Abstract
Ratiometric fluorescence detection is endowed with higher accuracy than single fluorescence signal assay. In this work, we construct a ratiometric fluorescence probe for the facile quantification of sulfadimethoxine (SDM) in foods. By wrapping N-doped carbon dots (N-CDs) and gold nanoclusters (AuNCs) into zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8), the nanocomposite of N-CDs/AuNCs@ZIF-8 is facilely prepared and emits two fluorescence including 475 nm from N-CDs and 650 nm from AuNCs. Since bovine serum albumin (BSA) is the stabilizer of AuNCs, SDM can form a complex with BSA, resulting in the fluorescence quenching of AuNCs at 650 nm by a static quenching mechanism. In contrast, SDM has a rare influence on the fluorescence of N-CDs (475 nm). As a result, the use of the probe of N-CDs/AuNCs@ZIF-8 for SDM detection enables simultaneous measurement of response signal and reference signal. Under the optimal condition, the SDM assay based on the probe has a good linear relationship within 10 to 2 × 106 ng/mL and the limit of detection (LOD) is low to 1.064 ng/mL. In addition, the fluorescent probe shows good reliability for the detection of SDM in practical food samples.

Abstract
Veterinary drugs used in animal husbandry raise public health concerns due to their residues in the bodies of animals. This study employs a simple and quick sample preparation technique, in-tube solid phase extraction, to extract drug residues from foodstuffs, including eggs, honey, and water. This technique utilizes the synergy of graphitic-based materials and polyurethane sponges (PU) combined through dip coating method to make reusable sorbents for extracting drugs, including amoxicillin, paracetamol, ciprofloxacin, and cefixime. These prepared sorbents were characterized using FTIR, SEM, and XRD. HPLC analysis assessed the extraction efficiency, considering various parameters such as analyte concentration, sample solution pH, extraction time, type of eluting solvent, and graphitic-based polyurethane sponge reusability and stability. The proposed method exhibited a linear response for all three sorbents in the range of 0.03-1000 µg mL-1, with LOD 0.03-1.60 µg mL-1 and LOQ 0.18-4.84 µg mL-1. The % RSD ranged from 1.3 to 9.3 %, with recoveries of up to 98.42 %.

Abstract
The highly conjugated and hydrophobic characteristics of microporous organic networks (MONs) have largely impeded their broad applications in sample pretreatment especially for the polar or ionic analytes. In this work, a novel uniform hollow shaped sulfonate group functionalized MON (H-MON-SO3H-2) was synthesized via the sacrificial template method for the efficient solid phase extraction (SPE) of sulfonamides (SAs) from environmental water, milk, and honey samples prior to HPLC analysis. H-MON-SO3H-2 exhibited large specific surface area, penetrable space, good stability, and numerous hydrogen bonding, electrostatic, hydrophobic and π-π interaction sites, allowing sensitive SPE of SAs with wide linear range (0.150-1000 μg L-1), low limit of detection (0.045-0.188 μg L-1), good precisions (intra-day and inter-day RSD < 7.3%, n = 5), large enrichment factors (95.7-98.5), high adsorption capacities (250.4-545.0 mg g-1), and satisfactory reusability (more than 80 times). Moreover, the established method was successfully applied to extract SAs from spiked samples with the recoveries of 86.1-104.3%. This work demonstrated the great potential of H-MON-SO3H-2 in the efficient SPE of trace SAs in complex environmental water and food samples and revealed the prospect of hollow MONs in sample pretreatment.

Abstract
MIL-88B(Fe)/cellulose microspheres (MIL-88B(Fe)/CMs) were characterized by the means of SEM, XRD, TGA and N2 adsorption-desorption test. The composite was used as the sorbent for fully automated dispersive pipette extraction (DPX), after introducing CMs as the support, the loss of MIL-88B(Fe) in DPX was avoided. Coupled to UPLC-MS/MS, the proposed method was employed for the analysis of trace sulfonamides (SAs) in milk samples. The parameters affecting the extraction efficiency, including pH of sample solution, the rate of aspiration and dispense, amount of the adsorbent, type and volume of elution solvent were optimized. Under the optimal conditions, good linearity (r ≥ 0.9978 for five analytes), high sensitivity (limit of detection: 0.00660-0.0136 μg kg-1) and satisfactory recovery (69.8%-100.9%) were achieved. Furthermore, the sorbent showed desirable reusability over eight extraction cycles. Compared with other methods for the pretreatment of SAs, the proposed method showed advantages of high sensitivity, less sorbent consumption, environmental friendliness and automation, providing a promising protocol for sample preparation.

