostic criteria to predict the presence of urodynamic DU in men as follows: (a) bladder voiding efficiency <70% on uroflowmetry, (b) existence of "sawtooth and interrupted waveforms" on uroflowmetry, and (c) ultrasonography-documented intravesical prostatic protrusion <10 mm. We analyzed the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), and negative predictive value (NPV) of these clinical criteria for diagnosing urodynamic DU in men aged 50 years or above with lower urinary tract symptoms who underwent urodynamic studies. RESULTS Of the 314 men analyzed (mean age, 72.4 years; mean detrusor contraction index [DCI], 98.8; and mean bladder outlet obstruction index [BOOI], 43.9), 89 men met this clinical DU diagnostic criteria. Of these, 79 men (88.8%) had urodynamic DU (DCI < 100 and BOOI < 40), nine (10.1%) had DU + BOO (DCI < 100 and BOOI ≥ 40), and one (1.1%) had normal voiding functions. None of the men with urodynamic BOO (DCI ≥ 100 and BOOI ≥ 40) met the clinical DU diagnostic criteria. The sensitivity, specificity, PPV, and NPV of these clinical diagnostic criteria for urodynamic DU were 69.3%, 95.0%, 88.8%, and 84.4%, respectively. CONCLUSION The proposed clinical DU diagnostic criteria showed a high PPV (88.8%) for diagnosing urodynamic DU. None of the patients with BOO met the clinical diagnostic criteria for DU. These clinical DU diagnostic criteria may be useful in identifying men with urodynamic DU in clinical practice.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The International Continence Society recommends zeroing of transducers to the atmospheric pressure for invasive urodynamics. The range of abdominal pressure relative to atmospheric pressure is well-known in adults but has not been described in children. This prospective observational study was carried out to establish baseline abdominal in children. MATERIALS AND METHODS Prospective, multicenter, observational study of 100 children aged 0-18 years undergoing invasive urodynamics using water-filled systems. Initial resting abdominal pressure, intravesical pressure and detrusor pressure were recorded in supine, sitting, and standing position (as age- and diagnosis-appropriate). This data was analyzed using SPSS 20.0.0 with regard to age, gender, height, weight, body mass index, and underlying diagnosis (classified as neurogenic or non-neurogenic). Nonparametric tests were used (2-sided p < 0.05, significant). RESULTS Initial resting abdominal pressure (inter-quartile range) in children was between 5 and 15 cmH2 O in the supine, 13-20 cmH2 O in the sitting, and 15-21 cmH2 O in the standing position. These pressures were not consistently influenced by age, gender, height, weight or underlying diagnosis. The initial resting detrusor pressure was noted to be 0-4 cmH2 O without any difference based on posture. Limitations include use of two-tube technique, relatively small number of subjects across each age group, wide range of underlying diagnoses and need for manual smoothing of some traces. CONCLUSION This study defines initial resting abdominal pressure at urodynamics in children and notes that, as with adults, it is possible to define widely applicable ranges regardless of individual characteristics. These pressures appear lower than those noted historically in adults.

Abstract
PURPOSE To design a quick checklist for urodynamic study (UDS), aiming to reduce the occurrence of errors in the process, which may help to increase the quality of UDS. And further to analyze the effectiveness of this quick checklist for UDS quality control. METHODS First, a quick checklist for uroflow study and pressure-flow study was developed, based on the International Continence Society-Good Urodynamic Practice standards, our previous studies, and recent literature, as well as expert suggestions. Then, patients who underwent UDS between January 2023 to February 2023 were randomly assigned to a study group or a control group. For the study group, the quick checklist was used throughout the UDS process, while the control group did not. The main artefacts were chosen to verify the effectiveness of the quick checklist for improving the UDS quality. RESULTS The quick checklist comprised three subtypes: checklist for patients, checklist for environment and device, and checklist for UDS test process. 38 UDS traces per group were included. The incidence of missing the standard cough test decreased significantly from 18.4% to 0 (p = 0.012), with the checklist implementation. The baseline drift frequency rate also declined significantly from 39.5% to 5.3% (p < 0.05). Volume < 150 mL on uroflow study occurred in 68.4% of cases and its frequency rate decreased significantly with checklist implementation (p < 0.05). CONCLUSION A quick checklist for quality control of UDS was developed. The quick checklist as a convenient, quick, and easy used urodynamic quality control method, may help to reduce the technical artefacts and improve fundamental urodynamic quality control. Future research with a larger sample size is needed to confirm the effectiveness of the checklist.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Uroflowmetry is useful to screen for and manage many voiding disorders. Home-based uroflowmetry might better represent the patient's true voiding pattern and be more widely adopted if an accurate low-cost portable device was available. OBJECTIVE Development and initial evaluation of an open-platform, open-source low-cost portable uroflowmeter. MATERIALS AND METHODS We designed and built an uroflowmeter comprising of a load cell and digital memory card unit connected to a programmable microcontroller board mounted upon a 3D printed frame. It generated date-stamped tables which were processed and plotted. Twenty urologists were recruited to assess the device. Each participant received the equipment that was returned, along with a bladder diary, after at least 24 consecutive hours of homemade uroflowmetry recording. Additionally, were assessed with the International Prostatic Symptom Score (I-PSS) and Peeling diagram, whereas the device's ease of use, robustness, and portability were evaluated with a Likert-type questionnaire. Two experienced urodynamicists independently evaluated the tracings' quality rated with a 3° ordinal scale: (1) Interpretable without artifacts; (2) Interpretable with artifacts; (3) Uninterpretable. RESULTS Participants' median age was 36.6 years old, none having an I-PSS > 5 or Peeling > 2. Overall 138 voidings were recorded (77 daytime, 61 nightly episodes). The device's ease of use, robustness, and portability obtained maximum score in 80% of evaluations. Most (98%) of the tracings were considered interpretable. Limitations included its small study population and short monitoring times. CONCLUSION The construction of a cheap (<50 USD), accurate user-friendly portable uroflowmeter proved feasible, which could facilitate access to portable uroflowmetry.

