Abstract
Nanoparticles (NPs) play a crucial role in organic transformation and are becoming increasingly attractive in the field of catalysis as they show good catalytic activity in organic as well as aqueous media. Numerous NPs have been utilized for several organic transformations in aqueous media, which have led to dedicated efforts for the complete coverage of the application of metal, metal oxide, bimetallic and supported NPs in water-mediated organic transformations in the last decades. This review aims to provide current highlights on the application of various types of metal NPs for organic transformations in aqueous media. The remarkable benefits associated with the catalytic application of NPs in water allows for various transformations to be performed under very mild and green conditions. Lastly, the author's perspectives are briefly considered, including future developments and crucial challenges in the ever-growing field of nanocatalysis.

Abstract
This research paper presents the synthesis and characterization of the magnetic nanoparticle, Fe3O4@Sal@Cu, [Fe3O4@Si-CH2-CH2-CH2-NH-NH-CO-N=CH-(2-HO-C6H4-)@Cu] as a green and retrievable catalyst. This catalyst was characterized by FTIR, XRD, EDX and TGA analyses. In addition, the catalytic activity of this new catalyst was investigated for the synthesis of 2-amino 4H-chromenes by producing good-to-excellent yields under mild reaction conditions. The other advantages of the developed nanocatalyst are its ecofriendliness, being easy to handle, high reusability and being magnetically separable. The synthesis of some new derivatives of 2-amino-4H-chromenes in the presence of this nanocatalyst is also reported.

Abstract
Abstract
Magnetic particles were prepared by a hydrothermal method and then successively covered by Metal–Organic-Frameworks MIL-101-NH2 with a high surface area. This was followed by deposition of Pd(OAc)2 on Fe3O4–NH2@MIL-101-NH2 particles. The final catalyst was characterized with FT-IR, nitrogen physisorption, thermogravimetry (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) combined with energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), wide-angle X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The prepared magnetic catalyst was effectively used in the Heck coupling reaction in the presence of an inorganic base. The reaction parameters such as the base type, amounts of catalyst and solvents, temperature, and substrates ratios were optimized. The catalyst was then magnetically separated, washed, and reused 7 times without losing significantly catalytic activity.

Abstract
5-Oxo-hexahydroquinoline (5-oxo-HHQ) represents a biologically attractive fused heterocyclic core. Various synthetic analogs of 5-oxo-HHQ have been synthesized and assessed for different biological activities. Some derivatives have exhibited myorelaxant, analgesic, anticancer, antibacterial, antifungal, antitubercular, antimalarial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, multidrug resistance reversal, anti-Alzheimer, neuroprotective, antidiabetic, antidyslipidemic and antiosteoporotic activities. This review provides a comprehensive report regarding the preparation and pharmacological characterization of 5-oxo-HHQ derivatives that have been reported so far. This information will be beneficial for medicinal chemists in the field of drug discovery to design and develop new and potent therapeutical agents bearing the 5-oxo-HHQ nucleus.

Abstract
This work focussed on the synthesis of a new catalytic material isinglass (IG)-based Fe3O4@GA@IG core/shell magnetic nanoparticles and the investigation of its catalytic activity in two important multicomponent reactions. Fe3O4 nanoparticles were prepared using a simple coprecipitation method and then coated with IG consisting predominantly of the protein collagen in the presence of glutaraldehyde as a cross-linking agent. The obtained hybrid material has been characterized by Fourier transform infrared analysis, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), vibrating sample magnetometry, energy-dispersive X-ray, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller analyses. The results of XRD analysis implied that the prepared nanocomposite consists of two compounds of crystalline magnetite and amorphous IG, and the formation of its core/shell structure had been confirmed by TEM images. The catalytic performance of the as-prepared core/shell bionanocatalyst was evaluated for the first time in the synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine and 4H-pyran derivatives under sonication in ethanol. This core/shell structure because of the superparamagnetic property of Fe3O4 and unique properties of IG as a bifunctional biocatalyst offers a high potential for many catalytic applications. Recycling study revealed that no significant decrease in the catalytic activity was observed even after six runs.

Abstract
Compounds containing sulfur–sulfur bonds (often called disulfides or more specifically disulfanes) are arguably one of the most valuable functional groups in organic synthetic chemistry. They exist extensively in nature, in which they exhibit important biological activities. Furthermore, a diverse range of natural and synthetic disulfides have been discovered that have many applications as pharmaceutical and agriculture chemicals as well as synthetic intermediates. Since thiols are commercially accessible or easily synthesizable materials and their choice as starting materials is widely reported for the synthesis of organic sulfur compounds, unsurprisingly the oxidative coupling of thiols is the best and simplest route for the preparation of disulfides. In recent times, nanocatalysts have shown excellent catalytic activity and reusability in the oxidation of thiols to disulfides. Herein, we summarize the recently reported breakthroughs in the use of nanocatalysts for the oxidative coupling of thiols to their corresponding disulfides, with the goal of stimulating further progress in this field.
