Abstract
The corrosion inhibition performance of Hexa (3-methoxy propan-1,2 diol) cyclotriphosphazene (HMC) on carbon steel in 3% NaCl solution was investigated by weight loss (WL), potentiodynamic polarization (PDP), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements, Density functional theory (DFT) and Monte Carlo (MC) simulation. The corrosion inhibition efficiency at optimum concentration (10-3M) is 99% of HMC at 298 K. The corrosion inhibition efficiency at 10-3 M decreases with increase in temperature. The adsorption of HMC on the surface of carbon steel obeyed Langmuir isotherm. Potentiodynamic polarization study confirmed that inhibitor anodic-type. DFT and Monte Carlo (MC) simulations based computational approaches were under taken to support the experimental findings. DFT studies revealed that HMC interact with metallic surface through donor-acceptor interactions in which the anionic parts act as electron donor (HOMO) and cationic parts behaved as electron acceptor (LUMO). The MC simulations study showed that studied HMC adsorb spontaneously on Fe (110) surface.

Abstract
The title compound, C17H14Cl4N5OP3, is a spiro-phosphazene derivative with bulky naphthalene and pyridine rings. The phosphazene and the six-membered N/O rings are in flattened-boat and twisted-boat conformations, respectively. The naphthalene ring system and the pyridine ring are oriented at a dihedral angle of 18.06 (8)°. In the crystal, weak π-π stacking between the pyridine rings and between the pyridine rings and the naphthalene ring system [centroid-centroid distances = 3.594 (2) and 3.961 (2) Å, respectively] occur. Weak C-H⋯π inter-actions are also observed. These interactions link the molecules into a three-dimensional supramolecular network.

Abstract
This study dealt with the reactions of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazatriene, N(3)P(3)Cl(6) (trimer) (1) with phenolphthalein (2) to give the phenolphthalein bridged compounds 3, 4 and 5. The phenolphthalein bridged cyclotriphosphazatriene derivatives are reported for the first time. The new compounds (3-5) are characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, UV-vis, FT-IR, (1)H, (31)P NMR and fluorescence spectroscopy. The more bridged phenolphthalein groups show the higher intensity of the absorption bands in the UV-vis spectra. Fluorescence spectrum of compound 3 shows a small band in the lower spectral range, while the spectra of compounds 4 and 5 show more intense and a band in higher spectral range.

Abstract
In the title compound, C4H6F4O2, a partially fluorinated aliphatic diol, cooperative O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds form R22(14) rings, which are connected into infinite layers parallel to the (100) plane by C(7) chains. A C—H⋯F link is also seen.

Abstract
Nucleophilic substitution reactions of cyclotriphosphazene derivatives having five-membered spiro rings, N(3)P(3)Cl(4)[O(CH(2))(2)X] (X = NH or O) with alkoxides (of tetraethylene glycol and some mono-functional alcohols) give unexpected rearrangements to form stable seven-membered ring ansa compounds, even though crystallographic evidence shows ring distortion and compression of the cyclophosphazene ring. With weaker nucleophiles such as sodium phenoxide and pyrrolidine substitution at a PCl2 group is preferred and no rearrangement takes place. In contrast, reactions of the analogous phosphazenes containing six-membered spiro rings, N(3)P(3)Cl(4)[O(CH(2))(3)X], with all of the above reagents give only normal substitution reactions at the PCl2 moieties and no rearrangement products. The spiro to ansa rearrangements in cyclophosphazenes are remarkable as the reported primary reaction products with the same difunctional reagents HO(CH(2))(2)XH are predominantly spiro, with some dangling and bridging derivatives, but no ansa compounds.
