Dendritic Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticle Supported PtSn Catalysts for Propane Dehydrogenation. Int J Mol Sci 2022; 23:ijms232112724. Abstract
PtSn catalysts were synthesized by incipient-wetness impregnation using a dendritic mesoporous silica nanoparticle support. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption–desorption, TEM, XPS and Raman, and their catalytic performance for propane dehydrogenation was tested. The influences of Pt/Sn ratios were investigated. Changing the Pt/Sn ratios influences the interaction between Pt and Sn. The catalyst with a Pt/Sn ratio of 1:2 possesses the highest interaction between Pt and Sn. The best catalytic performance was obtained for the Pt1Sn2/DMSN catalyst with an initial propane conversion of 34.9%. The good catalytic performance of this catalyst is ascribed to the small nanoparticle size of PtSn and the favorable chemical state and dispersion degree of Pt and Sn species.

Abstract
L-Lactide is an intermediate for the industrial production of polylactic acid (PLA). The chemical and optical purities of lactide determine the quality of the prepared PLA. It is of great challenge to synthesize L-lactide efficiently with high chemical and optical purities under the conditions applicable for industrial production. With the national plastic reduction order issued, developing biodegradable materials such as PLA has gradually become a hot topic, and the production of upstream lactide is the key technique for the whole industrial chain. This mini-review aims to summarize typical works on the related synthetic technology development in recent years.

MgF2-Modified Hydrotalcite-Derived Composites Supported Pt-In Catalysts for Isobutane Direct Dehydrogenation. Catalysts 2021. Abstract
Here, a simple method was developed to prepare an MgF2-modified hydrotalcite-derived composite, which was used as support for the Pt-In catalyst for isobutane direct dehydrogenation. The catalysts, composites, and their precursors were characterized by numerous characterization techniques. The results provided evidence for the MgF2 promoter effect on the physical–chemical properties and dehydrogenation performance of the supported Pt-In catalysts. The catalyst with MgF2 shows exceptional isobutene selectivity that can be stabilized at 95%, and the conversion increases from 50% to 58% during the reaction process. Moreover, the existence of MgF2 plays an important role in the resistance to coke formation and Pt sintering by improving the Pt dispersion, inhibiting the reduction of the In3+ species, and adjusting the acidity of the catalyst.

One-Step Fabrication of PtSn/γ-Al2O3 Catalysts with La Post-Modification for Propane Dehydrogenation. Catalysts 2020. Abstract
The catalytic dehydrogenation of propane to propene is an alternative technique to supplement the traditional steam cracking and catalytic cracking process for satisfying the continuously increasing demand for propylene downstream products. In this study, the parent PtSn/γ-Al2O3 catalyst was fabricated via the one-step method for the subsequent La post-modification to prepare the catalysts for propane dehydrogenation. The prepared and spent catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption–desorption, scanning electron microscope (SEM), NH3 temperature-programmed desorption (NH3-TPD), H2 temperature-programmed desorption (H2-TPR), and thermogravimetric (TG) analysis. The catalytic performance and characterization results demonstrated that the addition of La into the parent catalyst could significantly improve the catalytic performance of the prepared catalyst. Especially, the PtSn-La2.2 catalyst with the 2.2 wt.% La addition exhibited the stable and highest propylene selectivity (>84%) under the investigation time of 800 min. The introduced La exhibits the ability to adjust the textural properties of the obtained catalysts, curb the acidity of support, promote the reduction of Pt species, and reduce the carbon accumulation on the prepared catalysts.
