Abstract
The occurrence and ecological impacts of emerging fungicides in the environment has gained increasing attention. This study applied an in-jar passive sampling device based on silicone rubber (SR) film to measuring the freely dissolved concentration (Cfree) of 6 current-use fungicides as a critical index of bioavailability in water and soils. The kinetics parameters including SR-water, soil-water, and organic carbon-water partition coefficients and sampling rates of the target fungicides were first attained and characterized well with their physicochemical properties. The in situ and ex situ field deployment in Hefei City provided the assessment of contaminated levels for these fungicides in rivers and soils. The Cfree of triadimefon and azoxystrobin was estimated at 0.54 ± 0.07-17.4 ± 2.5 ng L-1 in Nanfei River and Chao Lake, while triadimefon was only found in Dongpu Reservoir water with Cfree below 0.66 ± 0.04 ng L-1. The results exhibited that the equilibrium duration of 7 d was suitable for water application but a longer interval of 14 d was recommended for soil sampling. This work demonstrated the advantages of the proposed strategy in terms of fast monitoring within 2 weeks and high sensitivity down to detection limits in 0.5-5 ng L-1. The in-jar passive sampling device can be extrapolated to the evaluation for a wide coverage of organic pollutants in water and soils.

Abstract
Plants are essential for life on earth, and agricultural crops are a primary food source for humans. For the One Health future, crop health is crucial for safe, high-quality agricultural products and the development of future green commodities. However, the overuse of pesticides in modern agriculture raises concerns about their adverse effects on crop resistance and product quality. Recently, biostimulants, including microecological bacteria agents and nanoparticles, have garnered worldwide interest for their ability to sustain plant health and enhance crop resistance. This review analyzed the effects and mechanisms of pesticide stress on crop health. It also investigated the regulation of biostimulants on crop health and the multiomics mechanism, combining research on nanoselenium activating various crop health aspects conducted by the authors' research group. The paper helps readers understand the impact of pesticides on crop health and the positive influence of various biostimulants, especially nanomaterials and small molecules, on crop health.

Abstract
Triazoles inhibit lanosterol 14α-demethylase and block ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal pathogens. However, they also interact with other cytochrome P450 enzymes and influence non-target metabolic pathways. Disturbingly, triazoles may interact with essential elements. The interaction of penconazole (Pen), cyproconazole (Cyp) and tebuconazole (Teb) with Zn2+ results in the formation of deprotonated ligands in their complexes or in the creation of complexes with Cl- as a counterion or doubly charged complexes. Triazoles, as well as their equimolar cocktails with Zn2+ (10-6 mol/L), decreased the activities of the non-target enzymes CYP19A1 and CYP3A4. Pen most decreased CYP19A1 activity and was best bound to its active centre to block the catalytic cycle in computational analysis. For CYP3A4, Teb was found to be the most effective inhibitor by both, activity assay and interaction with the active centre. Teb/Cyp/Zn2+ and Teb/Pen/Cyp/Zn2+ cocktails also decreased the CYP19A1 activity, which was in correlation with the formation of numerous triazole-Zn2+ complexes.

Abstract
Triazole fungicides can threaten plants as abiotic stressors but can also positively affect plant defense by inducing priming. Thus, plant yield is also both protected and endangered by triazoles that may influence several metabolic pathways during maturation processes, such as the biosynthesis of saccharides or secondary metabolites. Here, Solanum lycopersicum L. plants were exposed to foliar and soil applications of penconazole, tebuconazole, or their combination, and their resulting effect on tomato fruits was followed. The exposure to the equimolar mixture of both triazoles influenced the representation of free proteinogenic amino acids, especially Gln, Glu, Gly, Ile, Lys, Ser and Pro, saccharide content, and led to a significant increase in the contents of total phenolics and flavonoids as well as positive stimulation of the non-enzymatic antioxidant system. Among the identified secondary metabolites, the most abundant was naringenin, followed by chlorogenic acid in tomato peel. In turn, all triazole-treated groups showed a significantly lower content of rosmarinic acid in comparison with the control. Foliar application of penconazole affected the fruit more than other single triazole applications, showing a significant decrease in antioxidant capacity, the total content of secondary metabolites, and the activities of total membrane-bound peroxidases and ascorbate peroxidase.

Abstract
The existing QuEChERS-combined analytical pretreatment methods are limited by large reagent consumption, high environmental burden, and mediocre effects. To provide an efficient and green pretreatment method, this study developed pH-responsive switchable deep eutectic solvents (SDESs) to extract triazole fungicides (TFs) from fruit peel wastes, which could enhance the preconcentration effect of target compounds in food waste samples with complex matrices. The mechanisms of pH-induced phase transition and hydrophobicity-hydrophilicity conversion of pH-responsive SDESs were investigated by pH phase diagrams and chemical characterization techniques, respectively. We validated the established method by high-performance liquid chromatography-diode array detector (HPLC-DAD), and lower LOD (0.089-0.351 ng mL-1), LOQ (0.297-1.172 ng mL-1), RSD (≤8.8 %) and satisfactory recoveries (90.6 %-110.9 %) and preconcentration factors (389-512) were obtained in rotting grape peel, watermelon peel, and orange peel samples. Our findings highlight the potential of pH-responsive SDESs in the extraction and analysis of various natural food products.

