Abstract
PURPOSE Vitreoretinal lymphoma (VRL) is a rare lymphoma affecting the vitreous and the retina. Clinical diagnosis is challenging and often delayed and may lead to aggravated prognosis. This study aims to review multimodal imaging findings in VRL. METHODS We performed a comprehensive narrative review of the multimodal imaging findings that might be useful in the detection of VRL lesions. RESULTS The most frequent ocular manifestations of VRL are vitritis, and retinal and sub-retinal Pigmented Epithelium (RPE) infiltrations. Color Fundus Photography (CFP) detects vitreous haze, optic nerve, retinal and sub-RPE infiltration. Ultra-wide field imaging allows visualization of different patterns of vitreous haze and monitoring of VRL evolution through the detection of chorio-retinal atrophy (CRA). Fundus Autofluorescence shows granular hypo- and hyper-autofluorescent pattern. Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) reveals vitreous cells, vertical hyper-reflective lesions and sub-RPE infiltrates. Fluorescein Angiography (FA) shows hypo or hyperfluorescent round lesions at the late stages of the examination, while Indocyanine Green Angiography (ICGA) detects round areas of focal hypo-fluorescence in the early phases that gradually enlarge in the late phases. B-scan ultrasonography detects vitreous opacities and homogeneous hyperreflective corpuscular material in the vitreous, and is a strongly recommended tool in suspecting VRL and is particularly useful when vitreous haze is impeding retinal examination. CONCLUSION Diagnostic vitrectomy with cytopathological analysis remains the gold standard for VRL diagnosis, however multimodal imaging allows the identification of suggestive retinal and vitreal lesions for early suspicion, diagnosis, and treatment and monitoring disease progression and response to treatment.

Abstract
Subretinal hyperreflective material (SHRM) is a common and remarkable optical coherence tomography (OCT) biomarker whose importance is emerging in several retinal and chorioretinal diseases, including age-related macular degeneration, central serous chorioretinopathy, polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy, pathologic myopia, posterior uveitis, vitelliform lesions and macular dystrophies, and rarer disorders. Multimodal imaging, also thanks to the introduction of OCT angiography, allowed a deeper characterisation of SHRM components and its morphological changes after treatment, suggesting its usefulness in clinical practice. We discuss and summarize the nature, multimodal imaging characteristics, and prognostic and predictive significance of SHRM in the different retinal and choroidal disorders in which it has been described.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Although early detection is critical, diagnosing vitreoretinal lymphoma (VRL) remains difficult. We sought to assess the potential diagnostic value of spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) in VRL. METHODS We reviewed the clinical records and pre-treatment SD-OCT images of biopsy-confirmed VRL and uveitis patients, with primary involvement of the sub-retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) and the outer retina, including acute syphilitic posterior placoid chorioretinitis (ASPPC), chronic stage sympathetic ophthalmitis (SO), and idiopathic multifocal choroiditis (MFC). RESULTS We included 45 eyes of 45 VRL patients and 40 eyes of 40 uveitis patients (17 ASPPC eyes, eight chronic SO eyes, and 15 MFC eyes). On SD-OCT, lymphoma cell infiltration was observed in various retinal layers, most commonly in the sub-RPE (80%) and sub-retinal space (62%). Highly sensitive features for VRL as compared to uveitis included vitreous cells (93%), focal hyper-reflective sub-retinal infiltration (51%), and diffuse RPE elevations (56%). The features strongly specific for VRL included preretinal deposits (92.5%), intra-retinal infiltration (except the incomplete vertical hyper-reflective type, 100%), banded hyper-reflective sub-retinal infiltration (90%), and confluent RPE detachments (100%). We identified an approach to VRL diagnosis based on these SD-OCT findings: (1) two highly sensitive features plus one strongly specific feature; or (2) one highly sensitive feature plus two strongly specific features, demonstrated a sensitivity of 80% and specificity of 95% for VRL. CONCLUSIONS The SD-OCT may enable the detection of detailed lymphoma infiltration characteristics and provide significant supplemental value for VRL diagnosis, particularly when combining highly sensitive and specific VRL-associated SD-OCT features.

