Abstract
In the present work the two new Cu(II) complexes, (µ-acetato)-bis(2,2'-bipyridine)-copper [Cu(bpy)2(CH3CO2)] and bromidotetrakis(2-methyl-1H-imidazole)-copper bromide [Cu(2-methylimid)4Br]Br have been synthesized by liquid assisted mechanochemical method. The [Cu(bpy)2(CH3CO2)] complex (1) and [Cu(2-methylimid)4Br]Br complex (2) characterised by IR and UV-visible spectroscopy and the structure are confirmed by XRD diffraction studies. Complex (1) crystallized in the Monoclinic with the space group of C2/c where a = 24.312(5) Å, b = 8.5892(18) Å, c = 14.559(3) Å, α = 90°, β = 106.177(7)° and γ = 90° and Complex (2) crystallized in the Tetragonal with the space group of P4nc, a = 9.9259(2) Å, b = 9.9259(2) Å, c = 10.9357(2) Å, α = 90°, β = 90° and γ = 90°. The complex (1) has distorted octahedral geometry where the acetate ligand showed bidentate bridging with the central metal ion and complex (2) has slightly deformed square pyramidal geometry. The HOMO-LUMO energy gap value and the low chemical potential showed that the complex (2) is stable and difficult to polarize compare to complex (1). The molecular docking study of complexes with the HIV instasome nucleoprotein showed the binding energy values - 7.1 and - 5.3 kcal/mol for complex (1) and complex (2) respectively. The negative binding energy values showed the complexes have affinity to bind with HIV instasome nucleoproteins. The in-silico pharmacokinetic study of the complex (1) and complex (2) showed non AMES toxicity, non-carcinogens and low honey Bee toxicity but weakly inhibit Human Ether-a-go-go-related gene.

Abstract
Liver cancer accounts for a major portion of the global cancer burden. In many nations, the prevalence of this condition has risen in recent decades. New series of thiazolidinones and thiadiazolidine have been designed, synthesized, and evaluated for potential antioxidant and antihepatocarcinogenic activity. The antioxidant activity was evaluated using a DPPH assay. Furthermore, we examined the compounds against Hepg-2 cells using MTT assay, flow cytometry analysis through the cell cycle, reactive oxygen species, and apoptosis. The result showed that compound 6b has the highest antioxidant activity with IC50 = 60.614 ± 0.739 µM. The anticancer activity showed that compounds 5 and 6b have significant toxicity against liver cancer cells Hepg2, IC50 values (9.082 and 4.712) µM, respectively. Flow cytometry experiments revealed that compound 5 arrested Hepg-2 cells in the S process, while compound 6b arrested Hepg-2 cells in the G1. Compound 6b had a greater reduction in reactive oxygen species and late apoptosis than compound 5. Substantially, compound 5 had affinity energies of -7.6 and -8.5 for Akt and CDK4 proteins, respectively, but compound 6b had affinity energies of -7.8 and -10.1 for Akt1 and CDK4 proteins, respectively. Consequently, compound 6b had lower binding energies than compound 5. In this work, we used multiple bioinformatics methods to shed light on the prospective therapeutic use of these series as novel candidates to target immune cells in the tumor microenvironment of hepatocellular carcinomas such as CD8+ T cells, endothelial cells, and hematopoietic stem cells.

Abstract
This study explains the vibration and interaction of three pharmaceutically active hydrazine derivatives, (E)-3-((2-(2,5-difluorophenyl)hydrazono)methyl)-4H-chromen-4-one (DFH), (E)-3-((2-(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)hydrazono)methyl)-4H-chromen-4-one (TMH), and (E)-3-((2-(3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)hydrazono)methyl)-4H-chromen-4-one (BPH) using theoretical approach. The trend in chemical reactivity and stability of the studied compounds was observed to show increasing stability and decreasing reactivity and this was obtained from orbital energies. The effect of bromine and chlorine atoms, instead of fluorine atoms, is also noted. Surface analysis on the covalent bond was attained by ELF and LOL analysis. Biological activities were predicted using molecular docking studies. Docking results were analyzed with standard drugs, 5-fluorouracil/piperine. Antitumor activity of hydrazine derivatives was found to be higher than reference ones. Molecular dynamics (MD) simulation was performed for 100 ns to validate the stability behavior of hydrazine derivatives with the dual specificity threonine tyrosine kinase (TTK) protein. RMSD, RMSF, Rg, SASA, and intermolecular analysis of DFH, TMH, and BPH with threonine tyrosine kinase forms stable ligand-protein interactions. The molecular and predictive biological properties of three pharmaceutically active hydrazine derivatives which can be helpful to researchers in future experimental validation through in vitro and in vivo studies.

