Abstract
Sulfonamide antibiotics (SAs) have been widely used as antibacterial drugs for the prevention and treatment of livestock and poultry diseases, but they seriously threaten human health because they can accumulate in humans. Therefore, it is highly important to develop methods for monitoring sulfonamide residues in aquaculture and food. In this research, based on the generation of porous carbon (PC) by the pyrolysis of sodium citrate, magnetic porous carbon (PC@Fe3O4) was synthesized by a solvothermal method and used as an adsorbent for the magnetic solid-phase extraction of SAs. The effects of the proportion of PC in PC@Fe3O4, adsorbent dosage, adsorption time, eluent type, extraction pH, salt concentration and eluent dosage on the extraction efficiency were systematically studied. The adsorption performance and behavior of PC@Fe3O4 on SAs were evaluated using adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherms, and the adsorption mechanism was preliminarily discussed. Under optimal conditions, combined with capillary electrophoresis diode array detection, a sensitive detection method for SAs was developed. The proposed method can be used for the determination of six SAs in fishpond water and milk samples, with a linear range of 0.5-200 ng mL-1, detection limits of 0.24-0.34 ng mL-1, and spiked recoveries of 85.9-109.0 %.

Simple and rapid ionic liquid-based one-, two-, three-phase transition microextraction for efficient extraction of trace organic pollutants and elimination of lipid co-extractives from fatty food matrices. Abstract
Extraction of trace contaminants from fatty food matrices is challenging in food analysis. Herein, a new ionic liquid-based one-, two-, three-phase transition microextraction (IL-OTTPTME) was proposed to efficiently extract trace targets while simultaneously eliminating lipid co-extractives. The method performance was illustrated through the determination of chrysoidine in fatty soybean products using high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet/visible detection. The strong interactions and infinite contact between IL and chrysoidine in the one-phase system ensured ultra-high extraction efficiency (∼100 %). Density functional theoretical calculations confirmed the presence of strong hydrogen bonding and π-π interactions. The formation of the three-phase system during extraction could completely eliminate lipid co-extractives. The IL-OTTPTME integrated extraction, enrichment and cleanup steps into one step, making it rapid and extremely easy to operate. The method had a wide linear range of 0.5-5000 μg/kg and low limit of detection (0.15 μg/kg). It also had satisfactory relative recoveries (95.1 %-104.0 %) and low RSDs (≤5.0 %, n = 5).

Abstract
The determination of trace plant growth regulators (PGRs) residues in water and food samples make it crucial to develop novel sample pretreatment methods for the enrichment of PGRs. Herein, a novel magnetic hyper cross-linked polymer (M-CTT-9OH-HCP) was constructed and served as a magnetic adsorbent for the efficient extraction of some PGRs from water, watermelon, tomatoes, and milk samples for the first time. Combined with high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection (HPLC-FLD), the established method presented a good linearity (0.03-60.0 ng g-1 (ng mL-1), (r) ≥ 0.9973), satisfactory accuracy with method recoveries (83.0%-119%) and acceptable precision with the intra-day and inter-day variations (expressed as the relative standard deviations (RSDs) ≤ 9.8%). The limits of detection (LODs) and limits of quantitation (LOQs) were in the range of 0.01-1.50 and 0.03-5.00 ng g-1/ ng mL-1. The results show that the established method is sensitive and efficient for the determination of PGRs in real samples.

Abstract
In the present work, the herb (Poria cocos (Schw.) Wolf) residue, as an environmentally friendly and renewable biomass source, was converted into novel biochar. Biochar/sodium alginate mixed matrix membrane was fabricated. On this basis, a biochar/sodium alginate mixed matrix membrane-based in-syringe solid-phase extraction was developed combined with ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry to determine nitroimidazoles in water samples. The factors including times of exaction, type, and volume of elution solvent, and sample solution pH were thoroughly optimized. Then the correlation coefficient was 0.9995-0.9997. The limit of detection of four analytes was between 0.006 and 0.014 ng/mL, and the recovery was between 79.02% and 99.1%. Consequently, the established method would provide a new perspective on monitoring nitroimidazoles in water samples.