Abstract
Vitelliform lesions (VLs) are associated with a wide array of macular disorders but are the result of one common pathway: retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) impairment and phagocytic dysfunction. VLs are defined by the accumulation of yellowish subretinal material. In the era of multimodal advanced retinal imaging, VLs can be further characterized by subretinal hyperreflectivity with optical coherence tomography and hyperautofluorescence with fundus autofluorescence. VLs can be the result of genetic or acquired retinal diseases. In younger patients, VLs usually occur in the setting of Best disease. Additional genetic causes of VL include pattern dystrophy or adult-onset vitelliform macular dystrophy. In older patients, acquired VLs can be associated with a broad spectrum of etiologies, including tractional, paraneoplastic, toxic, and degenerative disorders. The main cause of visual morbidity in eyes with VLs is the onset of macular atrophy and macular neovascularization. Histopathological studies have provided new insights into the location, nature, and lifecycle of the vitelliform material comprised of melanosomes, lipofuscin, melanolipofuscin, and outer segment debris located between the RPE and photoreceptor layer. Impaired phagocytosis by the RPE cells is the unifying pathway leading to VL development. We discuss and summarize the nature, pathogenesis, multimodal imaging characteristics, etiologies, and natural course of vitelliform maculopathies.

Abstract
An array of retinochoroid imaging modalities aid in comprehensive evaluation of the immunopathological changes in the retina and choroid, forming the core component for the diagnosis and management of inflammatory disorders such as uveitis. The recent technological breakthroughs have led to the development of imaging platforms that can evaluate the layers of retina and choroid and the structural and functional alteration in these tissues. Ophthalmologists heavily rely on imaging modalities such as dye-based angiographies (fluorescein angiography and indocyanine green angiography), optical coherence tomography, fundus autofluorescence, as well as dye-less angiography such as optical coherence tomography angiograph,y for establishing a precise diagnosis and understanding the pathophysiology of the diseases. Furthermore, these tools are now being deployed with a 'multimodal' approach for swift and accurate diagnosis. In this comprehensive review, we outline the imaging platforms used for evaluation of posterior uveitis and discuss the organized, algorithmic approach for the assessment of the disorders. Additionally, we provide an insight into disease-specific characteristic pathological changes and the established strategies to rule out disorders with overlapping features on imaging.

Abstract
BACKGROUND To report a case of a subretinal, unilateral, peripapillary granuloma that was diagnosed as sarcoidosis by a 27-gauge pars plana vitrectomy subretinal biopsy. Sarcoidosis is a chronic idiopathic granulomatous inflammatory disease, that has ocular involvement in 10-80% of patients. It is often mistaken for many other primary ocular diseases because the condition can involve any structure in or around the eye. Previous case reports of peripapillary sarcoidosis have either been limited to the choroid or presented with additional ocular and systemic signs, hence have not required an intraocular biopsy. CASE PRESENTATION A 54-year-old Filipino male presented with a 6-month history of painless blurred vision in his right eye. Fundus examination revealed a large white peripapillary lesion. Enhanced-depth imaging optical coherence tomography confirmed the subretinal location of the mass. Indocyanine green angiography demonstrated absolute hypofluorescent blockage with satellite lesions. A whole-body positron emission tomography scan demonstrated widespread lymphadenopathy, but investigations including an inguinal lymph node biopsy were inconclusive. Following growth of the peripapillary lesion and worsening vision, a 27-gauge pars plana vitrectomy subretinal biopsy was performed which confirmed sarcoidosis. He was treated with oral corticosteroids and transitioned to long term immunotherapy with methotrexate. CONCLUSIONS Sarcoidosis can present in the subretinal space, around the optic nerve without other ocular findings.