Abstract
We investigated the impact and predictive value of bladder function in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) on the efficacy of transurethral prostatectomy. Symptomatic, imaging, and urodynamic data of patients who underwent transurethral prostatectomy at West China Hospital of Sichuan University (Chengdu, China) from July 2019 to December 2021 were collected. Follow-up data included the quality of life (QoL), International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), and IPSS storage and voiding (IPSS-s and IPSS-v). Moreover, urinary creatinine (Cr), nerve growth factor (NGF), brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), and prostaglandin estradiol (PGE2) were measured in 30 patients with BPH and 30 healthy participants. Perioperative indicators were determined by subgroup analyses and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Among the 313 patients with BPH included, patients with severe micturition problems had more improvements but higher micturition grades postoperatively than those with moderate symptoms. Similarly, good bladder sensation, compliance, and detrusor contractility (DC) were predictors of low postoperative IPSS and QoL. The urinary concentrations of BDNF/Cr, NGF/Cr, and PGE2/Cr in patients were significantly higher than those in healthy participants (all P < 0.001). After evaluation, only DC was significantly related to both urinary indicators and postoperative recovery of patients. Patients with good DC, as predicted by urinary indicators, had lower IPSS and IPSS-v than those with reduced DC at the 1 st month postoperatively (both P < 0.05). In summary, patients with impaired bladder function had poor recovery. The combined levels of urinary BDNF/Cr, NGF/Cr, and PGE2/Cr in patients with BPH may be valid predictors of preoperative bladder function and postoperative recovery.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze urodynamics findings and patient-reported outcomes after removal of a mid-urethral mesh because data regarding outcomes following mesh removal vary in different studies, and mesh removal itself may have risks. METHODS Women who were referred to the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Department of University College London Hospital and underwent vaginal removal of a continence mesh between January 2014 and January 2020, were included. Patient clinical data and results of video-urodynamics investigations performed 4 months after mesh removal were collected and analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS In all, 204 patients were included in the study. After mesh removal, 80.5% of patients reported recurrent stress urinary incontinence (SUI), 10.1% reported prolapse symptoms, 8% reported voiding dysfunction and 2.9% reported overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms. Video-urodynamics investigations confirmed the presence of SUI (67.6%), mixed urinary incontinence (14.3%), detrusor overactivity (DO) (6.8%) and voiding dysfunction in one patient. In two women a urethral stricture was described, and 10 women were deemed to have a significant cystocele. CONCLUSION Recurrence of SUI was the most frequent finding after continence mesh removal, both symptomatically and objectively. Women seldom reported OAB symptoms, but urodynamics showed evidence of DO despite this. On the other hand, voiding dysfunction was often reported but less often proven on urodynamics.

Abstract
We aimed to determine the risk factors for postoperative overactive bladder (OAB) in patients treated with an adjustable trans-obturator male system (ATOMS) for stress incontinence after radical treatment of prostate cancer. A prospective study was performed on 56 patients implanted with an ATOMS for PPI. Clinical and urodynamic information was recorded before and after ATOMS implantation. We built a multivariate model to find out the clinical and urodynamic factors that independently influenced postoperative OAB and the prognostic factors that influenced the efficacy of medical treatment of OAB. We found that the clinical risk factors were the preoperative intensity of urinary incontinence (number of daily pads used and amount of urinary leakage), International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire (ICIQ) score, postoperative number of ATOMS adjustments, final cushion volume, and incontinence cure. The urodynamic data associated with OAB were cystometric bladder capacity, voided volume, volume at initial involuntary contraction (IC), maximum flow rate, bladder contractility index (BCI), and urethral resistance (URA). The prognostic factors for the efficacy of oral treatment of OAB were the volume at the first IC (direct relationship) and the maximum abdominal voiding pressure (inverse relationship). The multivariate model showed that the independent clinical risk factors were the daily pad count before the implantation and the ICIQ score at baseline and after treatment. The independent urodynamic data were the volume at the first IC (inverse relationship) and the URA value (direct relationship). Both predictive factors of treatment efficacy were found to be independent. Detrusor overactivity plays an important role in postoperative OAB, although other urodynamic and clinical factors such as the degree of urethral resistance and abdominal strength may influence this condition.