Abstract
A polybenzidine-modified Fe3O4@SiO2 nanocomposite was successfully synthesized through a chemical oxidation method and employed as a novel sorbent in dispersive magnetic solid phase extraction (DMSPE) for the preconcentration and determination of three triazole fungicides (TFs), namely diniconazole, tebuconazole, and triticonazole in river water, rice paddy soil, and grape samples. The synthesis method involved a polybenzidine self-assembly coating on Fe3O4@SiO2 magnetic composite. Characterization techniques such as FT-IR, XRD, FESEM, EDX, and VSM were used to confirm the correctness of the synthesized nano-sorbent. The target TFs were determined in actual samples using the synthesized nanocomposite sorbent in combination with gas chromatography-flame ionization detection (FID). Several variables were carefully optimized , including the sample pH, sorbent dosage, extraction time, ionic strength, and desorption condition (solvent type, volume, and time). Under the optimized experimental conditions, the method exhibited linearity in the concentration range 5-1000 ng mL-1 for triticonazole and 2-1000 ng mL-1 for diniconazole and tebuconazole. The limits of detection (LOD) for the three TFs were in the range 0.6-1.5 ng mL-1. The method demonstrated acceptable precision with intra-day and inter-day relative standard deviation (RSD) values of less than 6.5%. The enrichment factors ranged from 248 to 254. Finally, the method applicability was evaluated by determining TFs in river water, rice paddy soil, and grape samples with recoveries in the range 90.5-106, indicating that the matrix effect was negligible in the proposed DMSPE procedure.

Abstract
In recent years, numerous plant growth regulators have been found in foods and have a toxicity to human health, so its simultaneous multiple monitoring is urgently. For the first time, a rapid, accurate, and high-selective method was established to extract and determine multiple plant growth regulators simultaneously in red wines using a new dual-template hydrophilic molecularly imprinted resin (DHMIR) as an adsorbent of pipette tip solid-phase extraction coupled with HPLC. The as-prepared DHMIR combined the advantages of the hydrophilicity of hydrophilic resin and multi-imprinted recognition of dual-template molecular imprinting, overcoming the poor imprinted recognition ability of traditional imprinting materials in water and low extraction efficiency to multiple targets. Under the optimized conditions, the proposed method exhibited high sensitivity (2.29-3.94 ng mL-1) and recoveries (80.9-109.0 %) using only 15 mg DHMIR. This study provides an effective strategy for rapid, accurate, low-cost, and high-selective determination of the multiple analytes in food samples.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) stand for a class of emerging crystalline porous organic materials, which are ingeniously constructed with organic units through strong covalent bonds. Their excellent design capabilities, and uniform and tunable pore structure make them potential materials for various applications. With the continuous development of synthesis technique and nanoscience, COFs have been successfully combined with a variety of functional materials to form COFs-based composites with superior performance than individual components. This paper offers an overview of the development of different types of COFs-based composites reported so far, with particular focus on the applications of COFs-based composites. Moreover, the challenges and future development prospects of COFs-based composites are presented. We anticipate that the review will provide some inspiration for the further development of COFs-based composites.

Abstract
Bisphenol compounds exist widely in the environment and pose potential hazards to the environment and human health, which has aroused widespread concern. Therefore, there is an urgent need for an efficient and sensitive analytical method to enrich and determine trace bisphenols in environmental samples. In this work, magnetic porous carbon (MPC) was synthesized by one-step pyrolysis combined with a solvothermal method for magnetic solid-phase extraction of bisphenols. The structural properties of MPC were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and saturation magnetization analysis. Its adsorption properties were evaluated by adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherm studies. By optimizing the magnetic solid-phase extraction and capillary electrophoresis separation conditions, a capillary electrophoresis separation and detection method for four bisphenols was successfully constructed. The results showed that the detection limits of the proposed method for the four bisphenols were 0.71-1.65 ng/mL, the intra-day and inter-day precisions were 2.27-4.03% and 2.93-4.42%, respectively, and the recoveries were 87.68%-108.0%. In addition, the MPC could be easily recycled and utilized, and even if the magnetic solid-phase extraction was repeated 5 times, the extraction efficiency could still be kept above 75%.

