Guiding future research on psychological interventions in people with COVID-19 and post COVID syndrome and comorbid emotional disorders based on a systematic review. Front Public Health 2024; 11:1305463. Abstract
Objective The COVID-19 pandemic has been emotionally challenging for the entire population and especially for people who contracted the illness. This systematic review summarizes psychological interventions implemented in COVID-19 and long COVID-19 patients who presented comorbid emotional disorders. Methods and measures 3,839 articles were identified in 6 databases and 43 of them were included in this work. Two independent researchers selected the articles and assessed their quality. Results 2,359 adults were included in this review. Severity of COVID-19 symptoms ranged from asymptomatic to hospitalized patients; only 3 studies included long COVID-19 populations. Similar number of randomized controlled studies (n = 15) and case studies (n = 14) were found. Emotional disorders were anxiety and/or depressive symptoms (n = 39) and the psychological intervention most represented had a cognitive behavioral approach (n = 10). Length of psychological programs ranged from 1-5 sessions (n = 6) to 16 appointments (n = 2). Some programs were distributed on a daily (n = 4) or weekly basis (n = 2), but other proposed several sessions a week (n = 4). Short (5-10 min, n = 4) and long sessions (60-90 min, n = 3) are proposed. Most interventions were supported by the use of technologies (n = 18). Important risk of bias was present in several studies. Conclusion Promising results in the reduction of depressive, anxiety and related disorders have been found. However, important limitations in current psychological interventions were detected (i.e., duration, format, length, and efficacy of interventions were not consistently established across investigations). The results derived from our work may help to understand clinical practices in the context of pandemics and could guide future efforts to manage emotional suffering in COVID-19 patients. A stepped model of care could help to determine the dosage, length and format of delivery for each patient.Systematic review registration: PROSPERO 2022 CRD42022367227. Medicine (Baltimore) 2023; 102:e34346. Abstract
Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder, with persistent insomnia being associated with greater risk and leading to a range of functional consequences that place a heavy burden on patients and healthcare systems. A weight of evidence has shown that complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) seems to have a positive effect on improving sleep. However, the research trends of CAM intervention for insomnia have not been studied systematically through bibliometrics. We searched the relevant literature over the past decade in the Web of Science Core Collection database on September 20, 2022 and used CiteSpace and gCLUTO to visually analyze and cluster countries, institutions, authors, journals and keywords. Through screening, 1655 papers were included. In the past decade, the number of articles published in this field shown an annual trend of growth, with explosive growth in 2020. The USA has the largest number of publications, the University of Hong Kong is the leading institution in this field, and the most cited journal is Sleep. Mental condition and quality of life in patients with insomnia, insomnia related to cancer, effect of mindfulness meditation, yoga and aromatherapy on insomnia and the psychiatric symptoms resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic are at the forefront of this field. In this study, bibliometrics and visualization analysis were performed on related studies on CAM intervention for insomnia. This will be the focus and development direction of insomnia treatment in the future to formulate structured treatment plans for traditional Chinese medicine-related CAM, validate large-scale clinical trials, solve cancer comorbidity insomnia and related psychiatric symptoms and deal with mental health-related insomnia after public health outbreaks.

Abstract
Objective The purpose of this study is to find out more about the psycho-social-spiritual problems experienced by People with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) Muslims and their efforts to overcome them by using religious coping. Methods This research is a qualitative research method with a telling-the-stories approach. This study describes assumptions about the physical/behavioral, social/emotional, cultural/historical, and spiritual aspects related to clinical participants' body, life, and power. In the context of this research, telling the stories from HIV/AIDS patients about how psycho-social-spiritual problems are experienced and efforts to overcome them with religious coping. This study involved 33 HIV/AIDS patients informants at Central General Hospital (RSUP) of Dr. Kariadi Semarang, Central Java with the criteria of being Muslim, medication adherence (ARV therapy). Findings The results showed that most PLWHA experienced physical complaints such as pain in the early days of taking ARVs, opportunistic infections such as Stevens-Johnson, dizziness, temporary blindness, and body stiffness. Psychological problems including stress, anxiety, fear of death, and guilt. The physical and psychological problems experienced by PLWHA encourage them to use religious coping such as praying, dhikr, and prayer. This religious coping has a calming effect, which impacts reducing physical complaints and overcoming psychological problems. The psychoneuroimmunology pathway can explain the physical and psychological relationship, which shows that favorable psychological conditions trigger the nerves to work optimally to increase immunity. Discussion In conclusion, religious coping can be used to overcome the bio-psycho-social-religious problems of PLWHA. This strengthens the application of holistic therapy to PLWHA through palliative care to handle pain and other physical complaints and psychosocial-spiritual concerns.

Abstract
This research aims to determine the burnout levels of male and female students on the three subscales of Exhaustion (EX), Cynicism (CY), and Professional Efficacy (PE) and their resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a non-experimental quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional research conducted on students of Riau University. The snowball sampling method was used to obtain data from 131 students consisting of 69 female and 62 male through the distribution of an online questionnaire and analyzed using the independent sample t-test and Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The data distribution showed that burnout on the PE, EX, CY, and resilience is in the high, moderate, and low categories, respectively. The data analysis showed that the burnout variable for the PE and EX indicators in female was higher than for men. Meanwhile, male's CY and resilience indicators were higher than female. This indicates significant differences in burnout and resilience between male and female during the pandemic. The results also showed that there is no correlation between PE and resilience as well as CY and resilience, while EX and resilience show a correlation. This finding shows the psychological condition of students in using distance learning during the pandemic. There is a need for strategies to be implemented to reduce the impact of the pandemic on students for better mental health.
