Abstract
By combining hydrazide with 2-Acetylpyridine, a hydrazone ligand (HL) was successfully created. Several copper (II) salts have been used to create three copper (II) hydrazone complexes (acetate, sulphate, and chloride). The hydrazide ligand and its copper (II) complexes (1-3) were studied via variety of analytical techniques, including elemental analysis, electronic, infrared, UV-vis Spectrum, XRD study, thermal analysis, also molar conductivity amounts. The spectrum results indicate that in all complexes, the ligand exhibits monobasic tridentate behavior. Octahedral geometries were present in all metal complexes. The Coats-Redfern equations were used to compute and describe the dynamics properties of several steps of TGA (Ea, A, ΔH*, ΔS*, and ΔG*). Calculations using the density functional theory (DFT) were done at the molecular studio software toward examine ligands agent's and its complexes' best structures. The MCF-7 in addition to HepG-2 cell lines was resistant to tumor-inducing effects of the copper (II) chelates. The in vitro antioxidant capacities of all complexes have been estimated via DPPH free radical scavenger assays. Furthermore, zones of inhibition length accustomed to test antimicrobial effect of particular complexes in vitro towards Staphylococcus aureus (Gram positive bacteria) E. coli (Gram negative bacteria). Both absorption spectra and viscosity measurements in calf thymus DNA binding have been used to study the complexes. In order to explore docking research of copper (II) chelates, the crystallographic construction of the SARS-active CoV-2's site protein (PDB ID:6XBH) was used (COVID-19) and breast cancer distorted (PDB ID: 3hb5).

Abstract
In this study, an efficient catalyst based on graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets (CN) and copper(II) supported β-cyclodextrin (β-CD/Cu(II)) was synthesized and used for tandem oxidative amidation of benzylic alcohols. In this regard, CN was functionalized by β-CD/Cu(II) via 1,3-dibromopropane linker (CN-Pr-β-CD/Cu(II)). The prepared catalyst was characterized using FT-IR, XRD, FE-SEM, EDS, TGA, ICP-OES, BET, and TEM analyses. CN-Pr-β-CD/Cu(II) was subsequently applied in a direct oxidative amidation reaction and it was observed that different benzyl alcohols were converted to desire amides with good to excellent efficiency. This reaction was performed in the presence of amine hydrochloride salts, tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP), and Ca2CO3 in acetonitrile (CH3CN) under nitrogen atmosphere. CN-Pr-β-CD/Cu(II) can be recycled and reused five times without significant reduction in reaction efficiency.

Abstract
A variety of polycyclic pyridines have been proposed as inhibitors of the small conductance calcium-activated potassium (SK) channel. To this group belongs 2,6-bis(2-benzimidazolyl)pyridine (BBP), a commercially and readily available small organic compound which has earlier been described in a broad range of chemical and biological uses. Here, we show how BBP can also be used as a potent and specific SK channel blocker in vitro. The potency of BBP was measured using automatic patch clamp on all three SK channel subtypes, resulting in similar IC50 of 0.4 μM. We also assessed the selectivity of BBP on a panel of calcium-activated and voltage-activated potassium channels using two-electrode voltage clamp, automatic and manual patch clamp. BBP did not have any effect on IK, Kir2.1, Kir3.1+Kir3.4, Kv1.5, Kv4.3/KCHIP2 and Kv7.1/KCNE1 currents and was 4.8-fold and 46-fold more potent on all SK channel subtypes vs. BK and hERG channels, respectively. Moreover, we were able to identify H491 as a critical amino acid for the pharmacological effect of BBP on the SK channel. From a medicinal chemistry perspective, BBP could be used as a starting point for the design of new and improved SK inhibitors.