Abstract
An enrichment method, namely popping candy-generated CO2 and sugaring-out-assisted supramolecular solvent-based microextraction (PGS-SUPRA), was investigated for the determination of triazole fungicide residues in water, honey and soy milk samples. The extraction process was carried out by adding popping candies into a centrifuge tube. Consequently, rapid dispersion and mass transfer of extractants can be achieved without using dispersants and auxiliary devices, and therefore, the extraction efficiency increased. The extraction parameters affecting the efficiency of the developed method were investigated. The presented method was then analysed by high-performance liquid chromatography. Under the selected condition, the wide linearity of triazole fungicides after preconcentration by the proposed microextraction method ranged from 30 to 1000 μg L-1 for triadimefon and from 90 to 1000 μg L-1 for myclobutanil, tebuconazole and hexaconazole, with a coefficient for determination (R 2) greater than 0.992. The limits of detection (LODs) and limits of quantitation (LOQs) were in the range of 10-30 μg L-1 and 30-90 μg L-1, respectively. The precisions were assessed from the relative standard deviations (RSDs) of the retention time and peak area obtained from intra- (n = 3) and inter-day (n = 3 × 5) experiments, and were greater than 1.66% and 13.52%, respectively. Moreover, the proposed method provided high enhancement factors (EnFs) ranging from 14 to 51 folds. This technique has been prosperously applied for the extraction of fungicide residues in water, honey and soy milk samples with a recovery within the range of 60-114%. Overall, the developed method was found to be advantageous as compared with other sample preparation methods.

Magnetic thermo-responsive branched polymer (Fe3O4@poly(glycidyl methacrylate)@poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)) was fabricated for the first time and applied for microwave-assisted magnetic solid phase extraction of phenolic acids in olive oil samples followed by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry analysis in multiple reaction monitoring mode. Owing to the controllable molecular weight of poly(glycidyl methacrylate) synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization and the thermo-responsive characteristic of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide), extraction performance could be efficiently tuned and enhanced. The whole sample pretreatment process was accomplished within 1 min with the help of the microwave. The nanocomposites were characterized by transmission electron microscope, scanning electron microscope, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, vibrating sample magnetometer, water contact angles and dynamic light scattering. The adsorption experimental data fitted well with the Freundlich isotherm model and followed the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The factors affecting the extraction process including adsorbent amount, adsorption time, sample volume, desorption conditions and interferents were investigated and optimized. Under the most favorable conditions, the developed method showed good linearity (R2 ≥ 97.98%) in the range of 0.2-30 μg L-1, low limits of detection (0.005-0.030 μg L-1) and limits of quantification (0.016-0.098 μg L-1) as well as satisfactory precision (RSDs≤4.85%). Our proposed method was successfully used for determination of phenolic acids in olive oil samples and satisfactory recoveries at three spiked concentration levels were in the range of 84.6-108.1% with RSDs less than 9.20%. Coupled with principal component analysis, our developed method proved promising for fast and convenient differentiation between extra virgin olive oils and refined olive oils.

Abstract
An eco-friendly sample preparation method that is based on the use of a modified peanut shell as an efficient biosorbent for the extraction of triazole residues before their analysis by high-performance liquid chromatography was reported. The four triazole fungicides were separated on a Purospher STAR RP-18 endcapped (4.6 × 150 mm, 5 μm) column with a mobile phase of 50% (v/v) acetonitrile at a flow rate of 1.0 mL min-1 and detection wavelength set at 220 nm. Peanut shells modified by didodecyldimethylammonium bromide were selected as an effective biosorbent material in the microextraction method. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy were used to characterize the biosorbent. The effect of dominant parameters on the proposed microextraction method including the amount of sorbent, kind and concentration of surfactant, sodium hydroxide concentration, kind and amount of salt, sample volume, adsorption time, kind and volume desorption solvent, and desorption time was studied. Under the optimum condition, a good analytical performance for the proposed microextraction method was obtained with a wide linear range within the range of 9-1000 μg L-1, and low limits of detection (0.03 μg L-1 for all analytes) were obtained. Enrichment factors were achieved within the range of 30-51. The intra and interday precision values were evaluated in terms of percentage relative standard deviations (%RSD) and were less than 0.09 and 5.34% for the retention time and peak area, respectively. The proposed microextraction methods were used for extraction and analysis of triazole fungicides in water and honey samples. The recoveries in a satisfactory range of 70.0-118.8% were obtained.