Abstract
PURPOSE To identify the urodynamic parameters affecting the clinical outcomes of transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP) surgery for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) by multifactor analysis and establish a regression model with diagnostic values. METHODS The medical records of patients who underwent TURP surgery for BPH between December 2018 and September 2021 were collected from the urology department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University, Kunming, China. The patients' clinical data and urodynamic parameters were collected before surgery. The urodynamic parameters affecting surgical efficacy were identified by multifactor analysis, and a regression model with diagnostic values was established and evaluated. RESULTS A total of 201 patients underwent TURP, of whom 144 had complete preoperative urodynamic data. Each urodynamic factor was subjected to multifactor analysis, and the bladder contractility index (BCI), bladder outflow obstruction index (BOOI), bladder residual urine, and bladder compliance (BC) were found to be independent influence factors on the efficacy of TURP in patients with BPH. The diagnostic value of the regression model was analyzed by receiver operating characteristics (ROC) analysis, and it was found that the AUC = 0.939 (95% CI 0.886-0.972), for which the sensitivity and specificity were 95.19% and 80%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS The regression model had high diagnostic sensitivity and specificity in predicting the efficacy of surgery, and the diagnostic value was higher than that of individual urodynamic factors. Therefore, BCI, BOOI, bladder residual urine, and BC should be considered as independent influence factors on the efficacy of TURP surgery for BPH.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE We aimed to explore the long-term outcomes of bipolar transurethral enucleation and resection of the prostate (B-TUERP) in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). METHODS A total of 1195 patients with BPH who underwent B-TUERP from July 2006 to June 2010 were enrolled in this retrospective study. Preoperative data, particularly urodynamic study (UDS) parameters, were collected by questionnaire and examination. Postoperative follow-up was performed at 3, 6, 12, 36, 60 and 120 months, respectively. Demographic, perioperative and functional data were analysed. International Prostate Symptom Score, quality of life and overactive bladder syndrome score (OABSS) were used to assess the functional scores. Predictors of postoperative urgency incontinence were identified by univariate analysis. RESULTS Long-term outcomes of functional score were significantly better than the preoperative values. All UDS variables, including maximum urinary flow rate, postvoid residual urine volume, compliance, maximum cystometric capacity (MCC), bladder outlet obstruction index, prostatic urethral pressure and detrusor pressure at maximum urinary flow rate, were all significantly improved. No one required reoperation due to recurrent BPH. The postoperative rate of transient urinary incontinence was 31.7%, while the long-term incontinence rate was 0%. Retrograde ejaculation occurred in 44.3% patients who remained sexually active after operation. Patients who had transient urge incontinence were older with preoperative higher OABSS, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and detrusor overactivity rate and lower MCC. CONCLUSION B-TUERP is a safe, successful and highly effective treatment for BPH at 10-year follow-up. Increased age, OABSS, PSA level and detrusor overactivity rate are potential predictors for urge incontinence after B-TUERP.