Abstract
The present study reported the synthesis and utilization of a graphene-based hybrid nanocomposite (MnFe2O4/G) to mitigate several synthetic dyes, including methylene blue, malachite green, crystal violet, and Rhodamine B. This adsorbent was structurally analyzed by several physicochemical techniques such as X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, N2 adsorption-desorption isotherm measurement, point of zero charge, and Boehm titrations. BET surface area of MnFe2O4/G was measured at 382.98 m2/g, which was substantially higher than that of MnFe2O4. MnFe2O4/G possessed diverse surface chemistry properties with the presence of many functional groups such as carboxylic acid, phenolic, lactone, and basic groups. MnFe2O4/G was used to remove synthetic dyes in the aqueous media. The effect of many factors, e.g., concentration (5-50 mg/L), pH (4-10), dose (5-20 mg), and temperature (25-45 °C) on adsorption performance of MnFe2O4/G was conducted. Kinetic, isotherm, intraparticle, and thermodynamic models were adopted for investigating adsorption phenomenon of dyes on MnFe2O4/G. The maximum adsorption capacity of dyes over MnFe2O4/G was found as Rhodamine B (67.8 mg/g) < crystal violet (81.3 mg/g) < methylene blue (137.7 mg/g) < malachite green (394.5 mg/g). Some tests were performed to remove mixed dyes, and mixed dyes in the presence of antibiotics with total efficiencies of 65.8-87.9% after 120 min. Moreover, the major role of π-π stacking interaction was clarified to gain insight into the adsorption mechanism. MnFe2O4/G could recycle up to 4 cycles, which may be beneficial for further practical water treatment.

Synthesis of the Magnetically Nanoporous Organic Polymer Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2-COP and Its Application in the Determination of Sulfonamide Residues in Surface Water Surrounding a Cattle Farm. Bioinorg Chem Appl 2022; 2022:6453609. Abstract
Efficient extractions of trace antibiotic residues in the environment are a key factor for accurate quantification of the residues. A new nanoporous material, namely, magnetically covalent organic polymer (MCOP, Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2-COP) was synthesized in this work and was used for magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE). The combination of MSPE with high-performance liquid chromatography separation together with ultraviolet detection (HPLC-UV) was established as an effective method for the determination of four sulfonamide (SA) residues in surface water surrounding a cattle farm. The synthesized magnetic material was characterized by SEM, TEM, FT-IR, magnetic properties measurement system (MPMS), and nitrogen gas porosimetry. The material possessed many attractive features, such as a unique microporous structure, a larger specific surface area (137.93 m2·g−1) than bare Fe3O4 (24.84 m2·g−1), high saturation magnetization (50.5 emu·g−1), open adsorption sites, and high stability. The influencing parameters, including pH, the used amount of MCOPs, the type of eluent, adsorption solution, and desorption time, were optimized. Under the optimized conditions, the method conferred good linearity ranges (R2 ≥ 0.9990), low detection limits (S/N = 3, LOD, 0.10–0.25 μg·L−1), and satisfactory recoveries (79.7% to 92.2%). The enrichment factor (EF) for the four SAs was 34.13–38.86. The relative standard deviations of intraday (n = 5) and of interday (n = 3) were less than 4.8% and 8.9%, respectively. The equilibria between extraction and desorption for SAs could be reached within 150 s. The proposed method was sensitive and convenient for detecting SA residues in complex environmental matrices, and the successful application of the new MCOPs as an adsorbent was demonstrated.