Abstract
An in situ formation of ionic liquid was used for preconcentration of four triazole fungicides in food samples. The microextraction method was used for the first time in the literature for preconcentration of triazole fungicides. In the developed method, tributylhexadecylphosphonium bromide ([P44412]Br) and potassium hexafluorophosphate (KPF6) were used for the formation of hydrophobic ionic liquid. After centrifugation, the fine microdroplets were produced in one step, providing the extraction step in a quick and environmentally friendly manner. The functional group of the hydrophobic ionic liquid was investigated using FT-IR. Various extraction parameters were studied and optimized. In the extraction method, 0.01 g of [P44412]Br and 0.01 g of KPF6, centrifugation at 4500 rpm for 10 min were used. The optimized technique provided a good linear range (90-1000 μg L-1) and high extraction recovery, with a low limit of detection (30-50 μg L-1). Methods for the proposed in situ formation of ionic liquid were successfully applied to honey, fruit juice, and egg matrices. The recoveries were obtained in a satisfactory range of 62-112%. The results confirmed the suitability of the proposed microextraction method for selective extraction and quantification of triazole fungicides.

Abstract
This review (with 126 references) aims at providing an updated overview of the recent developments and innovations of the preparation and application of magnetic nanoparticles for food safety analysis. During the past two decades, various magnetic nanoparticles with different sizes, shapes, and surface modifications have been designed, synthesized, and characterized with the prospering development of material science. Analytical scientists and food scientists are among the ones who bring these novel materials from laboratories to commercial applications. Powerful and versatile surface functional groups and high surface to mass ratios make these magnetic nanoparticles useful tools for high-efficiency capture and preconcentration of certain molecules, even when they exist in trace levels or complicated food matrices. This is why more and more methods for sensitive detection and quantification of hazards in foods are developed based on these magic magnetic tools. In this review, the principles and superiorities of using magnetic nanoparticles for food pollutant analysis are first introduced, like the mechanism of magnetic solid phase extraction, a most commonly used method for food safety-related sample pretreatment. Their design and preparation are presented afterward, alongside the mechanisms underlying their application for different analytical purposes. After that, recently developed magnetic nanoparticle-based methods for dealing with food pollutants such as organic pollutants, heavy metals, and pathogens in different food matrices are summarized in detail. In the end, some humble outlooks on future directions for work in this field are provided.

Abstract
An iron-nickel bimetallic oxide porous graphene composite material (Fe/Ni-PG) was prepared by a simple partial combustion method, which can be used to effectively remove sulfonamides (SAs) from an aqueous solution. The adsorption performance of Fe/Ni-PG, Fe-PG, and Ni-PG on six kinds of SAs was compared, and the influence of time, temperature, pH, and initial concentration of SAs on the adsorption behavior of SAs of Fe/Ni-PG in an aqueous solution was studied. The adsorption kinetics and thermodynamics exhibited that the Langmuir model and pseudo-second-order kinetics model can describe the adsorption isotherm and kinetics. The maximum adsorption capacities of sulfadiazine (SD), sulfamerazine (SM), sulfamethazine (SDM), sulfathiazole (STZ), sulfapyridine (SPD), and sulfisoxazole (SIZ) calculated by the Langmuir model were 26.3, 50.3, 42.2, 27.3, 34.5, and 41.7 mg/g, respectively, which exceeded those of most reported adsorbents. In the adsorption process, hydrogen bonding, π-π electron donor-acceptor, electrostatic interaction, and bimetallic synergies play a major role, and the entire adsorption process is spontaneously endothermic. In addition, the material has excellent stability, and the Fe/Ni-PG after desorption is consistent with the raw material. This work provides a favorable way for the removal of SAs in the environment.