Abstract
PURPOSE Although diagnosing vitreoretinal lymphoma (VRL) can be challenging, early detection is critical for visual prognosis. We analyzed the spectrum of optical coherence tomography (OCT) findings in patients with biopsy-proven VRL and correlate these features with clinical parameters. DESIGN This retrospective cross-sectional study was a multicenter chart review from 13 retina, uveitis, and ocular oncology clinics worldwide from 2008 to 2019. We included patients with a diagnosis of biopsy-proven VRL imaged with OCT at presentation. Ocular information, systemic information, and multimodal retinal imaging findings were collected and studied. The main outcome measure was the characteristics of VRL on OCT. RESULTS A total of 182 eyes of 115 patients (63 women, mean age 65 years) were included in this study. The disease was bilateral in 81 patients (70%), and mean baseline visual acuity was 0.2 ± 0.89 logMAR (Snellen equivalent, 20/32). At baseline, 38 patients (33%) presented with isolated ocular involvement, 54 (45%) with associated central nervous system involvement, and 11 (10%) with other systemic lymphomatous involvement; an additional 12 patients (10%) presented with central nervous system and other systemic involvement. On OCT, tumor infiltration was identified in various retinal layers, including lesions in the subretinal pigment epithelium compartment (91% of eyes), the subretinal compartment (43% of eyes), and the intraretinal compartment (7% of eyes). OCT analysis of eyes with VRL identified 3 main regions of retinal infiltration. Subretinal pigment epithelium location, with or without subretinal infiltration, was the most common pattern of involvement and isolated intraretinal infiltration was the least.

Abstract
PURPOSE To investigate the frequency, risk factors, and functional prognosis of chorioretinal atrophy (CRA) in vitreoretinal lymphoma (VRL). METHODS This was a retrospective cohort study of consecutive patients with vitreoretinal lymphoma. The demographic, clinical, and retinal features and the treatment modalities of each patient were collected. The charts and the multimodal imaging at each visit were reviewed. The risk factors associated with CRA were investigated with a mixed-model Cox regression. RESULTS Of the 79 eyes of 40 patients included, 41 eyes (52%) had CRA; 27 and 14 eyes had focal and diffuse CRA, respectively. The rate of vitreoretinal lymphoma lesions in the macula was similar between focal and diffuse CRA (96% vs. 93%). The eyes with CRA had worse best-corrected visual acuity (P = 0.006) than eyes with no CRA; diffuse atrophy had the worst best-corrected visual acuity (P < 0.001). The presence of retinal infiltrates (hazard ratio = 3.75, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.46-9.59, P = 0.006) and vertical hyperreflective lesions (hazard ratio= 4.13 95% CI 1.14-14.93, P = 0.03) on optical coherence tomography and macular involvement (hazard ratio = 6.59, 95% CI 1.41-30.53, P = 0.02) were associated with a higher risk of CRA. CONCLUSION Vitreoretinal lymphoma presenting with retinal infiltrates and macular involvement carried a higher risk of CRA. Risk factors for CRA should be identified for the potential of severe visual loss. Prompt diagnosis of vitreoretinal lymphoma may allow better control of the disease.

Abstract
Purpose The aim of this study was to report the presentation, treatment, and outcomes of vitreoretinal lymphoma (VRL) associated with hemorrhagic mass-like lesions (HMLs) in the retina. Methods This study was a retrospective analysis of patients with HMLs associated with VRL seen at a single tertiary referral center. For each patient, the clinical charts, the fundus imaging, and the treatment outcomes were reviewed. Results Three eyes of 2 patients had VRL with HMLs. In all study eyes, HMLs were preceded by an area of retinitis-like retinal infiltration and evolved into elevated hemorrhagic masses. Two eyes had multiple relapses with HMLs. All HMLs regressed with treatment and were replaced by extensive chorioretinal atrophy. Conclusion VRL can present with HMLs. HMLs seem to correspond to massive intraretinal infiltration by VRL, mimicking a solid mass. Despite response to therapy, HMLs are associated with poor anatomical and functional outcomes.

Abstract
PURPOSE To describe the case of a 66-year-old man with bilateral cytologically proven vitreoretinal lymphoma who presented with a pseudo-vitelliform macular lesion and multiple retinal pigment epithelium apertures. METHODS The patient underwent comprehensive ophthalmologic evaluation, including best-corrected visual acuity, intraocular pressure, anterior segment and fundus examination, and optical coherence tomography, at baseline and during follow-up. RESULTS A new-onset foveal yellow, ill-defined lesion was noticed in the right eye during the follow-up; best-corrected visual acuity was 20/20, and the patient was asymptomatic. The lesion was isoautofluorescent with the surrounding retina. The optical coherence tomography revealed hyperreflective subretinal material, an irregularly thickened retinal pigment epithelium, and a shallow, hyperreflective retinal pigment epithelium detachment with multiple retinal pigment epithelium apertures. After 15 days, the lesion was completely reabsorbed and replaced by outer retinal atrophy and cystoid macular edema; best-corrected visual acuity dropped to 20/100. CONCLUSION The macular lesion may be a sign of macular infiltration, a case of paraneoplastic cloudy vitelliform submaculopathy, or coexistence of both. Retinal pigment epithelium apertures are not disease-specific and are described in vitreoretinal lymphoma for the first time.