Abstract
In this work, new electrochemical sensors based on the modification of glassy carbon electrode (GCE) with multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs)-rare metal oxides (REMO) nanocomposites were fabricated by drop-to-drop method of MWCNTs-REMO dispersion in ethanol. REMO nanoparticles were synthesized by precipitation followed by hydrothermal treatment at 180 °C in absence and presence of TritonTM X-100 surfactant. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) analysis using MWCNTs-CeO2@GCE and MWCNTs-Yb2O3@GCE sensors were used for the analysis of sulfisoxazole (SFX) drug in water samples. The results of CV analysis showed that MWCNTs-REMO@GCE sensors have up to 40-fold higher sensitivity with CeO2 compared to the bare GCE sensor. The estimated values of the limit of detection (LoD) of this electrochemical sensing using MWCNTs-CeO2@GCE and MWCNTs-Yb2O3@GCE electrodes reached 0.4 and 0.7 μM SFX in phosphate buffer pH = 7, respectively. These findings indicate that MWCNTs-REMO@GCE electrodes are potential sensors for analysis of sulfonamide drugs in water and biological samples.

Abstract
The emergent occurrence of sulfonamide species involving sulfadiazine (SDZ) and sulfamethazine (SMZ) in aquatic systems can cause a wide range of potential risks; hence, remediation strategies need to be necessary. Here, we develop the novel metal-organic framework-derived nanocomposite, and apply for the adsorption of SDZ and SMZ antibiotics. To assess the best-fitting kinetic (pseudo first-order, pseudo second-order) and isotherm (Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, Dubinin-Radushkevich, Redlich-Peterson, Sips, Toth, and Khan) models, a series of numerous statistical analysis was performed. Numerous error functions including squares of the errors (SSE), hybrid fractional error function (HYBRID), Marquardt's percent standard deviation (MPSD), and mean relative error (MRE) were also analyzed to assess the linear and nonlinear models. The results indicated that both linear and nonlinear kinetic models were mostly fitted well with pseudo second-order models (Radj)2 > 0.97. Although linear kinetics gave better (Radj)2, error functions (MRE, SSE, HYBRID, and MPSD) were mostly higher than those of nonlinear kinetics. For adsorption isotherm, nonlinear Redlich-Peterson was the most compatible model with extremely high adjusted coefficients of determination (Radj)2 ~ 1.0000. While nonlinear Langmuir model gave relatively high (Radj)2 (0.9898-0.9960) and acceptable error functions, we found the considerable difference of error functions and parameters among four types of linear Langmuir (Types I, II, III, IV). The findings indicate potential errors as selecting one of linearized Langmuir types in equilibrium study. It is suggested that nonlinear models should be applied for better fitness.

Abstract
Photocatalysis is considered to be an effective way to remove organic pollutants, but the key to photocatalysis is finding a high-efficiency and stable photocatalyst. 2D materials-based heterojunction has aroused widespread concerns in photocatalysis because of its merits in more active sites, adjustable band gaps and shorter charge transfer distance. Among various 2D heterojunction systems, 2D/2D heterojunction with a face-to-face contact interface is regarded as a highly promising photocatalyst. Due to the strong coupling interface in 2D/2D heterojunction, the separation and migration of photoexcited electron-hole pairs are facilitated, which enhances the photocatalytic performance. Thus, the design of 2D/2D heterojunction can become a potential model for expanding the application of photocatalysis in the removal of organic pollutants. Herein, in this review, we first summarize the fundamental principles, classification, and strategies for elevating photocatalytic performance. Then, the synthesis and application of the 2D/2D heterojunction system for the removal of organic pollutants are discussed. Finally, the challenges and perspectives in 2D/2D heterojunction photocatalysts and their application for removing organic pollutants are presented.

