Abstract
A series of six novel imidazole anchored azo-imidazole derivatives (L1-L6) have been prepared by the simple condensation reaction of azo-coupled ortho-vaniline precursor with amino functionalised imidazole derivative and the synthesized derivatives (L1-L6) have been characterized by different analytical and spectroscopic techniques. Molecular docking studies were carried out to ascertain the inhibitory action of studied ligands (L1-L6) against the Main Protease (6LU7) of novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The result of the docking of L1-L6 showed a significant inhibitory action against the Main protease (Mpro) of SARS-CoV-2 and the binding energy (ΔG) values of the ligands (L1-L6) against the protein 6LU7 have found to be -7.7 Kcal/mole (L1), -7.4 Kcal/mole (L2), -6.7 Kcal/mole (L3), -7.9 Kcal/mole (L4), -8.1 Kcal/mole (L5) and -7.9 Kcal/mole (L6). Pharmacokinetic properties (ADME) of the ligands (L1-L6) have also been studied.

Abstract
The title compound, C15H22N4O5S, was prepared via alkyl-ation of 3-(chloro-meth-yl)-5-(pentan-3-yl)-1,2,4-oxa-diazole in anhydrous dioxane in the presence of tri-ethyl-amine. The thia-diazine ring has an envelope conformation with the S atom displaced by 0.4883 (6) Å from the mean plane through the other five atoms. The planar 1,2,4-oxa-diazole ring is inclined to the mean plane of the thia-diazine ring by 77.45 (11)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, forming chains propagating along the b-axis direction. Hirshfeld surface analysis and two-dimensional fingerprint plots have been used to analyse the inter-molecular contacts present in the crystal. Mol-ecular docking studies were use to evaluate the title compound as a potential system that inter-acts effectively with the capsid of the Hepatitis B virus (HBV), supported by an experimental in vitro HBV replication model.

Abstract
In this review, specific therapeutic and medicinal advantages including antiviral, antibacterial,
antifungal and antitumor, strategies for drug designing, structure-activity relationship, advances in
the syntheses of azo and hippuric acid derivatives of more than 50 compounds have been discussed
since 2009-2018. It is found that phenyl-diazenyl azo derivatives and pyridinyl substituted hippuric acid
derivatives showed promising antiretroviral potential. The incorporation of azo functionality to the
respective quinolones and coumarin moieties and the insertion of thiocarbazone to hippuric acid displayed
immense antibacterial activities. While, azo and hippuric acid derivatives of triazole and phenyl
species gave maximum fungicidal as well as cytotoxic activities.

Abstract
The new compound 7-methylpyrazolo[4,5-e][1,2,4]thiadiazin-3(2H,4H)-one1,1-dioxide (5) was synthesized and its novel mono N2- or N4-substituted derivatives 6 and 7 were prepared by regioselective N-alkylation of 5 with different molar ratios of NaH and alkyl halides. Based on the regioselective alkylation conditions found a facile one-pot synthesis of N2,N4-disubstituted pyrazolo[4,5-e][1,2,4] thiadiazines 8 was developed. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR,(1)H-NMR, (13)C-NMR and MS spectral analysis.

Abstract
The benzothiadiazine dioxide derivatives are potent non-nucleoside human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) inhibitors. As part of our comprehensive structure-activity relationship (SAR) study of these compounds, we have now proposed structural modifications on the heterocyclic moiety both on the number and the nature of the fused heterocycle and on the kind of heteroatoms present on it. Synthesis of these new compounds (benzyl derivatives of thiadiazines, thienothiadiazines, benzothienothiadiazines and quinazolines) and the antiviral evaluation against HCMV has been performed. SAR investigation on this class of compounds has defined the structural requirements for potency and toxicity. They have revealed two important clues: i) a fused ring to the thiadiazine framework is necessary to maintain the anti-HCMV action, and ii) the sulfamido moiety in the main heterocycle is crucial to avoid cytotoxicity.

Abstract
The synthesis of acyclonucleosides derived from thieno[3,2-c] and thieno[2,3-c][1,2,6]thiadiazine 2,2-dioxides was achieved following the silylation method. Lipase-mediated methodology was employed for deprotection of the acyclic moieties. The antiviral effects were determined against a broad spectrum of viruses, including cytomegalovirus (CMV) and varicella zoster virus (VZV). Only minor antiviral activity against VZV was observed for those acyclonucleosides carrying a benzyl group.