Abstract
Botulinum toxin-A (BoNT-A) injections into the external urethral sphincter are an established therapeutic procedure for reducing bladder outlet obstruction in patients with detrusor sphincter dyssynergia (DSD) due to spinal cord injury (SCI). Given the paucity of data on patients with DSD but without SCI, we aimed to assess the efficacy of intrasphincteric BoNT-A injections in this cohort. For this retrospective study, we screened all patients who underwent their first intrasphincteric BoNT-A injection at our institution between 2015 and 2021. The inclusion criteria were patients aged 18 years or older with neurogenic detrusor overactivity (NDO) and DSD with a maximum detrusor pressure (Pdetmax) of >40 cmH2O, confirmed via video-urodynamic studies (VUDS). The primary outcome was a reduction in Pdetmax and detrusor overactivity leak point pressure (DOLPP) during NDO-associated urinary incontinence posttreatment. The secondary outcome was a reduction in patients relying on indwelling urinary catheters posttreatment. We included 13 eligible patients (all male, median age 31 years, with different underlying neurological disorders, except SCI). All underwent intrasphincteric BoNT-A injections with either 100 (n = 7) or 150 (n = 6) units, respectively. Pdetmax during voiding was significantly reduced posttreatment (median 105 vs. 54 cmH2O, p = 0.006), whereas DOLPP remained unchanged (i.e., median 50 cmH2O). While seven patients relied on indwelling urinary catheters pre-treatment, all were catheter-free posttreatment. Intrasphincteric BoNT-A injections in patients with non-SCI related DSD appear feasible for reducing bladder outlet obstruction to a certain degree in this cohort and subsequently for reducing the rate of indwelling catheters.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To establish the initial (before pressure equilibrium) and initial resting intravesical and abdominal pressure in the sitting position using air-filled catheters, to assess the correlation between these pressures and obesity-related measurements, and to estimate if obesity-related measurements can be a guide to interpret initial and initial resting pressures in urodynamic testing. METHODS Patients with non-neurogenic lower urinary tract symptoms referred for urodynamic testing in our center were consecutively enrolled in a prospective study from August 2022 to October 2022. The correlation between the initial and initial resting pressures (before and after pressure equilibrium) and obesity-related measurements were analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression analysis. RESULTS Ninety-eight patients aged 56 ± 16 were studied. The 95% range of the initial intravesical and abdominal pressure were 18-42 cmH2 O and 21-60 cmH2 O, respectively. The initial resting intravesical, abdominal, and detrusor pressure in the 95% range were 17-41, 16-42, and -5 to 4 cmH2 O, respectively. Over the multiple analysis, abdominal fat thickness, and body mass index (BMI) correlated independently with initial intravesical pressure, and only visceral fat grade correlated with initial abdominal pressure. BMI correlated independently with initial resting intravesical pressure. CONCLUSIONS Our results determined the ranges of values of both initial and initial resting pressures in the air-charged system. Meanwhile, the present study indicated the obesity-related measurements may be used as a guide to interpret the initial and initial resting pressures in urodynamic testing, and may provide a reference for the quality control of these pressures.

Abstract
BACKGROUND To determine the correlation between international prostate symptom score (IPSS) questionnaire, completed by benign prostatic enlargement patients with the aid of their physicians and the peak urine flow rate from uroflowmetry. MATERIALS AND METHODS This was a prospective study carried out over a period of one year (which year and which period). IPSS questionnaire was administered, and uroflowmetry done for 76 consecutive patients from urology clinic of University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) who consented to the study. RESULTS Seventy-six patients were recruited for the study. The mean age of the patients was 63.53 ± 9.84. Using the international prostate symptom score to assess symptoms severity, 16 patients had mild symptoms, 36 patients had moderate symptoms, while 24 patients had severe symptoms. The means quality-of-life score was 4.42 ± 1.83. Fifty-eight patients had obstructed peak flow rate (Qmax) on uroflowmetry, 14 patients had equivocal Qmax, while 4 patients had normal Qmax. Statistically significant, negative medium correlations were observed between Qmax and total IPSS, Qmax and the IPSS voiding and storage subscores, as well as Qmax and disease specific quality-of-life score (QoL). CONCLUSION There is a statistically significant medium negative correlation between total IPSS and Qmax. This negative medium correlation was also observed between Qmax and IPSS subscores and between Qmax and QoL.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To preoperative factors that could predict the persisting storage symptoms after Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP). METHODS Medical records of 257 patients who underwent HoLEP between December 2014 and January 2021 were reviewed. Participants with a follow-up period exceeding 6 months were included. Preoperative data, including International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), uroflowmetry, prostate size, and prostate-specific antigen, were collected. All participants underwent a preoperative urodynamic study. The correlation between perioperative variables and postoperative medication therapy (antimuscarinics or beta-3 agonists) was assessed. RESULTS Out of 257 participants in the study, 46 (18.6%) were allocated to the medication group, of which 25 (54.3%) initiated medication therapy postoperatively. The medication group showed worse postoperative IPSS storage symptom score and quality of life score compared to the medication-free group (p = 0.048 and p = 0.002, respectively), but no significant differences were observed in complications or operative variables. In the de-novo medication group, patients had lower preoperative Qmax , larger prostate volume, and smaller maximum cystometric capacity (MCC) compared to the persisting medication group (p = 0.020, p = 0.009, and p = 0.008, respectively). Overactive bladder (OAB) history, terminal detrusor overactivity (DO), and IPSS urgency item were identified as possible predictive factors for post-HoLEP medication use. CONCLUSIONS Preoperative factors such as OAB history, terminal DO, and IPSS urgency item may predict the need for post-HoLEP medication therapy. Further follow-up studies are warranted to understand the characteristics of the de-novo medication group due to the significant discomfort it can cause to patients.