Abstract
Maltodextrin- and β-cyclodextrin-functionalized magnetic graphene oxide (mGO/β-CD/MD), a novel hydrophilic-lipophilic composite, was successfully fabricated and used for the co-extraction of triazines and triazoles from vegetable samples before HPLC-UV analysis. mGO/β-CD/MD was synthesized by chemical bonding of β-CD and MD to the surface of mGO, using epichlorohydrin (ECH) as a linker. The successful synthesis of mGO/β-CD/MD was confirmed by characterization tests, including attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), and Barrett-Joyner-Halenda (BJH) analyses. The hydrophobic cavity of β-CD and a large number of hydroxyl groups on the MD structure contributed to the co-extraction of mentioned pesticides with a wide range of polarity. Under the optimized condition (sorbent amount, 30 mg; desorption time, 10 min; desorption solvent volume, 300 μL; desorption solvent, methanol/acetonitrile (1:1) containing 5% (v/v) acetic acid; extraction time, 20 min; and pH of sample solution, 7.0), good linearity within the range 1.0-1000 μg L-1 (r2 ≥ 0.992) was achieved. Extraction efficiencies were in the range 66.4-95.3%, and the limits of detection were 0.01-0.08 μg L-1. Relative recoveries for spiked samples were obtained in the range 88.4-112.0%, indicating that the matrix effect was insignificant, and good precisions (intra- and inter-day) were also achieved (RSDs < 9.0%, n = 3). The results confirmed that the developed method was efficient for the determination of trace amounts of pesticides in potato, tomato, and corn samples.

Abstract
As an effective sample pretreatment approach, stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) has shown great prospects in static microextraction and selective enrichment. In this work, bifunctional microporous organic network (B-MON) with the coexistence of amino and hydroxyl groups was firstly designed and synthesized as a novel coating for efficient SBSE of parabens and flavors in combination with high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with photodiode array detection (HPLC-PDA). Linked by covalent bonds to form an extension of the aromatic ring skeleton, B-MON was a tailored adsorbent featured by porous structure and abundant hydrogen bonding sites for analytes with benzene/naphthalene rings and OH/COOH groups. The extraction and desorption parameters were evaluated in detail. Under the optimized conditions, the proposed B-MON-SBSE-HPLC-PDA method offered good linearity (0.10-100 μg L-1) with correlation coefficients R2 ≥ 0.995, low limits of detection (0.010-0.035 μg L-1) and limits of quantification (0.035-0.115 μg L-1), and favorable enrichment factors (40-49). Furthermore, the developed method has been applied to the analysis of parabens and flavors in cosmetic and food samples with recoveries ranging from 80.4 to 109.6%. This method was also feasible to extract the analytes with benzene/naphthalene rings and OH/COOH groups, such as the plant growth regulators and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The present study provided a new way to synthesize bifunctional MONs for SBSE of trace analytes in complex samples.

Abstract
Using MIL-101(Fe) as the source of carbon and Fe, a magnetic porous carbon (MPC) material with Fe3C nanoparticles encapsulated in porous carbon was prepared through one-pot pyrolysis under N2 atmosphere. With MPC as adsorption material, a stir bar sorptive-dispersive microextraction (SBSDME) method was proposed to extract and preconcentrate sulfonamides (SAs) prior to HPLC-DAD determination. To investigate their extraction ability, different MPC materials were prepared under different carbonization temperatures (600, 700, 800, 900, and 1000 °C). The material prepared under 900 °C (MPC-900) exhibited the highest extraction ability for SAs. The as-prepared MPC materials were also characterized by Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, zeta potential, and other techniques. The main parameters that affect extraction were systematically studied. Under optimal conditions, favorable linearity (R2 ≥ 0.9938) and detection limits (0.02-0.04 ng mL-1) of sulfonamides were obtained. The average recoveries for spiked milk and lake water samples ranged from 76.9 to 109% and from 75.4 to 118% with RSDs of 3.10-9.63% and 1.71-11.3%, respectively. Sulfameter and sulfisoxazole were detected in milk sample. Sulfisoxazole was detected in the lake water sample. The MPC-900 material demonstrated excellent reusability. It can be reused 24 times with peak areas having no obvious decline. The method can be applied to extract ultra-trace compounds in complex sample matrices. Abstract
An ionic covalent organic framework (Fe3O4@EB-TFB-iCOF) as a polar adsorbent was synthesized and characterized. It was applied in the magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) of four polar organic acids, namely, 2-(2,4,5-trichlorophenoxy)propionic acid, 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxy acetic acid, naphthyloxyacetic acid, and naphthylacetic acid. The organic acids were detected by high performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet analysis (HPLC-UV). A method for the determination of organic acids based on MSPE-HPLC-UV was established. The method shows good linear regression (R2≥ 0.9950), high precision (1.53-3.80%, n = 6), and low detection limit (0.10-0.49 ng mL-1). The recovery rate of environmental water samples ranges from 73.3% to 101.0%. This method provides a possibility for high sensitivity analysis of polar organic acids.