Abstract
Agricultural plants are continuously exposed to environmental stressors, which can lead to a significant reduction in yield and even the death of plants. One of the ways to mitigate stress impacts is the inoculation of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), including bacteria from the genus Azospirillum, into the rhizosphere of plants. Different representatives of this genus have different sensitivities or resistances to osmotic stress, pesticides, heavy metals, hydrocarbons, and perchlorate and also have the ability to mitigate the consequences of such stresses for plants. Bacteria from the genus Azospirillum contribute to the bioremediation of polluted soils and induce systemic resistance and have a positive effect on plants under stress by synthesizing siderophores and polysaccharides and modulating the levels of phytohormones, osmolytes, and volatile organic compounds in plants, as well as altering the efficiency of photosynthesis and the antioxidant defense system. In this review, we focus on molecular genetic features that provide bacterial resistance to various stress factors as well as on Azospirillum-related pathways for increasing plant resistance to unfavorable anthropogenic and natural factors.

Abstract
Fluopimomide is a novel acid amide fungicide registered for the control of many plant pathogens. In the present study, the effects of soil-treated fluopimomide on soil micro biomass, disease incidence, plant growth, soil enzyme activity, and marketable yield of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) were investigated via field trial. In addition, the application prospect in China was also evaluated. In the experiment, five treatments with three replications and a randomized complete block design were followed. The treatments were: furrow application of fluopimomide (25% suspension concentrate, SC) at the dosage of 375, 750, and 1,500 g ha−1, which was recommended, double recommended, and quadruple recommended dosages, respectively. Besides, common control fungicide fluopicolide (5% SC) furrow was applied at recommended application dosages of 750 mL ha−1, and a non-treated control was also undertaken. Results indicated that fluopimomide exhibited no effects on the amount of soil bacteria and actinomycetes, and its inhibition effect on fungi amount could be recovered at 60 days after treatment (DAT). With the recommended application dosage, fluopimomide could efficiently reduce the number of plant pathogens in soil by 79.56–85.80%, significantly reduce the disease incidences in tomato plants by 80.00–88.24%, and improve plant height by 13.25–24.05% and marketable yield by 16.88%. Furthermore, soil enzymes exhibited a complex response to fluopimomide, and AOB and nifH gene copy numbers were increased by the double and quadruple recommended dosage of fluopimomide. Based on the above results, fluopimomide could be recommended as an efficient fungicide for the tomato field.

Abstract
Preparations for protecting plants, particularly those with fungicidal activity, continue to be relevant in agricultural production. They are used to effectively combat phytopathogens and ensure high yield of cultivated plants. However, they are among the anthropogenic factors which impose a heavy chemical load on ecosystems. Data about the effects of pesticides on physiological parameters of plants are essential for understanding the main regulatory mechanisms as preconditions to the phytotoxic state of compounds, as well as greater substantial understanding of the functional condition and implementation of adaptive potential of plants during and post stress. An important and relevant task – both practically and theoretically in the conditions of action of fungicide on seeds - is studying the possibilities of application of phytolectines as biologically active compounds with broad spectrum of action, including fungicidal effect, for spraying legumes in order to stabilize their development, ensure effective functioning of legume-rhizobial symbioses and cause fuller realization of productive potential against the background of decrease in chemical pressure on agrocenoses. Therefore, we aimed to evaluate the biological activity of soybean seed lectin (according to the parameters of productivity and functional activity of soybean-rhizobial symbiosis) at the spraying of Glycine max (L.) Merr. plants against the background of seed treatment of pesticide, Standak Top with fungicidal and insecticidal actions on the day of sowing and inoculation with Bradyrhizobium japonicum 634b. We used physiological, biochemical, microbiological and statistical methods of studies. We determined that Standak Top, applied on soybeans that were afterwards inoculated with rhizobia, exerted negative tendency on formation of vegetative mass by plants at the beginning of vegetation, though in the following phases of ontogenesis, their development and productivity reached the level of the control. Nitrogenase activity of symbiosis and the condition of photosynthetic pigment complex (content of chlorophyll and carotenoids and their ratio) were at the level or significantly lower than in the control plants. After spraying soybeans with lectin (without use of the fungicide) in the phase of development of two true leaves, there occurred significant increase in functional activity of the symbiotic system (according to total nitrogenase activity of symbiosis, higher by 1.91 and 1.79 times compared with the controls with inoculation and inoculation + fungicide) and the content of photosynthetic pigments (chlorophylls were higher by 1.12–1.45 times, carotenoids by 1.14–1.39 times) and development of strong leaf apparatus (by 1.33–1.42 times). This caused highest level of realization (by 13.9% and 10.1% higher compared with the controls with inoculation and inoculation + fungicide) of productive potential of cultivated plants. After spraying plants with soybean lectin against the background of use of fungicide, notable and reliable increases occurred in the level of absorption of molecular nitrogen (by 1.72 and 1.52 times according to total activity of symbiosis, compared with the controls with inoculation and inoculation + fungicide), content of chlorophyll (1.25–1.64 times) and carotenoids (1.12–1.42 times) in leaves of soybean, and also plants were actively developing during vegetation (1.12–1.40 times), producing yield that exceeded by 12.8% and 9.1% the controls with inoculation and inoculation + fungicide. Therefore, use of soybean seed lectin for spraying plants against the background of seed treatment of pesticide Standak Top on day of sowing can stabilize and even increase the level of realization of symbiotic and productive potential of soybean-rhizobial symbiosis compared both with the control (inoculation with rhizobia) and the variant with treatment of seeds (rhizobia + fungicide). This indicates on the perspectives of further studies of biological activity of phytolectins aiming at decreasing chemical pressure on ecosystems by leveling out or decreasing the negative impact of chemical means of protection on the plants and symbiosis.