Abstract
Purpose Herein, we report a case of primary intraocular lymphoma (PIOL) with the first presentation of bilateral Epstein-Barr virus- (EBV-) associated panuveitis. Case Presentation. A 69-year-old male was referred with a three-day history of blurred vision and pain and redness in his left eye following cataract surgery. Examination revealed panuveitis, vitritis, and necrotizing retinitis with retinal hemorrhage. A month later, the right eye was also involved. Polymerase chain reaction-based analysis of the vitreous sample was positive for EBV, and cytological evaluation was compatible with the diagnosis of B-cell lymphoma. A significant improvement was observed following serial intravitreal rituximab and methotrexate injections. The central nervous system and lungs were involved after 6 months, and the patient expired despite systemic chemotherapy. Conclusion There may be an association between EBV panuveitis and primary intraocular B-cell lymphoma.

Abstract
PURPOSE To characterize the imaging features in eyes with vitreoretinal lymphoma (VRL) using ultra-widefield fundus photography (UWF-FP), swept-source optical coherence tomography (SSOCT) and fundus autofluorescence (FAF) that are correlated to ongoing treatment with intravitreal Rituximab(IVR). METHODS Retrospective observational imaging-based study of 15 treatment-naive eyes with VRL treated with IVR. All patients with primary VRL underwent vitreous biopsy using 23/25G microincision vitrectomy system for confirmation of diagnosis. All eyes received monthly IVR (1 mg/0.1 mL) injections till disease remission. Baseline clinical characteristics, treatment details, outcomes, and sequential imaging features on UWF-FP, FAF, and SSOCT were analyzed. OUTCOME MEASURES Baseline features and changes in UWF-FP, FAF patterns, and SSOCT features in response to treatment RESULTS: Clinically, patients presented with sub-RPE deposits (n = 15), superficial retinal hemorrhages (n = 2), 'giant' RPE (retinal pigment epithelium) holes (n = 2), and anterior segment reaction (n = 1). Eyes were treated with mean 5.7 IVR injections (median: 5; range 1-13) over a mean 7.2 ± 4.9 months. During the course of treatment, two eyes developed superficial retinal hemorrhages with spontaneous resolution, 2 eyes developed CME, and 4 eyes developed characteristic 'leopard skin' pigmentation. Hyper-autofluorescence corresponding to areas of active lesions decreased with each treatment cycle and was finally replaced by hypo-autofluorescence. Serial OCTs showed regression of sub-RPE/subretinal deposits (n = 15), ellipsoid zone disruption (n = 9), and its resolution with treatment (n = 3), epiretinal membrane (ERM; n = 6), choroidal hyperreflective foci (HRF; n = 4), disorganization of retinal inner layers (DRIL; n = 3), RPE-rip (n = 2), cystoid macular edema (CME; n = 2), and hyperreflective lesions in the choroid (n = 1). Complete resolution was observed in all eyes with extensive hypo-AF. The central foveal thickness decreased from 237 ± 113 μ to 182 ± 114 μ (p = 0.1) and subfoveal choroidal thickness decreased from 258 ± 66 μ to 220 ± 64 μ (p = 0.12) at final follow-up. The mean baseline BCVA was logMAR 0.9 ± 0.9 that deteriorated to mean logMAR 1 ± 1 final visit (p = 0.7). The mean recurrence-free follow-up was 5.9 ± 5.1 months CONCLUSION: Multimodal imaging provides novel insights into features of VRL, a better understanding of regression patterns, and prognostication of outcomes when treated with intravitreal rituximab. Larger, multicentric studies with longer follow-up will help unravel imaging biomarkers to understand these aspects better.

