Abstract
Magnetic nanogels (MNGs) are highly attractive for biomedical applications because of their potential for remote control of the rheology and internal structure of these soft colloids with biocompatible magnetic fields. In this contribution, using molecular dynamics simulations, we investigate the impact of the cross-linker distribution in the body of a MNG on the shape and magnetic response to constant and AC magnetic fields and relate those properties to the behaviour of non-magnetic tracers placed in the MNGs and left to escape. We find that if no AC magnetic field is applied, although the escape times of the tracer particles barely depend on morphology, the highest degree of subdiffusion is observed for the gels with a non-uniform cross-linkerer distribution. We also find how the eigen frequency at which particles relax locally in the polymer matrix affects the dynamic magnetic response of the gel. We show that a magnetic field-induced wobbling can facilitate drug release from gels.

Abstract
We study the influence of core-shell morphology on the structural characteristics of nanogels. Using computer simulations, we examine three different types of systems, distinguished by their intermonomer interactions: those with excluded volume only; those with charged monomers and excluded volume; and those with excluded volume combined with a certain number of magnetised nanoparticles incorporated within the nanogel. We observe that if the polymers in the shell are short and dense, they tend to penetrate the core. This effect of backfolding is enhanced in charged nanogels, regardless of whether all monomers are charged, or only the core or shell ones. The presence of an experimentally available amount of magnetic nanoparticles in a gel, on the one hand, does not lead to any significant morphological changes. On the other hand, the morphology of the nanogel with magnetic particles has an impact on its magnetic susceptibility. Particular growth of the magnetic response is observed if a long shell of a nanogel is functionalised.

Abstract
In this study, multicore-like iron oxide (Fe3O4) and manganese ferrite (MnFe2O4) nanoparticles were synthesized and combined with nanogels based on chitosan and alginate to obtain a multimodal drug delivery system. The nanoparticles exhibited crystalline structures and displayed sizes of 20 ± 3 nm (Fe3O4) and 11 ± 2 nm (MnFe2O4). The Fe3O4 nanoparticles showed a higher saturation magnetization and heating efficiency compared with the MnFe2O4 nanoparticles. Functionalization with citrate and bovine serum albumin was found to improve the stability and modified surface properties. The nanoparticles were encapsulated in nanogels, and provided high drug encapsulation efficiencies (~70%) using doxorubicin as a model drug. The nanogels exhibited sustained drug release, with enhanced release under near-infrared (NIR) laser irradiation and acidic pH. The nanogels containing BSA-functionalized nanoparticles displayed improved sustained drug release at physiological pH, and the release kinetics followed a diffusion-controlled mechanism. These results demonstrate the potential of synthesized nanoparticles and nanogels for controlled drug delivery, offering opportunities for targeted and on-demand release in biomedical applications.

Abstract
The viscosity is a foundational parameter of biomacromolecule in the food industry. The viscosity of macroscopic colloids is closely related to the dynamical behaviors of mesoscopic biomacromolecule clusters, which are difficult to be investigated at molecular resolution by common methods. In this study, based on experimental data, multi-scale simulations combining microscopic molecular dynamics simulation, mesoscopic Brownian dynamics simulation, and macroscopic flow field construction were used to investigate the dynamical behaviors of mesoscopic clusters of konjac glucomannan (KGM) colloids (~500 nm) over a long time (~100 ms). Numerical statistical parameters of the mesoscopic simulation of macroscopic clusters were proposed and proved to represent the viscosity of colloids. Based on the intermolecular interaction and macromolecular conformation, the mechanism of the shear thinning effect was revealed as both the regular arrangement of macromolecules at low shear rates (<100 s-1) and structural collapse of macromolecules at high shear rates (>500 s-1). Then, the effect of molecular concentration, molecular weight, and temperature on the colloid viscosity and cluster structure of KGM colloids was investigated by experiments and simulations. This study provides a novel multi-scale numerical method and insight into the viscosity mechanism of biomacromolecule.

Abstract
A review of the latest theoretical advances in the description of magnetomechanical effects and phenomena observed in magnetoactive elastomers (MAEs), i.e., polymer networks filled with magnetic micro- and/or nanoparticles, under the action of external magnetic fields is presented. Theoretical modeling of magnetomechanical coupling is considered on various spatial scales: from the behavior of individual magnetic particles constrained in an elastic medium to the mechanical properties of an MAE sample as a whole. It is demonstrated how theoretical models enable qualitative and quantitative interpretation of experimental results. The limitations and challenges of current approaches are discussed and some information about the most promising lines of research in this area is provided. The review is aimed at specialists involved in the study of not only the magnetomechanical properties of MAEs, but also a wide range of other physical phenomena occurring in magnetic polymer composites in external magnetic fields.
