Abstract
Primary seminal vesicle Burkitt lymphoma (PSBL) is rare that is not frequently reported. Burkitt lymphoma is often associated with extranodal organs. The diagnosis of carcinoma in seminal vesical can be difficult. In this report, we present a missed case of PSBL in a male patient who underwent radical prostate and seminal vesicle resection. We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data to explore the diagnosis, pathological features, treatment, and prognosis of this rare disease. The patient visited our hospital for dysuria, and the serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA) was moderately elevated. Pelvic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) scans suggested a notable enlargement of the seminal vesicle. The patient then underwent radical surgery and the pathology diagnosis revealed Burkitt lymphoma. The diagnosis of PSBL is difficult, and the prognosis is generally poorer than that of other types of lymphoma. However, earlier diagnosis and treatment may help to improve the survival rate among patients with Burkitt lymphoma.

Ductal adenocarcinoma of the prostate or seminal vesicle adenocarcinoma: An multi-disciplinary team (MDT) case report and literature review. Curr Urol 2022; 16:107-113. Abstract
We introduced a 61-year-old male with ductal adenocarcinoma of the prostate who underwent a tortuous diagnosis and treatment. Multi-disciplinary team meetings organized by our hospital have shown great value in the whole process. The patient presented with gross hematuria accompanied by frequent urination initially, and was diagnosed with ductal adenocarcinoma of the prostate involving right seminal vesicle gland and urethra by urethroscopy biopsy. The clinical stage of tumor was T3bN0M0. After 4 cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, the tumor shrank significantly and the patient underwent a laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. But the patient declined to continue chemotherapy postoperatively. After 10 months, the serum prostatic specific antigen increased to 0.05 ng/mL, and multiple metastases were found in the patient's bilateral lungs. However, an unexpected diagnosis of seminal vesicle adenocarcinoma was put forward from another hospital after supplementary pathologic immunohistochemical examination. Then, after careful discussion and demonstration by our multi-disciplinary team experts, we insisted on the diagnosis of ductal adenocarcinoma of the prostate and suggested that the original regimen of chemotherapy should be continued. Up-to-date, 14 months after the operation, the patient continues to survive while undergoing ongoing active treatment as recommended.

Abstract
NKX3.1 is considered a reliable immunohistochemical marker of prostatic origin with high specificity and sensitivity. However, NKX3.1 positivity has been described in other neoplastic and non-neoplastic tissues, such as mesenchymal chondrosarcoma, sex-cord stromal tumors, rete testis adenocarcinoma, lobular and ductal carcinoma of the breast, salivary glands, peribronchial submucosal glands, and Sertoli cells. We analyzed expression of two antibodies (mono and polyclonal) of NKX3.1 in a total of 63 non-neoplastic seminal vesicles. We used 52 resection materials (12 seminal vesicles without prostatic adenocarcinoma, 26 seminal vesicles with prostatic adenocarcinoma infiltration, and 14 cases of seminal vesicles infiltrated by urothelial carcinoma) and 11 prostatic core needle biopsies with incidentally sampled fragment of seminal vesicles. In all cases, tissues from seminal vesicles were completely negative for NKX3.1, despite using polyclonal and monoclonal NKX3.1 antibodies, and regardless of the detection system utilized (diaminobenzidine (DAB) versus alkaline phosphatase (AF)). However, prostatic adenocarcinoma was negative in several cases (n = 6), when AF detection system was used. Reaction with DAB was strong and robust in all cases. Based on our data, we can recommend NKX3.1 as a negative immunohistochemical marker of seminal vesicles.

Abstract
Primary seminal vesicle adenocarcinoma is a rare malignancy of the male genito-urinary system with only a few confirmed reported cases. Initial tissue diagnostic modality is often a core biopsy specimen. Here, we report this rare entity in a 50-year-old male, highlighting the histomorphological and immunohistochemical approach to the core biopsy specimen of the seminal vesicle mass. The patient presented with a history of haematospermia and gross haematuria for one year, and radiological workup was found to have a right seminal vesicle mass. A trans-rectal ultrasound guided core biopsy revealed a tumourous lesion with a predominant papillary architecture and cytological features of neoplasia. Based on positivity for CK7, PAX-8 and CA-125, and Ki-67 index of 30%-40% and negativity for PSA, AMACR, CK20, CDX-2, p63, GATA3, WT1 and calretinin, a diagnosis of primary seminal vesicle adenocarcinoma was offered. The diagnosis was also confirmed on the surgically resected specimen. This case depicts the approach of a pathologist to diagnose this rare entity on the core biopsy specimen and the possible differential diagnoses one must consider.

Abstract
Background PAX8 was not only a mitotic factor, but identified as a transcription factor involved in the prognosis of human tumor patients. Elucidating the function of PAX8 on the pathology of stomach cancer was meaningful. Results PAX8 was found to be upregulated in primary stomach cancer tissue and the TCGA stomach cancer dataset. Interestingly, SOX13 and PAX8 showed consistent expression patterns, and the combined high PAX8 and SOX18 expression induced a worse prognosis of stomach cancer patients. SOX13 was further identified as a transcription factor of PAX8, and further affect Aurora B and Cyclin B1 expression, two cell cycle related factors of the downstream of PAX8, including. Furthermore, PAX8 depletion inducted G1-phase arrest and the decrease of EdU incorporation, cell viability and colony formation can be rescued by SOX13 overexpression. Conclusions SOX13 participated in the elevated expression of PAX8, which promote the proliferation of stomach cancer cells. Therefore, SOX13 mediated PAX8 expression was recognized as a tumor-promoting role in stomach cancer.

Abstract
PAX8 is identified as a regulator in the pathogenesis of human tumours and an indicator of the prognosis for patients. However, the role of PAX8 on proliferation in gastric cancer have not been studied. This study was aimed to explore the expression pattern of PAX8 in gastric cancer, and investigate the effect of PAX8 on the proliferation of gastric cancer cells. PAX8 and SOX13 were identified to be synchronously up-regulated in primary gastric cancer in human gastric cancer tissues and the gastric cancer datasets of TCGA, and gastric cancer patients of combined high PAX8 and SOX13 expression showed poor prognosis. Furthermore, SOX13 can mediate PAX8 and its targeted genes, Aurora B and Cyclin B1, expression in AGS and MGC803 cell lines. Flow cytometry and EdU incorporation assays showed that silencing PAX8 can block the cell cycle of gastric cancer cell in G1 phase and SOX13 expression can rescue the arrested proliferative process induced by PAX8 silenced in CCK8 and colony formation assays. Thus, combined SOX13 and PAX8 expression regulate the proliferation of gastric cancer cells, and both SOX13 and PAX8 play an oncogene function in gastric cancer.

Abstract
This review focuses on connexins and nexus or gap junctions in the genesis, progression, and therapy of carcinomas of the human urinary tract. Some decades ago, the idea was born that gap junctional intercellular communication might prevent both the onset and the progression of cancer. Later evidence indicated that, on the contrary, synthesis and the presence of connexins as a prerequisite for gap junctional intercellular communication might promote the occurrence of cancer and metastases. The research history of urinary bladder cancer is a good example of the development of scientific perception. So far, the role of gap junctional intercellular communication in carcinogenesis and cancer progression, as well as in therapeutical approaches, remains unclear.
