Abstract
BACKGROUND Adolescents in their school-age period undergo rapid changes in various aspects, such as physiological development, academic pressure, and interpersonal relationships, constitute a high-risk group for depression. Parental educational involvement, as a critical family variable, influences not only children's academic achievement but also their psychological well-being. However, previous research has shown significant discrepancies regarding the relationship between parental educational involvement and adolescent depressive symptoms. METHODS To elucidate the overall strength of the association between parental educational involvement and adolescent depressive symptoms, this study systematically searched Web of Science, Medline, PubMed, CNKI, and other Chinese and English databases. A meta-analysis was conducted on 22 selected studies encompassing 36 effect sizes and involving 390,094 participants. RESULTS The results revealed a moderate negative correlation between parental educational involvement and adolescent depressive symptoms (r = -0.200, 95% CI [-0.26, -0.14]). Additionally, the relationship between parental educational involvement and adolescent depressive symptoms was found to be moderated by factors such as adolescent age, grade level and the reporter of parental educational involvement. However, it was not influenced by the female ratio or cultural background. CONCLUSIONS This study offers the inaugural comprehensive assessment of the relationship between parental educational involvement and adolescent depressive symptoms, with variations observed across different ages, grade levels, and reporter of parental educational involvement.

Abstract
Background The long-term impact of COVID-19 on the mental health and well-being of college students, specifically trends over time after full removal of COVID-19 restrictions, has not been well-studied. Methods Four consecutive cross-sectional surveys were conducted in December 2022 (N = 689), March 2023 (N = 456), June 2023 (N = 300), and November 2023 (N = 601) at a university in Sichuan Province, China. Results The proportion of students with COVID-19 panic decreased from 95.1 to 77.3% (p < 0.001). The prevalence of moderate anxiety and above decreased from 18 to 13.6% (p < 0.001), and the prevalence of moderate and above depression decreased from 33.1 to 28.1% (p < 0.001), while the prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) increased from 21.5 to 29.6% (p < 0.005). Further, the proportion of suicidal thoughts increased from 7.7 to 14.8% (p < 0.001). Suicidal thoughts and self-injuries were significantly associated with COVID-19 panic, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Students who reported being in close contact with COVID-19 patients in the past were more likely to develop PTSD. Further, COVID-19-induced panic was a risk factor for self-injury. Conclusion One year after the COVID-19 pandemic, the overall mental health of college students was not optimal. Hence, we can conclude that the long-term impacts of COVID-19 on the mental health of college students may have already occurred. To mitigate this impact and prepare for the next major public health event, strengthening college students' mental health curricula and promoting healthy behaviors among college students should be a priority for universities and education authorities.

Abstract
This article aims to analyze the trend of publications on student stress and mental health topics during online learning as well as the potential for post-COVID-19 curriculum development. 1456 articles were analyzed by the bibliometric method. Data were obtained from the Scopus database consisting of 1382 articles, 73 review articles, 1 conference article. Based on the analysis, Li X is the most productive author with 16 documents, while in terms of the number of citations, Wang C ranks first with 3897 citations. Meanwhile the most frequently used keywords were COVID-19 (n = 862), followed by stress (n = 312), mental health (n = 260), anxiety (n = 248), and depression (n = 214). These represent the trend of publications related to the topics discussed in 2020. Moreover, alternative research themes such as online learning, higher education, sleep, loneliness, perceived stress, insomnia, emotional intelligence, and psychological resilience can be further investigated in the future. This article recommends developing a curriculum that can accommodate various issues during COVID-19 and the changing learning climate after the pandemic. The potential for post-COVID-19 school curriculum development is also discussed.

Abstract
This study aimed to determine the mental health condition of vocational high school students in Indonesia during the pandemic using the Rasch analysis method with the DASS-42 instrument. A total of 1381 vocational students in Indonesia participated in this study through the questionnaire. The results showed that more than 60 % of Indonesian vocational students experienced mental health problems during the COVID-19 pandemic due to social restrictions, and online learning. Furthermore, the findings of this study showed that mental health issues were mostly experienced by female students, firstborn children, and students who live in rural areas, and from middle-income backgrounds.

Abstract
Background The COVID-19 pandemic has led to public health problems, including depression. There has been a significant increase in research on depression during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, little attention has been paid to the overall trend in this field based on bibliometric analyses. Methods Co-Occurrence (COOC) and VOSviewer bibliometric methods were utilized to analyze depression in COVID-19 literature in the core collection of the Web of Science (WOS). The overall characteristics of depression during COVID-19 were summarized by analyzing the number of published studies, keywords, institutions, and countries. Results A total of 9,694 English original research articles and reviews on depression during COVID-19 were included in this study. The United States, China, and the United Kingdom were the countries with the largest number of publications and had close cooperation with each other. Research institutions in each country were dominated by universities, with the University of Toronto being the most productive institution in the world. The most frequently published author was Ligang Zhang. Visualization analysis showed that influencing factors, adverse effects, and coping strategies were hotspots for research. Conclusion The results shed light on the burgeoning research on depression during COVID-19, particularly the relationship between depression and public health. In addition, future research on depression during COVID-19 should focus more on special groups and those at potential risk of depression in the general population, use more quantitative and qualitative studies combined with more attention to scale updates, and conduct longitudinal follow-ups of the outcomes of interventions. In conclusion, this study contributes to a more comprehensive view of the development of depression during COVID-19 and suggests a theoretical basis for future research on public health.