Abstract
In this work, magnetic mesoporous polymelamine-formaldehyde composites were synthesized via a facile Schiff base reaction. The magnetic mesoporous polymelamine-formaldehyde composites combined both the properties of mesoporous polymelamine-formaldehyde and the magnetism of NH2 -SiO2 @Fe3 O4 nanoparticles, possessing high specific surface area (150.66 m2 g-1 ) and good magnetism (24.50 emu g-1 ). The magnetic mesoporous polymelamine-formaldehyde composites were employed as magnetic adsorbent for the extraction of sulfonamides. Under optimal conditions, good linearities with correlation coefficients higher than 0.9984 were obtained between peak area and sulfonamides concentration (2-200 μg L-1 ) with limits of detection in the range of 0.33-0.58 μg L-1 . The established method was successfully applied for the determination of sulfonamides in egg and milk samples. The adsorption mechanisms demonstrated that the adsorption of magnetic mesoporous polymelamine-formaldehyde composites toward sulfonamides was a multilayer process, and adsorption kinetics followed the pseudo-second-order model.

Novel nanohybrids for effervescence enhanced magnetic solid-phase microextraction of wide-polarity organic pollutants in roasted meat samples. J Sep Sci 2021; 44:4313-4326. Abstract
To simultaneously and efficiently extract pollutants with differential polarities, we herein fabricated and characterized a multifunctional nanocomposite. The novel nanohybrids used NiFe2 O4 as magnetic cores, and NH2 -MIL-101(Al), β-cyclodextrin and graphene oxide as functional components combined with magnetic cores. With the aid of graphene oxide's large π-conjugated system, NH2 -MIL-101(Al)'s strong adsorption to moderately/strongly polar chemicals, and β-cyclodextrin's specific recognition effect, the nanohybrids realized synergistically efficient extraction of polyaromatic hydrocarbons and bisphenols with a logKow range of 3-6. Combined with acidic and alkaline sources, the nanohybrids-based effervescent tablets were prepared. Based on effervescent reaction-enhanced nanohybrids-based efficient adsorption/extraction and high performance liquid chromatography and fluorescence detection, we successfully developed an excellent microextraction method for the simultaneous determination of both polyaromatic hydrocarbons and bisphenols in roasted meat samples. Several important variables were optimized as follows: Na2 CO3 and tartaric acid as acidic and alkaline sources, 900 μLof the mixed solvent (acetone and hexane at 2:1 by v/v) as the eluent, 5 min of elution time. Under optimized conditions, the novel method gave low limits of detection (0.07-0.30 μg kg-1 ), satisfactory recoveries (86.9-103.9%), and high precision (relative standard deviations of 1.9-6.7%) in roasted lamb, beef, pork, chicken, and sausage samples.

Abstract
Using MIL-101(Fe) as the source of carbon and Fe, a magnetic porous carbon (MPC) material with Fe3C nanoparticles encapsulated in porous carbon was prepared through one-pot pyrolysis under N2 atmosphere. With MPC as adsorption material, a stir bar sorptive-dispersive microextraction (SBSDME) method was proposed to extract and preconcentrate sulfonamides (SAs) prior to HPLC-DAD determination. To investigate their extraction ability, different MPC materials were prepared under different carbonization temperatures (600, 700, 800, 900, and 1000 °C). The material prepared under 900 °C (MPC-900) exhibited the highest extraction ability for SAs. The as-prepared MPC materials were also characterized by Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, zeta potential, and other techniques. The main parameters that affect extraction were systematically studied. Under optimal conditions, favorable linearity (R2 ≥ 0.9938) and detection limits (0.02-0.04 ng mL-1) of sulfonamides were obtained. The average recoveries for spiked milk and lake water samples ranged from 76.9 to 109% and from 75.4 to 118% with RSDs of 3.10-9.63% and 1.71-11.3%, respectively. Sulfameter and sulfisoxazole were detected in milk sample. Sulfisoxazole was detected in the lake water sample. The MPC-900 material demonstrated excellent reusability. It can be reused 24 times with peak areas having no obvious decline. The method can be applied to extract ultra-trace compounds in complex sample matrices. Schematic presentation of a stir bar sorptive-dispersive microextraction (SBSDME) by using magnetic porous carbon (MPC) composites as sorbent combined with high-performance liquid chromatography for sensitive analysis of sulfonamides in milk and lake water samples.