Abstract
Herein, a novel magnetic porous carbon nanocomposite derived from a cobalt based-metal-organic framework was synthesized and evaluated for simultaneous preconcentration of homo and hetero-polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Briefly, magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs) were synthesized and then were coated with a metal-organic framework layer. Finally, the magnetic nanocomposite was carbonized under an inert atmosphere to obtain the magnetic porous carbon (MPC). Various characterization techniques such as FT-IR spectroscopy, transmission and scanning electron microcopies, vibrating sample magnetometry, and X-ray diffraction were employed. Applicability of the MPC was explored using benzothiophene, dibenzothiophene, 9,10-dimethylanthracene, and benz[α]anthracene as the model analytes. Limits of detection and linearities were achieved in the range of 0.06-0.18 μg L-1 and 0.25-500 μg L-1, respectively. Precision of the method as RSDs was evaluated which was in the range of 4.2-7.0% (within-day, n = 5) and 8.2-11.3% (between-day, n = 3). Ultimately, the method was applied to analyze two seawater samples and satisfactory results (RSDs%, 5.0-9.0%; relative recoveries, 89-104%) were obtained.

Abstract
Core-shell magnetic zeolite imidazolate framework-8 (Fe3O4@PAA@ZIF-8) was successfully synthesized and first employed as adsorbent of magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) for the determination of brucine and strychnine in human urine sample coupled with high performance liquid chromatography. The as-prepared Fe3O4@PAA@ZIF-8 was characterized by transmission electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectrometry, X-ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometer and zeta potential analysis. Main parameters affecting the MSPE efficiency, including amount of adsorbent, sample solution pH, extraction time, ionic strength, desorption solvent, desorption time and desorption volume were further optimized. Under the optimized conditions, the proposed method provided good linearity (5.0-1000.0 μg L-1) with determination coefficients between 1.0000 and 0.9998, low limits of detection in the range of 1.1-1.2 μg L-1, and excellent reproducibility with relative standard deviations of less than 7.7%. The intra-day and inter-day precision were 1.5-3.2% and 2.1-7.2%, respectively. Satisfactory spiked recoveries were between97.2% and 115.4% with the relative standard deviations less than 6.3%. The results demonstrated that Fe3O4@PAA@ZIF-8 composite was a promising magnetic adsorbent for the preconcentration of brucine and strychnine in human urine sample.

Abstract
A novel magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) material (Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2-G2) had been prepared and employed for adsorption and analysis of seven quaternary ammonium compounds (QACs) in infant fruit and vegetable products coupled with high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). In this paper, Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2-G2 was synthesized based on Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2 and dendrimer (G2) consisting of cyanuric chloride and imidazole. The morphology, configuration and magnetic behavior of the magnetic material were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Critical parameters affecting extraction efficiency, such as the adsorbent amount, sample pH, extraction time, the type of eluent, and desorption time, were optimized. The proposed method provided good linearity with the correlation coefficients (R2) of 0.9992-0.9999, low limits of detection (LODs) (0.05-0.50 μg kg-1) and limits of quantitation (LOQs) (0.20-2.00 μg kg-1). The satisfactory method recoveries in three spiked infant fruit and vegetable products samples were between 80.12% and 101.35% with the relative standard deviations (RSDs) less than 12.04%. In summary, the established method was an effective sample preparation method and showed good prospect for the analysis of QACs in complex matrices.
