Abstract
With the excellent properties of POM in the field of proton conductivity, the preparation of POM-based proton-conductive materials has burst into life. Herein, an unprecedented Sb-templated all-inorganic trimer Na8H18.64[(SbW14O52)3(Sb2W6.12Ru5.88O18)]·85H2O (1), which is based on tetravacant Dawson-like [SbW14O52]17- blocks and exhibits a trefoil type with D3 symmetry, has been successfully designed and synthesized by the assembly of simple materials with a one-pot hydrothermal method under acidic conditions. Also, compound 1 is systematically characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, PXRD, ESI-MS, IR spectroscopy, UV-vis, elemental analysis, and TGA. Crystal structure data analysis demonstrates that compound 1 is constructed by a hexagonal prismatic heterometallic {Sb2W6.12Ru5.88O18} core and three equivalent {SbW14} units bridged through μ2-O atoms in periphery. Subsequently, further property experiments show that compound 1 exhibits high proton conductivity with a conductivity value (σ) of 3.07 × 10-2 S cm-1 at 75 °C and 80% relative humidity (RH). The activation energy of compound 1 evaluated by the Arrhenius plots is 0.22 eV, which indicates that the Grotthuss mechanism is dominant during the process of proton transfer.

Abstract
The synthesis of anisotropic redox-active polyoxometalates (POMs) that can switch between multiple states is critical for understanding the mechanism of assembly of structures with a high aspect ratio, as well as for their application in electronic devices. However, a synthetic methodology for the controlled growth of such clusters is lacking. Here we describe a strategy, using the heteroanion-directed assembly, to produce a family of 10 multi-layered, anisotropic POM cages templated by redox-active pyramidal heteroanions with the composition [W16Mo2O54(XO3)]n-, [W21Mo3O75/76(XO3)2]m-, and [W26Mo4O93(XO3)3]o- for the double, triple, and quadruple layered clusters, respectively. It was found that the introduction of reduced molybdate is essential for self-assembly and results in mixed-metal (W/Mo) and mixed-valence (WVI/MoV) POM cages, as confirmed by an array of analytical techniques. To probe the archetype in detail, a tetrabutyl ammonium (TBA) salt derivative of a fully oxidized two-layered cage is produced as a model structure to confirm that all the cages are a statistical mixture of isostructures with variable ratios of W/Mo. Finally, it was found that multilayered POM cages exhibit dipolar relaxations due to the presence of the mixed valence WVI/MoV metal centers, demonstrating their potential use for electronic materials.

Abstract
A novel complex based on the Dawson-like [H3BiW18O60]6−, i.e. (C2H9N2)2[{Cu(C10H8N2)(C2H8N2)}2(H3BiW18O60)]·5.5H2O or (enH)2[{Cu(2,2′-bipy)(en)}2(μ4-H3BiW18O60)]·5.5H2O, (1), where enH is protonated ethane-1,2-diamine, 2,2′-bipy is 2,2′-bipyridine and en is ethane-1,2-diamine, has been synthesized hydrothermally and characterized by elemental analysis, single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, IR spectroscopy, powder XRD, and thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis (TG–DTA). For (1), each [H3BiW18O60]6− anion acts as a tetradentate ligand connecting [Cu(2,2′-bipy)(en)]2+ fragments via two terminal and two bridging O atoms, forming a two-dimensional network structure. Along the a and c axes, polyoxometalate units are arranged in an AB…AB manner. The electrochemical behaviour of (1)–CPE (CPE is a carbon paste electrode) was investigated in 2 M H2SO4 solution by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The redox process of WVI/V takes place at E
1/2 = −0.58 (I–I′) and −0.37 V (II–II′), and at −0.04 V (III–III′) for CuII/0. The magnetic properties of (1) were investigated in the range 2–300 K and indicated the existence of strong antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between the Cu2+ centres.

Abstract
Self-assembly reactions of Na2WO4, SeO2/SeO32-, and [Mo2O2(μ-S)2(H2O)6]2+ give, depending on the pH value, two new large polyoxometalate complexes: i.e., [(γ-Se2W14O52)3(Mo2O2(μ-S)2(H2O)2)6]24- (1) isolated at pH 3.5 and [(γ-Se2W14O52)4(WO3(H2O))8(W2O5)2(W4O12)2(Mo2O2(μ-S)2(H2O)2)4(Mo2O2(μ-S)2(SeO3))4]36- (2) isolated at pH 2. Both compounds were characterized in the solid state by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, EDX, elemental analysis, TGA, and FT-IR and in solution by ESI-MS and NMR.