Abstract
AbstractTheoretical investigations of three pharmaceutically active chromone derivatives, (E)-3-((2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl)hydrazono)methyl)-4H-chromen-4-one (TPC), (E)-3-((2-(2,4,6-trifluorophenyl)hydrazono)methyl)-4H-chromen-4-one (FHM) and(E)-3-((2-(perfluorophenyl)hydrazono)methyl)-4H-chromen-4-one (PFH) are reported. Molecular geometries, vibrational spectra, electronic properties and molecular electrostatic potential were investigated using density functional theory. Quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) study shows that the maximum of ellipticity parameters in the existing bonds in TPC, FHM and PFH, attributes to the bonds involving in aromatic region points toward the π-bond interactions in the molecules. Based on energy gap (1.870, 1.649 and 1.590 eV) and electrophilicity index (20.233, 22.581 and 23.203 eV) values of TPC, FHM and PFH, we can conclude that all molecules have more biological activity. The molecular electrostatic potential maps were calculated to provide information on the chemical reactivity of the molecule and also to describe the intermolecular interactions. All these studies including docking studies, help a lot in determining the biological activities of chromone derivatives. Activities of chromone derivatives are compared with 5-fluorouracil and azathioprine (antitumor, antiproliferative standards) and were found to be higher than reference ones.

Abstract
A novel Fe(III) Schiff base complex of the [FeL2(NO3)2]NO3 type where L = 2-((pyridin-4-yl)methyleneamino)-3-aminomaleonitrile was synthesized using the reflux and sonochemical methods and their antibacterial and antifungal activity were evaluated. The nanoparticles of iron oxide (Fe2O3) were obtained from the iron nano-structure complex as a precursor after calcination at 600 ˚C for 3 h. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by various spectroscopic techniques. The results of SEM showed that the morphology of iron nano-structure complex was rod-like while the morphology of the Fe2O3 nano powder was spherical. The results of the biological studies indicated that the iron nano-structure complex showed a stronger antibacterial and antifungal efficiency than its bulk complex. Finally, the empirical geometrical parameters of complexes revealed a good agreement with calculated ones at DFT-B3LYP level.

Abstract
New coordination compounds based on zinc thiocyanate, namely (acetone thiosemicarbazone-κ2N1,S)bis(isothiocyanato-κN)zinc(II) monohydrate, [Zn(NCS)2(C4H9N3S)]·H2O, (I), and diaquatetrakis(urea-κO)zinc(II) tetrakis(isothiocyanato-κN)zinc(II), [Zn(CH4N2O)4(H2O)2][Zn(NCS)4], (II), were synthesized and studied by UV-Vis, fluorescence and IR spectroscopy. Coordination salt (II) forms a rare system composed of two different coordination units of the same metal and it is the first example of a compound with two completely different zinc coordination units, of which one contains a tetrakis(urea)zinc unit. Both (I) and (II) possess fluorescence properties and produce blue and green emissions, respectively, upon irradiation with violet light. The spectral properties were correlated with the observed molecular and supramolecular structures. The acetone thiosemicarbazone ligand of (I) exhibits (upon coordination) red shifts of bands corresponding to N=C and C=S stretching vibration frequencies, which is not typical for chelating molecules.

Abstract
Detailed studies of the structure-property relationships for conductive polymers are important for the proper understanding of the impact of morphological details on chemical and physical properties. This understanding is necessary for the development of realistic theoretical models. The particular cases of thienyl pyrroles are described. Ab initio methods based on Hartree-Fock (HF) and Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations with the basis set of 6-31G(d) are performed to determine the molecular structural properties and to calculate FT-IR and NMR spectrum of the title molecule. Moreover, assignments of the vibrational modes are made on the basis of potential energy distribution (PED). Furthermore, the correlations between the observed and calculated frequencies are found to be in good agreement with each other as well as the correlation of the NMR data. A comparison of the experimental and theoretical calculations can be very useful in making correct assignment and understanding the properties and molecular structure relations.

Abstract
A new series of thiosemicarbazones (TSCs) and their 1,3,4-thiadiazolines (TDZs) containing acetamide group have been synthesized from thiosemicarbazide compounds by the reaction of TSCs with cyclic ketones as well as aromatic aldehydes. The structures of newly synthesized 1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives obtained by heterocyclization of the TSCs with acetic anhydride were experimentally characterized by spectral methods using IR, (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR and mass spectroscopic methods. Furthermore, the structural, thermodynamic, and electronic properties of the studied compounds were also studied theoretically by performing Density Functional Theory (DFT) to access reliable results to the experimental values. The molecular geometry, the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO), the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) and Mulliken atomic charges of the studied compounds have been calculated at the B3LYP method and standard 6-31+G(d,p) basis set starting from optimized geometry. The theoretical (13)C chemical shift results were also calculated using the gauge independent atomic orbital (GIAO) approach and their respective linear correlations were obtained.

