Abstract
Flaviviruses are enveloped single positive-stranded RNA viruses. The capsid (C), a structural protein of flavivirus, is dimeric and alpha-helical, with several special structural and functional features. The functions of the C protein go far beyond a structural role in virions. It is not only responsible for encapsidation to protect the viral RNA but also able to interact with various host proteins to promote virus proliferation. Therefore, the C protein plays an important role in infected host cells and the viral life cycle. Flaviviruses have been shown to affect the health of humans and animals. Thus, there is an urgent need to effectively control flavivirus infections. The structure of the flavivirus virion has been determined, but there is relatively little information about the function of the C protein. Hence, a greater understanding of the role of the C protein in viral infections will help to discover novel antiviral strategies and provide a promising starting point for the further development of flavivirus vaccines or therapeutics.

Abstract
Single chain antibodies (scFvs), which contain only the variable domains of full-length antibodies, are relatively small molecules that can be used for selective drug delivery. In this review, we display how scFv antibodies help improve the specificity and efficiency of drugs. Small interfering RNA (siRNA) delivery using scFv-drug fusion peptides, siRNA delivery using scFv-conjugated nanoparticles, targeted delivery using scFv-viral peptide- fusion proteins, use of scFv in fusion with cell penetrating peptides for effective targeted drug delivery, scFv-mediated targeted delivery of inorganic nanoparticles, scFv-mediated increase of tumor killing activity of granulocytes, use of scFv for tumor imaging, site-directed conjugation of scFv molecules to drug carrier systems, use of scFv to relieve pain, use of scFv for increasing drug loading efficiency are among the topics that are discussed here.

Abstract
Lipopolymer 49, a solid-phase synthesized T-shaped peptide-like oligoamide containing two central oleic acids, 20 aminoethane, and two terminal cysteine units, is identified as very potent and biocompatible small interfering RNA (siRNA) carrier for gene silencing in glioma cells. This carrier is combined with a novel targeting polymer 727, containing a precise sequence of Angiopep 2 targeting peptide, linked with 28 monomer units of ethylene glycol, 40 aminoethane, and two terminal cysteines in siRNA complex formation. Angiopep-polyethylene glycol (PEG)/siRNA polyplexes exhibit good nanoparticle features, effective glioma-targeting siRNA delivery, and intracellular siRNA release, resulting in an outstanding gene downregulation both in glioma cells and upon intravenous delivery in glioma model nude mice without significant biotoxicity. Therefore, this novel siRNA delivery system is expected to be a promising strategy for targeted and safe glioma therapy.