Abstract
In this study, non-targeted and targeted metabolomics/lipidomics studies based on UPLC-QTOF-MS and UPLC-MS/MS were carried out to clarify the effects of tebuconazole and its different enantiomers on lettuce metabolites and lipids. Slight enantioselective degradation of tebuconazole was observed and six degradation metabolites were tentatively identified. The endogenous metabolites involved in carbohydrate metabolism, amino acid metabolism, nucleic acid metabolism, phenylpropanoid and flavonoid metabolism, vitamins, and lipid metabolism were significantly affected with enantioselectivity by tebuconazole exposure. Nucleotide metabolism and nicotinic acid metabolic network were significantly activated by the stimulation of tebuconazole. Rac- and (-)-R-tebuconazole caused the down-regulation of soluble sugars and subsequent amino acids and organic acids. Overall, lettuce exposed to tebuconazole was shown to have a significant impact on plant metabolism and lipid metabolism, with notable stereoselectivity. The results showed stereoselective toxicity of tebuconazole and provided a better understanding of its metabolomic and lipidomic effects on lettuce.

Abstract
Triazolic fungicides are widely applied in crop production to protect plants against fungal pathogens. However, they may influence the biochemical processes in plants and other non-target species. This paper is aimed at the effect of triazoles (namely tebuconazole, cyproconazole, and penconazole) single/mixed applications on the phenolics production in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) fruit peel, amount of chlorophyll a and b in tomato leaves as well as on basic plant growth parameters. For this purpose, cherry tomatoes were planted in the pot experiment and foliarly-treated weekly, with the same total triazoles dose of 3.52 μmol per plant (in mixtures of 1.71 or 1.17 μmol of each in two or three components, respectively). The treatments increased the weight of fruits in the 1st harvest about 43%, however, this effect was not observed in the next harvest. Increased oxidative stress in the triazoles presence was observed, based on the elevated production of antioxidant phenolics in the 1st harvest. Most alarming is the decrease of the weight of thin stems and foliage and the concentration of chlorophyll a (b) in leaves in all triazoles-treated variants. The non-target impacts on plant biochemical processes (related to the phenolics or chlorophylls production and functionality) were confirmed.

Abstract
Triazole fungicides (TAFs) are frequently used fungicides for various antifungal treatments of crops. Tre treatment is provided foliarly. However, some significant amount of TAFs may remain on/in fruits. We have developed a methodology for the determination of penconazole, tebuconazole and cyproconazole in tomato fruit peel. The extraction of TAFs was provided with chloroform (acidified with 0.1% acetic acid). In the electrokinetic chromatography, the mixed micellar pseudo-stationary phase was composed of anionic detergent sodium dodecyl sulphate (15 mM) and randomly highly sulphated gamma-cyclodextrin (17.5 mg/mL). The background electrolyte consisted of 100 mM phosphoric acid and 100 mM Tris in the mixed hydro-organic solvent water/methanol (80/20 v/v), apparent pH 4.8. Complete separation of penconazole, tebuconazole, and two diastereomers of cyproconazole with resolutions higher than 5.1 were achieved within a relatively short time of less than 17 min in the bare fused silica capillary of 425/500 mm total/effective lengths and 50/375 μm I.D./O.D. at separation voltage -15 kV (cathode at injection capillary end) and at constant capillary cassette temperature of 22°C. The TAFs were detected by a UV-spectrophotometric diode array detector set at 200 nm. The limits of detection and limits of quantification were in the range of 71-92 and 214-278 μg/kg of peel, respectively. Analyses of the peel extracts revealed that even 10 days after the last treatment, TAF concentrations were higher than the recommended maximum residue limits in both application ways, as individual as well as in the TAF binary or ternary mixtures.
