Abstract
Smart cities and digital public health are closely related. Managing digital transformation in urbanization and living spaces is challenging. It is critical to prioritize the emotional and physical health and well-being of humans and their animals in the dynamic and ever-changing environment they share. Human-animal bonds are continuous as they live together or share urban spaces and have a mutual impact on each other's health as well as the surrounding environment. In addition, sensors embedded in the Internet of Things are everywhere in smart cities. They monitor events and provide appropriate responses. In this regard, accident and emergency informatics (A&EI) offers tools to identify and manage overtime hazards and disruptive events. Such manifold focuses fit with One Digital Health (ODH), which aims to transform health ecosystems with digital technology by proposing a comprehensive framework to manage data and support health-oriented policies. We showed and discussed how, by developing the concept of ODH intervention, the ODH framework can support the comprehensive monitoring and analysis of daily life events of humans and animals in technologically integrated environments such as smart homes and smart cities. We developed an ODH intervention use case in which A&EI mechanisms run in the background. The ODH framework structures the related data collection and analysis to enhance the understanding of human, animal, and environment interactions and associated outcomes. The use case looks at the daily journey of Tracy, a healthy woman aged 27 years, and her dog Mego. Using medical Internet of Things, their activities are continuously monitored and analyzed to prevent or manage any kind of health-related abnormality. We reported and commented on an ODH intervention as an example of a real-life ODH implementation. We gave the reader examples of a "how-to" analysis of Tracy and Mego's daily life activities as part of a timely implementation of the ODH framework. For each activity, relationships to the ODH dimensions were scored, and relevant technical fields were evaluated in light of the Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable principles. This "how-to" can be used as a template for further analyses. An ODH intervention is based on Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable data and real-time processing for global health monitoring, emergency management, and research. The data should be collected and analyzed continuously in a spatial-temporal domain to detect changes in behavior, trends, and emergencies. The information periodically gathered should serve human, animal, and environmental health interventions by providing professionals and caregivers with inputs and "how-to's" to improve health, welfare, and risk prevention at the individual and population levels. Thus, ODH complementarily combined with A&EI is meant to enhance policies and systems and modernize emergency management.

Abstract
Purpose To validate the hepatitis B virus infection-related stigma scale (HBVISS) using Classical Test Theory and Item Response Theory in a sample of Chinese chronic HBV carriers. Methods Feasibility, internal consistency reliability, split-half reliability and construct validity were evaluated using a cross-sectional validation study (n = 1,058) in Classical Test Theory. Content validity was assessed by COnsensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement INstruments (COSMIN) criteria. The Item Response Theory (IRT) model parameters were estimated using Samejima's graded response model, after which item response category characteristic curves were drawn. Item information, test information, and IRT-based marginal reliability were calculated. Measurement invariance was assessed using differential item functioning (DIF). SPSS and R software were used for the analysis. Results The response rate reached 96.4% and the scale was completed in an average time of 5 min. Content validity of HBVISS was sufficient (+) and the quality of the evidence was high according to COSMIN criteria. Confirmatory factor analysis showed acceptable goodness-of-fit (χ 2/df = 5.40, standardized root mean square residual = 0.057, root mean square error of approximation = 0.064, goodness-of-fit index = 0.902, comparative fit index = 0.925, incremental fit index = 0.926, and Tucker-Lewis index = 0.912). Cronbach's α fell in the range of 0.79-0.89 for each dimension and 0.93 for the total scale. Split-half reliability was 0.96. IRT discrimination parameters were estimated to range between 0.959 and 2.333, and the threshold parameters were in the range-3.767 to 3.894. The average score for test information was 12.75 (information >10) when the theta level reached between-4 and + 4. The IRT-based marginal reliability was 0.95 for the total scale and fell in the range of 0.83-0.91 for each dimension. No measurement invariance was detected (d-R 2 < 0.02). Conclusion HBVISS exhibited good feasibility, reliability, validity, and item quality, making it suitable for assessing chronic Hepatitis B virus infection-related stigma.