Abstract
A composite adsorbent composed of metallic copper (Cu), polypyrrole (PPy), halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) and magnetite nanoparticles (Fe3O4) was developed to extract and enrich sulfonamides by dispersive magnetic solid phase extraction. The composite could adsorb sulfonamides via hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic, π-π and π-electron-metal interactions. The extraction conditions were optimized and the developed composite adsorbent was characterized and provided a large surface area that enhanced extraction efficiency for sulfonamides. Coupled with high performance liquid chromatography, the adsorbent was used to quantitatively determine sulfonamides found in milk samples. The response of the developed method exhibited linearity from 5.0 to 150.0 μg kg-1 for sulfathiazole, and from 2.5 to 100.0 μg kg-1 for sulfamerazine, sulfamonomethoxine and sulfadimethoxine. Limits of detection were between 2.5 and 5.0 μg kg-1. Recoveries of sulfonamides in milk samples ranged from 83.0 to 99.2% with RSDs lower than 6%. The developed composite adsorbent showed good reproducibility and reusability.

Abstract
In the present work, three-dimensional (3D) and flower-like SnS2 materials were coated on the surface of Fe3O4@nSiO2 through an in-situ growth method. The 3D architecture could avoid the accumulation and reaggregation with better stability and was beneficial for the exposure of more active sites. The prepared magnetic SnS2 composites were used for the enrichment of sulfonamide antibiotics (SAs), and various experimental parameters affecting the extraction efficiency were investigated. The results showed the equilibrium of extraction and desorption towards target SAs could be reached within 3 min by using the Fe3O4@nSiO2-SnS2 composites. Under optimized conditions, the proposed approach possessed good linearity in the range of 0.1-200 ng·mL-1 with correlation coefficients r2 above 0.9964 and low limits of detection (LODs) from 0.025 to 0.250 ng·mL-1 for the five target SAs. Moreover, good repeatability was obtained with the intra-day and inter-day precision in terms of relative standard deviations (RSDs) within 1.1%-10.8% and 7.4%-13.1%, and the recoveries under three spiked concentrations were between 81.8% and 119.7% with adequate accuracy. Different samples including tap water, milk and honey were collected for magnetic solid-phase extraction and determination of target SAs by using the obtained Fe3O4@nSiO2-SnS2 composites to demonstrate the utility. All the results indicated that the proposed method had great potential for effective preconcentration and determination of SAs in complex samples.

Abstract
A novel oxygen-doped g-C3N4 nanoplate (OCNP) structure that can serve as an efficient sulfadimethoxine (SDM) sensing platform has been developed. Taking advantage of its inherent oxygen-containing functional groups and 2D layered structure with π-conjugated system, OCNP exhibits effective radiative recombination of surface-confined electron-hole pairs and efficient π-π interaction with SDM. This causes rapid fluorescence response and thus ensures the fast and continuous monitoring of SDM. Based on the fluorescence experiments and band structure calculation, the mechanism of the SDM-induced quenching phenomenon was mainly elucidated as the photoinduced electron transfer process under a dynamic quenching mode. Under optimized conditions, the as-proposed nanosensor, which emitted strong fluorescence at 375 nm with an excitation wavelength at 255 nm, presents an excellent analytical performance toward SDM with a wide linear range from 3 to 60 μmol L-1 and a detection limit of 0.85 μmol L-1 (S/N = 3). In addition, this strategy exhibits satisfactory recovery varied from 94 to 103% with relative standard derivations (RSD) in the range 0.9 to 6.8% in real water samples. It also shows marked tolerability to a series of high concentrations of metals and inorganic salts. This strategy not only broadens the application of oxygen-doped g-C3N4 nanomaterial in antibiotic sensing field but also presents a promising potential for on-line contaminant tracing in complex environments.