Abstract
AIMS The working group (WG) initiated by the International Continence Society Standardization Steering Committee and supported by the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction has revised the (1997) ICS Standard for pressure flow studies. METHODS Based on the ICS standard for developing evidence-based standards, the WG developed this new ICS standard in the period from May 2020 to December 2022. A draft was posted on the ICS website in January 2023 to facilitate public discussion and the comments received have been incorporated into this final release. RESULTS The WG summarizes the theory and recommends the practice and the terms used for the diagnosis of voiding dysfunction for adult female and male patients without relevant neurological abnormalities, in part 1 of this standard. The WG has also recommended standard principles and parameters for objective and continuous grading of urethral resistance and detrusor voiding contraction on the basis of pressure flow studies in part 2. The recommendations for practice in this part have also the aim to increase the understanding of the physiology as well as the psychology of voiding. The potential effects of the laboratory situation of the test on the voiding as well as the role of the urodynamicist in this regard are discussed. The WG has recommended to use for diagnosis only the voidings that are considered representative by the patient. CONCLUSION A pressure flow study is the gold standard to assess voiding function and to quantify dysfunction. Abstract
AIMS The Working Group (WG), initiated by the International Continence Society (ICS) Standardisation Steering Committee and supported by the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction, has revised the ICS Standard for pressure-flow studies of 1997. METHODS Based on the ICS standard for developing evidence-based standards, the WG developed this new ICS standard in the period from May 2020 to December 2022. A draft was posted on the ICS website in December 2022 to facilitate public discussion and the comments received have been incorporated into this final release. RESULTS The WG has recommended analysis principles for the diagnosis of voiding dysfunction for adult men and women without relevant neurological abnormalities. New standard terms and parameters for objective and continuous grading of urethral resistance (UR), bladder outflow obstruction (BOO) and detrusor voiding contraction (DVC) are introduced in this part 2 of the standard. The WG has summarized the theory and recommendations for the practice of pressure-flow study (PFS) for patients in part 1. A pressure-flow plot is recommended for the diagnosis of every patient, in addition to time-based graphs. Voided percentage and post void residual volume should always be included in PFS analysis and diagnosis. Only parameters that represent the ratio or subtraction of pressure and synchronous flow are recommended to quantify UR and only parameters that combine pressure and flow in a product or sum are recommended to quantify DVC. The ICS BOO index and the ICS detrusor contraction index are introduced in this part 2 as the standard. The WG has suggested clinical PFS dysfunction classes for male and female patients. A pressure-flow scatter graph including every patient's pdet at maximum flow (pdetQmax ) with maximum flow rate (Qmax ) point should be included in all scientific reports considering voiding dysfunction. CONCLUSION PFS is the gold standard used to objectively assess voiding function. Quantifying the dysfunction and grading of abnormalities are standardized for adult males and females.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION A pressure flow study (PFS), part of the International Continence Society standard urodynamic test, is regarded gold standard for the classification and quantification of the urethral resistance (UR), expressed in the bladder outflow obstruction (BOO). For men with benign prostatic hyperplasia, the minimum urethral opening pressure (pmuo ), found at the end of the passive urethral resistance relation is considered the relevant parameter describing BOO. However, in clinical practice, direct measurements of pmuo are easily confounded by terminal dribbling. For that reason, alternative methods were developed to derive pmuo , and thereby assess BOO using the maximum urine flow rate (Qmax ) and the corresponding pressure (pdetQmax ) instead. These methods were never directly compared against a large data set. With the increasing variety of treatments becoming available more precise grading of UR may become of relevance. The current study compares four well-known methods to approximate pmuo and examines the relation between pmuo and pdetQmax . METHODS In total, 1717 high-quality PFS of men referred with lower urinary tract symptoms between 2003 and 2020 without earlier lower urinary tract surgery were included. From these recordings, pmuo was calculated according to three one-parameter methods. In addition, a three-parameter method (3PM) was used, based on a fit through the lowest pressure flank of the pressure-flow plot. The estimated pmuo 's were compared with a precisely assessed pmuo . A difference of <10 cmH2 O between an estimate and the actual pmuo was considered accurate. A comparison between the four approximation methods and the actual pmuo was visualized using a Bland-Altman plot. The differences between the actual and the estimated slope were assessed and dependency on pmuo was analyzed. RESULTS A total of 1717 studies were analyzed. In 55 (3.2%) PFS, 3PM analysis was impossible because all pressures after Qmax