Sun D, Qi PP, Zhong CM, Xu C. Achieving resilience through knowledge management practices and risk management culture in agri-food supply chains. ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND POLLUTION RESEARCH INTERNATIONAL 2023; 30:118647-118661. Abstract
The problems with the current food distribution system are laid forth in this study. Getting high-quality agricultural and food products to consumers is the goal of what is known as the "agri-food supply chain." Agri-food supply chain knowledge exchange and risk management culture are being studied, as is the effect of supply chain management methods on business success. We are seeing an increase in the regularity of supply chain interruptions. The recent supply chain interruptions and their associated consequences highlight the necessity for robust supply systems. The primary goal of this research is to examine the interplay between critical antecedents of the agri-food supply chain; supply chain resilience (including risk management culture); supply chain connectivity, visibility, collaboration, and agility; and the effect these factors have on supply chain resilience and, ultimately, firm performance. With the same foundational elements and backing from the literature, an empirical model has been suggested. From September 2020 to June 2021, 245 random samples were collected throughout Indonesia for this investigation. The suggested model and the interdependencies among the crucial antecedents have been verified using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Findings from this study support the notion that agri-food supply chains benefit from increased emphasis on traceability, transparency, information sharing, and a culture of risk management. One major takeaway from this study is that by adopting the suggested methodology, businesses may build and strengthen their supply chain resilience capabilities by institutionalizing a risk management culture, raising employee risk awareness, and holding regular risk assessment drills. The study also suggests that businesses that want to strengthen their supply chains can do so by adopting information and communications technologies and visibility tools to improve their supply chain connectivity and visibility, allowing them to respond to and recover from disruptions in the supply chain more quickly. The model is validated using data from Indonesia's industrial sector. In order to establish supply chain resilience, the suggested model provides a comprehensive perspective that defines the interconnections between key antecedents. We conclude with some thoughts and suggestions for further study.

Abstract
Over the past decade, the significance of optimizing green supply chain management (GSCM) has gained unprecedented attention from both scholars and industry professionals. This surge in interest has led researchers to employ diverse modeling approaches in the pursuit of enhancing green supply chain networks. In this systematic review, we analyze 159 recent GSCM optimization papers published from 2017 to 2022 and identify the recent trends in mathematical modeling, multi-objective optimization, and the modeling/solver tools utilized. We find that the primary green focus is on minimizing carbon emissions (n = 44), reflecting the increasing concern for environmental sustainability. Among the modeling approaches employed, mixed-integer linear programming has emerged as the most popular choice (n = 51), followed by game theory-based modeling (n = 30). When it comes to multiobjective optimization, the ε-constraint approach is the most widely used. Evolutionary algorithms have emerged as the dominant meta-heuristic optimization approach. Additionally, the widely utilized solver in this domain is CPLEX with the most popular modeling/solver combination being GAMS/CPLEX. Moreover, the Journal of Cleaner Production was the leading outlet for research in this domain (n = 35). In addition to these findings, this study also discusses some other research trends and future research directions. Finally, we discuss the theoretical, managerial, and policy implications of this study. By providing GSCM researchers and practitioners with the latest trends in GSCM optimization approaches, this study contributes to the further advancement of the field.

Abstract
Supply chain control and sustainability can be significantly improved using distributed ledger technologies such as blockchain. The blockchain has the potential to facilitate responsible sourcing appropriately, compliance with weather requirements, and sustainable delivery chains. The purpose of this study is to address the hassle of managing conservatism when approaching era adoption and to explore the performance enhancements in blockchain-generated implementations. To achieve this goal, we introduce a scientific approach aimed at studying the outcomes of various factors in the adoption process in the blockchain era and verifying their impact on the overall performance of the delivery chain. Furthermore, a team of multidisciplinary professionals will establish causal relationships among these elements through a consensus-based approach. Ultimately, fuzzy reasoning tools can be used to determine the relative weights between identified factors and delivery chain performance goals. We will assemble causal representations of diagnoses using a dense scientific map model and dynamically generate scenarios for each. The study demonstrates that the integration of blockchain power generation can significantly improve the effectiveness of mineral supply chains. It uses smart contracts to promote environmental sustainability, traceability, and transparency.

Abstract
The evolution towards a green economy integrating social, economic, and environmental concerns has opened a new window to pursue the sustainable development goals (SDGs), especially for emerging nations. Nonetheless, despite being a pressing concern on a global scale, empirical research into the potential for green economy development in the context of Bangladesh has remained notably inadequate. To fill this void, this study is an attempt to evaluate the connection among economic growth, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, education, life expectancy, and technology to conclude the ecological and socio-economic repercussions of a green economy in Bangladesh's framework of achieving SDGs. Considering the statistical features of the annual data from 1990 to 2019, the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) method has been employed to analyze the connections between the chosen variables. The empirical outcomes show that an upsurge in CO2 is accompanied by a 3.66% increase in GDP over the long term, suggesting a positive and statistically significant relationship between the two variables. In addition, GDP increases by about 4.2% for every 1% increase in life expectancy. However, the relationship between technological innovation and education found an insignificant positive linkage with GDP. The most important takeaway from these findings is that the growth of Bangladesh's economy is occurring at the expense of the environment. Hence, this research recommends that, as a developing nation, Bangladesh should concentrate on environment-friendly alternatives, which can be done through the introduction of a green economy to achieve a sustainably developed economy.

