Abstract
A probe 3 (2-ethoxy-N-(2-(2-(2-hydroxyethoxy)ethyl)-1,3-dioxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzo[de] isoquinolin-6-yl)benzamide) that could selectively respond to Cr2O72- and Fe3+ was reported in this paper. The selectivity, pH titration, concentration titration, detection limit, time dependence, quenching constant and recognition mechanism of probe 3 for Cr2O72- and Fe3+ were studied in CH3CN/HEPES buffer solution. The results showed that Cr2O72- and Fe3+ could rapidly quench the fluorescence of probe 3 through the inner filter effect (IFE). The quenching kept constant after 30 s, and the quenching constants were 7.99 × 103 L.mol-1 and 4.13 × 103 L.mol-1, respectively. The detection limits of probe 3 for Cr2O72- and Fe3+ were 1.15 μmol.L-1 and 1.95 μmol.L-1, respectively, which were lower than the maximum allowable concentrations in drinking water stipulated by EPA. The determination results of Cr2O72- and Fe3+ in water samples indicated that probe 3 could be used as a potential detection tool in practical applications.

Luminescence and Preventive Effect of Two New Cd(II) Compounds on Scar Formation after Cosmetic Surgery. J CHEM-NY 2022. Abstract
Two coordination polymers involving Cd(II), i.e., [Cd2(IDPA)2(bpe) (H2O)2]n·2n(H2O) (1) (H2IDPA is 5-(1-oxoisoindolin-2-yl)isophthalic acid, bpe is 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane, 4-bpmh is N, N-bis-pyridin-4-ylmethylene-hydrazine), and [Cd(IDPA)(4-bpmh)0.5(H2O)2]n·n(H2O) (2) are prepared under solvothermal conditions via tuning the auxiliary ligand from bpe to 4-bpmh. Moreover, the as-prepared complexes 1–2 reveal much stronger luminescence in contrast to that of the free organic ligands. Their preventive effect and mechanism on scar formation after cosmetic surgery was explored. First, the two complexes’ suppression of the viability of the human immortal keratinocyte line (HaCaT) cell line was examined via exploiting cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) detection. The vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) signal pathway activation in HaCaT cells was detected by real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay.

Abstract
Reported here is a new [Cu4I4] cluster-based coordination polymer, namely [Cu4I4(bib)2]n·n(DMF) (1, bib = 1,4-bis(imidazolyl)butane, DMF = N,N'-dimethylformamide), which was synthesized by the self-assemble reaction of CuI, bib and KI under solvothermal conditions. Remarkably, compound 1 shows promising photocatalytic performance toward to the degradation of MB solution under visible light irradiation. For the COPD treatment, the ELISA detection kit was conducted to determine the content of INF-γ released by the respiratory tract mucosal epithelial cells. In addition to this, the activation levels of the NF-κB signaling pathway were still need to be assessed by the real time RT-PCR after the compound treatment.

Abstract
SBA-Pr-Is-TAP was synthesized via functionalization of SBA-15. The synthesized hybrid nanomaterial was characterized by various techniques including FT-IR, TGA, XRD, SEM, and BET. SBA-Pr-Is-TAP could precisely bind Fe3+ and Cr2O72- ions among a range of different species in aqueous media, consequently acting as a nanoporous chemosensor of Fe3+ and Cr2O72- ions. An excellent linear relation was observed between the nanoporous chemosensor and ion concentrations, with acceptable detection limits of 2.43 × 10-6 M and 3.96 × 10-7 M for Fe3+ and Cr2O72- ions respectively.