were higher than pdetQmax . The 3PM model was superior in predicting pmuo , with 75.9% of the approximations within a range of +10 or -10 cmH2 O of the actual pmuo . Moreover, pmuo according to urethral resistance A (URA) and linearized passive urethral resistance relation (linPURR) appear equally reliable. Bladder outflow obstruction index (BOOI) was significantly less accurate when compared to all others. Bland-Altman analysis showed a tendency of BOOI to overestimate pmuo in men with higher grades of UR, while URA tended to underestimate pmuo in those cases. The slope between pmuo and pdetQmax -Qmax increased with larger pmuo , as opposed to the constant relation proposed within BOOI. Although significant differences were found, the clinical relevance of those differences is not known. CONCLUSION Of the four methods to estimate pmuo and quantify BOO, 3PM was found the most accurate and BOOI the least accurate. As 3PM is not generally available and performance in lower quality PFS is unknown, linPURR is (for now) the most physiologically accurate.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Physiological pelvic floor function is essential for maintaining the appropriate storage and voiding function of the lower urinary tract. Disorders of pelvic floor function can consist of both hypofunction and hyperfunction and can result in urge symptoms, urinary incontinence, disorders of the micturition process, urinary retention, and chronic pelvic floor pain, as well as endangering the upper urinary tract. Thus, these disorders can be complex in their cause and effect. An exact diagnosis and initiation of a target-specific therapy of the respective functional disorder can only be achieved by the interaction of functional and imaging diagnostics. OBJECTIVES The aim of this article is therefore to present these special imaging techniques from the perspective of functional urology and neuro-urology. METHODS This paper presents the available imaging techniques in the diagnosis of pelvic floor dysfunction and places them in the diagnostic context of lower urinary tract dysfunction.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Bladder dysfunction and associated complications of the urinary system negatively impact the quality of life in children living with spinal cord injury (SCI). Pediatric lower urinary tract deficits include bladder over-activity, inefficient emptying, decreased compliance, and incontinence. Recent evidence in adults with SCI indicates significant improvements in bladder capacity and detrusor pressure following participation in an activity-based recovery locomotor training (ABR-LT) rehabilitative program. Additionally, anecdotal self-reports from parents in our Pediatric NeuroRecovery Program reference changes in bladder function, ranging from awareness of bladder fullness to gains in voluntary control while undergoing ABR-LT. CASE PRESENTATION In a within-subjects repeated measures study, we investigated the effect of ABR-LT on bladder function in three children (ages: 2.5, 3, and 6 years) who sustained upper motor neuron SCI. Each child received at least 60 sessions of ABR-LT (5x/week) for 12-14 weeks. Bladder function was assessed via urodynamics and the Common Data Elements questionnaires. Awareness of bladder filling during cystometry was present in all children and detrusor leak point pressure (LPP) was reduced post-ABR-LT relative to pre-training. A decrease in LPP after locomotor training was observed in all three participants. One out of the three participants had substantial improvements in bladder capacity post-ABR-LT and experienced less bowel incontinence following training. DISCUSSION Like our evidence in adults, the changes in bladder function suggest an interaction between lumbosacral networks regulating spinal reflex control of bladder filling, voiding, and afferent input (including potential descending supraspinal commands) and those activated by ABR-LT. Locomotor training may be associated with increased bladder capacity, enhanced perception of bladder filling, and decreased LPP as well as improvements in bowel control in pediatric SCI. This research suggests that children and adolescents with traumatic SCI could experience dynamic improvements in bladder and bowel function with the aid of various therapies. Studies assessing the durability of training on the recovery of bladder and bowel dysfunction in children with SCI are needed.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate quality of life (QOL) after non-nerve-sparing, robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) and factors associated with worsened QOL. METHODS Patients who underwent non-nerve-sparing RARP (n = 115) were enrolled. The Expanded Prostate Cancer Index Composite and 8-item Short Form Health Survey were used to evaluate QOL at baseline and postoperative 1, 3, 6, 12, and 24 months. Preoperative factors were evaluated by multivariate analysis for worsened QOL. RESULTS Postoperative 24-month urinary QOL worsened in 68 of 115 (59%) patients. In multivariate analysis, membranous urethral length ≥10.8 mm [odds ratio (OR): .26, 95% confidence interval (CI): .07-.96] and intravesical prostatic protrusion ≥12 mm (OR: .14, 95% CI .06-.35) were significantly associated with maintaining postoperative 24-month urinary QOL. Significantly more patients with intravesical prostatic protrusion ≥12 mm than < 12 mm had improved urinary QOL. At postoperative 24 months, 43 of 115 (38%) patients had worsened sexual QOL. In multivariate analysis, higher Sexual Health Inventory for Men score (OR: 8.39, 95% CI 2.28-30.9), sexual activity (OR: 6.94, 95% CI: 2.27-21.2), and intercourse activity (OR: 6.81, 95% CI: 1.64-28.3) preoperatively were significantly associated with worsened postoperative 24-month sexual QOL. More patients with high preoperative intercourse activity (12/23,53%) had significantly worsened (p = .009) QOL regarding sexual bother than those who had no preoperative intercourse activity (21/92, 23%). CONCLUSION After non-nerve-sparing RARP, patients with long membranous urethral length and/or intravesical prostatic protrusion maintain urinary QOL. Patients with high intercourse activity presented with impairment of sexual QOL after non-nerve-sparing RARP.