Abstract
In this article, the gerontological factors affecting the successful aging of the elderly have been uncovered, the quality of life and successful aging issues have been related to gerontology and investigated on a different dimension. It has been emphasized that the importance of gerontechnology on the successful aging, creation of awareness through formal and non-formal education, qualitative and quantitative researches should be increased. Qualitative and quantitative researches on the subject were evaluated together, gerontology and gerontechnology were considered together with successful aging, and gerontology functions and ergonomics should be taken into consideration in increasing quality of life. In addition, the concept of geronsafety, a new concept in gerontology, has been put forward, emphasizing the effects of safety on gerontology and successful aging.

Abstract
Quality of life (QOL), although a complex and amorphous concept, is a term that warrants attention, especially in discussions on issues that touch on the impacts of climate change and variability. Based on the principles of RepOrting standards for Systematic Evidence Synthesis, we present a systematic review aimed at gaining insights into the conceptualization and methodological construct of previous studies regarding QOL and QOL-related indexes. We find that (i) QOL assessments vary in terms of conceptual foundations, dimensions, indicators, and units of analysis, (ii) social indicators are consistently used across assessments, (iii) most assessments consider indicators that pertain to the livability of the environment, and (iv) QOL can be based on objective indicators and/or subjective well-being, and on a composite index or unaggregated dimensions and indicators. However, we also find that QOL assessments remain poorly connected with climate-related issues, an important research gap. Our proposed "QOL-Climate" assessment framework, designed to capture the social-ecological impacts of climate change and variability, can potentially help fill this gap.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Health-related quality of life (HRQoL) is an important endpoint of many healthcare interventions. This study develops guidance on how to select appropriate HRQoL measures for inclusion in a clinical trial, given the purposes of the HRQoL measurement. METHODS The guidance is based on a systematic literature review, discussions with members of the European Network for Health Technology Assessment (EUnetHTA) and two rounds of public consultation. RESULTS A set of twelve recommendations was developed, addressing the requirements for HRQoL data for relative effectiveness assessment, for cost-utility analyses and for informing clinical decision making. Recommendations relate to the choice of the type of measure as well as to aspects such as measurement frequency, target population and presentation. CONCLUSIONS The purpose and context of HRQoL measurement is crucial for the relevance of the data obtained with a specific HRQoL measure. It is recommended to always include a generic HRQoL instrument in clinical trials to cover a wide range of possible future uses of the HRQoL data.

Abstract
AIMS Quality of life is an important outcome measure in studies of urinary incontinence. Electronic collection of data has several advantages. We examined the reliability of the Swedish version of the highly recommended condition-specific quality of life questionnaire International Consultation on Incontinence Modular Questionnaire-Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms Quality of Life (ICIQ-LUTSqol), in paper and web-based formats in women with stress urinary incontinence. METHODS Women aged 18-70 years, with stress urinary incontinence at least once weekly, were recruited via the project's website and answered the ICIQ-LUTSqol questionnaire. Respondents completed either the paper version twice (n = 78), or paper and web-based versions once each (n = 54). The ICIQ validation protocol was followed. RESULTS The mean interval between answers was 18.1 (SD = 3.1) days in the paper versus paper setting and 15.0 (SD = 7.8) days in the paper versus web-based setting. Internal consistency was excellent, with Cronbach's alpha coefficients of 0.87 for the paper version and 0.86 for the web-based version. There was a high degree of agreement of overall scores with intraclass correlations in the paper versus paper and paper versus web-based settings: 0.95 (P < 0.001) and 0.92 (P < 0.001), respectively. The mean of each individual item's weighted kappa value was 0.61 in both settings. CONCLUSIONS The questionnaire is reliable in women with stress urinary incontinence, and it can be used in either a paper or a web-based version.