Abstract
O,O'-dibornyl dithiophosphete has been synthesized by the reaction of P2S5 and borneol in toluene. Fourier Transform Infrared spectra (FT-IR) of the title compound are measured. The molecular geometry, vibrational frequencies, infrared intensities and NMR spectrum of the title compound in the ground state have been calculated by using the density functional theory (DFT) and ab initio Hartree-Fock (HF) methods with the basis set of 6-31G(d). The computed bond lengths and bond angles show the good agreement with the experimental data. Moreover, the vibrational frequencies are calculated and the scaled values have been compared with experimental FT-IR spectra. Assignments of the vibrational modes are made on the basis of total energy distribution (TED) calculated with scaled quantum mechanical (SQM) method. The observed and calculated FT-IR and NMR spectra are in good agreement with each other.

Abstract
The compound 2 has been synthesized from the reaction of 2,4-Bis(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,2,4-dithiadiphosphetane-2,4-disulfide and (R)-1-[3,5-Bis(trifloromethyl)phenyl]ethanol in toluene. The obtained crude dithiophosphonic acid 1 has been treated with the excess of N(C2H5)3 to give rise to 2, [(+HN(C2H5)3][O-CH3CH-C6H3(CF3)2)(CH3OC6H4)PS2(-)]. The compound 2 has been characterized by using the spectroscopic methods such as IR, (1)H, (13)C, (31)P NMR and structural analysing method such as X-ray crystallography. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, whose space group is P212121. It consists of a dithiophosphonate bridged methoxyphenyl and bis(triflorophenylethyl) groups and a triethylammonium moiety linked by N-H⋯S and C-H⋯F hydrogen bonds. In the crystal structure, the C17H14F6O2PS2 molecule is elongated along the b-axis and stacked along the a-axis. The triethylammonium, N(CH2CH3)3, molecule fill in the cavities between the C17H14F6O2PS2 molecule. Moreover, ab initio methods based on Hartree-Fock (HF) and Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations with the basis set of 6-31G(d) are also carried out to determine the molecular structural properties and to calculate FT-IR and NMR spectrum of the compound 2. The experimental results and theoretical calculations have been compared, and they are found to be in good agreement.

Abstract
The spectroscopic analysis of a newly synthesized 1,9-bis(2-cyano-2-ethoxycarbonylvinyl)-5-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-dipyrromethane (3) has been carried out using (1)H NMR, UV-Visible, FT-IR and Mass spectroscopic techniques. All the quantum chemical calculations have been carried out using DFT level of theory, B3LYP functional and 6-31G(d,p) as basis set. Thermodynamic parameters (H, G, S) of all the reactants and products have been used to determine the nature of the chemical reaction. The chemical shift of pyrrolic NH in (1)H NMR spectrum appears at 9.4 ppm due to intramolecular hydrogen bonding. TD-DFT calculation shows the nature of electronic transitions as π→π(*) within the molecule. A combined experimental and theoretical vibrational analysis designates the existence of H-bonding between pyrrole N-H as proton donor and nitrogen of cyanide as proton acceptor, therefore, lowering in stretching vibration of NH and CN. To investigate the strength and nature of H-bonding, topological parameters at bond critical points (BCPs) are analyzed by 'Quantum theory of Atoms in molecules' (QTAIMs). Natural bond orbitals (NBOs) analysis has been carried out to investigate the intramolecular conjugative and hyperconjugative interactions within molecule and their second order stabilization energy (E((2))). Global electrophilicity index (ω=4.528 eV) shows that title molecule (3) is a strong electrophile. The maximum values of local electrophilic reactivity descriptors (fk(+),sk(+),ωk(+)) at vinyl carbon (C6/C22) of (3) indicate that these sites are more prone to nucleophilic attacks.

Abstract
In the present work, ethyl-4-[2-(thiocarbamoyl)hydrazinylidene]-3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate (3) has been synthesized and characterized by (1)H NMR, UV-Vis, FT-IR and Mass spectroscopy. The formation of the compound and its properties have also been evaluated by quantum chemical calculations using DFT, B3LYP functional and 6-31G(d,p) as basis set. The calculated thermodynamic parameters show that the formation of 3 is an exothermic and spontaneous reaction at room temperature. (1)H NMR chemical shifts are calculated using gauge including atomic orbitals (GIAO) approach in DMSO-d6 as solvent. Time dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) is used to calculate the energy (E), oscillator strength (f) and wavelength absorption maxima (λ(max)) of various electronic transitions and their nature within the molecule. NBO analysis is carried out to investigate the charge transfer or charge delocalization in various intra- and intermolecular interactions of molecular system. The vibrational analysis indicates the formation of dimer in the solid state by intermolecular heteronuclear hydrogen bonding (NH···O). Topological parameters at bond critical points (BCP) are calculated to analyze the strength and nature of various types of intra and intermolecular interactions in dimer by Bader's 'Atoms in molecules' AIM theory in detail. The binding energy of intermolecular multiple interactions is calculated to be 15.54 kcal/mol, using AIM calculation. The local reactivity descriptors such as Fukui functions (f(k)(+),f(k)(-)), local softnesses (s(k)(+),s(k)(-)) and electrophilicity indices (ω(k)(+),ω(k)(-)) analyses are performed to determine the reactive sites within molecule.
