Abstract
In recent years, rare-earth-based phosphors for near-ultraviolet (NUV)-triggered white light emitting diodes (w-LEDs) have become a research hotspot. However, it is still not possible to obtain phosphors with high quantum yield, excellent color purity and multiple applications. Hence, a series of novel Eu3+-activated Ca3Ga2Ge4O14 (CGG) red-emitting phosphors with high quantum efficiency, excellent color purity and good thermal stability were prepared by a high-temperature solid-phase method. All the CGG:Eu3+ phosphors emitted dazzling red emission with excitation at 394 nm. The optimal Eu3+ doping concentration of compounds was 12% with an excellent color purity of 97.89%, and the concentration quenching mechanism was investigated as dipole-dipole interactions. Meanwhile, the synthetic samples exhibited good thermal stability with the activation energy of 0.26 eV. Remarkably, the internal quantum yield of the prepared phosphors reaches 94.26%. Furthermore, the emission spectra of the prepared red-LEDs overlap considerably with the absorption spectra of PR and PFR required for plant growth. The w-LED device emits warm white light with a high color rendering index of 91.64 and an appropriate correlated color temperature of 4808 K. These excellent luminescence properties indicate that the prepared CGG:Eu3+ phosphors exhibit extensive potential for applications in plant growth lighting and white LEDs.

Abstract
In the present system, Sm3+ activated Ba2BiV3O11 nanomaterial series radiating orange-red light was developed via an efficient approach of solution combustion method. The structural examinations using XRD analysis indicate that the sample is crystallized into the monoclinic phase with the P21/a (14) space group. The elemental composition and morphological conduct were studied via energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) respectively. Also, the formation of nanoparticles was confirmed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Photoluminescent (PL) examinations reveal the orange-red emission from the developed nanocrystals via documenting the emission spectra, which reveals the peak at 606 nm due to the 4G5/2 → 6H7/2 transition. Further, the decay time, non-radiative rates, quantum efficiency, and band gap of the optimal sample were computed as 1.3263 ms, 219.5 s- 1, 70.88%, and 3.41 eV respectively. Finally, the chromatic parameters including color - coordinates (0.5565, 0.4426), 1975 K color correlated temperature (CCT), and color purity (85.58%) reflected their excellent luminous performance. The above-mentioned outcomes endorsed the relevancy of the developed nanomaterials as a propitious agent in the engineering of advanced illuminating optoelectronic appliances.

Abstract
A novel manufacturing process is presented for producing nanopowders and thin films of CuCoO2 (CCO) material. This process utilizes three cost-effective synthesis methods: hydrothermal, sol-gel, and solid-state reactions. The resulting delafossite CuCoO2 samples were deposited onto transparent substrates through spray pyrolysis, forming innovative thin films with a nanocrystal powder structure. Prior to the transformation into thin films, CuCoO2 powder was first produced using a low-cost approach. The precursors for both powders and thin films were deposited onto glass surfaces using a spray pyrolysis process, and their characteristics were examined through X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, HR-TEM, UV-visible spectrophotometry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) analyses were conducted to determine the conductivity in the transversal direction of this groundbreaking material for solar cell applications. On the other hand, the sheet resistance of the samples was investigated using the four-probe method to obtain the sheet resistivity and then calculate the in-plane conductivity of the samples. We also investigated the aging characteristics of different precursors with varying durations. The functional properties of CuCoO2 samples were explored by studying chelating agent and precursor solution aging periods using Density Functional Theory calculations (DFT). A complementary Density Functional Theory study was also performed in order to evaluate the electronic structure of this compound. Resuming, this study thoroughly discusses the synthesis of delafossite powders and their conversion into thin films, which hold potential as hole transport layers in transparent optoelectronic devices.

Abstract
Here, we report a series of white-emitting Ba(La2-x Dy x )ZnO5 (x = 0-7 mol%) phosphors synthesized via a high-temperature solid-state reaction. The synthesized phosphor's phase purity and tetragonal crystal structure were confirmed by an X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) pattern. The wide bandgap characteristic feature was assessed through reflectance spectra, and the estimated bandgap was found to be 4.70 eV. Besides analyzing the effect of doping on the surface morphology, the distribution of ions on the surface was observed through the secondary ion mass spectroscopy technique. The synthesized phosphor was found to display bluish (486 nm) and yellowish (576 nm) bands in the emission spectra under the excitation of 325 nm and 352 nm, which together are responsible for producing the white luminescence. The analysis of Judd-Ofelt parameters indicates the symmetric nature of Dy3+ substitution in the present host. The thermal stability of the phosphor was assessed by varying the temperature up to 403 K, and it was found that the synthesized phosphor possesses improved thermal stability with an activation energy of 0.29 eV. The photometric evaluations of the present phosphor revealed the CIE coordinates around the near-white regime (0.3448, 0.3836), along with the color-correlated temperature value of 5102 K. All research on this luminescent material's unique features points to the possibility of using it to fabricate white-light-emitting devices for solid-state lighting applications.

Abstract
A bifunctional luminescent material is one of the most intriguing topics in recent years with significant growth in the number of investigations. Herein, we report the potential of Ba2MgWO6 doped with Er3+ as a candidate for white-light emitting phosphor and noncontact luminescent thermometry. The synthesis of the samples was carried out by the co-precipitation method. The influence of the dopant concentration on the emission intensity, as well as the capability of temperature readout, was investigated for the first time. The highest emission intensity exhibits a sample comprising 4% Er3+; above it, the concentration quenching process by the dipole-dipole interaction occurs. However, high quality white light generates Ba2MgWO6 with 0.5% of Er3+ due to the coexistence of the host and erbium ion emission with a CIE of (0.30, 0.35). To construct a non-contact luminescent thermometer based on Er3+, the ratio of the emission from 4I11/2 → 4I15/2 to the host emission was examined. The highest sensitivity Sr of the obtained luminescent thermometers was 2.78% K-1 at 198 K. The repeatability of the calculated results and the uncertainty δT of the temperature readout were investigated.