Abstract
PURPOSE To describe the morphological patterns of keratic precipitates (KPs) in vitreoretinal lymphoma (VRL) using in vivo confocal microscopy (IVCM). METHODS Six eyes of three biopsy-proven VRL patients were included. KPs were identified and analyzed on IVCM. RESULTS On examination, pigmented KPs in four eyes, white central KPs in two eyes and anterior chamber cells with flare in six eyes and pseudo hypopyon in one eye were identified. A typical floral pattern of KPs on IVCM was noted in all eyes. Three eyes each showed the complete and incomplete floral patterns, respectively. Resolution of KPs on IVCM was noted after chemotherapy. CONCLUSION In addition to the routinely used clinical and imaging markers like the visual acuity, presence of lymphomatous cells in the vitreous and optical coherence tomography findings, the presence and appearance of KPs on IVCM can also be considered as a useful, diagnostic and treatment monitoring marker in VRL.

Abstract
Background/aims: To report our five-year experience on vitreoretinal lymphoma (VRL) as a single-center tertiary hospital. Methods: The ophthalmic, cytopathology, and onco-hematologic records of patients with VRL consecutively seen from 2014 to 2019 were reviewed. Results: Fifty-nine eyes of 31 patients with large B-cell VRL were included. Eighty-one percent has developed central nervous system lymphoma at the end of follow-up. Several different imaging findings were noted, including vitritis, leopard spot appearance, Bruch's membrane/RPE infiltrations, and ellipsoid zone disruption. A variable combination of MYD88-L265P mutation in the aqueous and/or in the vitreous and positive cytology/histology allowed to reach a definite diagnosis in all the patients. Therapies included intravitreal injections of methotrexate and rituximab, systemic chemotherapy, pan-encephalic radiotherapy, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Conclusion: No definite guidelines exist for VRL management. It is crucial to collect as much data as possible from tertiary referral hospitals, which suitably manage a conspicuous number of VRL patients.

Abstract
Purpose: To describe a case of primary vitreoretinal lymphoma (PVRL) that initially presented and managed as dry type age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Methods: A 69-year-old male was referred to us by decreased vision. Results: On funduscopy, a few small hard drusen at the posterior pole of the right eye and many large confluent drusen in the left eye were observed. Optical coherence tomography findings included the hyperreflective drusenoid materials in the subretinal pigment epithelium (sub- RPE) space which was similar to previous imaging records except for decreased area and height of pigment epithelial detachments and RPE and ellipsoid zone attenuation in some areas appeared. The thickness of the retina was normal, but the choroid appeared to be slightly decreased compared to the left eye. Patient has been followed up with the diagnosis of AMD for 1 year. After the right hemiparesis presentation, he underwent craniotomy and biopsy that made the diagnosis evident. Conclusion: PVRL/primary central nervous system lymphoma may be one of the most important masquerades of AMD, but a significantly waxing and waning course may help to make correct diagnosis.

Abstract
Purpose To analyze the subclinical intraocular involvement using multimodal imaging approach in patients affected by Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD) without ocular symptoms. Patients and Methods In this prospective cross-sectional study, 18 eyes of 9 consecutive patients with ECD were enrolled. Each patient underwent comprehensive ocular examination and extensive multimodal chorioretinal imaging. Results None of the patients presented any evidence of chorioretinal localization of disease using multimodal imaging. One patient exhibited a choroidal nevus complicated by active polypoidal choroidal neovascularization. Subretinal hyperreflective material was seen in three eyes, mainly resembling acquired vitelliform lesion. One patient had an isolated intraretinal hemorrhage. Most patients exhibited peripheral vascular abnormalities (ie, microaneurysms, peripheral vascular leakage). Fundus autofluorescence showed faint hyperautofluorescence in eleven eyes. Conclusion Intraocular involvement is an extremely rare event of an extremely rare disease. In patients affected by ECD without ocular symptoms, advance multimodal imaging examinations did not show signs of subclinical chorioretinal involvement related to the disease.