Abstract
Nanohybrid magnetic optosensing probes were designed and fabricated to enrich and detect ultra-trace levels of mafenide and sulfisoxazole simultaneously. The probes combined the high affinity of MIL-101 and the sensitivity of graphene quantum dots (GQDs) and cadmium telluride quantum dots (CdTe QDs) with the selectivity and rapid separation provided by a magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer (MMIP). Since the MIL101-MMIP-GQD and MIL101-MMIP-CdTe QD probes produced high fluorescence emission intensities at 435 and 572 nm, respectively, mafenide and sulfisoxazole could be simultaneously detected. Quantitative analysis was based on fluorescence quenching produced by binding between target molecules and imprinted recognition cavities. In the optimal experimental condition, emission intensity was quenched linearly with increasing analyte concentration from 0.10 to 25.0 μg L-1. Limit of detection was 0.10 μg L-1 for mafenide and sulfisoxazole. The developed optosensor was applied to detect ultra-trace amounts of mafenide and sulfisoxazole in bovine milk. Recoveries of mafenide and sulfisoxazole in spiked bovine milk ranged from 80.4 to 97.9% with RSDs <5% and the analysis results agreed well with HPLC analysis. The proposed probes provided excellent sensitivity, selectivity, ease and convenience of use.

Abstract
A novel covalent triazine-based organic framework (CTF), SCAU-2, was fabricated and used as an adsorbent for the solid-phase extraction of fourteen kinds of sulfonamides (SAs) from meat. Another CTF, SCAU-1, was adopted as a comparison material, as it has a similar motif. A series of structural characterization steps was carried out on the synthesized materials and several parameters were investigated during the extraction process, including the amount of adsorbent, the dilution ratio, the pH of the sample, and the washing and elution solvents. After detection with UHPLC-Q/TOF-MS/MS, the results revealed that SCAU-2 showed high extraction efficiencies towards the selected SAs. The LOD values are from 0.05 to 0.54 ng g-1, and the recoveries are from 84.1% to 91.9%, with RSDs ranging from 3.2% to 4.8% for SCAU-2 when spiked at 50 ng g-1. The results demonstrated that the proposed method has good applicability for the determination of SAs in complicated samples.

Abstract
In this study, activated carbon/diatomite-based magnetic nancomposites (denoted as AC/DBMNs) were synthesized and applied as an adsorbent for magnetic solid-phase extraction of S-phenylmercapturic acid (S-PMA) from human urine prior to high-performance liquid chromatography. The surface morphologies and structures of AC/DBMNs were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, transmission and scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area, vibrating sample magnetometer and ζ-potential measurements. The experimental parameters including sample volume, sample pH, adsorbent amount, extraction time, elution solvent and desorption time were investigated in detail. Under the optimum conditions, the method exhibited good linearity (r > 0.9993) within the concentration ranges of 0.03-1.0 mg/L. Moreover, the limits of detection and quantification were 0.01 and 0.03 mg/L, respectively. The enrichment factor was 5, and good recoveries (88.9-97.3%) with relative standard deviations in the range of 5.6-6.8% (n = 6) for inter-day and 6.3-8.1% (n = 6) for intra-day were achieved. The developed method was successfully applied to the analysis of S-PMA in urine samples. In addition, this accurate and sensitive method has great potential to be applied in the early screening and clinical diagnosis of the workers exposed to benzene.

Abstract
The excessive accumulation of sulfonamides (SAs) drugs makes it imperative to develop novel materials for boosting simultaneously efficient removal and precise monitoring of multiple SAs. Herein, three-dimensional hollow flower-like Ni@nitrogen-doped graphitic carbon (3DHFNi@NGC) was designed/fabricated via a facile one-pot hydrothermal route and subsequent pyrolysis. The resultant 3DHFNi@NGC exhibits a unique 3D hollow hierarchical architecture assembled by a layer-by-layer interlacing of corrugated nanosheets subunits, thereby affording numerous interconnected channels, available internal/external surfaces as well as suitable interior cavities. By virtue of its special architecture and in-situ generated N-doped graphitic carbon along with good magnetism, the 3DHFNi@NGC demonstrates superior sorption performance towards SAs, accompanied by high total saturated adsorption capacity, fast sorption rate and easy magnetic recycling. It is noteworthy that as-constructed 3DHFNi@NGC also exhibits high-sensitive/simultaneous detection of trace multiple SAs combined high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), together with a low detection limit (0.035-0.071 ng mL-1) and a broad linear range (0.2-100 ng mL-1) as well as high enrichment factors (252 < EFs < 291). These indicate that the smart 3DHFNi@NGC could be a promising candidate for the synchronous remediation and sensitive detection of multiple SAs in aqueous systems, presenting a viable option for sewage treatment and water quality monitoring.