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To elucidate the characteristics of uroflowmetry (UFM) observed in men with detrusor underactivity (DU) using our developed artificial intelligence (AI) diagnostic algorithm to distinguish between DU and bladder outlet obstruction (BOO). METHODS Subjective and objective parameters, including four UFM parameters (first peak flow rate, time to first peak, gradient to first peak, and the ratio of first peak flow rate to maximum flow rate [Qmax ]) selected by analyzing the judgment basis of the AI diagnostic system, were compared in 266 treatment-naive men with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). Patients were divided into the DU (70; 26.32%) and non-DU (196; 73.68%) groups, and the UFM parameters for predicting the presence of DU were determined by multivariate analysis and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Detrusor underactivity was defined as a bladder contractility index <100 and a BOO index <40. RESULTS Most parameters on the first peak flow of UFM were significantly lower in the DU group. On multivariate analysis, lower first peak flow rate and lower ratio of first peak flow rate to Qmax were significant parameters to predict DU. In the ROC analysis, the ratio of the first peak flow rate to Qmax showed the highest area under the curve (0.848) and yielded sensitivities of 76% and specificities of 83% for DU diagnosis, with cutoff values of 0.8. CONCLUSIONS Parameters on the first peak flow of UFM, especially the ratio of the first peak flow rate to Qmax , can diagnose DU with high accuracy in men with LUTS.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Little is known about the effect of catheterization during pressure-flow studies (PFS) on voiding efficiency in children. Our objective was to determine the effect of urethral catheterization on Qmax and flow index (FI) during PFS compared to the free flow of uroflowmetry (UF). METHODS We retrospectively reviewed 63 consecutive children who underwent UF and PFS at our center on the same day (2019-2022). Voiding data was available for 46 patients. Patients first underwent a UF with full bladder, then PFS after urethral catheter insertion. Patients with urethral pathologies (n = 6), on clean intermittent catheterization (CIC) (n = 2) and with major comorbidities (n = 2) were excluded. Indications for UF/PFS were LUTS, recurrent UTIs, incontinence or neurosurgical pre-operative evaluation. Data was collected from the UF and the PFS and compared using paired t-test. The idealized Qmax and flow index (FI) were calculated for UF and PFS using the formulas described by Franco et al.: Male Qmax = 11.26 + 0.0701(TBC [total bladder capacity]) - 0.0000513(TBC); Female Qmax = 10.723 + 0.073(TBC) - 0.0000423(TBC), FI = Actual Qmax/Expected Qmax (Franco and et al., 2016; Franco et al., 2018; Franco and et al., 2016). RESULTS Median age was 7 years old (IQR 5-11). Twenty-one (40%) patients were male and 32 (60%) patients were female. Of the 53 patients, 3 boys and 4 girls (n = 7; 13%) were unable to void with the catheter in place during PFS but able to void after its removal. Of the remaining 46 cases, the Qmax during PFS was 5 mL/s slower than the Qmax recorded on the UF without catheter, representing a decrease of 29% (12.3 vs 17.3 mL/s; p < 0.0001). The impact of urethral catheter during PFS was more important in males vs females (Qmax decreased by 7.7 vs 3.3 mL/s, or 45 vs 19%). The mean FI during PFS was 44%, which was a 30% reduction compared to the 74% FI obtained with UF (p < 0.00001). In males, the FI decreased by 37% on PFS, whereas it decreased 26% in females, similar to the Qmax decrease. CONCLUSIONS Voiding efficiency, as assessed by Qmax and FI, is decreased during PFS compared to uroflow studies. Our data documents for the first time the impact of urethral catheterization on pediatric voiding efficiency. Abnormal flow rates and elevated PVRs should be used to guide patient management only if obtained by uroflow. Prospective validation comparing free flow with PFS studies will help characterize the impact of urethral catheter relative to bladder pathology, age, gender and catheter size used.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To develop two intelligent diagnosis models of detrusor overactivity (DO) based on deep learning to assist doctors no longer heavily rely on visual observation of urodynamic study (UDS) curves. METHODS UDS curves of 92 patients were collected during 2019. We constructed two DO event recognition models based on convolutional neural network (CNN) with 44 samples, and tested the model performance with the remaining 48 samples by comparing other four classical machine learning models. During the testing phase, we developed a threshold screening strategy to quickly filter out suspected DO event segments in each patient's UDS curve. If two or more DO event fragments are determined to be DO by the diagnostic model, the patient is diagnosed as having DO. RESULTS We extracted 146 DO event samples and 1863 non-DO event samples from the UDS curves of 44 patients to train CNN models. Through 10-fold cross-validation, the training accuracy and validation accuracy of our models achieved the highest accuracy. In the model testing phase, we used a threshold screening strategy to quickly screen out the suspected DO event samples in the UDS curve of another 48 patients, and then input them into the trained models. Finally, the diagnostic accuracy of patients without DO and patients with DO was 78.12% and 100%, respectively. CONCLUSION Under the available data, the accuracy of the DO diagnostic model based on CNN is satisfactory. With the increase of the amount of data, the deep learning model is likely to have better performance. Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the clinical and urodynamic variables that may predict the failure of alpha-blockers in primary bladder neck obstruction (PBNO) patients. Alpha-blockers are useful as a treatment option in patients with PBNO. Nonresponders need to undergo bladder neck incision (BNI). Little is known about the predictive factors determining the success of treatment. MATERIALS AND METHODS This was a retrospective study, spanning over a period of 8 years. PBNO was diagnosed in the presence of a bladder outlet obstruction index (BOOI) >40 with video-urodynamic evidence of obstruction at the bladder neck. The patients were initially managed with alpha-blockers (alfuzosin and tamsulosin) for 3-6 months, and BNI contemplated when pharmacotherapy failed. The patients with upper tract changes managed with upfront BNI or clean intermittent catheterization were excluded. The data for the international prostate symptom score (IPSS), uroflowmetry, urodynamic studies, and ultrasonography of pre and post-treatment periods were reviewed. Treatment outcomes were defined as complete response (>50% improvement in Qmax and IPSS score) and partial response (30%-50% improvement in Qmax and IPSS score) at 3 or 6 months. RESULTS Ninety-nine patients were analyzed. 21 patients underwent BNI for the failure of medical management and 31 for recurrence of symptoms at a mean follow-up of 18.8 ± 3.5 months (12-70 months). Independent predictors of failure of pharmacotherapy with alpha-blockers were age (P = .021), Pdet@Qmax (P = .015), and BOOI (P = .019). CONCLUSION Alpha-blockers are more likely to fail in PBNO in younger patients generating higher voiding pressures and BOOI > 60.

Abstract
The aim of this retrospective exploratory study was to investigate the prevalence of unfavorable findings during video-urodynamic studies (VUDS) in patients with minimally conscious state (MCS)/unresponsive wakefulness syndrome (UWS) and whether management of the lower urinary tract (LUT) was adjusted accordingly. A retrospective chart review was conducted to screen for patients diagnosed with MCS/UWS at our rehabilitation center between 2011 and 2020. Patients 18 years or older were included and underwent baseline VUDS after being diagnosed with MCS/UWS. We analyzed urodynamic parameters and subsequent changes in LUT management in this cohort. In total, 32 patients (7 females, 25 males, median age 37 years) with MCS/UWS were included for analysis. While at least one unfavorable VUDS finding (i.e., neurogenic detrusor overactivity [NDO], detrusor sphincter dyssynergia {DSD, high maximum detrusor pressure during storage phase [>40 cmH2O], low-compliance bladder [<20 mL/cmH2O], and vesico-uretero-renal reflux [VUR]) was found in each patient, NDO (78.1%, 25/32) and DSD (68.8%, 22/32) were the two most frequent unfavorable VUDS findings. Following baseline VUDS, new LUT treatment options were established in 56.3% (18/32) of all patients. In addition, bladder-emptying methods were changed in 46.9% (15/32) of all patients, resulting in fewer patients relying on indwelling catheters. Our retrospective exploratory study revealed a high prevalence of NDO and DSD in patients with MCS/UWS, illustrating the importance of VUDS to adapt LUT management in this cohort accordingly.

Abstract
Robot-assisted VVF (RA-VVF) repair has the advantage of small cystotomy, precise dissection and minimal surrounding tissue trauma. Translation of this to better functional outcomes is not studied so far. This study aims to evaluate the quality of life, voiding, and sexual dysfunction following robot-assisted VVF repair. Women with successful RA-VVF repair were screened using UDI-6, IIQ-7, FSFI, and WHOQOL-BREF questionnaires. The preoperative assessment was done in the prospective cohort only. Of the 75 women who underwent RA-VVF repair, 47 were enrolled, 33 in retrospective, and 14 in a prospective cohort. Overall, 28 (60%) women had urinary complaints with a median UDI-6 total score of 4 (0-100) and IIQ-7 score (0-23) in 5 (10%) women. However, UDS (15 women) showed no DO with cystometric capacity (352 ± 98.12) ml and normal compliance in 14 (93%) women. Mean BOOI and DCI were 11.90 ± 7.01 and 44.25 ± 8.60 respectively, with PdetQmax ranging from 17 to 44. None had difficulty in voiding (Qmax 13.85 ± 4.90). Twenty (43%) women were sexually active, and 2 had sexual dysfunction (FSFI score < 26.55). Quality of life was "good" to "very good" in all domains (score > 90) except for the social domain. The prospective cohort showed significant improvement in UDI-6 score (p < 0.05), IIQ-7 score (p < 0.05), and quality of life (p < 0.05) postoperatively. RA-VVF repair results in minimal voiding dysfunction and significant improvement in overall quality of life. For sexual dysfunction assessment, a longer follow-up is required.