Abstract
Digital financing is an emerging source after COVID-19 to address novel problems of economies and different industries. With the growing concern about the sustainability of the global environment, developing countries are now moving toward unprecedented economic development. This research analyzes the impact of digital finance and economic growth on environmental sustainability in China from 1995 to 2020, focusing on natural resource management. To include asymmetric patterns and handle socioeconomic shocks during the last three decades, the research uses the cutting-edge ordinary least square (O.L.S.) methodology. The O.L.S. helps the research findings and illustrated patterns of ecological sustainability dependency across various data distributions. According to the empirical results, N.R., F.D.P., and G.D.P. all benefited from carbon emissions at higher and lower emissions quantiles. Green technology innovation, on the other hand, considerably reduces emissions across all quantiles. Notably, the effect of each repressor significantly changed for lower, medium, and higher emissions quantiles, showing a thorough understanding of China's resource scarcity and sustainable growth.

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the relationship between green human resource management (HRM) practices and pro-environmental behavior among employees with mediating role of job satisfaction in this relationship. A questionnaire was used to collect data from the employees working in the pharmaceutical industry of Pakistan. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to examine study hypotheses. The study's findings indicate that green HRM practices favorably effect employees' job satisfaction, with the exception of green recruiting and selection, which leads to a greater degree of pro-environmental activity among employees. Additionally, it was discovered that job satisfaction, with the exception of green recruitment and selection, partially mediates the association between green HRM practices and pro-environmental behavior. The study also advances the field of analyzing firms' green activities from a psychological and sociological perspective, testing employee job satisfaction as a psychological condition that supports the link between green HRM and pro-environmental behavior. The study highlights the importance of green HRM practices in promoting pro-environmental behavior among employees. By aligning HRM procedures with environmental objectives, implementing environmental training, and involving employees in sustainability initiatives, organizations can build a culture of environmental responsibility and encourage sustainable behavior.

Abstract
International tourists in Malaysia have been playing a significant role in the economy. However, tourists' consumption of natural resources could be a threat to the environment. Green practices in the hotel industry have triggered a great opportunity to save water and energy consumption and maintain sustainable practices in the tourism and hospitality industries. This is a study on international tourists' intention to visit green hotels in Malaysia with related factors such as green availability, green price sensitivity, attitude, and subjective norm. For data collection, the researchers used self-administered questionnaires and distributed them to international tourists in Malaysia. For the analysis, structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied for analysis. Results found that green price sensitivity, attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control positively influence tourists' intention to visit green hotels in Malaysia. Attitude also mediated between green price sensitivity and tourists' intention to visit green hotels in Malaysia. This study has shown the novelty by establishing the relationships among variables and contributing to the Theory of Planned Behaviour, which will benefit future researchers. The study posed several recommendations for practitioners as there is a need to maintain appropriate standards of environmentally friendly practices in hotels, and consumers' support for consuming green-related products impacts their survival, growth, and sustainability. It will help hotel managers learn more about their guests and create more effective marketing plans.

Abstract
Global risk concerns spurred a debate regarding empowering an organization's risk management system. Risk assessment, management, and planning are vital for running a firm, but they are not universal. This research investigates how operational risk management is institutionalized in an organization and reveals best practices from a Malaysian government-linked enterprise (GLC). This phenomenological study interviewed 39 risk management officers, executives, and employees. Data are thematically analyzed. Burawoy's Social Theory uses a case study to integrate micro- and macro-organizational elements. The case company's risk management officers, executives, and employees are involved in seven processual factors, according to the analysis. Strong leadership and external consultants, setting up the apparatus and assigning the task to the person in charge, risk framework, risk diagnostic, monitor and measure, developing and nurturing risk management culture, and consistent risk management enforcement and monitoring could explain the institutionalization process of risk management in the organization. Global and local entities have institutionalized risk management. This phenomenological study helps comprehend the role of risk management institutionalization in corporate risk management. This study contributes to a practical implication such as to the GLC. It suggests that top management support and a standard risk framework are necessary for risk management homogeneity. Leaders and frameworks must address organizational processes and capabilities to ensure risk management consistency. This study contributes to the literature on risk management practices in developing nations. The paper concludes with limitations and research recommendations.

Abstract
Businesses are becoming more conscious of operational risk management practices due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, some firms practice risk management without fully comprehending how it might help them and their needs. As a result, companies that practice risk management without realizing it are being controlled by the discipline itself. The goal of this study is to look into the epistemic process of risk management practice in the workplace. This phenomenological study interviewed 39 risk management officers, executives, and employees. Data are thematically analyzed. This study discovered five epistemic processes of risk mapping using Foucault's governmentality paradigm. This phenomenological study, interestingly, revealed the black box of risk management practices, as well as the behavior of risk management officers, executives, and risk owners who preferred to monitor the compliance aspects of risk management practices rather than comprehend the capabilities of risk management that could be used within their strategic planning process. Unaware of this black box, organizational actors were blanketed by the organization's culture of fear, which created the impression that the authority was always watching every word said and every action taken. Practically, this study contributes an improved understanding of the real function of risk management that helps them justify the practice and reduce unnecessary fear. The paper concludes with limitations and research recommendations.