Abstract
In the present study, a novel, simple, and fast sample preparation technique is described for the determination of four sulfonamides (SAs), namely Sulfathiazole (STZ), sulfamethizole (SMT), sulfadiazine (SDZ), and sulfanilamide (SN) in cow milk prior to HPLC. This method takes advantage of a novel material that combines the extractive properties of graphene oxide (GO) and the known properties of common polyurethane sponge (PU) and that makes sample preparation easy, fast, cheap and efficient. The PU-GO sponge was prepared by an easy and fast procedure and was characterized with FTIR spectroscopy. After the preparation of the sorbent material, a specific extraction protocol was optimized and combined with HPLC-UV determination could be applied for the sensitive analysis of trace SAs in milk. The proposed method showed good linearity while the coefficients of determination (R2) were found to be high (0.991-0.998). Accuracy observed was within the range 90.2-112.1% and precision was less than 12.5%. Limit of quantification for all analytes in milk was 50 μg kg-1. Furthermore, the PU-GO sponge as sorbent material offered a very clean extract, since no matrix effect was observed.

Abstract
A novel magnetic adsorbent Fe3 O4 /reduced graphene oxide-carbon nanotubes, was prepared by one-pot solvothermal synthesis method. It was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction and vibrating sample magnetometry. The diameter of Fe3 O4 microparticles was about 350 nm, which were covered by carbon nanotubes and reduced graphene oxide sheets, while carbon nanotubes inserted between the reduced graphene oxide sheets effectively prevented their aggregation. The composite had large surface area and good magnetic property, suiting for magnetic solid-phase extraction and the determination of sulfonamides, by coupling with high-performance liquid chromatography. Under the optimized conditions (including extraction time, amount of adsorbent, solution pH, ionic strength and desorption conditions), a good linear was achieved in the concentration range of 5-500 μg/L and the low limits of detection and low limits of quantification were 0.35-1.32 and 1.16-4.40 μg/L, respectively. The enrichment factors were estimated to be 24.72 to 30.15 fold. The proposed method was applied for the detection of sulfonamides in milk sample and the recoveries were 88.4-105.9%, with relative standard deviations of 0.74-5.38%.

Abstract
An automated magnetic dispersive micro-solid phase extraction procedure in a fluidized reactor was developed for the determination of fluoroquinolone antimicrobial drugs (fleroxacin, norfloxacin and ofloxacin) in meat-based baby food samples. A stepwise injection system was successfully combined with afluidized reactorand applied for the magnetic dispersive micro-solid phase extraction procedure automation. The developed automated procedure involved injection of the sample solution into the fluidized reactor followed by the on-line separation of the analytes from the sample matrix based on fluidized beds strategy using magnetic nanoparticles, elution and determination of the analytes using a high performance liquid chromatography system with fluorescence detection. The floating of the magnetic nanoparticles in a liquid sample phase was accomplished by air-bubbling. In the developed method Zr-Fe-C magnetic nanoparticles were used as an efficient sorbent for the determination of fleroxacin, norfloxacin and ofloxacin. Under the optimal conditions, the calibration graphs were linear over the concentration ranges of 10-1000 μg L-1 for fleroxacin (R2 = 0.996), 5-1000 μg L-1for norfloxacin (R2 = 0.998) and ofloxacin (R2 = 0.998). The limits of detection, calculated from the blank tests based on 3σ, were 3.0 μg L-1forfleroxacin, 1.5 μg L-1for norfloxacin and ofloxacin. The limits of quantification, calculated from the blank tests based on 10σ, were 10 μg L-1 forfleroxacin, 5 μg L-1for norfloxacin and ofloxacin. The method was applied for the determination of fluoroquinolonesin meat-based baby food samples and the results were compared with those obtained by the reference method. The recovery values for all analytes were within of 86-122% range.