Abstract
AimsPeculiar retinal signs of vitreoretinal lymphoma (VRL) have been identified. However, limited information on the vitreous features of VRL is available. This study aims to characterise the vitreous involvement in VRL with the help of multimodal imaging.MethodsIn this retrospective, observational study, we reviewed charts and imaging of all patients with biopsy-proven VRL seen from January 2016 to April 2018 at a single referral centre. These included ultrawide-field imaging, ophthalmic ultrasonography and slit-lamp photography. The main outcome measures were patterns of vitreous haze of VRL, as observed by combining clinical and multimodal imaging information.ResultsTwenty-six eyes of 13 patients were included. At presentation, vitreous haze was present in 24 eyes (92%) and was the only sign of VRL in 4 eyes (15%). Three patterns of vitreous haze were identified in VRL. An aurora borealis pattern was present in 12 eyes and showed linear opacities with a myriad of cells aligned along the vitreous fibrils. A string of pearls pattern was present in two eyes at baseline and developed in other four eyes after vitrectomy, showing fine fibrils connecting bunches of inflammatory material. A non-specific pattern was observed in 10 eyes. Ophthalmic ultrasound showed corpuscular material correlating with the grading of vitreous haze.ConclusionVRL shows different patterns of vitreous haze. Multimodal imaging, including ultrawide-field imaging and slit-lamp photography, helps in recognising these patterns, raising suspicion for VRL.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Vitreoretinal lymphoma is a serious disease with highly varied clinical presentations. The goal of this work is to identify the various presentations (clinical, imaging) in order to improve screening for this disease. MATERIALS AND METHOD We collected data of patients followed on our service for vitreoretinal lymphoma. The fundus exam, autofluorescence and angiography data were classified in order to identify signs, which might lead to earlier diagnosis of lymphoma. RESULTS The diagnosis of vitreoretinal lymphoma was confirmed by vitrectomy or cerebral biopsy for 12 patients (8 women and 4 men). Three clinical presentations were identified: no retinal involvement (2 patients), retinal infiltrate (4 patients) or acute retinal necrosis (3 patients). One patient had no imaging (deceased before it could be obtained), and two patients had uninterpretable imaging. CONCLUSION Vitreoretinal lymphoma remains a rare and under-diagnosed disease. The prognosis is related to early diagnosis. Multimodal imaging can help to diagnose early vitreoretinal lymphoma in some cases.

Abstract
Background In 2014, Pang et al. reported three cases with vitelliform submaculopathy as a preceding lesion of primary intraocular lymphoma (PIOL). Here, we report a case with an atypical presentation of PIOL who initially presented with vitelliform submaculopathy, vitreous haze and preripheral retinal focus. Case presentation A 73-year-old female initially visited another hospital with a chief complaint of acute reduced vision in the right eye. Funduscopic examination of the right eye showed a yellowish retinal lesion at the fovea with vitreous haze and retinal foci scattered in the peripheral region. Spectral-domain optic coherence tomography (SD-OCT) revealed a hyperreflective subretinal debris above the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) at the fovea, suggesting vitelliform submaculopathy. Vitrectomy was performed to improve visualization of the retinal lesions and for examination of PIOL. Vitreous cytology was class III and cytokine analysis of vitreous fluid showed increased IL-10 and an IL-10/IL-6 ratio >1, suggesting PIOL. Thereafter, there was a sub-RPE infiltration of presumed lymphoma in the nasal retina, and PCR analysis of anterior chamber fluid indicated IgH gene rearrangement, leading to diagnosis of PIOL. Three months later, there was complete disappearance of the vitelliform submacular lesion, with resultant disruption and thinning of the outer retinal layers on SD-OCT images. Conclusions Clinicians should be aware of atypical manifestations of PIOL such as vitelliform submaculopathy and peripheral retinal foci with vitreous haze. The patient’s unusual funduscopic changes are findings that have not reported in patients with PIOL.

Abstract
Fundus autofluorescence (FAF) is a non-invasive retinal imaging modality used in clinical practice to provide a density map of lipofuscin, the predominant ocular fluorophore, in the retinal pigment epithelium. Multiple commercially available imaging systems, including the fundus camera, the confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope, and the ultra-widefield imaging device, are available to the clinician. Each offers unique advantages for evaluating various retinal diseases. The clinical applications of FAF continue to expand. It is now an essential tool for evaluating age related macular degeneration, macular dystrophies, retinitis pigmentosa, white dot syndromes, retinal drug toxicities, and various other retinal disorders. FAF may detect abnormalities beyond those detected on funduscopic exam, fluorescein angiography, or optical coherence tomography, and can be used to elucidate disease pathogenesis, form genotype-phenotype correlations, diagnose and monitor disease, and evaluate novel therapies. Given its ease of use, non-invasive nature, and value in characterizing retinal disease, FAF enjoys increasing clinical relevance. This review summarizes common ocular fluorophores, imaging modalities, and FAF findings for a wide spectrum of retinal disorders.
