Abstract
An efficient, tandem one-pot approach to synthesize multisubstituted 2-acylpyrroles from readily prepared N-tosyl triazoles and 2-hydroxymethylallyl carbonates is reported. The reaction proceeds via Rh(II)-catalyzed O-H insertion, [3,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement, Pd(0)-catalyzed oxidative addition, intramolecular cyclization, DBU-promoted E1cB elimination, double bond isomerization, and aromatization, enabling the disconnection and formation of multiple bonds in one reactor. The approach represents a highly regioselective way to access di-, tri-, and tetra-substituted NH pyrroles with high efficiency.

Abstract
1-Butyl-3-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulfate [bmim]HSO4 as a non-halogenated ionic
liquid was loaded on graphene oxide ([bmim]HSO4/GO) and employed as a green, reusable, solid
nanocatalyst for the preparation of polysubstituted pyrroles in the presence of amines (such as benzeneamine,
2-amino-4-methylthiazole, adenine (9H-purin-6-amine)), benzaldehydes or cinnamaldehyde
or furfural, 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds, and nitromethane at 90-95°C. The advantages of this protocol
are the synthesis of some novel polysubstituted pyrroles containing fluorine atoms, thiazole and
adenine nuclei that are very important in pharmaceutical and drug discovery research in comparison to
previously reported results.

Abstract
Pyrroles are the most prevalent heterocyclic compounds, which are present as the basic cores in
many natural products, such as vitamin B12, bile pigments like bilirubin and biliverdin, the porphyrins of
heme, chlorophyll, chlorins, bacteriochlorins, and porphyrinogens. The biological activities of compounds
having pyrrole analogs include antimicrobial (antibacterial, antifungal), anti-cancer (anti-cytotoxic, antimitotic),
anti-tumor, anti-hyperlipidemic, anti-depressant, anti-inflammatory, antihyperglycemic, antiproliferative,
anti-HIV and anti-viral activities. Accordingly, significant attention has been paid to develop competent
methods for the synthesis of pyrroles with improved yields in short times. This review gives an overview of
different methods for the synthesis of pyrrole using easily available precursors using the following routes.
Synthesis of monosubstituted pyrrole using 2,5-dimethoxyfuran
Synthesis of pyrrole using dialkylacetylene dicarboxylate
Synthesis of pyrroles using β-ketoester
Synthesis of pyrrole using 1,2-dicarbonyl compounds
Synthesis of pyrroles using 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds
Synthesis of pyrroles using 1,3-dicarbonyl, amine, nitro and aldehyde group
Synthesis of pyrroles using 1,4-dicarbonyl compound and amines
Synthesis of pyrrole using enones

Abstract
:
Synthesis of symmetrical 1,3-diynes from terminal alkynes through an oxidative
process is generally called Glaser coupling. The classic Glaser coupling is catalyzed
by copper salts under an atmosphere of molecular oxygen as an oxidant. Over the past
years, different metal catalysts and oxidants were successfully used in this atom economical
C-C coupling reaction. Moreover, several procedures for the preparation of unsymmetrical
1,3-diynes by coupling two different alkyne substrates have been developed. In this
review, we will highlight the usefulness of transition metal nanoparticles as efficient catalysts
in homo- and hetero-coupling of alkynes by hoping that it will be beneficial to the
development of novel and extremely efficient catalytic systems for this fast-growing and
important reaction.

Abstract
Transition-metal catalyzed cross-dehydrogenative-coupling reactions encompass highly versatile and atom economical methods for the construction of various carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bonds by combining two C(X)-H (X = heteroatom) bonds. Along this line, direct acyloxylation of C-H bonds with carboxylic acids has emerged as a powerful and green approach for the synthesis of structurally diverse esters. In this focus-review we will describe recent progress in direct esterification of aromatic C-H bonds with special emphasis on the mechanistic features of the reactions. Literature has been surveyed until the end of February 2019.

Abstract
An effective process for the green and rapid synthesis of biologically active polysubstituted pyrroles and 1,2,4,5-tetrasubstituted imidazoles derivatives using Cu@imine/Fe3O4 MNPs catalyst under solvent-free conditions is explained. This catalyst showed high reactivity for the synthesis of a set of different derivatives of polysubstituted pyrroles and 1,2,4,5-tetrasubstituted imidazole derivatives under appropriate reaction conditions and short times. Moreover, the catalyst was also recycled and reused for six runs with no considerable reduction in reactivity and yields. Compared to the reported procedures, this method consistently demonstrates the advantages of low catalyst loading, short reaction times, easy separation and purification of the products, high yields, and high recoverability and recoverability of the catalyst. So the use of Fe3O4@SiO2–ZrCl2-MNPs leads to an improved protocol in terms of the compatibility with the environment, yields of the products, reaction times and the amount of the catalyst when compared with other catalysts.![]()

Abstract
The diaryl ether moiety is not only prevalent in a significant number of natural products and synthetic pharmaceuticals but also widely found in many pesticides, polymers, and ligands. Ullmann-type cross-coupling reactions between phenols and aryl halides are regarded as one of the most important methods for the synthesis of this important and versatile structural motif. In recent years, the use of nano-sized metal catalysts in this coupling reaction has attracted a lot of attention because of these catalysts with their high surface-to-volume ratio, high surface energy, and reactive morphology allows for rapid C-O bond formation under mild and ligand-free conditions. In this review we will highlight the power of these catalysts in Ullmann-type C-O cross-coupling reactions.

Abstract
Pyrrole is one of the most important one-ring heterocycles. The ready availability of suitably substituted and functionalized pyrrole derivatives is essential for the progress of many branches of science, including biology and materials science. Access to this key heterocycle by multicomponent routes is particularly attractive in terms of synthetic efficiency, and also from the environmental point of view. We update here our previous review on this topic by describing the progress made in this area in the period between mid-2009 and the end of 2013.
